An Equestrian GMod
Meeting the Regulars
Previous ChapterNext ChapterI quickly arrived at the plains I just bought for a chunk of gold, and instantly figured out where my house will be. I quickly got to work, and spawned a massive floor plate. I locked it in place, and started building the house on top of it. Since it was rather boring and repetitive, I'll skip it for you, and describe how it was finished. I made a mansion, with an entry room, and a talking room, and stairs, and doors, and all the good stuff.
Once I was done, and I furnished my house, I built a giant fence around my property. Well, it was more like an energy rope that was connected by four pegs on each corner of my property. When I was completely finished, I floated above my work, and sighed, noticing how my big property would allow me to build some much more. Building another idea, I spawned a few NPCs of G-man, to guard my place.
"So... since this place seems to have a good amount of small horses, or is it ponies, and at least two winged unicorns, I wonder what other species this world has." I summoned a small piece of metal to stand on, before using it to fly faster than usual. In the many years I played Gmod, I almost perfectly mastered how to prop surf and not take damage.
As I buzzed around at high speeds, I quickly passed by a small blue and rainbow blur that was flying nearby, and I could hear a raspy voice speak out. "What the hay is that?!" I smiled at the reaction, before being surprised as the blur caught up, and looked at me and surprise. It looked like a light blue pegasus, with rainbow hair and tail. While she(?) was flying next to me, she(?) had a rainbow trail. "What are you?! And how are you that fast!" She called out, but I responded with a smile, and increased the speed I was going, almost nearly breaking the sound barrier. But to my surprise, I heard the pegasus speak up. "Oh, you want a race?! I'll show you true speed!" Then, with a loud bang, the pegasus shot by me at mach five, before blowing a raspberry at me.
Stopping on a dime, and not wanting to lose against a rainbow horse, I got my board stuck in midair, and attached several small but powerful thrusters and a large thruster meant for a rocket to the back. Getting on top of it again, I unlocked the board, and shot forward, using the small thrusters only, and easily caught up with the pony and starting to pass her. "You call that speed? Do you even physics?" And to prove my point, I activated the large thruster, making me quickly break mach twenty, which probably caused her to stop flying, and gape. I didn't even know I could go this fast. Maybe physics doesn't effect me anymore, and that's why I'm not torn to shreds already. All I know is that this is a really weird dream. Because there is no way this could be real.
Eventually at my speed, I passed by several mountain ranges, before coming a town that looked kinda desolate. I quickly stopped, and brought myself down to behind a small mountain, to get a closer look. When I did, it caused me to raise an eyebrow. 'Griffons? Is this world filled with Greek Mythology?' I was cut out of my thoughts by a poking feeling on my back. "You, turn around now." A gruff voice spoke out.
Complying, I turned around, to see a griffon with brown feathers and an eye patch looking at me like I was either a threat or dinner. 'He looks like Nick Fury. Should I call him Nick Feathery?' "May I help you?" I asked civilly.
"Who are you, and how did you get here?" He asked.
"My name is my own, and I got here by simple physics." I said with a small smile. 'Good thing he didn't notice my ride.' I figured out while building my house, that I could undo my last thing by thinking it, and quickly got rid of what I used to get here.
"Wise griffon, aye? Well, how would you like to be our lunch?" He said with a chuckle, thinking I didn't have a choice.
"Nah, I know something that would prefer having you for lunch." Then, with a single thought, I summoned a regular zombie right next to the griffon. He noticed it out of the corner of his eye, and screamed, as the zombie started attacking, bringing it's longer extended fingers down on the griffon, doing a good amount of damage. The griffon quickly retaliated by bringing his claws down on the zombie. With a few quick swipes, he killed the zombie, which fell down to the ground dead.
The griffon noticed his victory, and gave a deep laugh. "Well, looked like your backup failed! Now, how about you come along with me now? I'd rather have live food than dead."
