Chapter 6

While I was moping down the street to get to Ditzys house I had plenty of things running through my mind. Like don’t even go it’s not worth it, I’ll have a heart attack if I even see her. “Ahhh!” what am I going to do I thought in my head. But before I even knew it I was on trotting lane, there were about twenty or so homes on this street. It was on the outskirts of ponyville but it was still in ponyville.

As I started to walk down the street I was looking around at the different houses. A couple stood out from others but other than a few decorations or flowers they were about the same as the others. Then I saw the house number 301 and I knew I was close because it was just on the other side of the street but before I looked over I stopped and thought what if she was standing there what would I do.

Once I finally got up the nerve to turn around I saw the house. It was sort of worn out and not taken care of like the others but then I remembered that she wasn’t always able to be home all of the time because of her job. Wait a minute if she works all the time what does she do with Dinky? I had to know what she did with her daughter so I walked up to the house not trying to draw any attention to me but I don’t why I did that there was no one around.

Once I got up to the front door I leaned over to see if I could see in the window and I could. I was looking into the living room. It wasn’t messy but it was a little dusty. She had a couch with a small table sitting in front of it and there was a chair beside the couch that sat in the corner other than that all I saw was one small toy sitting in the center of the room. By the way it looked it was rather old and then it hit me. She works all day just to keep a roof over their heads and food in the refrigerator.

Once I realized that I could feel my eyes starting to get teary. I knew I had to help her but how. The only way I could do anything without being in direct contact with her was give her money. With Dinkys birthday coming up I wanted her to be able to get Dinky whatever she wanted so I knew I had a lot of hard work headed my way.

After I left I remembered Apple Jack said I would be perfect for down on the farm. Alright now I have to go have a talk with Apple Jack to see if I can get a job there. As I walked done the lonely road to Sweet Apple Acres I realized what an amazing day it was. Not a cloud in the sky, it was warm, and there was a slight cool breeze blowing across my body.

Once I made it to Sweet Apple Acres I saw Apple Jack down in the orchard bucking trees. Once she hit the trees with such force all the apples dropped out right into the buckets at the bottom waiting to be filled with the red delicious sweet apples. As I started to walk up to her she noticed I was heading her way. Before I was even ten feet away from her she said, “Hi ya Andrew what ya ah donin down here in these parts of the woods?” “Hi Apple Jack I was wondering if you needed any help here at the farm?” I asked rubbing the back of my head. “Yeah we could always use some help here at the farm.” She said in an outburst. “So does that mean I’m hired?” I asked twiddling my thumbs. “Of course, you can even start right now ifin you would like to.” She said and I just nodded my head.

I grabbed a bucket and I saw a leather strap sitting in the wagon sitting there. I grabbed it and tied it in the loops of the bucket and put it around my neck and I let in hang over on my side. After a couple of hours of picking. I saw that I was actually keeping up with if not passing Apple Jack. With all the things she had to do to get ready to buck the tree I was usually half way done the tree. Then after she bucked the tree and was picking up the apple that didn’t make it into the bucket I was dumping mine in the wagon and headed to the next one. As I got to the next one she dumped hers into the wagon and then started to bring the buckets over to the tree. So I was sure but I think I might have been ahead of her.

The sun was now going down trying to disappear behind the mountains. “Well we’re done fer the day, and I must say Andrew you are good with apples. I figured you would be slow but there were a couple of times you passed me there and no one has ever done that before so I think hiring you was a good idea. Oh and I don’t pay weekly I pay Daily.” After she said that all I did was hook myself to the wagon because I could tell she was tired. I took the leather strap from the bucket and made what looked like two shoulder holsters and I tied it to the wagon and put it on. “Umm Andrew I don’t think you will be able to pull it to the barn.” All I did was look at her and grinned.

Once I started to pull it wasn’t moving then I leaned forward a bit to get a better bite in the grass with my shoes and surly enough I started to pull it. I looked at her and she was at a gape in amazement that I was able to pull the wagon. “What, it’s nothing really.” I said with a grin. “Andrew you are nearly pulling a ton of apples up a incline to the barn and you are only using your two legs.” I just chuckled and continued to the barn with her following beside me. I don’t even know how I was doing it but it wasn’t that hard to do It felt kind of easy to me.

