Chapters Author's Note
Reading the final part of "Colgate's Practice" will aid in understanding some of the events mentioned in the first chapter. Things such as the disappearances of Lyra and Pinkamena, the explosion that caused Colgate to code and the destruction of her old practice and why Amethyst and Sea Swirl were hired.
Graduation Day
It was a chilly December morning when Amethyst Star and her best friend Sea Swirl woke up. The two were both very excited because they were finally going to get their certificates in their fields of study. Amethyst was getting her certificate to be a dental hygienist and Sea Swirl was getting her certificate in clerical work. While the two had only shared the same dorm for a few months, the two had become very close and while they didn't show it, they dreaded the thoughts of no longer living together.
Amethyst headed into the kitchen to find Sea Swirl fixing herself a bowl of cereal. For a while she has had a crush on her but did a good job hiding it. She asked, "Sea Swirl, are you ready for today?"
Sea Swirl replied, "Yeah but I will admit that I really hope we will get jobs in the same town."
Amethyst added, "That would be nice and what would make things even nicer is if we could both get jobs back in Ponyville. I miss home so much."
While both of them hoped they could get jobs in their hometown, they knew that with the way the economy in Equestria was at that time, that getting a job in their field anywhere would be a blessing. After finishing their breakfast the two smiled at one another and headed to the academy to get ready for their ceremonies. When she got there Amethyst headed to the dental wing of the academy and out of the corner of her eye she saw Luna talking to Colgate. She could hear a bit of what they were saying and heard that Colgate was up there looking for a new hygienist. She got a smile on her face and said to herself, "Oh my goodness, I might be able to go home after all!"
Before the ceremony started Amethyst's adviser, Blue Star, pulled her to the side and said, "Well Amethyst, I have some good news for you. I am pretty close to getting you a position lined up in Fillydelphia to work for the dental hospital there. It isn't guaranteed yet but you will be paid very well there."
Amethyst's face dropped a bit when she heard this. She replied, "Thank you. I really appreciate everything you do for me."
Blue Star could sense a bit of sadness within her. He asked, "Amethyst, are you ok? You just seemed to lose a bit of enthusiasm when I told you I was close to getting you a great job lined up."
Amethyst replied, "I will admit, I do wish I could get a job back home but I know the chances of that are small because there is only one dentist down there."
Blue Star said, "Well with the way things are in Equestria right now, you should be glad that there is a chance for you to get a job at all." He gave her a more stern look and continued, "Now go get in line so you can get your certificate."
Amethyst gave him a weak smile and replied, "Yes sir, I understand."
She got in line waiting for the ceremony to begin. She was looking forward and saw that Colgate had an aisle seat in the section for perspective employers. Her eyes lit up a bit again despite what her adviser said. She knows how Colgate prefers ponies from Ponyville over ones from other places to work for her. Soon the band started playing and they began walking up to the stage to get their certificate. Given that she was the only Ponyville native graduating that year, Colgate's eyes were fixed on her throughout the ceremony and she could see that. She had a feeling deep down that Colgate was going to approach her immediately after the ceremony.
The ceremony lasted twenty minutes and as soon as it was over Colgate approached her. Amethyst saw her, gave her a huge smile and asked, "Hi Colgate! How is everything going?"
Colgate replied, "Things are going fairly good." She put her hoof around Amethyst and continued, "I am very glad you approached me Amethyst. I am wondering what you would think about working for me?"
Amethyst hugged her and excitedly asked, "You want me to work for you?"
Colgate smiled and replied, "Of course! You are a Ponyville native and I know you have a good work ethic."
Amethyst said, "I would love to work for you!"
Colgate replied, "Good! If you want you can return with me to Ponyville and we can get all the proper paperwork filled out and you can start on Monday when I reopen."
Amethyst asked, "Reopen?" She then realized why Colgate said reopen. She continued, "Oh yeah, you lost your first office to that explosion. Are you ok?"
Colgate replied, "Yeah I'm a lot better. Had it not been for Twilight rushing me to the emergency room right away, I probably would not be standing here."
Amethyst's adviser saw her talking to Colgate and was not happy. He had a feeling that despite him being in the process of getting her a high paying job in Fillydelphia, that she had accepted a job offer from Colgate. He glared at Amethyst and said, "So Amethyst, I see you are talking to Colgate about a job. You do know that she won't be able to pay you as much as they would in Fillydelphia don't you?"
Amethyst had a nervous look on her face when Colgate interrupted, "Listen, I may not be able to pay her quite as much but given the cost of living in Fillydelphia, she will be able to do a whole lot more with what I pay her living in Ponyville than she would be able to with what they would pay her there."
This was not the first time that Colgate had hired one of Blue Star's students while he was in the process of negotiating a job for them. She had done the same thing with Lyra when she hired her. He was very angry and snapped, "You know what Colgate, this is the second time you have done this to me. Sometimes I wonder why I even try when it comes to Ponyville natives. I should know that you will come up here, hire them and make their dreams of returning home a reality." He sighed and continued, "Screw it, I'm done with Ponyville natives."
The two rolled their eyes and headed off towards the cafe when they bumped into Sea Swirl. Sea Swirl saw Amethyst with Colgate and by the look on her face, she had a feeling that she had got a job. She hugged Amethyst and asked, "Amethyst, you look so happy. I take it Colgate hired you already?"
Amethyst replied, "Yep!"
Colgate saw that she had came from the clerical ceremony and asked, "Sea Swirl, I take it you got your certificate in clerical work?"
Sea Swirl replied, "Yes, why do you ask?"
