*Changeling territory 1 hour before Sonic's takeoff*

"My queen an unknown enemy is attacking Canterlot." Changer reported.

"Hmmm, interesting let's see how Celestia handles this new threat." Chrysalis said.

Twilight who's prison cocoon was put in Chrysalis' room was worried as she overheard the conversation "Please be careful Celestia." she thought hoping Celestia would be safe.

*Canterlot present time*

(Inuyasha POV)

Inuyasha and Kagome see the explosions in the sky.

"What the hell is that damn fool doing up there!?" Inuyasha wondered.

"Let's worry about Sonic later, for now we gotta defend the town." Kagome replied.

"OK."

(Bugs POV)

"Geez Canterlot is a mess this defiantly isn't the Changelings work." Rainbow said observing the damage.

"I don't care who or what's invading," Bugs said bringing out his carrot saber "Because this means war."

(Elmer POV)

"I can't set the plane in the town it's too much of a firefight down there." Elmer said seeing all the shots coming from the town "That castle's courtyard seems clear eneough I'll set down there."

(Sonic POV)

"Ok time to destroy some robots," Sonic said before noticing some Underworld knights "And knights...kn...kn...knights?" Sonic got ready for combat "Ready Caliburn." he said.

"I was forged ready." he replied.

Sonic managed to cut through the knights and destroying robots while trying to get to Eggman.

"Can't Eggman make his robots just a little tougher." Sonic said wanting a challenge.

"Just be glad he's not on the same side as the knights of the Underworld." Caliburn replied.

Sonic sees 5 Eggpawns in his way "SONIC WIND!" he shouted summoning a tornado launching the robots to the sky.

"All right time to charge through them." Caliburn said.

"I think your right Caliburn." Sonic replied noticing a lot of robots and knights and started charging up his light speed.

"Ready, LIGHT SPEED DASH!!!" Sonic shouted as he just sped through everything "Eggman sighted time to crack him." he said speeding towards his location.

*Music ends*

(Inuyasha POV)

"It's no good they keep coming." Kagome said starting to get tired.

"Well theres no time to take breaks we gotta hold them off." Inuyasha said not even a bit winded.

(Bugs POV)

"What are these things, they just won't stay down." Rainbow said.

"I don't know, but what I do know is their not exactly friendly." Bugs replied.

(Elmer POV)

"So that rabbit is here," Elmer said spotting Bugs "I hate to say it but this isn't a good time or place to be hunting him."

(Sonic POV)

"-I suggest you play nice princess." Eggman said trying to strike a deal with Celestia.

"How about I play rough Eggman." Sonic said.

"Do you always have to mock him?" Caliburn asked.

"Stay outta this you letter opener." Sonic replied.

"That was what you call a rhetorical question." Caliburn thought.

"Grrr thats it take the princesses into the castle, in the mean time Sonic how about you deal with an old friend." Eggman said retreating inside the castle with Metal Sonic appearing.

"Your going down this time you fake." Metal Sonic said ready to fight.

"Oh please I'll show you that fakes don't surpass the original." Sonic said ready for combat.

(RIVAL MUSIC - Rival Battle - Metal Sonic - Sonic Generations OST)

Sonic and Metal Sonic were evenly matched with Sonic rarely needing to use Caliburn to fight.

"Ugh you've gotten stronger." Metal Sonic said sustaining some damage.

"And you haven't gotten any smarter," Sonic mocked "Just give up."

"Don't underestimate me." Metal Sonic said activating his electric attacks.

"Now it's time to get serious." Sonic said ready to take down his opponent.

Metal Sonic sent out electric attacks at Sonic while he dodged them and managed to strike Metal Sonic a few times.

"I'll be back later you blue rat." Metal Sonic said retreating sustaining heavy damage.

*Music ends*

"Coward won't even fight till the end." Caliburn said disappointed that Metal Sonic fled.

"Let's let him go for now he can't fight anymore," Sonic said "For now we gotta deal with Eggman."

"All right then." Caliburn replied as the went inside the castle.

(Elmer POV)

"-Take the princesses into the castle-" Elmer overheard.

"I'm gonna have to free them," he said as Eggman and the princesses went inside "But I'm low on ammo after covering Sonic in the Tornado, I'm gonna have to sneak in to free them."

(STEALTH LEVEL MUSIC - Crateria Underground -Super Metroid OST)

Elmer snuck around the castle avoiding sight from all the robots stationed inside.

"Hey you hear that some of our troops are having a hard time." Eggpawn #10 said.

"Yeah, some outsiders to this world you think?" Egg Robo #5 asked.

"Probably but wouldn't that put a dent in our plans." Eggpawn #10 replied.

"I hear one of them is a rabbit with a beam sword stuck in a carrot." Egg Robo #11 said.

"So Bugs got here after all." Elmer thought moving forward again.

Elmer managed t get around some robots almost getting spotted once and spots the throne room but notices at least 6-15 robots.

