The Man with the Hidden Past

Author's Note: Friends on steam arn't doing anything. If any of my readers would like to add me as a friend on there, go ahead. I accept pretty much everyone. Just let me know first. And seriously, I'm running low on ideas for this story. Any at all would be good. As long as it isn't completely unreasonable I'll probably consider it at least.

PS: FUCK. I KNOW I WAS WEEKS LATE. I JUST COULDN'T THINK OF ANYTHING. -music helps me apparently- Plus people kept bothering me about my damn birthday.

I was walking through the town for about 5 minutes before I saw about 6 gaurds heading in my direction.

"I was wondering where you all where!" I yelled at them. They all jumped and looked in my direction. The one in the front pointed at me and they all ran. I just turned around and slowly walked away.

"By the order of Princess Celestia, we command you to halt!" I heard one say.

I turned to look at them and put my hand to my chin and looked at the sky. "Hmm... Nah."

Apparently, that's a good way to piss off gaurds because they all started to run faster. I turned around again and started to walk into an alleyway. On turning into it, I noticed the gaurds out of the corner of my eye. They where about 10 yards away from me. I took this as an opportunity and slipped out of my jacket. I folded it up neatly and flew up onto a roof to watch the ponies. Once they where in the alley, I flew down behind them and stepped out. I noticed a rock at the bottom of the entrance and decided to kick it at the gaurd at the end.

"Eh, why not have some more fun while I'm at it?" I thought.

The pony quickly looked around at me and alerted the others of me. I took off at a slow jog until I heard them catching up to me. I turned around and ran backwards after I heard some of them take to the skies. I then noticed what they are. Three where Pegasi, two where Unicorns, and the last one was an Earth pony.

"Aw... Come on, this isn't a fair fight!" I yelled at them. I noticed the one of the pegasi had a smirk after I said that.

"I can easily take you all without a problem!" I said. The pegasus lost that smirk of his quick. I then turned back around and spread my wings. "But alas, I must go annoy your princess. So I must bid you, adieu." I said before I took of with my trail following behind. After I made sure I lost the gaurds I landed beside a tree I put my jacket back on and lied down at the base and looked for the Palace. It looked about a mile or two away.

"Damn. Night here is way better than at home..." I said looking at all the stars. "It's the most beautyful night I've ever seen."

I heard the sound of wings nearby. "Who are you, and what do you want." I said without even bothering to look.

"I am Princess Luna, I'm on my nightly flight. I noticed you looking at the sky and decided to say hi." I heard.

"Luna eh? That's Latin for moon I think. I think that's a good name. Way better than some others. Like, seriously. Who names their kid Twilight Sparkle? Fucking stupid." I said still looking up at the night sky.

"Yeah, some ponies' names can be quite stupid." she said with a small chuckle. I heard her walk over to me and lie down. I sneaked a glance at her and noticed it was an alicorn like Celestia.

"Hey, you don't happen to know someone named Celestia do you?" I asked. She looked at me with a confused look.

"Yeah, she's my sister, why?" she asked.

"Oh... no reason. She's only trying to either kill me or put me in prison for the rest of my life."

"WHAT?! WHY WOULD SHE DO THAT!?" she screemed at me.

"I may or may not have killed like, 5 of her gaurds and accidentaly threatened 6 ponies." I said casually.

"YOU DID WHAT?!"

"Hey, they attacked me first! Exept that one I dropped a couch on. He never knew I was there." I said chuckling at the last part.

"Ugh... I should throw you in prison right now." she said rubing her temples. Do horses even have those? Eh, I don't care.

"Then why don't you?" I asked sitting up to look at her.

"Because. Your the only one who didn't run or care if I sat by you and talked." She said looking down at her hooves.

"And I can answer why I didn't run. It's because I don't give a shit what you did. I've killed a manticore, 5 gaurds, 2 Dog things, and severly injured one and I wasn't even trying for any of them. As for why I talked, I have no idea. I think it has something to do with the night. I always did feel better at night." I said looking back up at the stars.

"Yeah, my stary night makes a lot of ponies feel better." She said looking up at the stars.

"Yeah, I guess that makes sence." I said.

"What does?"

"That its your night, and your name is Luna."

"Hm, I never really thought about it like that." she said looking back up at the stars.

"Yeah.. it's a habit of mine to over-think things. Oh! I forgot my leather jacket! I'll be right back." I said as I got up.

"Where is it? I'll take you there." Luna offered.

"Nah, I don't think you'd like my place. It has the manticore I mentioned before acting as a bed. Now sit there if ya want. I'll be back in about one or two minutes." I said turning to the tree.

