Everyone was relaxing on the train as best they could since Sonic was getting a tad impatient, and Inuyasha was anxious for an attack.

"When are those two gonna calm down?" Rainbow thought.

"Hey we're coming up on the town." Bugs announced.

Everyone looked out the windows to see the damaged Ponyville.

"Yikes and I thought Eggman was destructive." Sonic said surprised at the damage.

"If Naraku were to attack now things could get disastrous." Kagome thought.

"Right once we come off we better report in to Spike," Rainbow said "He'll be at the castle."

"You mean the giant shiny thing?" Inuyasha asked.

"Yeah that." Rainbow replied.

"Talk about sticking out like a rusty knife," Caliburn thought "The last thing you would expect to see in a village is a castle made of crystal."

"I don't believe that Sonic is as fast as he says, he needs to show it first." Rainbow thought.

"We will be arriving at the Ponyille train station in 5 minutes!" the conductor announced.

"Okay let's report in to this Spike and see what we can do to help." Sonic said.

"Ugh I can't believe this I got beaten by a bald guy with a shotgun," Eggman ranted "I swear if I find him again I'm gonna-" he notices Orbot and Cubot shut off "Lazy bots." he said turning his assistants back on.

"Hey boss what's going on?" Cubot wondered.

"Would you two just tell me what happened?" Eggman asked.

"Well you were attacking Canterlot," Orbot replied "Wait why aren't you doing that?"

That question made the gears in Eggman's head go in many directions "Wait so you don't remember how you turned off?" he asked.

"Nope not that I remember much anyway." Cubot replied.

"Ugh idiots, anyway back to the drawing board," Eggman said needing a new plan "Computer bring up a map of this world."

"Roger" the computer goes through it's files "Data missing searching......all files on Equestria have been removed."

"Dang and we need to set up a base somewhere." Eggman said angrily.

"How about we use that ruined castle over there." Orbot said pointing at Celestia and Luna's old castle.

"It's better than nothing I suppose." Eggman replied "Computer head down there."

"Already on it." the computer said directing the fleet.

Twilight's Castle

Sonic & Co. enter the castle to find Spike, Fluttershy, and Discord.

"Oh you must be the newcomers and Rainbow Dash I don't know who but one of you left this." Discord said teleporting the Tornado in the room.

"Oh yeah I forgot about that." Elmer said.

"Tails is seriously gonna kill me." Sonic thought taking a close look at the damage.

"So you wanna help out here Discord?" Fluttershy asked.

"As much as I'd love to Celestia asked if I could help with repairing the damage at Canterlot." Discord replied.

"OK try to be careful out there." Spike said.

"Yeah sure," Discord said teleporting himself some construction gear "Bye everyone." he then leaves through a door he made.

"What is wrong with that....thing?" Inuyasha thought confused.

"Don't mind Discord he's always that random." Spike said.

"Looks I found a new contender for most random person I ever met." Elmer thought.

"Okay how about we get down to business shall we." Sonic said wanting to move on (and not think of the Tornado).

"All right might as well start with introductions." Rainbow said.

Sonic & Co. introduced themselves and explained how they got to Equestria, and what predicaments they have to deal with.

"Yikes and I thought Equestria had enough problems already," Spike said "Now more just got added to the plate."

"Geez first Eggman, now bug ponies that drain love, a demon with a faddish for jewel shards, and a martian midget," Sonic thought "Even after hearing this in detail again I still can't take one out of all of those seriously."

"I'm still wondering how these 'Underworld knights' as you call them got here." Rainbow said pondering.

"I don't think it's something worth dwelling on," Inuyasha said "As long as I can cut something in the way that's good enough for me."

"Can't you at least think with your head and not your brawn." Kagome thought annoyed.

"Anyway down to business." Spike said.

(EVENT MUSIC - Strategy - Sonic Adventure 2 OST)

Spike began giving everyone assignments "Okay Sonic, Rainbow Dash, Inuyasha-"

"Please don't say the k word."