Colgate said, "Well, I could use a receptionist. What would you think of coming and working for me?"
Sea Swirl was thrilled when Colgate asked her this. She enthusiastically accepted her offer and both graduates realized that what they had hoped for that morning was becoming reality. Now there was only one other thing that they were hoping for, and that was that they could live in the same place. Colgate realized that they would need to get their stuff before heading back to Ponyville. She asked, "Hey, when do you want to get your stuff and head back home?"
Amethyst replied, "Well we only have a few things since we lived in the dorms so getting our stuff home won't be much trouble."
Colgate asked, "What about living arrangements? Are you two going to live with your parents or do you have something else set up?"
Sea Swirl replied, "Well we would rather not live with our parents but we don't have anything set up because we didn't know where we would wind up getting hired."
Colgate had an unused bedroom in her upstairs and realized that having them live with her would be to her advantage. She asked, "Amethyst, Sea Swirl, what would you two think about living in the upstairs of my house? You'll have to share the same bedroom but it does have it's own bathroom. I know this might be an inconvenience but since the upstairs does not have a kitchen you will have to use the same one I do. Is that okay with you two?"
Sea Swirl replied "Of course it is okay! We're just happy that we'll have somewhere other than with our parents to live."
Amethyst asked, "How much rent will we have to pay?"
Colgate replied, "I wasn't planning on charging you rent. You can live there free of charge."
The two hugged Colgate and thanked her. They went to the cafe and grabbed some lunch before going to the dorms and getting the few things they did have. The train was relatively empty so transporting their stuff home was not that difficult. Once they arrived in Ponyville Colgate led the two upstairs to their bedroom. While Sea Swirl didn't think much about it Amethyst was very happy that they would still be sleeping in the same room like they did in their dorm.
Before she headed downstairs, Colgate was hugged by Amethyst who said, "Thank you so much Colgate! You have no idea how much I appreciate this."
Sea Swirl added, "Me too! I really appreciate everything you have already done for us."
Colgate replied, "Don't mention it ladies. I'll see you downstairs at supper time."
It was still a couple of hours until supper time so the two new graduates decided to talk some. Amethyst sat next to Sea Swirl on her bed and wrapped her hooves around her. She said, "You know Sea Swirl, I have a feeling that life is going to be very good for us."
Sea Swirl didn't like physical contact the way Amethyst did but put up with it so she wouldn't hurt her feelings. She had a nervous smile on her face and replied, "I agree, it will be."
After relaxing for a couple hours they headed down to the kitchen and was greeted by Colgate who was fixing cheeseburgers and macaroni and cheese for supper. While the two were used to eating mac and cheese neither one had ever eaten meat before. The two gagged at the very thoughts of it but realized that they should at least give it a chance since Colgate was being so nice and letting them live there for free.
An Odd Evening Discussion
Supper that night was a bit odd for all three ponies. Amethyst and Sea Swirl were eating meat for the first time in their lives and Colgate had not had supper with anypony since she killed Lyra and Pinkamena several months ago, which was something that she vowed to take to her grave with her. The three were gathered around the table in the dining room and Colgate could see that her new employees did not like the cheeseburgers she fixed for them. She asked, "What's the matter ladies, do you not like your meal?"
Amethyst replied, "It isn't that, it is just that neither one of us have ever eaten meat before."
Sea Swirl asked, "Colgate, how can you stand to eat meat and who got you into eating it?"
Colgate replied, "Well it was my mom and dad that introduced me to it. It is a tradition that has dated back many generations in my family. I think it all started back when my distant relatives were living in an area where not much in the way of nutritious plants would grow so they simply killed and ate the animals that did eat the prairie grass that grew there."
Sea Swirl asked, "Prairie grass? I've never heard of it. Where does this stuff grow?"
Colgate replied, "It grows along the foothills of the southern mountains. Why my family ever tried to settle there is beyond me. I doubt that place would even be fit for changelings, much less ponies."
Amethyst said, "You're probably right. I remember in geography class growing up the teacher talking about how it was a desolate wasteland and that he wouldn't even wish it upon his own worst enemy."
Colgate laughed, "Yeah it is that bad."
Soon they finished their supper and Colgate brought some papers out from the back and set them down in front of her new employees. Amethyst asked, "Colgate, what are these?"
Colgate replied, "They are the tax forms and citizenship forms that everypony must fill out before they can start work. After all, taxes do have to be held out of your check and Luna doesn't want anypony who is not either a citizen or a legal non-resident working in Equestria."
The two sort of took it as offensive that they had to fill out a proof of citizenship form before they could work given that they were both born in Ponyville but realized that there was no getting around the law. Once they finished filling out their forms they relaxed in the living room and had a nice discussion over some refreshing water. Amethyst asked, "Since we filled out those forms tonight, what will we do tomorrow since we don't go to work until Monday?"
Colgate replied, "Well I am thinking we could play some of the same board games that Lyra and I used to play before she vanished."
Sea Swirl really wondered what happened with Lyra. She asked, "What caused Lyra to leave anyway? I know you two were awfully close."
Colgate, who had developed nerves of steel during her time of torturing bad patients, answered the question without even breaking a sweat, "Well I gave her and Pinkamena their bonuses and told them to take a week off. Both of them headed to Manehattan and simply vanished. I don't know if something happened to them or if they simply decided it was time to start a new life, changed their identities and stayed there. I will admit, I was really distraught when they never returned and then right after that there was that explosion that destroyed my home, destroyed my practice and put me in the hospital."