I had finally made it to the barn and I put the wagon full of apples inside, Next to a few other wagons. I then walked out behind Apple Jack and closed the barn door behind me. “So when do we start work Tomorrow?” I asked. “Well we start work every day at eight in the mornin’ but we don’t work on the weekends unless the zap apples come.” She said. “Ok well I will see you tomorrow.” I said with a smile on my face as I turned to go back to Fluttershys house. “Umm Andrew are you forgetting something?” She said and I just turned my head around and looked in confusion. There in her mouth was a small bag and she chucked it at me.

I caught the small bag and inside was seventy-two bits and I looked up at her in even more confusion. “For good honest labor I pay twelve bits an hour and we work twelve hours a day so you will make 144 bits a day working here.” I swear my jaw broke through the ground and was drilling through the ground at increasing speed. “And since you worked six hours today you get 72 bits.” After I regained my composure I just looked at her still. “Umm… ok Thanks Apple Jack.” I said still in confusion she just turned around and headed into her house.

I was still in shock on the way out of the arch of Sweet Apple Acres when I remembered that I had lost something important to me the other day. My wallet went missing the other day after I ran to get Sweetie Belle out of the Tree house and from what happened at the tree house I figured it was there. So while I’m here I might as well go and get it. So I turned around and started off towards the tree house.

On the way there I saw where I had fallen after I ran into that branch. It was broken so I just got it the rest of the way off and threw it off to the side to make sure that it wouldn’t hurt anyone. So on continuing to the trees house it was now night and getting cold quick and from the looks of it. It was going to storm. Which make since because yesterday wasn’t supposed to be a nice day it was supposed to rain. So they were going to make up for it through the night. So I knew I had to hurry but I didn’t have to run. I finally made it to the tree house and walked up the ramp.

Once I got to the door I had noticed it was slightly open and by this time it was freezing outside because the rain was about to begin soon. I opened it slowly and I saw my wallet on the floor next to the wall and walked over and picked it up. Then I turned around and the sight I saw was one that just wanted to suck the soul from your body and wanted to make you kill yourself without even thinking about it. There in the opposite corner was a small pony laying close to the wall with a small thin green sheet lying over her.

I was stunned I couldn’t even process my thoughts as I stood there. Once my body finally caught on I walked slowly over to the little ball covered by the green sheet. I could now see a light purple mane and then I saw the orange coat it was attached to. “Oh my god! Scootaloo!” I ran over to her and grabbed her she was freezing but still breathing. I sat her down and ripped off my shirt. I wrapped the shirt around her first because it was somewhat warm from my body then I wrapped the sheet around her. I picked her up and started to run out the door.

Screw the ramp I just jumped off the ledge. But I stopped in my tracks anyway to figure out where I should go should I could to Apple Jacks or should I go to Fluttershys. Apple Jacks was closer but I wouldn’t be able to run as fast as I could because of the woods and orchard. While to get to Fluttershys which was farther away all I would have to do is run down the stream nearby and it was a straight shot as I could go as fast as I wanted to.

I then chose to run to Fluttershys house. As soon as I chose I took off like a bullet to get to Fluttershys house. Once I started to run it started to rain. The rain and the wind were insane it was almost like I was in a hurricane. But I fought through it and I could see Fluttershys house in the distance. As I got closer I could see lights coming from her windows. And before no time I was at the front door knocking on it so hard it felt like I was going to beat it down as I was knocking I was saying, “Fluttershy it’s me Andrew let me in I need help!” I said that repeatedly for what felt like hours but it was only a few seconds. Once she opened the door and saw what I had she flung it open and rushed me inside.

Once I got in I didn’t even care what was wrong with me. I rushed her over to the fireplace and sat her down in front of it and took the soaking wet things off of her. While I did that Fluttershy was in the kitchen heating up something. Once I get everything off of her I wrapped her up in a fresh dry blanket that was lying on the couch. I notice she wasn’t even wet while I wrapped her up in it but she was still shivering from being cold. Once I got her wrapped up I sat in front of the fire place. In front isn’t a strong enough word for I could feel the pure heat radiating from the fire as it hit my bare skin.

I picked her up and held her close to myself to try and get her warmer quicker. Then Fluttershy came in with a pot of hot water and a rag. She dipped the rag in the water and wrung it out then put it on Scootaloos forehead. Fluttershy just hovered there and watched as I tried to warm the poor freezing filly. After sitting there for an hour she stopped shivering and I could see the color comeback to her face. So I stood up with her in my arms and I sat down on the couch. Every so often Fluttershy would take the rag and redip it and get it warm again and wrung it out then laid it on her head again.