"Darn a security checkpoint how am I-" Elmer's thoughts are interrupted by an alarm.

"ALERT hedgehog sighted at front entrance all nearby units proceed to intercept."

Most of the robots left to deal with Sonic leaving 3 guards at the checkpoint.

"Good now I can get inside easier," Elmer thought "Thanks for the unintentional distraction Sonic."

Elmer manages to get through the robots grabbing one of their spare guns, some ammo, and headed into the throne room.

*Music ends*

Elmer went inside spotting Eggman his mech and two ponies in chains, one white with wavy rainbow hair, and a dark purple pony with blue wavy hair with stars in it.

"-So you think you two can just turn me down," Eggman said his deal with the princesses failing "Well I'll just keep destroying Canterlot."

"You won't get away with this." the white pony said.

"Oh please nothing can stop me when I'm this close to achieving my goal." Eggman boasted.

"Do you wanna make a bet on that." Elmer challenged.

"Seriously here I am expecting Sonic and I get big head here." Eggman said dissapointed.

"Shut it baldy." Elmer replied.

"Hey my name is Dr. Ivo Robotnik." Eggman said angrily.

"Whatever Dr. Rofatfk." Elmer taunted.

"That's it you've messed with the wrong evil genius." Eggman said heading inside his mech.

"And you messed with the wrong hunter." Elmer replied getting his guns ready.

(BOSS MUSIC - Multiplayer Theme 1 - Hunters - Metroid Prime 2 Echoes OST)

Eggman's new mech was similar to the Death Egg Robot only now it had an arm cannon in the right arm, a missile launcher on the right shoulder, and a gatling gun on the left shoulder.

"Isn't all that a bit much?" Elmer asked.

"Oh please when your an evil genius you can never have too much weapons." Eggman replied prepping his missiles.

Elmer tried to dodge Eggman's attacks getting hit a few times while trying to get a few shots in.

"Ha did you really think you could scratch me with that." Eggman taunted.

"I can't just fire randomly I gotta hit something vulnerable." Elmer thought.

"Come on just keep trying to hit me I dare you." Eggman taunted charging a shot from his arm cannon.

*BANG*

Elmer shot at the cannon causing it to backfire and explode.

"Your not getting away with this," Eggman said "missiles FIRE!"

Elmer ran straight for the mech causing the missiles to hit the mech's legs.

*Music ends*

"I don't think you can fight anymore." Elmer said.

"Orbot, Cubot I need a pickup here." Eggman ordered.

"We're coming boss." Cubot said blowing a hole in the throne room.

"All remaining badniks retreat." Eggman ordered.

"What's the matter scared." Elmer taunted.

"Don't think you've won yet." Eggman said as the Egg Fleet took off.

Sonic busts down the door "All right Eggman hands.....up." Sonic trailed off noticing Eggman wasn't there.

Inuyasha and Kagome come in through a broken window "Okay where is the fat.....man?" he trailed off.

Rainbow Dash and Bugs come in through the hole in the ceiling "Don't worry princesses we'll save......you." she trailed off.

*Awkward silence for 2 minutes later*

"Well um this is really awkward." Elmer said breaking the silence.

"CAN SOMEPONY RELEASE US ALREADY!!!" Luna shouted in her royal Canterlot voice.

"Oh sorry." everyone (except the princesses) said in unison.

They released Celestia and Luna and all of them explained how they got here and what was going on with the Changelings and such.

"Well those are some....interesting tales." Celestia said trying to let everything she heard sit.

"I know Celestia I lost track a lot." Sonic thought his mind going in circles.

"Well do all of you wanna help us over in Ponyville?" Rainbow asked.

"Sure we'll help out anyway we can, right guys." Sonic said with everyone (except the princesses and RD) giving a nod.

"All right let's go."  Rainbow said speeding off with Sonic and the others following.

Discord teleports in after RD and the newcomers head out "Hey Celestia," he sees the damage in the room "What kind of chaotic party did I miss," he said "It's like something went kaboom in here."

Luna facehooves herself for Discord not being around when Eggman attacked and him not noticing her.

(Sonic POV)

"When is that train gonna get here already?" Sonic asked impatiently.

"Just try to be patient Sonic." Caliburn said.

"Oh come on Caliburn you should know me by now." Sonic replied.

"Do I have to put some beads of subjugation on you." Kagome said with a death glare scaring Sonic.

"Is she always this scary?" Rainbow asked Inuyasha.

"You wouldn't be that far off." he replied.

"You know I didn't think I'd be happy to see you here Elmer." Bugs said.

"Yeah besides I'm willing to put our feud behind us at least until we get back home." Elmer replied.

"Hey here comes the train." Rainbow announced.

"ALL ABOARD THE TRAIN TO PONYVILLE!!!" the train conductor shouted.

"OK everyone let's head out." Sonic said with everyone boarding the train.

And so our heroes (and heroines) head out, their adventure is only just beginning.