Sea Swirl asked, "Colgate, I had heard rumors that you coded for a few minutes when you were in a coma. Is that true?"
Colgate replied, "Yes, that is true." Having a bit of a morbid sense of humor she laughed, "Thank Luna unicorns have that extra adrenaline or I would have stayed dead."
Amethyst asked, "Why are you laughing about that? Coding is nothing to laugh about!"
Colgate replied, "Oh don't mind me. I have a rather morbid sense of humor so I laugh about a lot of things that most ponies won't."
While the two realized that they would have to learn to put up with Colgate's morbid sense of humor they still had trouble comprehending how she could laugh about her own death and revival. Amethyst asked, "Colgate, is it only your own death that you laugh about or do you laugh about bad things happening to other ponies as well?"
Colgate replied, "Oh sometimes I find myself laughing when bad things happen to other ponies as well. For instance, once somepony left my office after I discovered he had six cavities and periodontal disease. Ugh ponies who don't take care of their teeth piss me off! Well he got hit by a stagecoach. Well he wound up breaking all his legs and suffered a ruptured spleen like I did. I couldn't help but laugh seeing him all crumpled over in a heap in the street!" She began to laugh sadistically and continued, "Oh and when he was in the hospital they had me come in and fill those cavities! I couldn't help but laugh when I was looking down at his half-broken body as I was filling those cavities. While he looked terrified, he couldn't move back to cringe. It was priceless, absolutely priceless!"
By this point they were kind of creeped out by the direction Colgate had taken their discussion. Amethyst asked, "Colgate, I know you find all this funny but could you not laugh about other ponies getting hurt around us? It really bothers us."
Colgate gave her a look of disapproval but replied, "Oh, ok. Some ponies just don't enjoy a good laugh!" She looked at the clock and continued, "Well it's getting late. I don't know about you two but I'm going to hit the hay. Sleep tight, don't let the parasprites bite."
After a rather odd evening discussion with Colgate, Amethyst and Sea Swirl headed up to their bedroom. When they got up there Sea Swirl had a nervous look on her face and Amethyst saw this. She asked, "Sea Swirl, what is wrong? You look really nervous."
Sea Swirl replied, "I'm just scared that I am going to have nightmares about a patient of ours getting hit by a stagecoach and then us having to help Colgate fill their cavities in the hospital."
Amethyst replied, "Oh I'm sure you'll be fine." She stretched her front legs and yawned, "Ugh I'm tired. I don't know about you but I'm ready to get some sleep."
Sea Swirl crawled into her bed while Amethyst shut off the light. Amethyst crawled into her bed and said, "Goodnight Sea Swirl."
Sea Swirl replied, "Good night Amethyst."
While Sea Swirl had no problems getting to sleep, Amethyst just couldn't. She found herself fantasizing about her friend, which she has been doing for quite some time now. Back in their dorm she always did a good job of not doing anything except keep her thoughts in her head but tonight was different. She began to rub her hoof up against her marehood and run it in a bit. She began to breathe more heavily and was quietly moaning, "Oh Sea Swirl, take me, take me!"
Despite her moaning getting a bit louder, Sea Swirl continued to sleep like a rock. Eventually Amethyst couldn't take it anymore and got out of bed. She had been attracted to Sea Swirl for quite some time but decided that tonight was the night that she was finally going to tell her how she really felt, how attracted she was to her. She quietly walked over to her roommate's bed and stood over her, watching her breathe. She finally bent down and began to suck on her horn. Sea Swirl began to moan loudly until finally she woke up screaming, causing Amethyst to stop sucking.
Sea Swirl shouted, "Amethyst, what the hay are you doing?"
Amethyst plopped on top of her and rolled Sea Swirl on top of her. She wrapped herself tightly around her and replied, "Sea Swirl, there is something I have to admit. For quite some time I have found you attractive and I really became attracted to you during our time in Canterlot together. I just couldn't handle it anymore, I couldn't just lie there alone in my bed anymore. I had to let you know the truth. I find you so sexy Sea Swirl, so so sexy!"
Sea Swirl was at a loss for words. While she found Amethyst attractive, she never once imagined of doing what Amethyst did to her. She replied, "Well I-well I really don't know what to say."
Amethyst wrapped her legs tightly around Sea Swirl and began to grind her marehood up against hers and moaned, "Just say you'll take me Sea Swirl. Say you'll take me! Take me baby, just say you'll take me!"
As Amethyst began to grind her marehood up against Sea Swirl's more aggressively her horn began to glow. Sea Swirl's horn began to glow as well and her true feelings for Amethyst came to the surface. She moaned, "Oh Amethyst, I'll be honest. When you walk and I see your butt move the way it does, it makes me so hot and bothered! It just makes me want us to crawl in bed and get hot and heavy."
The two began to kiss passionately and grind their bodies together tighter and tighter. Their horns were glowing so brightly that the whole room was as bright as it would be during the middle of the day. Amethyst gave Sea Swirl a seductive look and asked, "Sea Swirl, I am wondering......"
Sea Swirl knew exactly what she was thinking and replied, "Yes I want us to suck on one another's marehoods!"
The two laid to where they could bury their muzzles into the other's marehood and began to suck. Their moaning was loud, very loud. Very soon they began to do more than just suck, they began to run their tongues into one another, driving one another closer and closer to climax. Amethyst shouted, "I'm gonna cum!"
Sea Swirl added, "I'm gonna cum too! I gotta cum so bad!"
