I ran directly downhill slipping and sliding trying to keep my balance while trying to get away. I didn't look back just kept running. There was mud and dirt stuck to me all over. I'm pretty sure I have a few open cuts from when I fell, but my mind was racing so fast I wouldn't of felt the pain anyway.

I didn't recognize anything. My mind had barely processed what just happened but I was used to it by now. I ran further down the hill coming to a stretch of flat land where I was surrounded by ferns and no trees at all. I ran for about another minute before I heard the dragons cry again.

"oh fuck" I said.

Hide. Gotta hide. I dived under a large fern as I watched threw the fern fly overhead. It was searching for me. It landed down on the ground ages away causing the earth to shake. it let out a breath of fire lighting up the trees in front of me.

"Had he found me?" I whispered.

Wait I know, he's trying to flush me out! So I cant run away. The dragon turned around lifting off into the air lighting up the ground below him as he flew off. I begun to run again this time even faster then I thought possible. The fire spread fast little ashes kicking up around me. I jumped over a log falling down a hill into a boulder.

"ah fucking, FUCK!" I said in pain holding my head. I limped off trying to kick up speed again only going half as fast as before. The trees I were in were tall covering me of exposure to the dragon. At least I thought that. A giant ball of fire came hurling at me causing a long line fire I couldn't cross. I looked above to see if the dragon had seen me but he just flew over top. I ran along the line of fire looking for a break in the line. The fire was Slowly spreading further and further outwards making the line of fire even thicker. The intense heat was enough to kill you.

While I was running along I found a rock I could use to jump over the fire. I climbed up the rock and looked at the line of fire and then back at my leg.

"screw it!" I said jumping over it. I landed with a roll limping away trying to run away from the fire that was starting to go as fast as me.

After what was probably 10 minutes I fell out of the edge of the forest seeing the house! OK I didn't see it but I know its there. Without hesitation I ran towards faster and faster. I ran

threw the force field (I have a spell on me so I can enter and leave at my will)

"OPEN UP!" I screamed at the front door and pounding on it. "OPEN IT, OPEN IT, I'M GONNA DIE!!!" I cried.

Sunny opened the door and I fell threw landing on my side.

"OH MY GOD, Sombra whats happened to you." Sunny said

"HE'S DEAD" I cried tears falling down my face.

Sunny shook her head "what? who" Sunny said taking a step back.

I lunged into Sunny grabbing her shoulders. "Cosmos is dead, the dragon killed him and now he's coming for me if we dont do something were gonna die. WE GOTTA GO!" I screamed crying into Sunny's chest.

Sunny didn't do anything for a few seconds. "No" Sunny said letting go of me. "no I don't believe you" Sunny said looking at me holding her head high.

"Well you better believe it because if you look above the trees your gonna see what I mean!" I yelled. Without hesitation Sunny ran outside and flew up high.

"SOMBRA!?" I heard Tia excitedly say. "your back but what's all the- Sombra whats wrong with you!" Tia cried.

"Tia come here" I said. Unsure of herself Tia walked over to me. "OK Tia" I said kneeling down to her.

"Sombra your burnt" She said pointing out a burn on my thigh I didn't even see. She was scared. I could tell in her voice. Maybe it was of me.

"look some bad things are going on, But I need you to stay brave. Can you do that for me?" I said trying to be the best brother I could.

"Your scaring me... where's Dad?" Tia asked. "Look Dad's not here, but I am" I said wiping some tears from my eyes.

Sunny entered back in the door closing it behind her.

"Mum whats going on?" Tia said. Sunny ignored her and looked off into space.

"Tia where's your sister." I said.

"She's asleep in her room I wanna know whats happening?!" Tia said becoming rowdy.

Before I could open my mouth Sunny did. "Tia go to your room, Sombra go there's to." Without hesitation I picked up Tia and took her to her room.

I closed the door behind me and Tia was getting upset. tears rolling down her cheek "OK I wanna know where my Dad is and whats wrong with him." Tia said

What do I say? Do I just tell her and be honest or wait and not tell her. I walked over to Lulu shaking her.

"Lulu wake up" I said. Lulu rolled over and opened her eyes. her initial reaction was happiness but then she was scared and confused.

"Sombra you have blood on your cheek" She said pointing to my face. I lifted her up and put her on my back.

"I know just come with me." I walked over to the door grabbing Tia's hoof and taking her with me.

We went out into the hall and I saw Sunny walking towards us a good 20 feet away.

"Sunny what are we doing?" I asked.

"Go to the lounge to the lounge now-" Before Sunny could continue a giant boulder came crashing threw between us. The stair case blew into thousands of tiny pieces, the roof falling in between us. Paintings and vases on pedastools were no more. Tia and Lulu screamed clinging to me.

