After helping the Justice League Unlimited in 'Premier,' The Avengers return back to their own world. There, they use all of their newly acquired knowledge, skills, and attitudes along with things the JLU bequeathed to them as gifts, like one Krypto the Superdog, to fight against several super-powerful global upheavals.

After besting the last such upheaval, they discover that the chaos plaguing their world is the product of a single mastermind and teleport to his spaceship to discover none other than The Mad Titan, Thanos!

However, before they can land a single blow, the spaceship makes a jump to a completely different world and Thanos teleports away seconds before the ship's self destruct countdown begins.

Thinking quickly, The Avengers take a portal to this new world, but find most of themselves now possessing the bodies of strange, technicolor equines, and finding it difficult to adapt.

To confound matters, a now Minotaurized Thanos crashes a lovely picnic between Shining Armor and Cadence and demands knowledge on how to bend the Crystal Heart's power to his will.

Now, The Avengers must overcome their team's new found limitations and team up with Shining Armor to save The Crystal Empire and all of Equis from Thanos's dark machinations.