I was starting to doze off but caught myself. Then I noticed she started to move and wiggle around trying to get comfortable. Then she would stop moving and stay in that position for awhile. Flutter shy was now asleep next to me it was about three in the morning now. Then as I went to redo the rag I saw her open her eyes I sat there frozen. Not in fear but in joy because she was going to be ok.

Then she raised her head to get a better look around. For about a minute she looked all around the room then she noticed Fluttershy sleeping on the couch. She looked over towards me and then looked up to see my smiling face that was looking down on her. She then put her head back down and I could see a small smile on her face as she drifted off to sleep again.

After dozing off a couple of times I looked up at the clock and it said seven a.m. so I got up and sat Scootaloo on the couch next to Fluttershy. “Fluttershy wake up.” As I nudged her and spoke quietly. She opened her eyes and looked up at me. “Yes Andrew what is it?” she said in a whisper. “I have to go work on the orchard with Apple Jack, would you mind watching her? And tell her she doesn’t have to worry about school today I’m going to go talk with Ms.Cheerilee and tell her the whole story.” “Ok Andrew I will keep an eye on her today.” She said with a smile. “Thank you.” I said as I hugged her. “I will be back after I’m done.” As I said that I released her and she nodded. I went out and started for Sweet Apple Acres.

I got there around 7:50. Apple Jack was standing in front of the barn getting ready for the day’s work. I went up and stood next to her. “So where are we starting today Apple Jack?” I asked and she pointed to the north Field. I nodded and we got to work. After the long day of picking apples. I pulled the cart up to the barn and put it away. I walked out the barn and closed the doors and turned around and apple jack was standing there with my days pay she dropped it in my hand. She looked at me and said, “Andrew what’s wrong you hardly talked all day today what’s going on?”

I motioned her to follow me and I sat on a bale of hay. She hopped up next to me and I explained to her the whole story of what happened last night. She sat there in shock as I told her everything. After I finished she looked at me and said, “What are you going to do?” “Well I’m going to have to talk to her and ask her why she was there and once I get that information I will go on from there.” I said. “Well Andrew you don’t have to come to work tomorrow if you don’t want.” She said with a sincere smile. “No Apple Jack I will be here it is my job after all to help you with the orchard now.” I said with a smile. “I might even bring her with me tomorrow if thats alright with you?” I said. “Sure you can bring her here tomorrow if you would like.” I nodded and started on my way back to Fluttershys house.

Once I got there I opened the door, once I stepped in and closed the door I felt two little legs wrap around my neck. I looked down and Scootaloo was crying while hugging me. I hugged her back and she released her strangle hold and lowered in my arms. I looked back to Fluttershy looking back at me and she had a smile on her face from ear to ear. “Fluttershy how much is supper at a restaurant here and a fancy one at that.” I asked, I saw her look up for a second and rubbing her chin. “Well for one meal at a fancy restaurant would be about ten bits, why? She looked at me with a weird look on her face.

Well Fluttershy you and Scootaloo go get ready I’m going to take you all out to dinner. Both of their faces lit up. “Come on Scootaloo lets go get ready, ok.” Fluttershy said. “Ok Fluttershy.” Scootaloo said trailing right behind her. After about ten minutes they came down and were ready to go. “So where would you all like to go to eat tonight?” I asked. They both looked at each other and at the same time said, “le’ mareones’.” “Ok you all lead the way.” I said pointing out the door.

We were now in the middle of ponyville which was rather busy at the moment. Then they pointed to it as they walked up to it. They stopped and stared as I step up and opened the door and motioned them in. They slowly trotted in and I was right behind them. I walked up to the seater and she said, “How many?” I said, “three.” And she motioned us to follow her. Once we got to our booth. Fluttershy and Scootaloo hopped up in one booth while I sat in the other. “So Scootaloo how were you for Fluttershy?” I asked. She hung her head and looked up at Fluttershy, Fluttershy then said, “She was just fine for me today and rubbed the filly on the head. “Well that’s good.” As I looked down at Scootaloo. For about the next two hours we sat there and had a great time laughing and eating our meals we also got dessert which was only four bits each.

After we left and where on the way back to Fluttershys house. I saw Scootaloo eye a toy in the toy store we were passing. I put my hand out and stopped Fluttershy and pointed to Scootaloo who was walking over to the toy store as if she were in a trance. I smiled once I saw what she was looking at. It was a rather nice train set and it was only twenty bits. While she was still standing there under its spell I slipped into the store and bought one just like it and slipped back out.