The two climaxed at the same time and flooded the other's mouth with cum. They swallowed what they could and then returned to laying face to face. They were looking into one another's eyes wishing that the night would never end. Sea Swirl said, "Oh Amethyst, that was pure heaven! I have never felt so wonderful in my life!" She gave Amethyst a deep, passionate kiss and continued, "Now this is what friendship is all about!"
Amethyst replied, "I know! I wish we could do this every night!"
Sea Swirl asked, "Why can't we?"
Amethyst replied, "What if we were to wake up Colgate and she came up here and caught us?"
Sea Swirl replied, "We were so loud tonight I think that if something like that was going to happen it would have already done so."
Amethyst rolled herself on top of Sea Swirl and said, "Oh this is going to be better than I ever imagined! Every night will be a slice of heaven!" She gave Sea Swirl a deep kiss and continued, "I think we should share the same bed from now on! I want to wrap myself around you every night!"
The two continued to have fun as the night progressed and eventually fell asleep in a tight embrace. When they woke up the sun was just coming above the horizon. They looked deep into one another's eyes and began to kiss. Their muzzles were covered in the other's girlcum and they realized that they needed to shower. They knew that if they went downstairs in the state they were in Colgate would probably throw up and be very upset. They both feared that she may even fire them before they started and they would have to move in with their parents. Amethyst had an idea. She asked, "Hmm....I wonder. I wonder if perhaps we could get Colgate to join us?"
Sea Swirl's folks knew Colgate more than Amethyst's folks know her so she knew her mindset a bit. She replied, "Are you nuts Amethyst? Colgate is as by the book as they come! She would never get involved in something like what we do!" She sighed and continued, "I don't know if she even cares for relationships or physical contact. She seems like the type of pony who likes her personal space."
Amethyst replied, "Well she did put her hoof around me up in Canterlot when she asked me if I wanted to work for her. Maybe she finds me sexy!"
Sea Swirl said, "Amethyst, you know how hot I think you are but chances are she was simply trying to prevent any other dentists from hiring you. She wanted both of us to work for her because we are from Ponyville. I doubt she finds either one of us sexy and I'm not sure if she is into mares anyway."
Amethyst pouted a bit when her new friend with benefits told her this but realized that it was the truth. While both of them found the other incredibly sexy, both found Colgate sexy as well and they knew it. They would wind up having plenty of time together that day as Colgate spends a few hours at the office every Sunday and that night they crawled into bed together and fell asleep in a tight embrace.
Finally Monday had arrived. It was a big day for not just Colgate, but her two new employees as well. For Colgate, it was her grand re-opening after an explosion destroyed her old office and for Amethyst and Sea Swirl, it was their first day at work. It was a cloudy morning so there was no sun to wake the two younger mares up. Around 0700 there was a loud pounding on their door, which caused the two to jump and scream. Amethyst screamed, "Aaah! Colgate, is that you?"
Colgate shouted, "Wake up you two. We have to eat breakfast and get to the office."
Sea Swirl replied, "Ok, we'll be down shortly."
When they heard Colgate walking back down the stairs Amethyst said, "Well Sea Swirl, now I know that we are going to have to go to sleep at a decent time on nights before workdays."
Sea Swirl replied, "I know. Luckily we will still have Friday and Saturday nights when we can stay awake late and have fun!"
Amethyst said, "Yep." She motioned towards the door and continued, "Well we better get downstairs. I have a feeling Colgate is going to be a bit uptight today with it being her grand re-opening."
When they got downstairs they saw a frantic Colgate pacing back and forth waiting for breakfast to get cooked. She saw that the two looked relatively calm and asked, "How can you two be so calm right now? Don't you know how important this day is?"
Amethyst replied, "Yeah we do. I guess we aren't as stressed because we didn't go through the disaster that you went through."
Sea Swirl added, "Yeah, this is your grand re-opening so I understand how important this is to you."
Colgate said, "Well let's hurry up and eat. I want us to get there early so that everything will be perfect when our first patient gets there."
The two decided not to mention anything further as they had no desire to start their first day with Colgate in a bad mood. After the three finished their breakfast they headed to the office. Colgate was giddy and jumping around like a schoolfilly the closer the clock got to 0800. Sea Swirl asked, "Wow Colgate, you're really excited for this, aren't you?"
Colgate pulled both Sea Swirl and Amethyst into a group hug and replied, "Of course I am! You have no idea how long I have been looking forward to this day." The clock read 0800 and Colgate raced to the door. Just as she unlocked it, the first snow of the season began to fall and her first patient, Applejack, came through the door.
Applejack saw Colgate and asked, "Howdy Colgate, how are y'all doing?"
Colgate hugged Applejack and replied, "I'm doing wonderful and seeing that you're my first patient since re-opening makes me even happier!"
Applejack knew that Colgate was so happy because she has always had perfect teeth. She said, "Well Colgate, you never know, with me being your first patient in the new building, it might be good luck."
Colgate laughed, "I certainly hope so. It would make life a whole lot easier."
Amethyst was standing there and asked, "Well Applejack, are you ready to come on back?"
Applejack replied, "You bet I am!"
Amethyst had a bit of a nervous look on her face as she was about to examine a pony's teeth for the very first time outside of the lab in Canterlot. Applejack looked at her name tag and asked, "Amethyst Star, are y'all ok? Y'all seem nervous."
Amethyst replied, "Yeah, I'm ok. It is just that you are the very first pony I will be examining since starting work and I'm nervous I will mess up."
Applejack said, "Oh y'all will be fine. Y'all ain't going to mess up."
Amethyst began to look over Applejack's teeth and saw nothing out of the ordinary except for teeth that were whiter than anypony she examined in the lab up in Canterlot. She said, "Wow Applejack, your teeth are so white! I take it you take good care of them?"