"How are you gonna get it and be back that fast? We're miles away from any towns." she said.

"I live in a cave. I made a mistake and ran out of Ponyville. And I can travel by shadow." I say before walking into the tree's shadow. All Luna saw was a darker shadow go flying by, and a minute later, it came right back.

"See? Barely over a minute." I said as I took off my jacket and folded it, and put on my leather one. "Here. Catch. Just give it back to me at the palace." I said as I tossed her it. I then poked my wings through the cleanly cut holes in my jacket. I must have looked kinda funny from Luna's perspective because she asked what I was doing.

"I'm trying to get my wings though the holes they made before instead of having them make new ones. I happen like this jacket."

"Why, you have magnificent wings! I've only seen that type on bats and my night gaurds."

"I know, awesome right? Well, either way. I'm gonna be at the palace waiting for you. Or we could race. However, you have magic so it wouldn't be exactly fair."

"Race? It's been a while since I've had one of those... Sure. I accept your challenge."

"Ok then. On the count of three... One, Two... Three!" I said before I took off with a large boom. I looked to my left and saw Luna keeping up. I turned over on my back and have a quick wave. She noticed me and had a face of shock.

"How are you going such speeds without effort?!" she yelled.

"With very large wings. Nust help aan lot" I said remembering the Keizaal dovah language.

"So you can speak dragon? But that language hasn't been used in centuries! How did you learn of it?" she asked.

"Let's see how well her knowledge of it is shall we?" I though with a grin on my face.

"Hin mother" I replied.

"Well that's not very nice."

"I know. That's why I said it. It's kinda strange how the language exists though. Where I'm from it's from a game. Then again, where I'm from, this world was just a cartoon made for little girls... I wonder what would happen if I use a Thu'um... I'll test it later. Wait! I know one I would just love to try right now."

"WULD NAH KEST!"

I burst ahead in a sudden burst of speed. I heard another boom and saw everything fade away from me. I tryed to stop and slowly started to see everything re-appear. It was different though. It was all stone work and fancy banners.

"Fuck. I somehow appeared in the palace." Suddenly, I felt a large pain in my chest and fell to my knees coughing. "Note to self: Using Thu'ums hurt like hell." I heard the clopping of hooves to my right. I stopped coughing after a while and looked at the source.

"Of course it's you. Who else would I expect?" I said.

I ignored the pain in my chest and stood up to my full height. "Well? Ya got me. Watcha gonna do? Kill me? Go ahead. I got nothin' to lose besides some respect from your little pony friends. But I doubt I have any. And killing me, also hurts your elements too."

"Yes, I regret bringing you here now. But as the spell I used was a one way thing, I can't send you back. But answer me this before I kill you. How will killing you hurt the elements?" Celestia said.

"One, is because they're very friendly with everyone, and my loss with sadden them. Plus 2 of them I can confirm have a crush so to speak, on me." I said as I spread my wings. "If I'm gonna die, I'll take the American way out."

"What's that?" she asked.

"Fighting and dieing for a cause. Just as many men before me. I will die for my cause. That, Is the American way. And my cause... Is to free the people here of me. Be happy that I don't plan on winning." I said before I charged right at her and stopped right in front of her. I gave her a hard punch to the face while she was caught off-gaurd. The punch sent her staggering back a few feet. She quickly got up and spread her wings. She bolted straight for me with her horn lowered to stab me with it. I was expecting this.

"Tiid Clo Ul!"

Everything stopped. "Damn! That one hurt." I said as I fell on my hands and knees coughing up some blood. I used my wings to help me up. I then jogged over to Celestia and used a wing to cut a near 3 inch gash over her right eye. I made sure it didn't cut the eye itself. I then flew up above Celestia and landed on her back. I then relaxed while everything started to move again. I felt Celestia running under me. She stopped all of a sudden to look for where I went. I meanwhile, was thrown straight into a wall by her sudden stop.

"How comical... I have no idea why I didn't expect that to happen." I said as I picked myself up off the ground. Celestia heard me and charged at me again. This time I just stood there. And started to sing.

"If tomorrow all the things were gone
I'd worked for all my life
And I had to start again
With just my children and my wife

I'd thank my lucky stars
To be living here today
'Cause the flag still stands for freedom
And they can't take that away

And I'm proud to be an American
Where at least I know I'm free

'Cause there ain't no dou-" I sang until she stabbed me in my right lung.

"Hehe... Fuck you bitch..." I choked out before my vision was swallowed by darkness.