"-And Kagome-"

"I guess Shippou was right, karma does include thoughts."

"-You four go check out the Everfree Forest for Changeling outposts."

"Time to go." Rainbow said speeding out with her group following her.

"Bugs are you any good at digging?" Spike asked.

"I'm practically a drill." Bugs replied.

"Okay go dig an underground shelter in case we get attacked by Changelings again." Spike said.

"On it doc." Bugs replied saluting with his ear.

"Elmer you go help Applejack defend Sweet Apple Acres, Fluttershy will point you in the right direction." Spike said.

"I'm watching you." Fluttershy said giving Elmer a death glare.

"After your done Fluttershy go help out with the repairs." Spike said.

"Okay then." she replied as they left.

"Here we are." Fluttershy said upon arrival.

"Well it was pretty obvious that this would be an apple farm," Elmer thought looking at all the apple trees "The name alone makes it pretty clear on what kinda farm it is."

"Hey there Applejack." Fluttershy said spotting her friend.

Applejack looks at Fluttershy suspiciously "What was the name of the town ya first lived at?" she asked.

"C-C-Cloudsdale." Fluttershy responded scared.

"Sorry Fluttershy just making sure your not a Changeling." Applejack apologized.

(HUB AREA MUSIC - Places of Souls - Legend of Mana OST)

"Phew thanks I was a bit scared there." she replied.

"A bit I thought you wouldn't even respond." Elmer thought.

"So who's big head here and how did ya meet him?" Applejack asked pointing at Elmer.

"At least she didn't say baldy or Q-ball." Elmer thought.

"It's kinda a long story." Fluttershy said.

"Well we were about to break for lunch," Applejack said "You can tell me and the rest of the family then."

"Thanks by the way my name's Elmer Fudd." he said.

"It's a pleasure to meet ya Mr. Fudd, I'm Applejack." she said tipping her hat.

"The pleasure's mine AJ." Elmer replied as they headed towards the barn.

(CAMP MUSIC - On the Beach of Dreams - Chrono Cross OST)

Sonic & Co. explored the forest with no luck of finding any Changelings and have decided to break for lunch.

"I'm surprised on how fast you can fly RD," Sonic said "Normally not a lot of people or ponies in this case can't keep up with me."

"Well they don't exactly call me Rainbow DASH for nothing." Rainbow gloated.

"Whom I'm guessing is not a lot." Caliburn said.

"Ouch shots fired." Sonic thought.

"Keep your big mouth shut or I won't be afraid to snap you in half!" Rainbow yelled.

"That sword's behavior makes me glad Tetsaiga can't talk" Inuyasha thought.

"You know Sonic when this blows over you and should have a race," Rainbow challenged "To see who is really the fastest."

"Trust me when this is all over I'll be way ahead of you." Sonic replied.

"Yikes they've only known each other for less than 24 hours and they're already butting heads with each other." Kagome thought "So how about we start eating." she said.

"Oh all right." Inuyasha said "And I was starting to enjoy listening to those two bicker."

"Sure need all the energy we can get." Sonic said.

"Just remember I'm a herbivore." Rainbow reminded.

"Don't worry I didn't forget." Kagome said "And I just hope Inuyasha doesn't try to look for the pickled radish AGAIN!"

*Music ends*

--Meanwhile--

Dr. Eggman and his robots were busy converting the Castle of the two Sisters into his base of operations.

"Not bad progress everyone." Eggman complimented.

"Don't think about it Eggman." Orbot replied while putting up some banners.

"Wait a minute." Eggman noticed the insignia on the banners looked different.

"That's not the usual insignia what the heck is going on?" Eggman asked angrily.

"I have no idea how to say this so I'm just going to let Cubot blurt it out." Orbot replied.

"We don't work for you anymore!" Cubot shouted excited.

