The life of a DJ earth pony from Rainbow Falls who is offered a chance to drop bass with Vinyl. He also meets Fluttershy and Sunset Shimmer who fall in love with him.

Rush has to choose between Sunny and Shy and they won't make it easy for him. But he has to choose between them on the hearts and hooves day music competition which is set up by the one and only DJ Pon3. Rush however doesn't really have a clue on understanding mares. They're just so complicated!
