The PresentView OnlineTwilight and the Book. The PresentTwilight heard a soft knock on the door that interrupted her studies. She was slightly annoyed at this fact but still made her way through the cluster of books scattered around the library. She tripped over a stack that she hadn't noticed which made her slam into the door. It swung outward barely avoiding a white unicorn. Twilight winced at the sudden light in her eyes. "Twilight! Are you alright?" Rarity asked. "Yes. I'm fine, I just tripped that's all." said Twilight shielding her eyes from the sun. "Have you been studying all night again?" Rarity asked suspiciously. "How can you tell?" asked Twilight half shocked. "First, you have horrible bags under your eyes. Second, You're trying to block the sun which means you're been in the dark for a while." explained Rarity. "Ok. Why are you here?" Twilight asked. "I wanted to return the book you let me borrow and I brought you a present." she said excitedly. "Thanks for bringing the book back." Twilight said as Rarity handed the present and book to her. "Aren't you going to open the present?" Rarity asked as Twilight started to trot back inside. "Yeah as soon as I clean up. I can't make more mess by adding the wrapping to the mess." Twilight explained. "Ok, are you still coming to the spa this afternoon?" asked Rarity as Twilight almost had the door shut. Twilight silently cursed herself for forgetting. "Of course I am." Twilight answered while finally shutting the door. She peered through the window next to the door to make sure that Rarity was walking away. She then set the book and present on a table then started to clean up. She finally returning each book to the proper place on the proper shelf, including the one Rarity returned. She took a sip of water as she picked up the present Rarity had given her deciding to see what it was. She expected it to be some new design Rarity had come up with but whatever it was felt to hard to be any clothing . article. It was rectangle shape wrapped in pink paper, tied together with a lavender ribbon. She then carefully removed the ribbon and unwrapped the paper discarding it into the nearby trash can. She lifted the present, book to be exact, and read the beautiful writing on the cover. "Spells for Inquisitive Ponies." Twilight was now curious. She had come to believe she owned all the normal spell books for unicorns but this proved her wrong. She flipped to the contents. She looked over them recognizing a few but the others she had never seen. She realized she knew none of these spells. She looked to see how much time she had before the spa. "Oh my i'm going to be late!" Twilight exclaimed. She ran out the door bringing the book along to examine it. She made it the spa just in time and made her way to her friends. "Oh, Twilight, I see you opened your present!" exclaimed Rarity. "Thank you very much for it. I was surprised to find out I never heard of the book." Twilight said. "It was actually a gift from all of us but since I had to return that book on fashion, I delivered the gift." Rarity said. "Well thank you to everypony." Twilight said. "You're welcome!" the rest of the ponies exclaimed in unison. "What's the present for?" Twilight asked curiously. "For your birthday!" exclaimed Pinkie. "Pinkie my birthday was a month ago." Twilight laughed. "Well we all wanted to get you another gift." Pinkie explained. "Well thank you again." Twilight said. "You're welcome." They said in unison again. Twilight made her way to the massaging table bringing the book along. She kept it levitated in front of her as she laid on her stomach and read through the contents again. She then practiced a simple relaxation spell on the masseuse resulting in her immediately falling asleep. A couple of minutes late the masseuse woke up dazed. "I'm terribly sorry." Twilight said apologetically. When Twilight finally arrived home she relaxed in a chair and practiced more spells. She had already learned 10 new spells when she started to flip through exhausted from all the effort of learning the new spells. "Spike! Spike! Where are you?" Twilight called out. The dragon grumbled down the steps obviously still half asleep. "Have you been sleeping all day!?" Twilight questionably exclaimed. "No." Spike said trying to lie. "Spike, Did you do any of you chores?" Twilight asked disapprovingly. "No." he said attempting to lie again. "Spike, I needed those done today! Just go back to bed! I'll do them myself!" Twilight exclaimed. He happily complied by climbing the stairs and snuggled in his basket. Twilight was so angry that she had completely forgotten about the book and she started to work on the chores. She had lost track of time and didn't finish the chores til early in the morning. "Where did I set my book?" Twilight pondered. She searched everywhere in the library but couldn't find it. "If only Spike would have done his chores I wouldn't have lost that book." Twilight grumbled. She sat down on the same chair visibly upset that she couldn't find the book. Then she felt something poke at her back. She sat up immediately and looked behind her. She found out it was her book. She flipped to the page she had left of on and read over the name of the spell. "Trasportus Insidus" Twilight laughed at the name of the spell. It was just transport and inside with us at the end. In fact, she laughed for a while just at the name. When she finally stopped laughing she read on. The level of difficulty was maximum. Twilight pondered this for a moment weighing her options. On one hoof she could learn a very difficult spell that could be useful but on the other hoof it may be a worthless spell that wastes her time and she'll never use it. She decided she would find out what it did then make her final decision.