He was confused when I started laughing. "Oh, I'm sorry, but you seemed to have forgotten something." I gestured to the headcrab, which at that time, decided to jump on his head. Mr. Eyepatch screamed, as he tried to remove the headcrab, but it already cracked his skull, and was starting to turn him into a zombie. His body fell to the ground, as the headcrab began its work on turning him into a zombie. "I hope this works." I said to myself, as I stated thinking about the weapon I wanted, similar to how I spawn materials. I sighed in relief when I felt a pistol in my hands, and I pointed it at the head crab, killing it in one shot.
I grabbed the remains of the head crab, and tried to figure out what to do with it. "I don't want scientists duplicating this, so maybe I'll just bring it home and keep it locked up?" I nodded at my decision, and quickly flew home, deciding to just un-clip the entire time, taking in the view of the land, as the sun starts to set. "This is the most realistic dream I've ever had."
As I was running on midair, I eventually came across what looked to be a quarry with tons of holes scattered across it. I quickly landed on it, and examined the area. "I could build a possible back-up base here." I took another look. "Maybe a launchpad instead." Building an idea, I summoned a large piece of metal, and stuck it to the ground, before starting to build a rocket. I quickly finished, and decided to make it out of gold just 'cause.
Before I could start to use it, I heard some mumbling behind me, and quickly turned to see three bipedal dogs wearing clothes trying to sneak up on me. They realized I noticed them, and started arguing. "I's told you to stop talking!"
"It's not mine fault, it's Fido's!"
"How is it my fault!"
"I dunno! It just is!"
They continued arguing back and forward, before I spoke up. "Umm... Can I help you three?"
They all looked at me, surprised, because they completely forgot about me. Eventually, the one I determined to be Fido spoke up. "Yes! We is Diamond Dogs! And we hunt for gems! And you has spell that creates gems! So now we hunts for you!" They all started to walk menacingly towards me.
"Yeah, no. If you want gold, you could just, and not retort to kidnapping." I spawned a small block of metal at their feet, before turning it to gold. "There you go, now if you please leave me in peace." I was about to turn back around, when Fido spoke up again.
"We wants more gems! We wants rubies and sapphires! Not just golds!" They started advancing again.
"Sorry, but all I can create is gold, so you'll have to take it or leave it." Fido pulled out a small whistle, and blew on it, which caused me to flinch a bit, and the ground to start shaking. I heard several loud sounds coming from behind me, and I turned to see a group of armored bipedal dogs trying to gang up on me.
They were all about to jump, and I quickly activated no-clipping, and flew above them, causing them all to bang their heads into each other comically. "That's cute, but you should have been more careful, as you don't want to be my enemy." I quickly scrolled through my brain, thinking of all the creatures I could summon to help, but I decided to go with a poison zombie. I summoned a poison zombie next to them, and while they were all fighting and dying, I went into my thoughts. 'Did I go too far with summoning a poison zombie? They have armor, and numbers, so soldiers would have been dangerous, and regular and fast zombies are too weak.'
I was snapped out of my thoughts when I noticed the dogs were all dead. I was about to pull out my AR2 to kill the surviving zombie and headcrabs, but to my surprise, I saw one quickly enter my view, and try and grab me. I was knocked down to the ground, and managed to throw the headcrab off before quickly killing it, and it's friend right next to it. I killed the mostly headcrabless zombie, before falling onto my hands. "Oh god." I reached down, and felt my stomach, before bringing my hand up so I could see it. "Blood? Pain? But... that... means that this isn't a dream? I just killed how many innocents? And I perhaps made enemies with two princesses. I should apologize to them."
'Why should I? They almost let you die. You would have if I didn't save yourself.'
"They believed that I could control physics. So they naturally thought that I could prevent myself from dying, which I could."
'Yeah, they thought. They didn't know, so they risked your life on a hunch.'
"SHUT UP STEVE! Jeeze, you died how many years ago? And you still won't leave me freakin' alone!"
'Can I join in on this conversation?'
"NO!" Both me and Steve yelled at Maron. "Just leave me alone for now." The voices of my deceased friends left me, which let me concentrate on surviving. I spawned a few health kits, which healed the big wound on my gut, leaving not even a scar. As I started to stand up, another thought came to me. "I will never see my friends and family again." I said in a scared tone, before curling over, and puking.
