The Man with the Hidden Past

"Hey, what's this?" I asked myself as I found a piece of paper in my hoof. I quickly unfolded it to see what it said. It had some strange circle with symbols everywhere inside it. I read what it said and got an idea.

"Come to me, from Distance Far, To serve your new Master, where ever they Are." Soon, the peice of paper started to spark and a small rectangle with a wire that broke off into two small peices rose out of the center. As soon as it stopped sparking. I quickly picked it up and turned it on.

"What's that? And what did you do?" Rainbow asked me.

"I think I just summoned an MP3." I said as I went through the songs... Some pretty good ones actually.

"What's an MP3?"

"It plays music. Here." I said as I handed Rainbow the earbuds. "Put them in your ears." I instructed. As soon as she did I started to flip through for a song she might like.

"Umm... How about this?" I asked her. She seemed fine with it.

"Ok then. You have fun with that. If ya want another song or something just holler." I said. She quickly waved me off with her hoof as her head bobbed to the music.

"Hmm... I should practice making that summoning circle. First, I need some blood. Wait, that tree had a small pool of Rainbow's blood. Hopefully it hasn't been absorbed or evaporated." I said as I walked over to the tree. I looked in to see it still there and in liquid form.

"Ok... I need to clear a spot to use." I said to myself as I found a flat clearing nearby.

< Fire > I saw the bright red fire form in my hoof. I thrust it forward to spray the bright red fire across the clearing. Clearing it of any grass, weeds, and plant life. I took out the paper and got a good look at it. I then went back to the tree and dipped a hoof in the blood. I ran back over to my clearing on three legs and started to work. I was about half way done before I was interupted.

"Yo Flame! Can I get some help over here?" Rainbow called. I quickly ran over to see what was wrong.

"What's the matter?" I asked in a panic, thinking something was attacking again.

"The song ended. Can you put on another please?" Rainbow asked me.

"Hehe... Sure. What ya want?"

"Umm... Something fast."

"Fast? Yeah, I think I can find one." I said before going through the songs. "Umm... How 'bout this?" I offered.

"Seems good. Thanks man." she said before putting the headphones in her ears. I jogged back to my work place and found that the blood in the tree is almost gone.

"Damn." I said to myself. I turned my head to check on Rainbow and saw she was slowly nodding off to sleep. "Ermm... Rainbow comes first. I'll go get a new source later." I said to myself before I walked back over to Rainbow. She was softly snoring with her mouth barly open. I noticed something in her mouth. Well, somethings. I slowly put a hoof to her top lip and lifted it slightly. I found two slightly larger canines.

"...Shit." I said before closing her mouth and lightly slapping her face to see if she was asleep. I got a couple murmers and her hoof swatting at mine.

"Good 'nough." I said to myself before moving down to her dislocated leg. I grabbed the bottom with one hoof and her hip with the other. I gave a couple deep breaths to calm myself. Once I was ready, I yanked them appart. I also woke up Rainbow. And she screems LOUD. After ignoring the pain in my ear, I slowly started to put the leg back in it's right place.

< WHY DIDN'T I KNOCK HER OUT?! > I thought as I was starting to feel sorry for her. I then remembered the splint I was making. I ran over and grabbed the stick and went to the towel I was using to clean Rainbow's wounds. I then ran over, set the splint, and started to tie the towel aroundvrainbow's leg so the splint would stay in place.

"Ok, Rainbow. Shh... I need you to be quiet so I can think ok?" I said as I tryed to calm her. She gave me a quick nod and tried to quiet down.

< Ok... Rainbow's becoming a vampire. I'm to blame. But I didn't bite her. FUCK.... It must be transmited when my blood gets into another pony's bloodstream. It must've happened when she accidently swallowed some of my blood. Even though it was kinda funny, I seriously gotta fix this. Umm... Maybe Luna? God I hope she'll understand. I don't wanna die again. But first, I gotta explain this to Rainbow. Wait, no I don't. I just have to knock her out, get Luna here before she wakes up, and then fix it. Yeah... That'll do. But how do I knock her out... >

I found a rather large rock nearby < Nah. That'll kill her > Large stick < Not heavy enough > A tree < J-just no. > Same large stick as before < Perfect! > I picked it up and aimed. And threw it a bit to hard. It hit her with an audible CRACK! as the stick split in half and Rainbow fell to the side. I ran over to see a small pool of blood forming.

"Fuuuck... Now I wanna go lick that up." I said to myself as my fangs protracted. I quickly ran over to the sack and pulled out the blanket. I cut off a peice with my mane and went over to Rainbow. I tied it around her head to stop the bleeding. After I saw the bleeding slow, I spread my wings and flew towards Luna's. I figured flying in her window would attract gaurds so I flew down to the front gates.

"Halt! Who goes there?" one of the royal gaurds so kindly greeted.

< The harbringer of Doom! > "Flame Heart. I have a meeting with Princess Luna." I said.

"Nopony see's the Princess!" The gaurd yelled.

"Ok... but before I go. What's that over there?!" I yelled pointing in some random direction away from the gate.

"Where?!" The gaurd yelled before looking. While he was distracted, I quickly used my wings to give me enough of a boost to jump over the gate.

"Hey! Where'd you go?" I heard the gaurd yell from the other side. I stayed quiet as I made my way up to the front doors. Doors that would have been great for me had I still been human. Soon, I heard a large amount of hoofsteps coming in my direction. I quickly pushed open a door and tried to close it as quietly as I could. After listening for footsteps I turned around and was confronted by about 20 gaurds.

"Ummm.... Hi?" I said before walking towards them.

"Halt!" one yelled before they all held a spear to my neck.

"Oh please. You think these will do anything? Now. I demand you release me at once!"

"We will do no such thing!"

"-sigh- Fine. I guess I'll have to fight you." I said as I looked down.

"Fight? Us? You wouldn't stand a chance! That's a death wish!" A gaurd yelled.

"On the contrary. I beleive it is you who has the death wish here. But, I don't want to become a wanted criminal again. So I'll just leave."I said.

< Shadows > I thought as I felt my form spread to the nearest shadows. I felt as the gaurds' spears ran through the spot I was in. I quickly ripped the spears out of all the gaurds' hooves and stuck them all into the ceiling where they couldn't reach them.

"Ah ah ah... Don't want anyone to get hurt now do we?" I taunted. I decided that the gaurds had had enough so I quickly just picked them all up and threw them in a corner before making my way to Luna's room. After climbing a REALLY tall tower in the shadows, I finally reached Luna's room. I quickly got out of the shadows and knocked. When it opened I quickly looked behind Luna. I saw the moon.

"There a reason your door is a portal to the moon?" I asked.

"Yes, but that surely isn't the reason you came."

"Yeah... I may have accidently figured out how to turn someone into a vampire. And I need to get her medical attention." I said as I started to think of all the other things that would need fixing.
