Chapter-36 Mornings [Edited]

Night was awoken by Luna's voice and the bright light of the sun.

"Night wake up you need to clean yourself before the ceremony today."- Luna said in a commanding tone as she pulled the curtains away from Night's bedroom window.

"Uh wha huh ah." Night said in a slurred manner as the sun's piercing rays stabbed into his eyes through the fuzzy form of Luna. Afterwords he turned around and attempted to fall asleep again.

"As "compelling an argument as that is", you need to be presentable, after all you will be taking part in the ceremony. You can't just go out covered in dried blood."- Luna said smirking at how foalish Josh was acting.

" ...me onee ip" Was all the response Luna received before Night pulled the bed sheets over his head.

"That is a fair point but I can't, so accept my apologies." Luna said with a big grin on her face before she used her magic to tear Night away from his bed and levitate his half asleep body next to herself. It was slightly harder as Night's magic was bigger then before and as such it required more magic force to force his body to act but it was still as second nature to Luna who crafted the night sky.

Night stared at Luna with a defiant look on his face as Luna paid it no attention and headed for the bathtub. As Night regained his senses he said in a stern commanding tone "Let me go." -to which Luna's smile became even bigger.

"As you wish." Luna said in a joyful tone before her levitation magic stopped and Night was dropped into a water filled tub.

Night was now fully awake and he stood up in the bathub slightly shivering. Rehydrated blood streaming into the bathtub from his body and clothes. Then he turned on the water and continued to wash himself as he spoke in an angry voice.

"Why did you do this? And wasn't learning magic supposed to make me immune to magic being used on me?"

"Well it's because we shouldn't be late. You will be rewarded for your dispersal of the dragon. As for the magic nothing is immune to magic but the bigger your magic reserve is the harder it will be for others to use magic on you. Of course when you compare your magic reserve with me yours is like a drop of water compared to an ocean. However you only need to reach a level where it isn't feasible for somepony to use magic on you perhaps in a year or two if you keep practicing.." -Luna said in a calm tone and Night thought for a while before he spoke again.

"I suppose the magic part makes sense the heavier something is the harder it is to move it. What do you mean rewarded? I have done nothing but follow your order repaying my debt to you. Furthemore there is nothing you can offer me as a reward. I already have earned an infinite amount of your currency and you claimed that the bond could not be broken. So why did you wake me?"- Night said in an annoyed tone.

"Ahm well you will be given a noble title. It is a rare honour, the only reason you would receive it is because you were not a soldier of Equestia yet fought for our lands."- Luna said a little sheepishly.

"So yet another name to hide behind and I didn't fight for your lands I fought to repay my own debt so I think I will go back to my training in magic once I wash the blood off."- Night said in a calm manner as Luna frowned.

"No, you will receive the title and pretend to enjoy it. If you are to continue the deceit of our relationship you must hold a nobleman's title."-Luna said in an annoyed tone before continuing. " Also my sister has arranged for a date for the two of us which means that you won't be practicing your magic today." -Luna said cringing at the idea.

"Uh I can't wait for the Gala then maybe I could have some time to train my power." Night said grumbling as he unplugged the bathtub and began to clean up the blood from his feet.

"You and me both." Luna said as she noticed the well defined muscles of Night they were less then those of a minotaur but were finely outlined. It might be attractive for others who were into minotaur's but Luna had no such inclinations. "Change you clothes to something a bit less wet unless you want somepony to try and jump you." Luna said in a teasing tone wondering if she can get any reaction from Night.

"They can try to ambush me all they want your guards "skills" are laughable. But what does my state of my clothes have to do with it though?" Night said confidently but with a little bit of confusion in his tone.

"Not what I meant. By jump you i meant try to mate with you." Luna said annoyed that she had to explain herself. As she did a popping sound was heard from her room. As soon as Luna finished speaking Celestia burst the bathroom door off its hinges and pinned Night to a wall with her magic.

"Luna you can not mate with him. You love him I understand that but its too soon you haven't even known each other that long not to mention you must be married before that and..." As Celestia spoke Luna interrupted her by falling to the ground and laughing loudly. Just as Luna was finishing laughing she saw Celestia's confused face and started laughing again. Once Luna finally stopped laughing she spoke barely holding back more laughter.

"Si-sister I was not saying I would jump Night I was merely stating that he should change his clothes to something less wet unless he wishes somepony to try and make their advances on him. Judgeing by how y-you c-can't keep your magic off him I see I was correct." Luna said, a smirk adorning her face.

"No, no I would never." Celestia protested as she blushed letting go of Night.

"Calm down sister it was but a jest or should I consider starting a heard?" Luna said in a teasing tone.

"No th-that would not be necessary." Celestia said as she looked at the floor, her face turning a crimson red.

"Excellent, now that that's out of the way I do believe it's about time we head to the barracks for the ceremony." Luna said in a calm tone.