Not 5 seconds later I heard the roar of the dragon crashing threw the building landing on top of her. "MUM!" Tia and Lulu screamed. Once again paralyzed with fear I did what I initially thought was best. Lifting Tia on to my back I ran away going up a different flight of stairs I heard the dragon taunt me from behind "I've waited longer than you know for this moment."

I ran up threw the third floor the dragon crashed threw in front of me blowing fire. I turned around trying to keep both the screaming fillies on my back. I went up the stair case looking below me as I saw the dragon burst threw the third floor. "Oh shit" I yelled. Everything begun to fall. The staircase begun to collapse falling over diagonally. I clinged onto Tia and Lulu as the house begun to topple over. The house landed on its side shattering everything around causing me to pass out.

My eyelids opened slowly all I saw burning rocks and shattered bricks . Lulu was shaking me moving her lips but I couldn't understand what she was saying with a ringing sound in my ear. I saw Tia in the distance lying down blood coming from her stomach. With a mighty boom the dragon landed down in front of me. My mind wasn't fazed but Lulu took a few steps back leaving my sight. I rolled onto my front trying to get up as the dragon moved in closer towards me. I felt my bod begin to shut down again as I toppled over passing out.

I didn't open my eyes, I felt to weak too. I felt cold, freezing. I could feel the wind in my face and my cheeks numb. Something was holding me. I opened my eyes my vision coming too. All I saw was snow on the ground at least 100 feet from the grou- Wait where am I! My eyes sprung all delirious from passing out. I looked up above me. I saw the dragon, flying! With me in its claws!

"HELP!" I screamed.

"Shut up" I heard Lulu say. I looked to my right and saw Lulu there right next to me. I didn't even feel her my shoulders were that cold.

"he'll hear you. He thinks were asleep." She said. I didn't say a thing but looked back up at him. He didn't looked fazed, upset or happy he just flew onward.

"What happened?" I said tears coming to my eyes. Lulu begun to form tears too

"I dunno. I tried to shake Mummy but she wouldn't listen. She had blood all over and a, a..." Lulu broke down in tears. She was in a even worse state than me.

"Lulu listen to me" I said. Lulu looked up at me.

"yes, I'm pretty sure Sunny is dead, Cosmos is too but we cant cry now. We can cry all we want later but now we have to think about us and getting out of here. Your parents would want us to

do that they want us to get out of here." I said.

Lulu choked on some tears. "I-i dunno if I can" Lulu sobbed.

"you can! Don't ever say you can't because when you say that, that means you'll never give yourself the chance to do it." I said.

Lulu tried to swallow her fears taking in everything I said.

"OK" She said.

"OK! Now wheres our sister" I said. "she's in his other claw." She said. "are you sure?" I said. "no- I mean yes, but she hasnt said anything. Shes asleep."

Asleep from a 6 year old would mean passed out. Great.

"OK um... do you know where we are. Lulu looked down at the ground looking hard.

"The frozen north. There's nothing out here. Well that's what my books say. He must be taking us to his cave. Dragons live in caves right?" Lulu said.

The flight went on for another 30 minutes. everything got colder the blizzards so harsh I could barely see in front of me. I kept trying to reassure Lulu we would be alright reminding her of

how I was here to protect her but I'm starting to think it's a lost cause.

I looked around some more thinking deeply.

"Hey, do you wanna hear a joke." I said. There was no response

"Lulu?" I said looking over to her She was out, or asleep. Little bits of ice on her face causing her to turn a lighter shade of blue.

"Lulu?" I said softly. "Lulu wake up" There was no response I couldn't feel the breath of her breathing. "Lulu wake up... WAKE UP!" I shouted. Lulu opened one eye slowly.

"I-i'm sorry... I-i-i-i-i was trying to s-sleep" Lulu said her eyes half open.

"Its fine. Try and stay warm OK." I said. Lulu did a small nod before closing her eyes again.

"whoa!" I shouted. The dragon shifted its course. He spread his wings out gliding, we were making a descent! As the dragon made its way down I started to see big rocks covered in snow. A

mountain? . A mountain were headed straight into! The dragon turned its course again going into a nose dive before pulling up again and flying into a hole in the mountain.

Inside the cave was massive. The best way I could describe it was like a giant cylinder. The ground was covered with what had to be millions of dollars in gold, jewelry, ornaments, money, everything.

"Oh shit" I said as the dragon begun to land. Is he gonna squash us? The dragon let go us.

"AHHHHHHhhhhh!" I yelled as I fell into the giant pool of money. I tumbled down it hundreds of coins spraying up in the air as I hit the bottom. I rubbed the back of my head and then

remembered the others.

"Lulu! Tia" I shouted.

