Rainbow Heart 3

Due to the recent events all of the alicorns and Twilight’s friends were at the Stones of Tears gravesite. It was getting colder with fall departing soon and winter to be in full effect shortly. They had spent the last few days finding and burying dead bodies. Then all of a sudden it just seemed to stop.

It was generally believed by Twilight that all of the ponies who were massacred by Double Rainbow had now been buried, or at least that is what she thought. They believed that they had found all of his victims, because no more bodies had appeared. Tracker, Celestia’s prize investigator, still had not been found, but was suspected to be likely dead. Additionally, three other ponies were still missing, named Cold Stone, Oopsy Daisy, and Roadkill. With Tracker missing, Princess Celestia personally wanted to investigate the incidents.

Two friends of Rainbow Heart had been summoned to the meeting as well. They were assigned to aid the alicorns, since they were close friends of Rainbow Heart. Night Wish had returned and was with them. Night Wish was an apprentice of Princess Luna. Night Wish was a black and blue pegasus. Her body was black, her mane and tail were black and blue, she had blue tribal tattoo-like accents on her forehead, cheeks, neck, and on her legs. Her cutie mark was a blue shooting star with the tail steak shaped like a crescent moon and lighter blue in color. She had blue eyes. There was also a pony named Victor who had been friends with Rainbow Heart since kindergarten. Victor is a black unicorn with white underbelly and blue eyes. His cutie mark is a ghost. Victor basically looked like a Siberian Husky. Victor and Rainbow Heart were friends since they were foals. Rainbow Heart had given him a job as a security officer at his spa in Bucktown when it existed. They would be crucial in finding Rainbow Heart.

Princess Celestia said to them, “Tracker is missing and presumed dead. As a result, I will personally be investigating with all of your help. Stone Cold, Oopsy Daisy, and Roadkill are also still missing. Too many ponies have died. We must bring this to an end. But before we begin looking for clues around here, there’s new information. There is a pony who has witnessed Rainbow Heart. Peaceful Memories, the mortician, has informed me that a unicorn matching Double Rainbow’s description was cremated by a unicorn matching Rainbow Hearts information. However, after the cremation, it seems that Double Rainbow’s soul entered Rainbow Heart’s body and transformed him into an Alicorn. Rainbow Heart as a result changed his name to Rainbow Moon. It’s unclear if Rainbow Moon is still Rainbow Heart or if he is something entirely else. It looks like Rainbow Moon has buried Double Rainbow’s ashes under his Tombstone in his coffin. So, we are going to go over the Stones of Tears and look for any additional clues. Remember to keep in mind that…..”

It was then a scream from the nearby forest, “Help me!”

Everypony snapped their head to the forest’s edge. It was Roadkill, tired looking, thirsty, and starving. Roadkill was walking forward looking like she was attempting to run but didn’t have the strength to keep it up for more than a few seconds. Everypony ran towards her.

They immediately gave her water, food, and checked her for injuries. It was obvious she had her nose cut off. Roadkill exhausted and in a slight daze began to tell her story about what she had witnessed at the Great Fortress. Roadkill was the only pony to have survived one of Double Rainbow’s traps with the aid of Rainbow Heart. They took her to the hospital in Ponyville. They had a new place to search. The Great Fortress.
