A Tale of Many Worlds

Bill floated towards the large and run down looking building, it was grimy and gloomy, falling apart, the perfect place for the scum of this world to gather. Bill floated to the entrance and read the sign that hung above the door.

"Members Only, unless invited" Bill hummed to himself as he thought of a plan. Then it hit him, with a wave of his hand a card appeared in his hand. Bill knocked on the door three times and a small slot opened. He saw a pair of flowing yellow eyes.

"What's the password?" It asked.

"Eggman." Bill replied, and another slot opened.

"Invitation. Now." Bill handed the card and the door opened to reveal a green insect like creature, it had an obvious mouth and was wearing light armor with heavy weapons. "Get in." Bill floated inside, past the alien creature and stopped when he saw a table with a few interesting looking characters around it. One was obviously a scientist, with a red coat, black pants and shoes, a large red mustache and a pair of glasses. One was a large turtle like creature, its green shell was covered in spikes and it had fiery red hair, with several black bands around his arms and neck. Finally was a feminine creature, bee like with yellow green stripes, she seemed to be intelligent. Bill chuckled knowing he'd found the perfect group to join.

"So is this seat taken, or am I free to join?" Bill asked, but the turtle like creature propped its feet up on the stool that Bill had pointed at. "I get it, you don't know me so I may be a threat... Which one of you freaks is the leader of this group? You Eggman? Bowser? Vexus?" Bill asked, and the three villains exchanged uneasy glances.

"How do you know our...?" Eggman began, but Bill cut him off.

"I know lots of things. LoTs Of ThInGs..." Bill said, his voice turning deeper at the last part, and several images flashed through his body like some horrific television. It stopped suddenly and Bill moved next to Eggman. "Hey, want to see a trick?" Bill asked, and didn't wait for a response. Bill touched the glass of whiskey that Eggman held, and a large crab claw reached out of the glass and tried to grab the now frightened scientist.

"GAH!" Eggman threw the glass across the room, where it shattered on the wall and the claw disappeared. "W-W-What do you want from us!?" Eggman asked, and Bill began to laugh.

"I want to make a deal... I have a little... Pest problem... So what I propose is a team up... The four of us work together in order to defeat all our foes! Sounds great right? With all of us working together, there is absolutely no way we could lose...!" Bill had been shouting, while he was unaware of a metal object slowly moving towards him, it moved with an occasional twitch and then struck, spearing the mind demon, who began to laugh. "Well, it seems I've been impaled..." Bill said, still happy and with no sign of injury besides the spear like tail having been stabbed through his body. The tail lifted him up and bill found himself looking into the glowing eyes of a beast that would send the Manotaurs running like babies. The large metal dragon stared at Bill before speaking.

"You come in here, put one of my allies in danger, and then you have the audacity to ask for cooperation!? You either are very stupid... Or have very big balls..." It said, before flicking its tail and flinging the mind demon away.

"Ridley right? I understand that you have a mortal nemesis too. We can take her out as well..." Bill said, reaching out a hand which was soon engulfed in a spooky blue fire. Ridley seemed to contemplate this, before grabbing Bill's hand with his own. "We've got a deal! Now then we need to get started on a great plan to take down those heroes..." Bill said, with a malicious look in his eye.
