This story follows the life of Silver Lining, a 11 year old filly who moved from the elegant life of Canterlot to the simple life of Ponyville.

This filly must learn to adapt to this new life and make new friends. But as he gets older, he is exposed to things he never came in contact with in Canterlot. All the sex, drugs and social problems catch up to him in high school and his life goes downhill as an adult.

But even through all this, he's destined to become a detective and will stop at nothing to do so.
Even it if it means giving up something big.