Applejack replied, "Eeyep, Ah take very good care of them. Ah don't want to lose them like Granny Smith did her's."
Amethyst asked, "What caused her to lose her teeth?"
Colgate replied, "Well back when her teeth were starting to get into bad health, there was no dentist here in town and ponies had to go up to Canterlot to see the dentist. Often times we couldn't even afford the train ticket up to Canterlot, much less the cost to see the dentist."
Amethyst said, "Yeah, I remember when I was a very young filly that there was no dentist here and seeing the dentist wasn't all that cheap."
Colgate came around the corner and interrupted, "Amethyst, you need to go get the next patient and bring her back. Besides, I need to take a look at Applejack's teeth."
Amethyst nodded and headed out to the waiting room. Waiting there was her dad, Written Script. She rushed to him, hugged him and said, "Dad! It is so good to see you!"
Written Script replied, "It's so good to see you too my daughter." He knew that her and Sea Swirl both had moved in with Colgate rather than move back in with their parents. He asked, "Amethyst, why did you decide to move in with your boss rather than move back in with your mom and I?"
Amethyst replied, "Well Sea Swirl was going to move in with her and you know how close Sea Swirl and I are. Also, Colgate knew that we wanted to still be able to live in the same place like we did up at the academy so she offered us her upstairs."
Her father sighed, "Oh and how much rent is she charging the two of you? You know you wouldn't have had to pay any rent if you'd moved back home."
Amethyst replied, "Well Colgate lets us live there free of charge. She kind of wanted us to live there anyway so that we could all come to the office at the same time."
Written Script really didn't like that. He grunted, "Oh I see, a controlling boss who wants to make sure you're never late." He looked over at Sea Swirl and asked, "And I take it she is probably making sure you two don't eat any sweets as well?"
Sea Swirl asked, "Why do you ask?"
Written Script replied, "I know how she is. When she had her sister working for her and living with her she did not let her eat sweets except for on one lone occasion when she was really distraught. If Colgate had her way, she would ban sweets altogether and force everypony to drink diet pop."
Amethyst looked up at the clock and said, "Well dad, I better get you back and get you checked out. Colgate despises tardiness even more than she does sweets and if I were to cause her to fall behind schedule, I would be in a lot of trouble."
Written Script followed his daughter back to the chair while Colgate was busy cleaning Applejack's teeth. She began to examine her dad's teeth and everything looked fine. He saw the smile on her face and asked, "I take it things look alright?"
Amethyst replied, "Yeah but Colgate is the one with the fancy spells so she will be able to tell you for sure."
Amethyst realized that Colgate was cleaning Applejack's teeth because she had stayed out in the waiting room talking with her dad. She knew she was probably in trouble but realized that she would need to approach Colgate right away. She headed to her and asked, "Colgate, do you want me to take over?"
Colgate glared at her hygienist and asked, "Amethyst, where were you? How long does it take you to bring back another patient?"
Amethyst replied, "Well you see my dad is our next patient and we got to talking. I just lost track of time."
This did not sit well with her boss. She growled, "Well next time could you bring the patient back on time?" She rolled her eyes and continued, "Good grief, you're going to wind up being as bad as Lyra was, always yapping with patients before bringing them back and causing me to fall behind schedule and you know how I feel about tardiness."
Applejack had never seen Colgate like this before and was becoming nervous. She looked at her patient and continued, "No need to be nervous Applejack. You haven't done anything wrong." She again glared at Amethyst and continued, "Amethyst, finish doing your job while I go take a look at your dad."
Despite falling twenty minutes behind schedule, Colgate was able to get her last patient in and out of the office on time. After she locked the door she gathered her employees together and said, "Well, I think things went by fairly well today. They could have gone better, but hey we finished the day on time."
Sea Swirl asked, "Colgate, how did I do?"
Colgate replied, "Well from what I saw you did fine. You got everypony checked in, you got new appointments scheduled, you got all the payments taken and insurance claims submitted." She then glared at Amethyst and continued, "Amethyst, I know he is your dad but in the future could we please get patients back here on time so we don't fall behind schedule again."
Amethyst looked down and replied, "Yes Colgate, we can."
When they headed home Amethyst felt sad. It really bothered her that she would get talked to in such a matter on her very first day yet she realized that it was her fault. In her mind that evening, she vowed to always get patients taken back on time and if she wanted to have in depth discussions with them, that she would do so after work.
The rest of the week went by much more smoothly for Amethyst, who stayed true to her vow of taking patients back on time. This did cause some patients to view her as a bit distant but not unfriendly. Once they closed on Friday afternoon Amethyst breathed a sigh of relief. She thought to herself, "Finally, a couple of days away from here! Sea Swirl and I can focus on each other."
Colgate saw her standing back in the exam area in a state of thought. She walked up behind her, but her hoof around her and asked, "Amethyst, what's wrong? You usually don't just stand in one place like this."
This caused her to jump slightly. She gasped, "Oh, I'm sorry Colgate. I have just been reflecting on the past week and am looking forward to the weekend. Sea Swirl and I have so many things planned."
Colgate rolled her eyes and continued, "About that. Since I am closing shop for three days next week because of Hearth's Warming, we will be working tomorrow AND Sunday. That isn't going to be a problem, is it?"
Amethyst could tell that Colgate wasn't the biggest fan of Hearth's Warming but knew she was doing this so that her employees could have the holiday off. Amethyst replied, "No, it won't be a problem."