The SpellView OnlineTwilight and the Book. The SpellShe levitated the book again reading through some of the information that was not important. She skimmed over the page until something caught her eye.Warning: Some ponies have never returned. Highly dangerous. May lead to death. She took this into consideration and kept reading. She finally found what she was looking for but at the moment all she could think of of was the warning. Her mind raced with questions. She set the book down to sort through her thoughts. What does it mean some have not returned? Where have they not returned from? Did they want to return? Are they okay? Are they alive? She seriously reconsidered learning this spell but again she was still curious. So, she picked the book up again and read over what the spell did. As soon as she finished reading what it said, she jumped up in down out of pure joy. But, she soon stopped because the warning came into her mind again. The spell was a spell that could transport any pony into a book, but it is very rare that they ever make it out. Now that she knew what the spell did all she could think about was the books she could actually live through. This was one of the things she has always dreamed of doing and now she can do that. She doesn't have to just read the books but she can live them. She jumped around the library like when she was a filly. She knocked a couple books over but didn't notice because of her joy. "This is the best day of my entire life!" she exclaimed with joy. She ran to the shelves and picked out her favorite stories and some information books to test those out. "This one and this one! Oooo, I have to try this one!" Twilight squealed with joy. "Well I guess before I get too excited I should actually learn the spell." Twilight said aloud. She went back over to her chair and picked the book up. She read it over. Her face distorted after she read the warning again. This was a serious problem for her. She could have her dream come true but still she could get hurt or not return. She knew where she wouldn't return from. She kept thinking about this but if she doesn't return from a book would that be so bad? She could just pick her favorite books and go into them. She would be happy to not return but she would miss her friends. She lit up when she came to a revelation. She could bring her friends with her, maybe not all of Ponyville since that really was a ll of her friends but maybe just the rest of her five best friends. Maybe a couple more, like their siblings. She sat in concentration as she tried to learn the spell. She was attempting to transport a cup into a picture book so she could see if the cup made it their successfully. After almost a dozen failed attempts she lay on her back and panted in exhaustion. She looked round for the cup. She would try one last time and if it didn't work she guessed she would have to give up.She lifted herself up enough that she was sitting almost upright. She looked around but couldn't find the cup. She could have sworn that she left it right there in front of her on the table but it wasn't there. She thought maybe she knocked it over when she fell back but it wasn't on the floor. She sat on her haunches and scratched her head in confusion. "Where could it have gone?" she silently muttered to herself. "Where what went?" Spike asked. "Nothing." she quickly retorted still frustrated he hadn't done his chores. She picked up the picture book she was practicing the spell on and opened to the first page. Right there next to the main pony of the book sat the cup. She jumped up and down around the library yelling "YES!" over and over again. "What are you so happy about?" asked Spike. "It worked!" yelled Twilight in response, "It actually worked!" "What worked?" Spike asked. "The Spell!" yelled Twilight. Spike gave up on asking questions and started towards the kitchen for some food. She ran out the door headed for Rarity's with both books. Even though the spell book was from all of them she wanted to tell Rarity first since she had delivered the spell book. She burst through the doors of Carousel Boutique excited to share the news. Sweetie Belle looked over at Twilight confused as Twilight had never been one to do that. "What can I help you with?" Sweetie Belle asked as she stepped out from behind the counter. "I wanted to tell Rarity something. Do you know where she is?" twilight said. "She should be in her room. i think she is working on a dress." Sweetie Belle replied. "Thanks." Twilight said curtly as she rushed up the stairs. She went in to Rarity's room. She was careful not to burst through the doors like she had when she arrived at the Boutique. "Rarity!" Twilight called out. There was no answer so Twilight decided to wait there for a while. She shifted through the assortment of fabrics and thread. She liked some of them but got bored after a couple of minutes. She picked the picture book with the cup in it out of her saddle bag. She felt pride and joy when she looked at the cup sitting next to the pony in the book. Then she starting picking her way through Rarity's stuff again. "Rarity really needs to organize in here." Twilight mumbled to herself. She found a old book lying there. It had a leather cover with the word Diary across the front. She knew this was Rarity's Diary and she shouldn't be touching it but