Magic has long been accepted as a part of human society but there is always one that is despised by both those who use it and by the general populace. Blood magic. Simply the name will send shivers down the spine of those with the most basic of knowledge. Those with the "gift of the blood" are hunted down by their closest friends under the order of the magical Congress to prevent the "bloodied souls" from corrupting those around them. Little is known of the power or potency of blood magic, even less is known wether those who have the "gift" have it out of choice, curse, or birth. Whichever is the cause does not matter because do you need to truly know how something comes to be to destroy it?