"WHAT DID YOU FORGET WHO CREATED ALL OF YOU!!!" Eggman shouted very angry.

(EVENT MUSIC - Issun's Theme - Okami OST)

"And it's that attitude that they were all glad to work for me." A voice said coming into the room.

"Who the hell is the midget and why are you working for him?" Eggman asked wanting answers.

"To answer the first question his name is Marvin the Martian," Orbot replied "As for the second question we are all tired of the way you treat us and Marvin here treats us nicely. Not to mention there was that one time you left us stranded in space."

"Nice job you want an energy cube." Marvin said offering Cubot a snack.

"Thanks man." Cubot said eating the cube.

"Now then Eggy I suggest you get out before I get angry," Marvin said "And you do not want to see me when I'm angry."

"You do realize I'll be back to kill you right." Eggman said annoyed.

"Just get in your Egg Mobile." Marvin demanded.

"Bye Robotnik." Eggpawn #16 said.

"You will be missed." Eggpawn #20 said.

"I doubt that." Metal Sonic thought.

"I'll be sure take you out myself." Eggman said as he left not noticing the mobile was rigged with C4.

"I'm gonna enjoy this more than I should." Orbot said detonating the C4.

*BOOM*

"Good job Orbot have an energy cube." Marvin said giving him a "well done" snack.

"Thanks boss." Orbot replied.

"Just Marvin is fine." he said.

*Music ends*

"That wanna be martian is so dead." Eggman said getting out of his crashed Egg Mobile.

--Back with Sonic & Co.--

Kagome notices Inuyasha's ear twitch "What's the matter?" she asked.

"I thought I heard something," he replied "I think it was a...what was that word you use when something goes boom."

"Explosion." Sonic said.

"Yeah that." Inuyasha said.

"Let's go take a look," Rainbow said "Whatever made that explosion can't be too far."

*4 minutes later*

Sonic and the others spot Eggman and his crashed Egg mobile.

"And I just keep getting reminded of my failures." Eggman said spotting Sonic.

"You mean your failure at killing me or just in general." Sonic joked.

"Enough joking you two I'd like to know what happened after all." Kagome said.

"Oh come on he's right there we can take him." Inuyasha said annoyed.

"Sit."

*THUD*

"Yeah even I'm starting to get curious, what happened to you Eggman?" Sonic asked.

"Let's just say my robots issued a mutiny." he replied.

"Betrayal it never ends well." Caliburn said.

"Who asked you?" Sonic asked rhetorically.

"Seriously there has to be more than just that." Rainbow said.

"Well I'd say more but you might wanna look behind you." Eggman said with everyone spotting Changelings behind them.

"We've got to get out of here!" Caliburn shouted with everyone agreeing.

*Loading*

A familiar "chao" appears on screen "Hi I'm Omochao and I'll be your gui-" Omochao was interrupted by Pinkie Pie smashing him up.

"No pony cares about you Omochao!" she yelled "I swear I will destroy you and all of your clones!" Pinkie notices the player "Sorry just had to get that outta my system, enjoy the level."

(LEVEL MUSIC - The Wind Sings of a Journey - Legend of Mana OST)

"Dang it those Changelings are blocking our path." Rainbow said.

"I'll get them out of the way," Inuyasha said bringing out Tetsauiga "WIND SCAR!!!" he yelled causing a big stream of energy clearing most of the Changelings.

"All right Sonic take point." Kagome said.

"Okay hope all of you can keep up." Sonic replied.

Sonic sped through all the Changelings cutting any in his way with his friends (and Eggman) close behind.

"We've almost made it out of here." Caliburn declared.

"We just gotta keep moving." Sonic said.

After getting through all the Changelings Sonic & Co. made it to a small clearing near the exit.

"Oh jeez my back." Inuyasha said his back sore from carrying Eggman "Next time carry yourself."

"Would all of you try to keep it down we're not out of the woods yet." Caliburn said.

"Phew made it." Rainbow said dropping off Kagome.

