A Tale of Many Worlds

Jenny would have to admit that this was strange, she'd never really seen a place like this before... What she was used to was aliens, monsters, and other robots... However humanoid ponies? A talking hedgehog? That was strange, and there was no telling how much stranger it could get. After all she was the newest arrival. She did have with her two friends, but they stayed behind in the forest while she took on Sonic. She would need to go and get them, but from what she's heard that forest is dangerous, meaning she might need some backup. Sonic had agreed to come with, while he had also recruited the assistance of the Pine twins, not to mention the reluctant pegasus Fluttershy.

"My friends should be this way." Jenny said as she began to lead them forward.

"So, all of you seem to be afraid of this forest... What makes it so dangerous?" Mabel asked, while Sonic shrugged.

"If you don't count all the vicious monsters ready to rip off your face at a moments notice then it just weirds the ponies out. They freak out, mostly because the animals here take care of themselves, the clouds move on their own, and the plants grow without any assistance. I mean, it's just like my world before the merge, and if you guys come from worlds with humans then it might be the same." Sonic replied, which seemed to make sense to Mabel.

"Brad? Tuck?" Jenny shouted, trying to locate her friends. "Where are you? I made a mistake! Sonic isn't the enemy! It's the guy who talked to us!" She yelled, but received no response, until she saw Tuck peek his head out from behind a tree.

"What? He's not gonna destroy you for fun?" Tuck asked, who was a kid.

"No. He only fights robots that pose threats to anyone innocent... Where's Brad?" Jenny asked, noticing the older teen was not there.

"He went for a walk, he's been gone for a few minutes..." Tuck replied, and Sonic nodded before dashing off. Sonic returned holding a teenage human, with a confused look. He had red hair, wore a white shirt with a black vest, a pair of tan khakis, and black shoes.

"Uh... Jenny? Why is the guy we came here to beat carrying me?" He asked, but Jenny began to giggle.

"That's the thing. He's not the bad guy, the man that told us about him is. He's a hero." Jenny explained, while Tuck approached. He wore a red shirt with a black color and a single back stripe across his belly, a pair of blue jeans, and a pair of black shoes.

"How did you run so fast?" Tuck asked, astounded with the hedgehog's speed.

"Heh. I can run at the speed of sound! Nothing can beat me in a race!" Sonic bragged. They quickly began to leave the Everfree, knowing that it gets very dangerous at night, but they noticed the sun setting.

"Well... I hope all of you are ready for a shock..." Sonic muttered, but much to his surprise the sun began to dart around randomly, but it seemed to be tugged downwards, however it fought, and began to drop towards the planet. "Looks like Mr. Bright is coming to visit..." Sonic said, as the sun appeared to shrink and landed next to them.

"Geez, that Princess is getting on my nerves! Maybe I want to make the day a little longer for the summer time! She just won't listen to reason..." The Sun said with a huff, he had two arms with white gloved hands at the end and a simple face. Two black eyes and a mouth.

Sonic shrugged and Mr. Bright sighed.

"You just don't get it... Mr. Shine gets treated with respect, his Alicorn treats him fairly! Why do I have to be paired with that stupid Sun Princess?" Mr. Bright said, but Sonic looked upwards as the moon began to rise into the sky. However it stayed bright where Mr. Shine was. He floated off and eventually the darkness settled in, and Sonic grabbed his chest in pain. He fell to the ground and his gloves began to rip open, his nails grew into claws, his teeth began to sharped and longed, his fur began to grow out and he stood up with a loud howl.

"AAAAAAH!" Tuck began to shout, freaked out by Sonic's transformation.

"Calm down kid! It happens every time the nighttime light hits me. I turn normal with the light of day, and the cycle repeats itself." Sonic explained, but then he felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned to face what appeared to be a large mix-up of animals wearing a Hawaiian shirt, and a pair of sunglasses.

"Aloha! Did you all miss me?" Discord asked, but Sonic frowned.

"What happened? I thought you were off on vacation... traveling and visiting all the different worlds that have merged together..." Sonic said, but Discord laughed.

"I've visited them all, I also brought back some souvenirs!" Discord said with a grin, he snapped and Sonic was wearing a baseball cap with a pine tree on it. Sonic sighed and took the hat off. Discord snapped again, and Fluttershy was wearing a long green dress. "Well? Do you like them? Do you love them?" Discord asked, and Sonic nodded.

"Why are you back so soon though? Surely you haven't been everywhere yet." Sonic said, but Discord began to chuckle.

"Of course I went everywhere! Also, don't call me 'Shirley', my name is Discord. When I heard about the Zerg attack, I wrapped up what I was doing and decided that I'd traveled enough. So aren't you going to introduce me to your new friends?" Discord asked, leaning over the hedgehog.

"Discord, this is Dipper and Mabel Pines. This is Jenny, Brad, and Tuck. Now if you'll excuse me... I'm heading inside. I need to clean up." Sonic said, and then stopped moving. "Discord, stay away from the bathroom!" Sonic shouted, but Discord began to laugh.

"You aren't still upset about what happened are you?" He asked, and Sonic nodded.

"You turned the water into Cockroaches! Why would I not be made about that!?" Sonic asked, trying his best to restrain himself.

"You always are more hostile when you're like this... So are the rumors I've heard true?" Discord questioned, pushing Sonic and Fluttershy close together. "Are you two... Expecting?" Discord asked, and Sonic slowly nodded. "Oh joy! Finally someone to share my knowledge and talents of chaos with!" Discord said happily, but Sonic took a step forward.

"No way, no how! My kids are not going to be using chaos for fun like you do! If anything, they'll learn to use the good kind of chaos, the kind that I can control!" Sonic shouted, taking out a dark blue gem. "The Chaos Emeralds have positive and negative energy, I'll teach them to use the positive energy and do good with it, instead of random pranks and mischief like you would!" Sonic added, but Discord rolled his eyes.

"Please, they have to spend some time their Uncle Discord." Discord said, and Sonic's eyes widened.

"What?! I never said you'd be their uncle! You're not my brother, you're not Fluttershy's brother, you are not their uncle!" Sonic yelled, and Discord sighed.

"Please...?" Discord said, but Sonic shook his head. "Pretty please...?" Sonic didn't budge. "Pretty please with sprinkles...?" Sonic continued to glare. "Pretty please on a chili dog...?" Sonic sighed and nodded. Discord let out a happy chuckle and began to do a little victory dance. Jenny wasn't sure what this creature is, but it was certainly interesting...