Colgate replied, "Good. Let's get going home. I am tired and hungry. Trust me, when I am tired and hungry you really don't want to see what happens if I get in a foul mood."
They locked up shop and rather than head home Colgate led them to the cafe, which made both of them wonder what was going on. Sea Swirl asked, "Colgate, why are we going to the cafe? You know we can't afford to eat out until we get paid."
Colgate replied, "Since you two will be working over the weekend I am taking you out to eat."
The two hugged Colgate and said, "Thank you Colgate!"
Colgate jumped a bit when they hugged her because Amethyst grabbed her butt. She gasped, "Amethyst, did you just grab my........"
Despite doing it intentionally to try to make her boss want her, she didn't dare admit that she did it on purpose. Amethyst interrupted, "I'm sorry Colgate, I didn't mean to. I hope you can forgive me."
Colgate replied, "There is nothing to forgive so don't worry about it."
While she did not want to mention it, Amethyst grabbing Colgate's butt really turned her on. For most of her life she had always put up this no nonsense attitude. She portrayed herself as a pony who hates relationships and viewed things such as love and sexual attraction as wasteful, frivolous garbage. Amethyst heard her saying something but couldn't quite make it out. She asked, "Colgate, why are you walking behind us and what were you saying?"
Colgate quickened her pace to where she walking right beside them and replied, "Oh, I was just thinking that maybe being open over the weekend might not be the best thing and my thoughts came out my mouth."
Amethyst and Sea Swirl's ears both perked up. Sea Swirl asked, "So are you going to just reschedule all the appointments you have this weekend?"
Colgate replied, "Yeah, I think that would be for the best. Besides, I was doing some deep thinking since we left the office and I don't feel like going in more than five days in a row."
The two got to the cafe and were seated. They both knew how Colgate was and realized that they would probably have to avoid ordering anything sweet. When they ordered the same thing that Colgate did, this shocked her. She said, "Wow girls, after how you reacted the first time you ate meat, I wouldn't think you would order meat. I thought you would probably order something like a flower sandwich and cake."
Amethyst replied, "Well I just wanted to try something new. I figured that if you order things like this, then it is worth trying."
Colgate was captivated by Amethyst's eyes and blurted out without even thinking, "Well I don't blame you for avoiding the cake, there are things out there that are so much sweeter and tastier than cake."
Amethyst asked, "Such as what?"
Colgate realized that she spoke without thinking and was a bit embarrassed. She blushed and replied, "Oh plenty of things, I just can't think of any right now."
Sea Swirl was sitting there quietly trying to keep a straight face as she knew what Colgate meant when she said there were sweeter and tastier things than cake. While she knew that Amethyst was trying to make Colgate want to join them in their trysts she never imagined that she could make the normally calm and collected mare slip up and say something like that.
The rest of their meal went by rather normally as Colgate got herself calmed down and silenced her hormones and the desire they were causing her to have, the desire to get Amethyst into her bed. After supper they headed home and had a rather interesting discussion. Amethyst wanted to know more about Colgate's past. She asked, "Colgate, I hope you don't mind me asking but have you ever been in a relationship before?"
Colgate asked in return, "Why do you ask?"
Amethyst replied, "Well I just think that with you being our boss that we should know more about you and your past."
Colgate had been in relationships with plenty of mares when she lived in Manehattan and Fillydelphia but really didn't want her employees to know. She replied, "Well I never have been much into relationships. I'll admit I've been attracted to a few mares but I was always too shy and nervous to ever approach them."
Sea Swirl asked, "What about stallions? Have there ever been any stallions you liked or do you stick to just mares?"
Colgate replied, "The very idea of hooking up with a stallion makes me want to vomit Sea Swirl. You may not understand it but I only like mares."
Sea Swirl said, "Well I can understand that entirely, I don't care much for stallions either."
Amethyst added, "I'm the same way, I only like mares."
They discussed plenty of other things that evening as well and soon it was 2200. Colgate stretched her front legs and yawned, "Ugh, I didn't know it was getting this late. I don't know about you two, but I'm going to hit the hay. Good night girls."
They wished Colgate a good night as well and as they headed upstairs to their bedroom Amethyst couldn't help but have a giddy smile on her face. Sea Swirl saw this and asked, "Amethyst, what is up with the smile? I've never seen you smile like that before."
Amethyst replied, "I have a feeling that she wants me, that she wants us!" Her breathing got a bit heavier as she continued, "Don't you see how she is calling us girls instead of ladies now? She is being less professional and calling us girls is a sure sign she wants us! She thinks we are sexy!"
Sea Swirl rolled her eyes and replied, "Come on Amethyst, listen to yourself. You are living in a dream........."
Amethyst interrupted, "Don't you go giving me that 'you are living in a dream world.' I have seen how you look at her, how you stare at her butt. You want her just as much as I do. You want us to have threesomes just as much as I do."

The two mares gave each other sheepish grins and realized that they will have to be careful in the future about being loud that soon after Colgate goes to bed. Amethyst said, "Well we better get to bed."
Sea Swirl saw the seductive look she was giving her and replied, "Oh I know what you mean by 'we better get to bed!'" Amethyst shut off the light and since Colgate had put her ear plugs in the two proceeded to do what they like to do most every night, have hot, raunchy fun. Both mares soon hoped though that they would have Colgate joining them. While Colgate did show some signs of cracking earlier that day, getting her to even admit her attraction to them, much less getting her into bed with them would prove to be more difficult.
