A Tale of Many Worlds

Dipper watched as the white unicorn took his measurements for a suit, after all he needed a new one. From what Dipper could gather her name is Rarity and she runs this place. She then stopped and allowed him to get off the stool, so that Mabel could get measured for a dress.

"I must say it is very nice to meet both of you. I'm sure you'll like it here in Ponyville. After all we are a very diverse area now, I can still remember the first merge. Sonic and his friends and come here, and with them they brought a few... Undesirable... Ones as well... Like that Scourge fellow... He's nothing but trouble, so I'd stay away from him if I were you... Although he's not as bad as Jet... Even more arrogant than Rainbow Dash... However he's not even the worst... That would probably be Eggman... Ruthless scientist bent of taking over the planet and all the different worlds that have merged together." Rarity said, and Dipper was still very confused.

"All right you're done, I'll let you know when they're finished and then you'll really shine with perfection!" Rarity said with a large grin.

"Thank you. We've got to get going..." Dipper said, not wanting to stay there anymore. They rushed out and found themselves met with a purple pony who let out a gasp of shock.

"You scared me..." She said, and Dipper took notice of something. She had both a horn and wings.

"Sorry. Rarity just got us measured up..." Dipper explained.

"So you're new around here, right? I am Princess Twilight Sparkle. If you'll excuse me I need to get things ready for Princesses Celestia and Luna." Twilight said, walking around the twins and entering the building.

"That was... Strange... She didn't even ask who we were." Dipper said, but Mable poked his cheek.

"She's a Princess. She probably has royaly princessesy stuff to do." Mabel commented, but that still didn't mean she hadn't been rude.

"She mentioned more Princesses... Are they all related? I guess we'll find out..." Dipper said, he reached a hand into his jacket and pulled out the Journal. He began to flip through the pages and found one that seemed to interest him, there were pages on two creatures known as 'Alicorns'. He began to read the pages and found himself getting pulled into the information.

Princess Celestia. Princess Celestia is a god like being that controls unimaginable powers like her younger sister, Luna. She is responsible for raising the sun the morning, and taking care of her subjects. Dipper looked at the drawing and found that Celestia was a being with a blue, green ,and pink mane and tail, she wore mostly white and gold colored dresses. Dipper turned the page and looked at the other Princess listed in the book.

Princess Luna. Princess Luna is a god like being that controls unimaginable powers like her older sister, Celestia. She is responsible for raising the moon in the evening, and taking care of her subjects. It should be noted that Luna had been banished to the surface of the moon for one thousand years, for betraying her sister and Equestria, as a being that called herself Nightmare Moon. However thanks to the efforts of those who controlled the Elements of Harmony, they managed to return Luna to her normal self.  See pg. 45 for more information on Nightmare Moon. Dipper sighed, this book was useful, which made him question why Bill had given it to them in the first place. What was he planning and what would it do to them? Dipper wasn't sure but suddenly the book was yanked from his grasp and he looked upwards to see a pegasus sitting on a cloud, holding the Journal.

"So whatcha got here? Some kind of nerd book for eggheads?" She asked, which made Dipper angry.

"Hey! Give it back!" Dipper shouted, he tried jumping to grab the book, but found that he was a single millimeter too short. (1) Mabel was no where in sight so that meant that he was on his own.

"Relax little guy. I'm just messing with you. Here take it." She handed Dipper back the Journal and then began to introduce herself. "Name's Rainbow Dash. Fastest thing alive!" She said, which confused Dipper.

"I thought Sonic was the fastest thing alive..." Dipper said, but Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes.

"He beat me in ONE race. That's all... I let him win... That's it..." She said, before flying away at a slow pace. Dipper opened the journal and continued moving around Ponyville, hoping to find either his sister or someone he knew. Dipper bumped into someone and moved he journal away from his face. The first thing he saw was a spear pointed at his nose.

"Back away from the Princesses! That is an order!" The stallion holding onto the edge shouted. Dipper found himself unable to move,  he looked down at his feet and saw a pair of hand holding his feet down. He knew instantly that this was Bill's work.

"Back away! I'm warning you! I will not hesitate to strike." The guard shouted, and Dipper still found himself unable to walk away. "That's it..." The guard muttered, before moving to attack Dipper. Sonic jumped out of nowhere and kicked the spear out of the guard's hands.

"Not on my watch!" Sonic yelled, and once the guard saw him he took a few steps back and frowned.

"What are you doing!?" The guard yelled, which just made Dipper even more confused than he already was.

"Look. This kid is under my protection. So you leave him alone!" Sonic said, and the guard began to growl.

"Who made you king?" The guard asked tauntingly.

"Caliburn did. (2)" Sonic replied. The guard was interrupted by a pure white hand moving in front of his face. There stood Princess Celestia, who had a look of disappointment.

"Sonic. I am terribly sorry for the way my guard reacted. It is just that you know things have been on edge lately..." She said, while Sonic frowned.

"I know... Between Eggman and the Zerg this town is almost always under attack..." Sonic spoke, but Dipper simply stared at the Princess.

"Your world has recently merged with ours, correct?" Celestia asked, and Dipper nodded. "Then I am pleased to meet you. I am Princess Celestia, I help rule over Equestria with the help of my younger sister Luna, my niece Cadance, and my student Twilight Sparkle. You are?" Celestia said with a smile.

"Dipper... Dipper Pines..." Dipper responded, and soon Luna joined by Celestia's side.

"Sister? Is there something wrong?" Luna asked, but Sonic shook his head.

"Just meeting one of the newbies." Sonic motioned towards Dipper. Luna went to introduce herself, but Dipper cut her off.

"You're Princess Luna, right? You raise the moon each night?" Dipper asked, and Luna was astounded as to how he knew this.

"Yes... How did...?" Luna began, but Dipper pulled out the Journal.

"It's written in here. It was given to me as a gift... From someone I don't particularly care for..." Dipper answered, which made Sonic grin.

"If you're talking about that equilateral triangle guy, then I can agree that he is not someone I would want to meet in a dark alley." Sonic said, but before the Princesses could ask what he meant, Bill appeared next to Sonic.

"Aw, you flatter me Sonic. Your compliments fill me with joy. Or do they fill me with cheese pudding? It's one of two. So how you liking your gift Pine Tree?" Bill asked, but the sudden appearance of this creature began to draw a crowd.

"Look, Bill or whatever your name is! How many times do I have to say, you mess with my friends... You mess with me?" Sonic asked, but Bill shrugged. Mabel had burst through the crowd and took her place by Dipper's side.

"Possibly thirty nine thousand five hundred and sixty eight more times." Bill responded, before turning to face the Princesses. "So you two are in charge around this place? I'm just gonna give you a little warning. I've got big plans for not only Equestria, but for this entire planet as well! Remember... I'll be watching you... Always watching... (3)" Bill said, before floating backwards.

"Even when we're sleeping?" Mabel asked, and Bill began to laugh.

"Especially when you're sleeping!" Bill responded before he disappeared in a cloud of purple mist.

"Well... That was... Something..." Sonic muttered, but then noticed the large group of Marines and Terran soldiers rushing towards the edge of town. A loud voice was projected across the town, and it caused everyone to gasp and flee. Sonic grabbed Dipper and Mabel before bolting towards him home, all while the message continued to repeat.