"What kept you RD?" Sonic asked.

"Hey you try flying while someone's on your back." Rainbow said.

Eggman notices some Changelings flying overhead of them "Are they coming or going?" he wondered.

"Probably going we got company." Kagome said.

"Let me guess Naraku." Inuyasha said.

"How would you know that?" Caliburn asked.

"Try the miasma that's surrounding us." Inuyasha replied with everyone noticing the purple mist around them.

"I think this has taught me to stay away from forests. Rainbow thought.

"Well isn't this a surprise," a sinister voice said "You found some new friends to replace your old ones." a hole appears revealing Naraku.

"Oh shut up." Inuyasha said.

"So are you that Naraku guy?" Sonic asked.

"I am Naraku yes." he replied.

"Perfect imma deck you in the schnoz." Sonic said gaining odd looks from everyone including Naraku.

"I'm...sorry that's a new one, who are you exactly?" Naraku asked confused.

"Seriously you kidnap my friend, possess him with that jewel of yours, send him to kill us, and you don't know who I am." Sonic said angrily.

"I don't even know what your talking about." Naraku said.

"I think Sonic just broke Naraku." Kagome thought.

"You know my best bud Tails." Sonic said.

"If your talking about that fox I sent him to kill Inuyasha you were just in the way." Naraku said.

"Why is it always me can't you target someone else like Koga." Inuyasha thought annoyed.

"Well if you think you can do that and not face the precautions you got another thing coming." Sonic said ready to fight.

"Now wouldn't be a good time to rash Sonic." Caliburn warned.

"I have every right to be!" Sonic yelled.

"Guess we better back him up." Rainbow said slightly annoyed.

"Tsk your all fools to oppose me." Naraku taunted.

(BOSS MUSIC - Challenge - Final Fantasy 10 OST (HD Remaster))

Sonic immediately charged at Naraku with his Soul Surge but was stopped by his barrier with each swing.

"Did you really think you could harm me." Naraku taunted.

"Don't start making bets yet." Sonic said bringing out his chaos emerald "CHAOS CONTROL!" he yelled teleporting inside Naraku's barrier.

"Do you think a little disappearing, reappearing trick is gonna scare me." Naraku said not impressed.

"Have you not noticed that I'm right in front of you." Sonic said.

Naraku notices that Sonic standing inside his barrier "Of fk." he said.

Sonic and Naraku begin fighting inside the barrier.

"Should we help him?" Rainbow asked.

"Nah Sonic should be able to hold him back while we get out of here." Eggman replied.

"Right I'll handle this." Kagome said shooting an arrow clearing the miasma.

Sonic notices the group making a run for it "All right not my intention but at least they're getting out of here." he thought.

"Sonic he's too strong we have to make a run for it." Caliburn pleaded.

Sonic chaos controlled out of the barrier and made a run for it "As much I hate to run from a fight Caliburn I think you're right about this." he said.

"Run from me all you want but you won't escape me." Naraku said speeding towards him.

Sonic saw Naraku flying towards him at nearly his speed "Serious run time now." he said panicking.

Naraku kept blocking him with his tentacles with Sonic cutting through them or quick stepping around them.

"He is really persistent." Caliburn said.

*Music ends*

The chase went on until Sonic lost him in some trees "Fine I'll let you live for now, but next time you won't be so lucky." Naraku said.

Sonic stopped to catch his breath "I'm...starting...to see...why...Inuyasha said...he's...hard...to...take...down." he said between breaths.

"I never thought I would see like this Sonic." Caliburn said.

"I may have fought tough enemies but not that tough." Sonic replied.

"Well I suggest we lay low for a while with Naraku occupying the forest it's best we don't try to make for the exit, that chaos control trick of yours or not." Caliburn said.

Sonic nodded and headed into the trees for cover.

Kagome and the others managed to make it out of the forest but started to get worried about Sonic. (Except Inuyasha and Eggman)

"I hope he's okay in there." Rainbow said.