She was still staring at it through the glass. I walked up to her with it behind my back and tapped her on the shoulder. Once she looked up at me I held it out in front of me. She had a confused look on her face. Then it sunk it. “I…is… that for me? She said shakily and looked up at my face. I nodded, then I was on my back and she was on top of me hugging me around my neck but it felt like she was trying to choke me out. Fluttershy walked up next to me laughing. I just smiled once I could get a lung full of air.

So we finally made it back to Fluttershys house and Scootaloo asked, “Can we play with it now Andrew?” I looked at her and nodded. I then handed her the box and she went straight to the middle of the living room floor to put it together. “I will be there in a second ok, I need to talk to Fluttershy about something real quick.” I said and she just looked up and nodded at me.

I motioned Fluttershy to follow me to the kitchen. And she followed me to the kitchen. Once she got in the kitchen I looked back at Scootaloo and couldn’t help but smile as she tried to put the track together. Then I turned around to Fluttershy and said, “Once she is done playing with it I’m going to ask her why she was at the tree house last night and not at home, and I was wondering if you wanted to be there when I asked her or not? But if she doesn’t want you around to hear, if would you mind me and her talking alone for a bit?” “Yes I would like to be there Andrew and if she doesn’t want me to be around to hear that is ok with me.” She said with a little smile on her face.

I then went out to help Scootaloo to put the train and track together. And we sat there and played with it for awhile then she said “ok I’m done for know I need to take a break.” Well if that isn’t perfect timing. “Scootaloo I have a couple of questions I wanted to ask you ok.” She nodded and said, “Ok.” So I picked her up and sat her between Fluttershy and I. “These question might be uncomfortable for you to answer or hear but we need to know the answers to them ok. And Fluttershy would like to sit here and listen if that is ok with you?”I asked. “It’s ok and yeah Fluttershy can be here.” She said. I heard a sigh of relief from Fluttershy.

“Ok why were you in the tree house the other night by yourself?” once I said that I saw her head droop down. “It wasn’t just the other night since I have been in there. I have been staying there for about a month now. And the reason why I have been staying there is, a few nights before I started staying there my mom left the house at night to go get drunk somewhere like she always does but she didn’t come back for the next few days. So I figured she ditched me because she hated me,” she was now in tears, “so I went to the tree house to stay there from now on so I didn’t have to bother her anymore. I thought to myself it would be the best place to stay so I didn’t make anyponys life miserable with me being around. So that’s why I have been staying there.” I picked her up and held her as close as I could in a hug. “Oh Scootaloo nobody hates you and as for your mom she has no Idea what she had in her life, you are one of the most wonderful pony’s in all of ponyville and don’t you dare think otherwise I mean look at all of your friends and how happy they are when you are around. And from now on for now till I can get some things worked out how would you like to stay with me?” I said. At this point Fluttershy was now balling like a baby. Then the soft teary eyes of Scootaloo looked up at me and she nodded her head. “now that all of this is out of the way would you like to come to work with me tomorrow and then go to Twilights house afterward?” she nodded her head again. “Ok everypony how about we get some sleep. Fluttershy would you show her to my room I will sleep down here tonight on the couch. Oh and if anyone of you needs anything just come down and let me know ok?” They both nodded and went up stairs and I laid down on the couch and was out in no time.

Then I noticed someone nudging me to wake up. I opened my eyes and in front of me was Fluttershy pointing at something so I looked down trying not move too much and then I saw a lump under my blanket. I slowly lifted it out of the way so I could see what it was. And there cuddled up against the side of my chest was Scootaloo Sleeping peacefully. “Awww, isn’t she so precious.” Fluttershy cooed. “Yeah she is.” I said. I nudged her to wake her up then I saw her eyelids slowly lift up and then I saw her big purple eyes. She yawned and stretched and hopped off of the couch and walked up stairs. She was on her way up to the bathroom and I had to let out a small chuckle.

She was now ready to go and I told Fluttershy good bye and that I would see her later. We were walking down the road on our way to Sweet Apple Acres and then I remembered that I forgot to tell cheerilee the other day why Scootaloo wasn’t at school. “Hold on we need to go to your school quick good thing Fluttershy got us up early.” I nearly yelled.

