Easy Contracts and Hard Liquor.

The guns in their hands, the armour they wear, they very attitude all point towards one thing...

They're Talon Company Mercenaries, and what will they do in Equestria; get contracts, complete contracts, drink, maybe bang some of the locals and start their own mercenary company... how does Deathgrip Company sound?

Pretty much the same thing they did back home really, only... with snow and grass? Friends?! MAGIC! Okay, maybe things will be a little different.

I'm writing this because I've rarely seen an original FO crossover, so let's list what this isn't, okay? Great.
THIS IS IN NO WAY A FO:E STORY! Got it?! Okay.
This isn't a do-gooder kid from a vault, their grandparents were from a vault as well as their dad, but NOT them.
They ain't some god damn cowboy courier, but they have no problem with a contract about revenge, they discount in fact.
They have never met the Sole Survivor, his story takes place after theirs starts, but they do have the same model Pip-boy.
Guns with realistic behavior, no magic Pip-boy logic or hammerspace, they'll have unique perks, traits and sexual preferences as well as a 'fuck you, I'm a merc' attitude towards authority and the royals in particular.
Wild Wasteland is enabled.
Enigmatic Equestria is also enabled.

Okay, I think I warned you guys enough.

A crossover with Fallout, mainly a crossover with the Fallout mod, A Tale of Two Wastelands, which brings elements of Fallout NV to Fallout 3. Some additional stuff from Fallout 4 like their backstory and a less OP VATS using Pip-boy.
