A Tale of Many Worlds

Sonic stood outside of the library, mostly because he was waiting on Dipper, who had become a little book worm since arriving here, little did the hedgehog know that he was being watched. Sonic sighed, for Dipper had been inside for about an hour now. Sonic then noticed something strange, a small red dot on his chest.

"Well... That's not good..." Sonic muttered, before he dashed to his left, a second later a large orb of electricity hit the spot he had his feet. Sonic jumped forward and tackled the attacked, who had been hiding in some bushes. What the attacker was surprised him. It was a robot, only it was in the shape of a teenage girl. She was aqua and white, with a pair of aqua eyes. What stood out though was the symbol that had been stuck to her. It was Eggman's symbol, a strange version of his face. Sonic realized that this thing had been sent by Eggman.

"Now you'll get it!" She shouted, before jumping forward. Her hand retracted and out popped a large hammer, that was aimed directly for the hedgehog's head. Sonic avoided the attack and kicked her in the face.

"Look I don't know who you are, or what you want, but you've messed with the wrong hedgehog!" Sonic shouted, before grabbing her by the arm and throwing her into the library.

"Just give up and let me destroy you!" She yelled, jumping at him and trying to grab him by the head. Sonic grinned and jumped away from the robot and landed on her back.

"Oh come on! At least try to put up a fight!" Sonic said, before he felt her wrap her hand around his ankle. She had extended her arm and used that trick to grab him. Sonic frowned before getting thrown onto the ground and receiving several blows to the back of his head. Sonic curled into a ball and began to build up speed, he shot forward and slammed into robot. She kicked him in the stomach and punched his head. Sonic landed on his feet and looked up at her, she grinned before two large rocket launchers activated, and fired. Sonic ran and jumped over the missiles and they followed him, but Sonic had a plan. He jumped and ran behind the robot, whose eyes widened upon seeing the incoming missiles. They slammed into her and detonated, causing a large explosion that launched the robot upwards. Sonic jumped into the air and slammed him feet down on her stomach, knocking her down onto the ground, making her let out a loud cry of shock. Sparks flew from her body, and she fell to her knees. Sonic got down to her eye level and smiled.

"You tell Eggman that no matter how many robots he sends I will not let them terrorize anyone here!" Sonic said, starting to shout, before he kicked the robot away. Sonic grinned and looked back at the crowd that he had attracted and they began to cheer for him. However a laughing got all of their attention.

"You truly are all fools... I have come to deliver a message. My master is finished with the book..." The robot that had assaulted Mabel revealed itself, which Dipper and Mabel gasped at seeing. "He wishes for me to destroy it... And I will... However I want to see the look in your eyes as I do so... The pain you'll feel knowing that this book that helped you for so long... Wile be reduced to nothing..."

"Save your threats for someone else! You'll never drain our spirits Metal Sonic!" Sonic shouted, and the robot turned to face him.

"I do this not to harm you... Rather... Them..." Metal Sonic pointed at the twins, and he snapped his fingers causing a small flame to start. Metal raised his fingers to the book and it caught on fire. The book slowly started to burn and it was eventually reduced to ash. The twins let out shocked gasps and Metal Sonic began to laugh again.

Suddenly something slammed into Metal Sonic, cutting off his laughter and replacing it with a confused groan.

"You lying, back stabbing, two-faced, double crossing, idiotic jerk!" The teenage robot shouted, while she mercilessly beat Metal Sonic, but much to her surprise, he turned into a silver liquid and began to slither away from under her, until he was gone.

"You know you've got a lot of nerve showing your face around here so soon..." Sonic said, the robot took on a sad looked and sighed.

"I... I wanted to apologize..." She spoke with a sad tone, which surprised many of them.

"Apologize? Why? I thought you hated me!" Sonic asked, but the robot shook her head.

"I was tricked... This man approached me and said that you destroyed innocent robots for fun... But based on what you had said earlier...I guess I was lied to... That robot was there too..." She explained, and Sonic suddenly took a step forward.

"This man... Was he fat? Shaped like an egg? Goggles and glasses?" Sonic asked, now curious.

"Yeah! Big stupid mustache?" She asked, which made Sonic burst into laughter.

"Exactly! Oh you may have tried to kill me about five minutes ago, but you just made my day!" Sonic shouted.

"I'm really sorry... I understand if you want me to leave..." She said, but Sonic grinned.

"What's your name?" Sonic asked, and she smiled.

"Well... I was given the name XJ9, but my friends call me Jenny." She said, and Sonic shook her hand.

"Nice to meet you Jenny. So I take it Eggman explained what happened... The Merge and all." Sonic said, and Jenny nodded. "Well, welcome to Ponyville!" Sonic said with a large grin and he began to laugh. "Stupid mustache... Not as funny as Baldy Nosehair, but it'll do..."

Dipper moved and lifted the ashes of Vol. 3 in his hands, he could only watch as they were blow away in the wind.