Once we got to the school I walked in and saw Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom sitting at their desks. Up front sat Cheerilee at her desk. “Umm hello Cheerilee, I forgot to tell you something the other day and I also have a question for you.” I said. “Oh hello Andrew and Scootaloo, umm what did you forget to tell me and what is your question?” she asked in a soft voice. “Well the other day I meant to stop by and tell you that Scootaloo wasn’t going to be in school, and the question is , would you let me take Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, and Sweetie Belle to work with me today?” I asked as nicely as possible. “Oh well where do you work?” she asked. “He works down at Sweet Apple Acres with my sister.” Apple Bloom said quickly. After looking at Apple Bloom, Cheerilee then looked back at me and I nodded. “Well of course they can.” She then looked at the three fillies and said, “You three should bring me back three of the best apple you can find.” Then she winked at them and me.

“Ok girls lets go I will race you there.” I said once we were all outside of the school. They took off and I was right behind them. They were fast but I wasn’t running at full speed. Then it looked like they were already getting tired. So I ran up to them grabbed Scootaloo and put her on my head. I then grabbed Apple Bloom and put her on my left shoulder then I picked up Sweetie Belle and put her on my right shoulder. “Hang on girls here we go.” I said and then started to run as fast as I could and we made it to Sweet Apple Acres at 7:30 a.m. I don’t think I made bad time myself.

Once we got there I saw Apple Jack look at me weird and say. “Why do you have Sweetie Belle and my sis as well and why are they riding on you?” she started to laugh at the end of what she said. “They were to slow so I had to literally pick up the pace. And I couldn’t bring Scootaloo without her two best friends. Tell you what I bet I can harvest more apples by lunch time with these three fillies on me than you can in the same amount of time?” I said boastfully. “I will take you up on that.” Then Apple Jack and I brohoofed and got to work.

It was too much fun they just sat there and laughed and talked to one another as I got to work. From the looks of it I was going the same pace as apple jack. We were burning up that part of the orchard. Then it was lunch time and the girls screamed, “TIMES UP, STOP WHAT YOUR DOING!” Apple Jack and I laid down on our back to try to catch our breath. While Apple Jack and I laid there they counted how much each harvester collected. “We have come to a decision, Andrew collected 1,537 apples while Apple jack collected 1,537 apples IT’S A TIE!” They screamed. Me and Apple jack just looked at one another and laughed.

“Ok I will agree with that.” I said as we both collapsed again. I have to admit that was fun, As we laid there and relaxed. After we ate some lunch, we got to work picking apples and just having fun. “Girls aren’t you supposed to be looking for three very nice apple to take back to Cheerilee tomorrow?” “Oh yeah I can’t believe we almost forgot about that.” Said Sweetie Belle. “Well girls pick out one you all want to bring back to Cheerilee ok.” I said with a smile. “Ok.” They all said. I went back to work waiting for them to find the apples they wanted to take. Then I heard Apple Bloom yell, “I found one!” “Ok I’m on my way Apple Bloom.” Once I got there she pointed it out. “I’m not getting it.” I laughed. I picked her up and held her up to it and she grabbed it giggling. Then I put her down and she ran off with the apple.

Once I got back to work I heard Sweetie Belle yell, “I found the one I want to give cheerilee!” I just hung my head down and said, “Ok I’m comin I’m comin just hold your horses.” She pointed to a big apple nearly the size of her. “Are you sure you can hold that one?” she scowled at me. “Ok ok I got it, well you got it.” I grabbed it and put her close to it and she grabbed it and brought it back down with her. She sat it on the ground and tried to use her magic to pick it up but she isn’t quite good enough yet to do that. She said, “Thank you.” She then trotted off and disappeared.

Then before I even started to work I heard Scootaloo yell, “Hey Andrew I found one for her.” “Ok I’m on the way.” I said. Then once I got around to the other side of a tree I saw where she was looking up at a big and dark red one. “Oh wow how did you find such a good o ne.” I said I knew the bigger and darker the apple was the sweeter it was. “I just came across it; can you pick me up to get it?”She asked. “No problem, come here.” I said as I picked her up to get her prize she found for her teacher. Once she grabbed it she hopped out of my hands and on to my head she was holding the apple with her wings.

