A group of travelers find themselves in the company of a wandering storyteller. A trade is arranged: the grandest story she knows for a warm fire, something to eat, and a soft place to sleep. The cloaked mare agrees and as the party settles themselves around the campfire, she begins to spin her tale. It's one from "another eternity," as she calls it. It's a tale of two sisters, one as white and vibrant as the shining sun, the other as dark and sweet as a summer night.