she felt curious. She flipped open to the first page and thought about what it would be like to be inside Rarity's diary. "No Twilight this isn't yours. You wouldn't like it if Rarity read your diary let alone went into it, literally." Twilight scolded herself. Despite just telling herself not to she was still curious. She had made a cup go into a book but what about a pony. A cup was like child's play to actually tele porting a live pony. "Maybe this could be practice." she mumbled out loud. Twilight's horn started to glow, with her face scrunched in concentration as sweat started to bead on her eyebrow. The aura around her horn grew brighter and bigger it started to slowly envelop her body until she was fully consumed by the aura. Her body rose about two feet off the ground and she opened her eyes and with a small gasp she was sucked into the diary, literally.
The DiaryView OnlineTwilight and the Book. The DiaryShe found herself in a small room. It wasn't a room she had been in before. She felt smaller somehow. She thought this was to be expected since she was in the book but she felt younger. She looked around the room. It seemed as if the room belonged to a filly. Suddenly a thought that wasn't hers interrupted her thoughts. 'How am I ever going to do these outfits perfectly?' thought something in "Twilight's" mind. The voice sounded like Rarity's but a younger version. Twilight thought this must be Rarity's room because of the fabric's and threads that lay scattered everywhere. Twilight went over to the mirror and looked in. She was shocked and her part of the mind gasped and wanted to stumble backwards but it felt like she had no control. The face she saw was not hers but it was Rarity's. It was Rarity as a filly. When she transported into the diary she must have made her way into Rarity's mind as she writes she lives what they write. Twilight thought she should have suspected this since she was in fact in Rarity's diary and don't the characters live what is written. Twilight wondered what this entry was going to be about. She knew Rarity had had the diary for a long time and it was large but she didn't know it went back to when she was a filly. She went back to the thoughts of the filly Rarity and she realized she was going to have to live through mot of Rarity's life to get out of the book. That must be why some ponies haven't returned. Twilight wanted to run around frantic and panic but since she had no control over whatever the filly does she had to settle to her thoughts. She was glad that the filly Rarity couldn't notice what Twilight was thinking. She panicked on her side of the brain as the filly Rarity wondered how she was going to make the school performance outfits the best. Twilight stopped her thoughts for a moment to see what Rarity was rambling on about now. 'I have to make perfect outfits and I need to find my cutie mark. If I want to be recognized in fashion at a young age I can't not have a cutie mark.' Filly Rarity thought. Twilight remembered this story. It was the story of how Rarity got her cutie mark. Twilight went over the whole story in her head including all the details that Rarity had said. Suddenly there was a flash of light and she felt the same feeling as being sucked into the book. The aura enveloped her body but this time it wasn't from her horn. She couldn't tell the source since the light would not let her see anything. Suddenly the body of the filly Rarity she was in seemed to stretch and grow. She was now in front of the Carousel boutique. It was old and rusty. Rarity was surveying the small structure. She was thinking of all the repairs that would need to be done and all the decorating and repairs she would need to do. Then, a adult pony was in front of her. He was a male pegasi with unusually large wings. He had a light brown coat and a medium black mane. "So do you want to buy the place?" the male pegasi asked. "Of course I do!" Rarity squealed. Why would she want such a run down place like this, but Twilight remembered how it looks now and changed her mind. She was happy to see this part of Rarity's life. The pegasi said something that Twilight didn't hear because of the loudness of Rarity's thoughts. 'Oww.' Twilight thought to herself. Then the aura was around her again but she felt as if she were shrinking like when she was the one performing the spell. She was now in a hospital waiting room and all Rarity was thinking about was the foal going to be a filly or a colt. Will she be into fashion like Rarity? What will her special talent be? Will Rarity help her get her cutie mark? Besides all the happy questions that filled Rarity's mind there were some that worried Rarity. Will her parents still want to play and talk to her? Will they have time for her? Will they still like her? What will the foal think of her? Will the foal like her? Twilight knew this entry was of the one when Sweetie Belle was born. Twilight also wondered why she went back in time after she had gone forward unless Rarity had put this in after the one of her getting Carousel Boutique. This worried Twilight but she didn't think much of it at the time. At the moment Rarity's father walked into the waiting room. His skin under his coat seemed a little pale as if he had fainted. He motioned for Rarity to follow him. She got up and Twilight over heard her very nervous thoughts the same questions replaying in her thoughts. Rarity made her way down the long corridor. She tried to peer into some of the windows but all of the curtains were drawn. Her dad stopped and stood in front