Chapter-30 Has joined the party [Edited]

Night, Luna and the night guards, hadn't seen the outskirts of Ponyville when they met the six element bearers. Before even a single word could be exchanged Rainbow Dash charged shouting.

"Stand back girls, Nightmare Moon is back." As Rainbow got closer, the guards surrounded Luna and pointed their spears at her. Dash thought she could fly around their spears, and she would have attempted it, if she weren't also met by Nights piercing gaze, which stopped her in her place.

A few seconds later Twilight appeared in a burst of magic speaking in a frantic manner.

"Rainbow stop, that's not Nightmare Moon, its princess Luna don't you remember we used the elements of harmony on her?" As Twilight said this, she noticed that Rainbow Dash had stopped and was now looking at the strange diamond dog Nightmare Moon had summoned. She knew that the dog was dangerous as her brother had sent her a letter claiming it had fought and won against more than half the royal guard.

{No there's no way this creature could have done that. It doesn't even have a horn, and the girls defeated it during the summer sun celebration. But Shiny wouldn't lie I need to ask I must know.}

As Twilight was beginning to speak, Pinkie surprised everyone by appearing behind Luna as confetti flew everywhere, and Pinkie started hummed a strange tune. Once she was done with the strange tune, she disappeared behind Luna's Mane and reappeared next to the still shocked Rainbow and Twilight as Rarity and Apple Jack appeared.

"Oh dear please tell me, that you haven't been walking around Canterlot with those common clothes. They don't even match." -Rarity said in an exaggerated tone as she noticed Night's jeans and shirt. Ignoring Rarity's comment Luna spoke.

"I was unaware that you were so proficient in time magic, bearer of laughter," Luna said in a still slightly shocked tone.

"Magic? I don't use magic princess. I mean duh I don't even have a horn, so that would be dangerous, and I don't want to hurt ponies or make them sad by hurting myself. I just use my pinkie sense to tell me where I would make the most ponies happy, and then I go there and surprise them.

I mean, everypony loves random surprises especially if they have confetti and balloons in them. So you see silly Loony Luna it's just my pinkie sense, and please call me Pinkie." As Pinkie ended her speech, which took less than ten seconds somehow, she managed to grab the other five element bearers in a hug that shook them from their stunned expressions.

{So she isn't even aware that she is doing it. Perhaps it is for the best she remains ignorant. If she thinks, she might hurt somepony with her power, she would be more likely to do it.} Luna thought before she spoke.

"That is a most interesting skill but for now we should continue our journey to the mountain where the dragon has taken refuge." As Luna said this all the ponies agreed except Fluttershy, and Night noticed this.

{The sooner this is resolved the sooner I can get back to training magic. I need to make Fluttershy more resolved to do this.} Night thought as he walked towards Fluttershy, but his path was blocked off by Twilight and Rainbow Dash.

"And just what do you think you are doing?" Twilight asked in a stern voice.

"I just need to speak with Fluttershy to make sure this is resolved as fast as possible so I can return to my training," Night said calmly

"A likely story you can speak from there. I still remember what you threatened to do." Rainbow said in an arrogant voice.

"That was because of magic If I truly wished to fight you then you'd be dead," Night replied annoyed which caused every ponies expression to turn into one of horror. "But that's not important for now Fl-" Night began to say before he was interrupted by Rainbow.

"Ha, I beat you alone when I was going easy on you I can definitely beat you now." Rainbow declared smugly.

"Is that a challenge?" Night asked in a challenging tone as a broad grin appeared on his face. Noticing this tone Luna spoke in a pleading voice.

"No need to fight amongst ourselves, we need to focus on dealing with a dragon," Upon hearing this Dash smirked and said confidently.

"Don't worry princess it won't take any time at all," As Dash said this, she charged towards Night surprising the other ponies. Night merely observed her movements and as she came closer.

{Still So predictable} Night thought as he stepped to the side. Much to his surprise Rainbow changed her course accordingly and headed for him again without changing her speed.

There was no time for Night to step aside again and even if he could, he suspected that it wouldn't be any more effective than it was the first time.

He extended his hands and grabbed Dash's hooves as they came into reach, then jumped from the ground and allowed the force of the blow to carry him rather than taking damage.

Dash wasn't slowing down despite the newly added uneven weight. After a few seconds when she looked up to see why she hadn't felt herself hit a solid mass. She was greeted by Nights broad smile and eyes that made her feathers shiver with fear.

Before she knew what was happening, Night extended his arms and pushed her to the left while propelling himself to the right.

As Night landed, he fell backward and made two complete turns before he rose to his feet with a rather calm and satisfied expression. Rainbow Dash on the other side of Princess Luna and the guards crashed into the ground and left a rather long if shallow line in the dirt road.

As Night headed to Rainbow not knowing if she had withstood his counterattack he was held in place by Luna's voice. "ENOUGH!"

"We should head for the mountain where the dragon awaits. Guards make sure that Miss Rainbow Dash is okay and heal her wounds with magic." Once Luna had finished speaking the guards accepted their orders and helped Rainbow. Shortly after that Night regained the movement of his body but kept staring at Luna before he turned his head towards the other five element bearers and found Fluttershy, and spoke in a commanding voice.

"Why are you doing this Fluttershy?" Fluttershy tried to hide from the intense gaze as she heard the question, but she couldn't. Wanting the attention to be on anything but her she answered meekly.

"Uhm well, I wanted to help make um sure ah that the dragon um didn't hurt anypony, um but ah, I am afraid of dragons." Upon hearing this, the other ponies were surprised but Night spoke calmly before any of them could say anything.

"Then go home. You'll be nothing but a burden like this. Don't worry I will make sure your friends aren't hurt, and if they fail I will kill the dragon." The calm way he spoke about killing made everypony uneasy except for Luna. Fluttershy, however, shouted with determination her eyes flaring.

"You will not kill a dragon. All creatures should live and care for one another!" As Fluttershy was breathing heavily and staring at Night, he merely smiled and answered unaffected by the stare.

"Well then show me your determination, and make sure you don't fail Fluttershy." After saying this, Night walked back to Luna's side, and once Rainbow was healed of her minor bruises and cuts, the group headed for the mountain with an uneasy silence heavy in the air.