"I'm sure Sonic's fine Rainbow." Kagome said.

"Against that demon I don't care if he's fast give him the chance and Naraku could kill all of us." she said with some slight panic.

"Well at least we're alive." Eggman said moving away from the conversation.

"Just letting you know fat man double-cross us just once your heads coming." Inuyasha warned.

"Noted." Eggman said nervous.

"Let's at least wait for half an hour if Sonic is not back by then let's head back to Ponyville." Rainbow said with everyone agreeing.

--Meanwhile--

Sonic and Caliburn have been wandering the forest keeping a low profile "Ugh this place is a maze." he said.

"And this is why I suggested making a trail." Caliburn said.

"And let Naraku follow it pfft as if." Sonic shot back.

"I was just throwing out an idea can you blame me for that." Caliburn replied.

Sonic was about to say something but heard footsteps "Oh no someone is coming hide." he said immediately heading up a tree.

From their hiding spot Sonic caught a glimpse of something white flying "What was that?" he wondered.

"Uh Sonic is it normal for a priestess to be followed by spirit dragons." Caliburn whispered.

Sonic looked to who he mentioned and thought that the priestess looked familiar "Kagome?" he immediately thought.

(EVENT MUSIC - Moonlit City Roa - Legend of Mana OST)

"Sonic are you all right you look like you've seen a ghost." Caliburn said.

"That's Kagome." Sonic said pointing at the mystery woman.

"Well I can see the resemblance but I don't think that's Kagome," Caliburn said "Since Kagome wasn't wearing those robes."

"Well maybe it's past Kagome." Sonic said.

"I think you've been on too much adventures, no offense." Caliburn said.

"Some taken, but seriously I think I've been through enough time shenanigans to know that's Kagome from a different time period." Sonic said "Especially after that time when that Time Eater crashed my birthday." he thought.

"Well then what do you think those spirit dragons are carrying." Caliburn said.

"Well spirits I'd imagine." Sonic replied.

"I swear if you weren't King Arthur I'd call you a knave." Caliburn thought "Well at least your close, those are actually souls." he said.

"SAY WHAT!" Sonic panicked.

"Who's there." Kagome? said.

"Hum...hum...quack." Sonic stuttered.

"Nice try come out now." she demanded.

"Okay okay calm down lady." Sonic said coming down from the tree.

"Is this really a good idea Sonic?" Caliburn asked.

"Well it's either this or get killed and I don't want to cause more trouble than I need to." he replied.

"All right what manner of demon are you." Kagome? said.

"Hey I'm not a demon I'm Sonic the Hedgehog and if your looking for demons look somewhere else." he replied.

"Like you can fool me you must be one of Naraku's henchmen." she said.

"Ha real funny Kagome." Sonic said.

"Did you say Kagome?" she asked.

"Well yeah that is your name right." Sonic replied confused.

The mysterious woman face-palmed "Actually my name's Kikyo." she said.

"Told you she wasn't Kagome." Caliburn whispered.

"And I don't blame you for mistaking for Kagome slightly since she is my reincarnation." Kikyo explained.

"Called it." Sonic whispered "Wait reincarnation doesn't that she should be dead." he thought.

*Music ends*

"Now I suggest you leave." Kikyo said leaving but stopped to notice something missing "Where are my soul collectors?"

"You mean those spirit dragons with the stolen souls," Sonic said "I cut them up a couple seconds ago."

Kikyo was furious at this "Your going to pay for that." she said getting her bow out.

"You're the one that sounds like you shouldn't even be here no judging." Sonic said.

"Now is not the time for sarcasm Sonic." Caliburn warned.

"You made a mistake picking a fight with me." Kikyo said furious.

"I don't care if you look like my friend that won't stop me from taking you down." Sonic said getting into a battle ready stance.

"How do you always get yourself into situations like this." Caliburn thought annoyed.
