A Tale of Many Worlds

Bill floated above the two figures, they were confused and a bit frightened by what stared down at them.

"So... You two are the new arrivals huh? Name's Bill Cipher and have I got something to tell you. Your world has merged with ours, something that's happened here many times, by now there are hundreds maybe even thousands of worlds that have been combined with this one. I know who and what you two boys are, you two are alchemists. However... I've heard rumors of two kids who use alchemy for evil... Mabel and Dipper Pines... Wouldn't it be your duty to stop them? I'll let you think about that for a while... If you want to show them who's boss, then head east from here. Until we meet again!" Bill shouted, before he floated upwards and disappeared from their sights.

"Brother...? Can we trust him? Should we trust him?" The large figure asked, although he was larger his voice was younger sounding.

The smaller figure seemed to think about this, before he replied "I'm not sure Al... I'm not sure..."

Sonic handed the plate of food to Mabel who sat down at the table. He had been doing all the cooking and cleaning lately, mostly because Fluttershy was coming near her due date. He just couldn't wait to see what they looked like, from what the doctors had told them they were having twins, but that didn't satisfy his curiosity. He just wanted to know if he was having a little boy to maybe play a few sports with, or a little girl whose quills/mane he would brush out every night. He just couldn't help it, he was excited. He looked over and saw Fluttershy sitting on a chair with a few animals nearby, they would often move near and comfort her, but otherwise they just wanted to be next to her. Dipper was sitting at the table, jabbing at his salad with a fork, but not really eating it, he was reading the journal again. Sonic sighed, moved over and took the journal before placing it on a shelf.

"Eat. Then you can read. I may not be your father, or your great uncle, but as long as you live in our house, you'll follow our rules. Understood?" Sonic looked at Dipper who nodded before eating his food. "That's better. I've got some chores to take care of, if you guys need anything come and get me." Sonic said, before he moved back into the kitchen and began to clean up. "Actually, you two can help me. I need some things from the market, once you're done would you go and get them for me?" Sonic asked.

"Sure. We'd be happy to help. Right Dipper?" Mabel asked, and Dipper agreed. The finished their food and quickly grabbed a few bits off the counter before running outside towards Ponyville. Once they arrived they noticed a strange pair of people there, standing just on the outskirts of town, it seemed like town was deserted, there was no one out there, not even a single insect seemed to near the place. Dipper knew that something was wrong, he grabbed Mabel's hand. but before they could hide the two began to approach them.

One was shorter and blonde, with a red jacket, a black shirt, a pair of black pans, and black shoes. The other was taller and appeared to be wearing some heavy form of armor.

"Excuse me." The larger one said, with a voice that sounded around the twins age. "We're looking for someone. Dipper and Mabel. Have you seen them?" He asked, but Dipper shook his head.

"Sorry. I wouldn't know where they are... We really need to get going, so goodbye!" Dipper said, pulling Mabel back towards Fluttershy and Sonic's home.

"They were looking for you two? Why'd you lie to them?" Sonic asked, while Fluttershy sat nearby chatting with Rarity and Rainbow Dash.

"You don't understand. I got a bad feeling when I saw them... A bad feeling in my gut, like they wanted us for something... Something evil..." Dipper explained, and Sonic nodded in understanding. Sonic suddenly let out a quick gasp and grabbed his head. "Sonic what's wrong!?" Dipper asked.

"Flutters! I've got the gitchy feeling!" Sonic said, his voice sounded worried.

"Gitchy feeling?" Mabel asked, tilting her head in confusion.

"It's an awful feeling that makes your head swim and your knees wobble." Rarity began to explain, but Rainbow Dash finished.

"It means something bad is gonna happen!" She exclaimed, which made Dipper even more nervous.

"Do you think it has to do with those two that the twins mentioned?" Fluttershy asked, and Sonic shrugged.

Sonic rose onto his feet. "I intend to find out. Dipper, Mabel, stay behind me. We're going to find out what these two want."

The two newbies looked at Sonic as Dipper and Mabel hid behind his legs, occasionally peeking out from behind him. Next to him was Jenny, and the larger newbie felt something inside of him.

"She's... So beautiful..." He muttered, but the blonde looked at him.

"She's a machine. Besides remember what we're here for." He whispered, but Sonic began to speak up.

"You two are new around here. Can I have your names?" Sonic asked.

"I'm Edward Elric, and this is my younger brother Alphonse Elric." The blonde said, but Sonic looked confused.

"He's the little brother? I thought it would have been you shorty." Sonic said, but this seemed to anger Ed... No, it definitely angered Ed.

"WHO ARE YOU CALLING SO SHORT YOU CAN'T EVEN SEE HIM UNDER A MICROSCOPE!?" Edward asked, now outraged, luckily Alphonse was holding him back.

"Just tell me what you two want." Sonic said, and Alphonse began to speak up.

"We're looking for two kids. Dipper and Mabel Pines. Have you seen them?" Alphonse asked, and Sonic nodded.

"They're standing right behind me, but if you wanna get them, you'll have to go through us!" Sonic shouted, as he Jenny rushed at the two.

"W-Wait a minute! I think there's been a misunderstand..." Edward didn't get to finish, for Jenny's fist slammed into his cheek.

"Brother!?" Alphonse asked, but Sonic slammed into his head with a homing attack, knocking off the helmet, causing the suit of armor to fall onto the ground. Sonic noticed something about the armor, the fact that it was completely empty.

"Did he get out of there before I hit him?" Sonic asked himself, but much to his shock the armor grabbed him ankle and threw him into the air. The armor punched Sonic in his back, causing him to go flying to the side of a building. "Ouch..." Sonic muttered as he fell off. Jenny managed to get a few hits off on Edward, but tore the sleeve off his right arm, revealing a fake limb.

"Huh?" Jenny asked, but Edward used her confusion to slam his metal fist into her face, knocking her away.

"Listen, we just have a few questions for them!" Edward shouted, which made them stop.

"We were told they were using Alchemy to do bad things. We just wanted to speak with them." Alphonse said, placing the helmet back on.

"Alchemy? We don't know anything about Alchemy!" Dipper shouted, which made the brothers face each other.

"So we couldn't trust him... I knew it..." Edward said, but this only made Sonic worry.

"Who? Who spoke to you?" Sonic asked, and Alphonse placed his hand under his chin.

"He said his name was Bill... Was it Bill Cipher?" That statement made the twins gasp in shock.

"I should have known. You can't trust Bill. He's some kind of mind demon!" Sonic explained, but was tackled by Rainbow Dash.

"SONIC! WE'VE GOT A PROBLEM!" She shouted, but before Sonic could ask anything she began to shout again. "IT'S FLUTTERSHY! IT'S TIME!" She added, which made Sonic's eyes widen.

"You mean...!?" Sonic began, but Rainbow Dash cut him off.

"You're gonna be a dad!" She said, before flying off towards the hospital. Sonic stood there in shock, before he took off running after her, with a large smile.

"I'M A DAD!" He shouted happily, leaving the other five standing there confused.