I looked over towards the mountains and the sun was about to disappear behind the majestic tops. “Ok let’s get back to the wagon. So how was today off from school?” I asked then I heard her let out a long sigh of relief which was good to hear. “Today is just about one of the best days of my life to be honest.” She said. “Well that’s good to hear.” I said happily. So I got the wagon back to the barn and locked everything up. Once I turned around there stood Apple Jack with my days pay inside. She dropped it in my hand. “Girls come here I got something for you all.” Then Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle ran up and stood there while Scootaloo was on my head. I then gave them ten bits each and smiled as it looked like their eyes were about to pop out of their head. “This is for your alls help today. Make sure you spend it wisely, ok?” They all screeched and jumped up and down. “I didn’t know it would make their day that much.”I whispered and chuckled to Apple Jack “Bye Apple Jack and Apple Bloom.” I said. Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, and I waved as we walked down the road. “Oh hold on Andrew!” Apple Jack came running towards us. “Umm I have a special job for you to do ifn you won’t mind doin it.” She said “What is the job?” I asked in confusion. “Well the barns Roof needs redone and im willin to pay ya mighty well if ya do it.” She said rubbing the back of her head. “Yeah sure I’ll take the job. I should be able to do it in just two days no problem, I will start on it tomorrow.” I smiled

“But I didn’t even say how much I was going to pay ya.” Apple jack said. “Apple Jack you are the element of honesty are you not. Whatever you decide to pay me will be fine.”I said. “Umm ok I will pay ya… thousand bits.” she said. Once she said that I about passed out. “Umm apple jack don’t you think that is a bit much to pay to have a roof redone?” “Umm not really, and besides you side since I was the element of honesty I would know a fair price.” She said. “Ok you got me there.” I said looking at her and then we brohoofed. “Ok I will see you tomorrow, bye.” I said with a smile.

Then I dropped Sweetie Belle off at Raritys house and we said our good byes. “Well are you ready to go to Twilights house?”I said. “Yeah let’s go.” She exclaimed. Then I felt a tummy rumble on top of my head. “Ok how about we get some dinner first.”I said rubbing my stomach. “Ok.” “You think we should grab twilight some dinner as well?” “Yeah knowing her she is probably buried in books and forgot to eat.” I laughed once she said that. After we grabbed something to take to Twilights so we could eat. We were on our way to twilight again.

Once we got there I knocked on the door. “Come in.”I heard twilight say. So I walked in and closed the door behind me and there was twilight reading a book. “Twilight how long have you been reading that book?” “Oh umm just a few minutes.” Well would you like some dinner?” “No thank you I just had breakfast.” I looked up at Scootaloo and she just rolled her eyes and I laughed. “Twilight what time do you think it is?” I asked. “She looked up at the clock. And said, “8:30 in the morning.” I opened the door. “Twilight look outside,” she turned around to look, “you have been reading that book for over twelve hours twilight. Now come on and have some supper with us ok.” She gave in and went to the kitchen and sat at the table. So I handed out the food to them and sat mine in front of me.

“So what brings you here Andrew?” she asked “I’m looking for a certain book.”I exclaimed. “What book are you looking for?” she asked. “I’m looking for a book about all of Equestria’s laws; do you have something like that?”I asked in return. “Of course I have a book about all of the laws in Equestria.” She proclaimed. “Ok I was wondering if I could take it for awhile to study, that wouldn’t be a problem would it.” I asked. “No, no problem at all, I will get it as soon as we are done.” After we sat there and ate for awhile and talked about things. I cleaned everything up and through everything away. Twilight brought the book to me and I grabbed it and stuck it in a pouch I just bought at the store that was next to the diner we went to grab the food. “Thank you I will get it back to you soon.”I said gratefully. “Oh don’t worry about it, not to many read up on Equestria’s laws.” She said with a chuckle.

I picked up Scootaloo and cradled her in my arms. She was asleep on Twilights couch before I picked her up. “Thank you again Twilight I will see you soon.” I said quietly. “Andrew what do you even want with that book anyway?” I stuck up my finger to tell twilight to hold on. “Scootaloo are you awake?” I said. She didn’t move I leaned back over to twilight and said, “I’m thinking about adopting her Twilight.” Once I said that Twilights eyes got big and she tilted her head. “Wait how are you going to adopt her doesn’t she live with her mom?” she asked. “No her mom left her alone, but I plan on finding her soon enough don’t worry about that.” I said in a nearly pissed off tone but quietly. “Well good luck with that Andrew, I hope everything works out for you and her and if you ever need any help I’m always here.” I smiled and nodded. Then I took my leave

Once we got back to Fluttershys house I went in and locked the door behind me. Then I went up stairs and put her in bed. Once I was about to cover her up. “Will you please sleep next to me I don’t want to be alone.” She said half awake. Now you can’t resist your fatherly instincts. So I put her down on the bed and I laid down beside her. Once I got comfortable I felt her ball up against me like she did this morning. And she was out in a second. And I wasn’t too far behind her. And before I knew it I was asleep right next to her.
