Hello, My name is Sam. I have been alive for sixteen and a half freaking years to this day in March of 2015, and I've considered suicide as an escape from my sad reality multiple times, though sanely declining each thought of it. Who knew that all that sanity-wearing dreamless sleep was going to finally pay me back after all these years... with a peaceful sleep death after school caused by a combination of malnutrition and sleep deprivation, which lead to something far more amazing than I could have ever imagined. I was living my favorite television show.

This story is placed around sixteen years after Stellar Nova's arrival in Equestria after her death on earth, and relies on an internally developed theory that luna may not have been the only one affected by an evil spirit created from the darkest thoughts of the mind, Celestia having a weaker, yet similarly created, spirit residing within herself, and was able to banish it from herself along with the rest of Equestria using a special spell to send it off to a seperate, unknown dimension. the soul was unable to do anything until the initial Nightmare Moon incident, of which gave it power that eventually helped the spirit enter the body of a newborn human, under the hopes of manifesting power while in control of the child. Instead of taking control, however, the spirit became trapped within the boy, still able to manifest power but trapped within a prison of its own creation. The story starts off during the spirit's final preperations to break the dimensionally binding spell and return to its homeland to wreak havoc, only to be stopped by the fact that the soul of the boy has become practically welded to the spirit and takes primary control in any physical form that is posessed by the spirit, allowing the spirit to create a new body by whatever means yet taking control over it in the end. Enough freaking explaining let's get to the story already for pete's sake!

I will gladly accept improvements to the storytelling in any way possible, so if you happen to drop by for a read, and you see area for improvement or clarification or such, revise the freakin' thing and I'll thank you to no end. This isn't my first story (I've written stories before, not on this site, and never really gone far with them), but I hope to make it my best story, not to mention my longest also.

I've noticed my story has struck several badfic groups, so all I can do is make the promise that I am DEFINITELY adding unique twists... after I get through with the "introductions and adjusting to life" parts of the book. Whatever, nobody would believe me anyway.

Interesting Fact: Samuel is my actual name and the first few events of the story (pre-sleep-death, at least) are actually autobiographically accurate, all the way down to the shadow swoop (which I think was caused by a bird flying overhead) and happened marely DAYS before I decided to write this. Every time I have the main character do something, I try to think of what I would do, as the fiction fans off of an autobiography of a specific day in my life. And I'm NOT a socialite. Not excessively shy in any specific way, just... not the most social person. I used to be worse, but don't mind that. If this fanfiction I'm writing turned true for me somehow (in my dreams, of which I have none), I'd go fanfilly as soon as I realized what happened.

3/8/16 Hiatus change: I'm more worried about getting out of high school with passing grades right now than getting progress done on a hobbyist fanfiction that I wrote on a series of whims to start with. My second Senior year semester has been a lot more pressing than my first/last semester. For that highly limited fanbase that looked upon me, eager for a new chapter for so long, I'm sorry.