The following morning arrived with a strange but nasty storm. Lightning and loud thunder woke Amethyst and Sea Swirl up from pleasant dreams. Amethyst replied, "Come on now. You were calling out my and Colgate's names so loud I'm surprised you didn't wake just not her up, but all of Ponyville."
They looked out the window and noticed that heavy snow had began to fall and strong winds had begun to blow. The sound of the wind made the two mares feel as though they were trapped in the only place where they would be safe from the storm, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Amethyst grabbed her friend and asked, "I don't know about you but I'm so cold!"
Sea Swirl replied, "You're not cold! You just wanna have fun, don't you?"
Amethyst giggled, threw herself onto the bed and pulled Sea Swirl on top of her. She said, "Oh you know me too well."
While the two younger mares were having fun, lightning hit a tree not too far away from Colgate's house. The thunder was so loud that it caused Colgate to wake up, even with her ear plugs in. She said to herself, "Thunder, in December?"
She looked out her window and saw the nastiest storm that she had ever seen in her life, and the east coast cities she lived in would have nasty storms. She got up and headed into the kitchen to fix herself some breakfast. Normally her two employees would be up by now but Colgate wasn't overly concerned. Just like she was when Lyra and Pinkamena lived with her, satisfying her own hunger came ahead of that of others.
While she was eating she couldn't help but hear squealing, giggling and moaning coming from upstairs. She figured that with it being the weekend that she would allow her younger employees to have whatever kind of girlish fun they were having. Finally an hour after Colgate finished eating, Amethyst and Sea Swirl came downstairs, covered in the other's girlcum. Colgate gave them a slight glare and asked, "Do you two know what time it is?"
Amethyst looked at the clock on the wall and it read 0830. She gasped, "Oh my goodness Colgate, I didn't know it was this late. We just lost track of time!"
Colgate's slight glare turned into a half-smile as she replied, "Oh I can understand that." She began to laugh a bit and continued, "I take it you two probably only need one bed in there now." On workdays if you must have fun the night before could you please shower?"

Colgate laughed, "Well shit, with all that squealing, moaning and the smell of internal fluids coming from you two how could I not know?" In a more stern voice she continued, "And no Amethyst, I haven't done what you two have done. I don't much care for other ponies touching me, and could you do me a favor? If you must do this on work nights please shower in the morning?"
Amethyst replied, "You're right and you know we always shower in the mornings!" She looked over towards the stove and asked, "So Colgate, what's for breakfast?"
Colgate sighed, "Had you two came down here when you normally would have, it would have been eggs, sausage, bacon, toast and cider but since you got up late you'll have to scrounge around for something yourselves." She headed towards the door and continued, "Well I'm headed to Sweet Apple Acres to get some more eggs." She gave the two a slight look of approval and finished, "And could you two wash that cum off of yourselves before sitting on any of my furniture?"
The two nodded yes as Colgate headed out into the storm and slammed the door behind her. Amethyst said, "Damn, what a grouch!"
Sea Swirl asked, "Amethyst, with the way she is are you sure you would want her to eventually join us? I doubt she ever would so I think we should just quit dreaming and stick to each other."
Amethyst pouted, "But maybe she'll change eventually." She raised her voice and continued, "Come on Sea Swirl, we both think she is hot....."
Sea Swirl interrupted, "But didn't you see how she was about us being covered in each other's cum? How she demanded that we wash before we even touch her furniture?"
Amethyst sighed, "Yeah, you're right. We'll just stick to each other."
The two headed up to shower before fixing their breakfast, which would be more like a brunch. There wasn't a whole lot for them to eat that morning since Colgate had finished off all the eggs. This frustrated the two but they realized that if they didn't want to run the risk of having a limited choice of food at breakfast, that they should get down to the kitchen sooner.
Colgate headed from her house towards Sweet Apple Acres to get some eggs but couldn't help but wonder why her employees were acting the way they were. She got an odd look on her face and asked, "Oh hi Colgate, what brings you in today?"
Colgate replied, "Well, I really need to ask you for some advice involving my employees."
Rarity asked, "Why me? What could I possibly know?"
Colgate replied, "Alright, well this is kind of odd. I'm not sure you know this or not but Amethyst Star and Sea Swirl work for me and live with me. They have begun to engage in some rather odd activities here lately. They are great workers but I heard them squealing, giggling and moaning this morning and then they have the audacity to come downstairs covered in one another's bodily fluids."
Rarity asked, "What is so bad about that? Is it wrong for marefriends to have raunchy fun?"
Colgate replied, "That isn't what has me so irritated. It is that they had the audacity to come downstairs soaked in cum and what really makes me wonder what is going on is Amethyst giving me bedroom eyes and using a seductive tone of voice talking to me."

Colgate went running out of the boutique and continued to head towards the farm. She then had another thought cross her mind. She wondered if the more rational thinking Twilight might know. She did know that if she asked her to research it and take a more academic approach to the issue that she could get the answers she needed, so she headed towards the library. Once she got there she knocked on the door and quickly Twilight answered. She asked, "Hi Colgate, how's it going?"
Colgate replied, "Well they could be going better." She looked inside and asked, "May I come in? I have some questions and I am wondering if you have any books that could help me answer them."
With Colgate wanting to do some research, naturally this caused Twilight to be ecstatic. She replied, "Come on in! I'll even fix us a mid-morning snack."
Colgate thanked Twilight and followed her inside. Twilight asked, "So Colgate, what are you wanting to do research on?"
Colgate replied, "Well it involves Amethyst and Sea Swirl and something they did this morning."
Twilight nodded and went, "Mmm....hmmm"
Colgate continued, "Well when I was eating breakfast I heard them up in their room giggling, moaning and squealing so I figured they were doing something strange."