I looked around nervously and saw Tia facing the other way lying on her side. I ran over to her the giant amounts of money limiting my speed. I skidded over to her holding her. She was a wreck, Blood all down her stomach. A bit of wood was stuck in her. Several scratches and grazes. "Tia" I said shaking her a little. I put her back down deciding on what to do.

A giant gush of fire came over the hill of money, I just fell down and went limp holding Tia. The dragon walked over it down on the ground ready to pounce. Do I run and I leave her? Or do I stay?! Neither option mattered now because the dragons tail circled around us closing us in like trapped rats.

"Why did you bring us here" I shouted. The dragon continued to circle letting out a puff of smoke from his nose.

"feeding" was all he said.

I heard a giant crash behind me. Two, two dragons! This one was much, much smaller like a child. He had golden scales and teeth as sharp blades. I presumed this was his son. His eyes were red and his tail bared three giant spikes at the end of it.

"FEAST!" The bigger dragon roared taking off into the air flying up threw the cylinder into a smaller hole.

The dragon crouched down, coming towards us. Each step made a splash of money. I looked back down at Tia and saw her innocent battered face. I looked back up at the dragon walking even faster towards us. Without hesitation I got up put Tia on my back and ran. The dragon roared now running after us. I veered to the right sliding down the hill of money. The dragon skidded changing it's direction, more money and ornaments flicking up into the air as it ran after us. I tried to keep a steady balance as I ran down the slope so I didn't hurt Tia. Some flat land not covered in money! I ran fast as I could trying to find someway out.

"HERE!" I heard Lulu shout out. I looked around and saw her hiding in a small hole in the wall. I ran over to her as fast as I could and placed Tia down gently in front of her. "Stay here

and look after her!" I said turning around.

"Wait!" Lulu said tugging on me.

"Lulu I cant-!" I was shocked to see Lulu pull out a giant sword. It had a green handle and was long, almost as long as me.

"Take this!" Lulu said. I grabbed it with my mouth and nodded.

I Heard the dragons roar behind me. I turned around to see trying to slow down to turn around the corner. It looked me dead in the eyes and roared again. I took off to the right without hesitation. The dragon sprinted after me. I saw what looked like a stair case in front of me. I sprinted towards it. However the dragon was bigger than me, faster than me. I looked behind me and saw it gaining very fast on me. Just in time I ran into the staircase the dragon halted shoving his claw in the walkway trying to get me.

"Fuck" I shouted as I looked behind me tripping over.

I got back up to my hooves and continued to run up the staircase an actual staircase of rock. This was insane I thought. dragons, magic, ponies so much death and destruction I couldn't take it anymore. This isn't me, this isn't who I wanted to be. I just wanted to see Pinkie Pie. For her to be in love with me, I still do, but... that's because I'm not Tyler.... Hang on. I skidded to a halt and looked to my right. Covered in jewels was a mirror I looked in the reflection of the mirror. My grey coat, Black wavy hair, black stubble. I cant be the actual king-

I heard the sound of something igniting. I looked behind me and saw a shit ton of fire coming up the stairs. I ran faster up the stairs still with the sword in my mouth. The stair case twisted around the room. I looked out the side and saw the dragon breathing fire in threw the entrance. I looked behind me and saw the fire almost up with my tail. Without a choice I ran to the left and did the stupidest yet bravest thing in my whole life. I jumped out the side. I fell still with the sword in my mouth screaming on the inside.

As I was still falling I saw the dragon tail twist upwards right in front of me. "Oh shit!" yelled. I grabbed onto one of the dragons spikes on his tail. The dragon looked behind me and roared. He kept his tail in the same position up high above the ground. I stumbled to get the sword out of my mouth. I looked back at the dragon with my hoof wrapped round my sword. I saw the dragon running straight towards me . I looked away extending my hoof out with the sword closing my eyes....

Nothing happened. I opened my eyes. My sword... it had gone up threw his jaw. The dragon let out some awful moan and begun to topple over. "wo-whoa!" I said falling off the dragons tail landing in a pile of money. I watched as the dragon swayed around eventually falling over causing the ground to shake. Without hesitation I ran over to him grabbing my sword. With a big tug I pulled the sword down slitting his throat.

The dragon spasmed uncontrollably but I didn't let up. Eventually I couldn't pull any further and the dragon had stopped moving. Blood leaked out of the dragons throat. I was covered in it head to hoof. I sat down on my haunches watching the beast before me lay silent... nothing. I put my hooves up to my head and rubbed my temples. I took a look at my hooves drenched in thick red blood. I looked behind me and saw Lulu holding Tia starring at me. I picked myself up and walked towards them. No running, just walking.

I rest my head up against the wall where Lulu was. She just looked at me.

"you killed it" Lulu said. I looked back at it, it just laid there limp. I heard the roar of the other dragon from afar. I shook my head coming back to reality. My shocked face and heavy breathing coming back. "Come on we gotta go" I said.
