Violet Skye was born into a wealthy Manehattan family, a family that at first seemed peaceful. After a while, she became the victim of abuse and torment by those who she thought loved her. One day, she decided to escape the pain and misery she faced, and strike it out on the streets of Manehattan as a battered, defeated, and weak young mare.

Overdrive was a lonely, but hardworking stallion facing his own issues, between the loss of both of his parents, an unrealistic dream slowly fading away, and hopeless romantic doomed from day one. His dreams led him to Manehattan, and yet another missed opportunity passed him by. As he was ready to give up on his dream, a young mare caused him to change his dreams, and open up his heart and home.

Two different ponies, two different sets of circumstances, but in the end, one happy family lasting beyond the end of time.