Twilight nodded and again said, "Mmm...hmmm"
Colgate continued, "Well they then came down for breakfast an hour late but they were soaked in the other's internal fluids."
Twilight was stunned by this. She gasped, "They did what?"
Colgate replied, "Yep, they came down soaked in the other's fluids. Then what was even stranger is that Amethyst started giving me bedroom eyes and speaking to me in a very seductive tone of voice."
Twilight asked, "What did she say when she used that tone of voice?"
Colgate replied, "Well when they came down I smelled the fluids on them and asked them if they could please wash on work mornings. Sea Swirl asked how I could know what they were doing and I let them know I knew because of the noises and smell." Colgate's reply was starting to turn into a rant as she continued, "And then Amethyst has the audacity to ask me if I have engaged in the activities that they did in the past!" She calmed down and asked, "Do you have any psychology books or something that would help me understand what is going through their minds?"
Twilight laughed, "Are you really that ignorant Colgate? I can tell by what you said that Amethyst wants you and I have a feeling that Sea Swirl wants you too."
Colgate had a confused look on her face. She asked, "Are you saying that they want me sexually?"
Twilight replied, "I was reading a book about pony psychology and sexual thoughts and there was a section about that type of behavior." She levitated the book down from the shelf and asked, "Would you like to read it?"
Colgate replied, "Of course!"
While Colgate was reading through that section Twilight made some nachos for the two. She brought them in and Colgate thanked her. As Colgate continued to read through the section the look on her face continued to grow more and more pale as she wondered why anypony would have thoughts like that run through their mind. Twilight saw this and asked, "Colgate, are you ok?"
Colgate emptied her mouth of a cheese covered chip and replied, "Yeah. I just don't understand how such thoughts could run through anypony's mind."
Twilight said, "I don't either. Of course I have never had thoughts like that run through my mind and my desires don't involve such things."
Colgate replied, "It sounds like we have the same mindset. I'll admit I did find a few mares at the dental academy attractive but I was always too shy and scared to even approach them. Besides, I eventually discovered they were into stallions so it wouldn't have done me any good anyway."
Twilight gave Colgate a hug and said, "I know how you feel. Before I became a princess I found Cheerilee very attractive so I grabbed her and kissed her. Well she told me that she didn't like mares and slugged me." Twilight began to tear up remembering this. She sobbed, "I just wish I could find somepony that would want me, but no mare here wants me.
While normally Colgate would think somepony who would cry over such a thing was weak, she couldn't help but feel bad for the sobbing princess. Colgate then did something completely out of character. She muzzled Twilight and said, "It's ok Twilight. I'm here if you need to talk."
This really confused Twilight. She knew that Colgate liked her personal space but decided that if Colgate was going to muzzle her, that she would let her. Colgate pulled back and continued, "Thank you for letting me do that research. Maybe I will know how to handle those two now." She looked towards the door and continued, "Well I better get going. I need to go buy some eggs and bacon from Applejack before I go home."
By this point the storm was much worse than it was before. The lightning was flashing worse than ever, the snow was falling so heavily that a pony couldn't even see three feet in front of their face and the wind was howling at record speeds. Twilight grabbed her and asked, "Are you sure you want to go out in that? I don't want you getting hit by lightning or getting lost in the snow."
Colgate replied, "I'll be fine. Besides, I'm sure that you and Spike have studying planned for later today anyway."
Twilight said, "Actually he is away on royal business in Canterlot so I'll be alone for several days."
This changed Colgate's mindset. She replied, "Alright, I'll take you up on your offer. Besides, I really didn't want to have to go out in this with as bad as it has gotten."
Twilight was ecstatic upon hearing this. While she never would have admitted this, she found Colgate more than attractive, she found her incredibly hot. Unfortunately for her, Colgate was always oblivious to how she watched her so closely when she went to her appointments. Given her no nonsense, business first attitude this did not surprise her. She was thinking to herself that perhaps the bad storm and with it just being the two of them that she could create an atmosphere that would make it easy for Colgate to be seduced.
Twilight and Colgate sat in the living room discussing how life had been treating them and talked about how severe the storm had become. Twilight asked, "Colgate, what do you normally do when it storms like this?"
Colgate replied, "Well if I'm not working I tend to be the type to stare out the window and watch the storm. I have always been like that, I just find myself attracted to bad weather." She then began to laugh and continued, "I remember how mom would always yell 'Colgate, get away from that window, you're going to get struck by lightning!'"
Twilight said, "That sounds a whole lot like my brother. He was always attracted to storms like that." Twilight's voice became uneasy as she continued, "I am the total opposite, I like to sit back, enjoy a good book and drink hot chocolate."
Colgate could sense the uneasiness in Twilight's voice and asked, "Twilight, why so uneasy all of a sudden. You act like you aren't completely sure of what you said."
Twilight replied, "Well I will admit, sometimes I wish I had somepony to hold me close during storms like this." She gave Colgate a seductive smile and continued, "I would give almost anything to have a sexy mare to get hot and heavy with during storms like this."
Colgate remembered how Twilight had mentioned that such activities and desires do not cross her mind and decided to call her out on it. She asked, "But Twilight, I thought you said earlier today that those kinds of things don't cross your mind nor do you desire such things."

She smiled at Twilight and asked, "Twilight, I really don't feel like having to go home to Amethyst and Sea Swirl tonight. Could I stay with you since Spike is gone?"
Twilight was ecstatic upon hearing this. She jumped on Colgate and replied, "Of course you can!"
