"Excuse me," Tiberius said to the Pegasus, "would you mind where you're going, you almost ran into me." The Pegasus turned to face Tiberius and smiled sheepishly.

"Eh, sorry I guess I didn't see you there." She explained, "Name's Rainbow Dash, fastest flyer in Equestria."

'Great,' Tiberius thought to himself, 'an egomaniac'. "Pleasure to meet you I'm Tiberius Horatius Nero." He said introducing himself for the third or fourth time that day. "By the way, why are you in such a hurry?" Tiberius asked wondering why she was going so fast like the way she was.

"I'm training for the Wonderbolts," Rainbow dash explained, "I gotta perfect my moves if I'm going to impress them." Tiberius had heard of the Wonderbolts, a team made up solely of pegesi who perform all sorts of areal tricks, not unlike the Blue Angles of the US, or the Knights of Jupiter back in Rome. And he had to admit, this pegasus seemed to have what it takes, though her ego could use a little work.

"Well please be careful next time, you may hurt someone." Tiberius said pointing out the fact that she almost hit him.

"Don't worry" Rainbow Dash said, "I usually don't run into ponies, or people in your case." Tiberius was satisfied with that and decided to continue onward.

"Wait!" Rainbow Dash flew toward the romans at record speed. "You guys never told me why you're here." Tiberius was beginning to get annoyed with explaining to ~~everyone~~ everypony why he was here.

"Well me and my friend here were sent here because our government wanted me to serve as the official roman ambassador to Princess Twilight Sparkle." Tiberius said in almost one breath.

"So you guys are here for Twilight?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Yes, are you friends with her?" Tiberius asked seeing as she didn't refer to the princess by her title as most of the populace would do.

"Yeah, she's a bit of an egghead but still." Tiberius wasn't sure if he was hearing right, but he was sure that this mare just called a member or royalty an 'egghead', but decided to drop it for now. She was friends with the princess after all, and it could help with his duties. As the three of them walked (the romans were walking, Rainbow Dash just hovered alongside them) Tiberius and Rainbow Dash talked about Princess Twilight and the rest of her friends. Tiberius found out that the two mares he met earlier were also friends with the princess.

"Well, I better get back to training," Rainbow Dash said, "see ya." And with that she flew off toward the clouds to continue her training, leaving Tiberius and Markus to continue on.

"Well she's quite a character isn't she?" Tiberius said turning to Markus, who was still looking where the pegasus went.

"Markus?" Tiberius tried to get his indentured servant's attention.

"Sir," Markus said finally responding, "That Pegasus..."

"Yes what about her?" Markus turned his head to his superior.

"I think I'm in love." With that Tiberius chuckled as they continued on their way. Soon they found themselves on the other side of town where a house sat right next to a rather dark looking forest. Out of the house came a butter yellow Pegasus mare with a light pink mane and tail, wearing a green sweater (even though it's 60 degrees out), and blue jeans. The Pegasus didn't seem to notice the two romans heading her way.

"Hello." Tiberius said to the mare startling her.

"Eep, oh, hello," The yellow Pegasus said in a very quiet tone. "You must be new to Ponyville."

"That's correct, I'm Tiberius Horatius Nero, and this is my servant, Markus."

"I-im Fluttershy." the Yellow mare said in a slightly less timid voice.

"A pleasure to meet you Miss." Tiberius said. "Say, you wouldn't happen to be friends with Princess Twilight are you?"

"How did you know that" Fluttershy asked surprised by his question.

"Well considering that me and Markus have already met some of the princess's friends I just guessed you are friends with her too." Tiberius explained.

"Oh, I see." Fluttershy said looking at the ground. "Why yes, I am friends with Twilight, she's the smartest and kindest pony I ever knew. After some time talking to Fluttershy, Tiberius and Markus went back to the villa.

"Damn it, why are the lights out?" Tiberius said as they walked in that main room which was dark save for what light was left coming through the windows. "Markus, find the lightswitch." Before eather of them could do anything however the lights suddenly came on again.

"SURPRISE!" came a chorus of voices. Both romans looked to see a large gathering of People and Ponies, some of whom they saw earlier.

"Surprise!" a pink earth mare jumped out of nowhere and greeted the two romans. Tiberius then noticed that this was the same mare they met right after Applejack. Now he got a good look at her. She was pink with a dark pink mane and tail that reminded Tiberius of candy floss, she wore a white tanktop with a blue jacket, as well as a pink skirt.

"What is going on here?" Markus asked just as bewildered as Tiberius.

"This is your 'Welcome to Ponyville' party." She said as if it were obvious.