of a large window and Rarity trotted up to him and looked into the window relieved to see the curtain was oped unlike the rest of the windows in the corridor. Her dad pointed to one of the quiet foals. "Isn't she beautiful?" her dad asked. Rarity was super excited that she had a little sister that she could dress up and play with and have tea parties with. She was also happy at the fact that her sister was one of the quieter ones unlike most of the foals in the nursery. A nurse walked into the room and levitated the small newborn filly and brought her up to the window. "Me and your mom decided we want you to name the filly." her dad said in a caring tone. Rarity's thought filled with very fancy filly names but one kept replaying in her mind and she picked that one. "Sweetie Belle!" Rarity exclaimed. Her dad smiled down at her and Rarity was almost bursting with joy. The aura surrounded her again and she grew smaller. Twilight started to panic at this and she tried to break through the aura but it tightened around her. She tried to attempt the spell to escape but the aura that had first surrounded her tightened. twilight was fully panicking now and she was back in the room she started in. She felt young gain and she was trying desperately to control the filly to get the filly to perform the spell but nothing was working. Twilight thought of the story and the aura was back. Now she felt sick and she felt as if she was going to be sick. She wanted to cry but nothing would work and she continued to panic. She was in the carousel boutique painting one of the walls and now Twilight tried her spell and finally that aura surrounding her was her own. She felt her original form take place and she was back in front of the diary in Rarity's bedroom. She laid on the floor feeling sick and wanting to cry again. She had no sense of direction and tried to stand up but ended up rolling over. She cried and attempted to stand up again this time successfully but she fell on to her forelegs with her back legs still standing. The door to the bedroom opened and Rarity walked in with a load of bags. She instantly dropped them and rushed to Twilight's side. "Twilight are you okay!?" Rarity said with a very worried tone. "Rarity!" Twilight yelled. "Twilight!" Rarity yelled. Twilight's name reverberated in her head she she cried it seemed to stay there bouncing around in her skull over and over. She started to shake now she was being shook. She heard her name being called and she came to consciousness again. She was in a hospital bed with Rarity standing over her. Her mane was a mess and her makeup too. Her face was tear stained. "Twilight. Are you okay?" Rarity said. Twilight attempted to say yes but failed so she instead gave a small nod. "Since you're okay, I want to know one thing. Why were you reading my diary?" Rarity asked. Twilight was still a bit dazed as she looked up to face a furious Rarity. She stumbled forward a bit and fell face first. Rarity rushed to her side helping her up. "Are you okay, Darling?" Rarity asked sounding genuinely concerned. "I'm fine. I was just trying out a new spell and it didn't work the way I planned." Twilight said her words slurred. "What spell could you be practicing on my diary?" Rarity asked a bit of anger returning to her voice. By now Twilight could talk normal but her mind was still fuzzy. "I got it out of the spell book you gave me." Twilight said. "What spell was it?" Rarity asked again. "A spell to transport a pony inside of a book but it's side effects are the worst." Twilight said rubbing her head. "Why were you practicing it on my diary? What did you see?" Rarity asked. "I just saw your diary laying there and I was waiting so I decided to try the spell out?" Twilight explained. "What did you see?" Rarity persisted. "Nothing, just when you got your cutie mark, your baby sister, and the carousel boutique." Twilight answered. "Oh okay." said Rarity with a slight blush. "Why were you waiting?" Rarity asked growing curious. "I wanted to tell you about the spell." Twilight retorted. "Oh, well that's great but I would appreciate it if you wouldn't practice on my diary it's private." Rarity said as she levitated the book and put it under her mattress. "I'm really sorry it's just I never tried it on myself. I had only tried it on a cup." Twilight apologized. "It's okay, darling." Rarity said. Twilight and Rarity talked a little more about the spell. Twilight asked if Rarity would like to go into one of her books and Rarity remembered how Twilight had acted after coming out of the book and she declined. Twilight noticed how late it was and made her way home a little bit disappointed. She wished Rarity would have joined her on one of her adventured but she remembered what happened after she returned and she reconsidered it too. As she was deep in thought she lost focus of where she was going until a acorn landed on her head. She looked around while rubbing her head with her hoof. She saw Big Macintosh pulling branches down and she noticed she was on the edge of the Everfree forest. "Big Mac why are you pulling branches down in the Everfree?" Twilight asked curious. "Miss Fluttershy asked me to they were bothering her because they hit up on the window of her cottage." Big Mac explained. "Did you call her Miss Fluttershy?" Twilight asked. A small blush grew on Big Mac's face and he let out a small "Eeyup". Twilight ignored this and started to make her way home twice as confused about two things. Why was Big Mac calling Fluttershy Miss and is she going to try the spell again?
