Chapters Pony Meat Business – Dissent
Celestia groggily lifted her head to find herself floating in a body of water.
“How did I end up in the pool?” she asked, her voice rising to a nervous tenor. She spotted some stallions across the cavern preoccupied with herding Pinkie clones into cages. She quickly swam towards the shore, visibly shaking. The enchanted water made her blood run cold, and she wondered if it could drag her under to take revenge for its overuse. Celestia cleared those thoughts away as she pulled herself onto land. She heard the voices of several excited Pinkie Pies echoing across the cavern.
She looked around for somepony to talk to and she discovered that Sunset Shimmer was nearby, making notes on a floating clipboard. The unicorn looked up from her papers as Celestia tentatively approached her.
Celestia kept her demeanor casual. “My dear Sunset, something very unusual has happened. I can’t remember what I was doing and I actually woke up in the pool.”
Sunset smiled reassuringly, her teeth having a cat-like sharpness to them. “You can relax, Tia. Everything is going to plan.”
Celestia hesitated. “We planned for me to be in the pool?”
“Well, no, you woke up in the pool because you did not follow protocol. The pony to be cloned reaches out a helping hoof and the clone grabs it and is pulled out. If you don’t follow the rules, you might drift around or even die. I’ve seen a lot of things.”
Celestia grimaced. “I don’t think I understand. You’re saying I was pulled in, right?”
Sunset peered at the clipboard and her quill began writing: subject is unaware that she is repressing memories in denial of her situation.
“I’m sorry, Tia; let’s start over.” She looked at the clipboard. “You are a… one clone Celestia, not impregnated, 100% memories, and your body looks to be in great shape. You are a special order; it’s somewhat rare to clone you, doubly so with 100% memories. We’ve got to have tests done on you down at the factory to make sure you hold no unusual attributes. You'll shortly be seeing Doctor Flutters, our factory therapist, to sort out your… unique... psychological situation.”
Celestia felt her stomach drop but kept her voice level. “Sunset, I don’t feel like a clone whatsoever.”
“That means the system is working,” Sunset said smiling, “Clones of your quality are highly desired, after all.”
Celestia shook her head. “No. What I mean is I have a sense of self, like I have feelings. The mirror pool creates magical constructs that only mechanistically behave like their real counterparts with only simulated, prerecorded emotions.”
“Our latest experiments in neurological sentience at the factory suggest otherwise. I always thought you were wrong about that and now you know the truth of it, right? Regardless, feelings are not a working criteria that can be tested for in the way that you mean.”
“Oh.” Celestia frowned. “Still, there could have been a mix up like what they call a switcheroo. Couldn’t that be possible? Or the mirror pool enacted some conspiracy to take revenge on me?”
“A mind of its own?” Sunset chuckled, “Well, I don’t know, but that sounds weird coming from you, Tia. Oh, by the way, your name is Tia now to distinguish you from the original Celestia.”
Tia sunk to the ground for a moment and dug at the dirt with her hooves. “Yeah, I remember.” At that moment, Tia realized what she was wearing. She stood bolt upright, “Oh my! I’ve got the crown, the royal regalia, everything. I must be the real Celestia.”
Sunset erupted in a fit of laughter, “You’re so funny, Tia! That was such an authentic reaction you’re well on your way to convincing me. However, sometimes, very rarely, the clothes or accessories of the pony are magically cloned as well. We’re not sure why that happens.”
“Oh.” Tia blushed. “Well, never mind that. I just want to be sure it’s true that I am a clone before I will believe it.”
“It doesn’t matter what I say, though. From your point of view this could still all turn out to be a conspiracy, a prank, or I could be a paid actor; I’ve heard it all.”
Tia sighed. “Great... it’s a long shot, but now I have some things to hope for.”
“If you’re going to hope for anything, hope for your present circumstances to be radically and masochistically embraced. Every clone who gives in to their fate and stops struggling is mentally liberated.” Sunset pointed a hoof at Tia, “The fact is, you are a delicious and sexy meat pony. There have been so many clones who lived and died in sexual ecstasy and you can, too!”
“Yes, I would be so lucky to lose my mind. I'm sure your factory programs can help me with that.” Tia turned her head to watch the other clones being herded and spotted a sobbing Fluttershy. “Forget about me, I’m starting to worry about all the clones who are not enjoying themselves…” she grimaced, “all those poor ponies, their bodies are going to be violated, and things will get worse from there. Perhaps I can weigh in on the morals of clone treatment?”
Sunset looked baffled. “You want to place stipulations on the consumer? That will cut into profits and no agreements like that will be honored anyway. You do have all of your memories, don’t you? According to you, it’s against policy to discuss the morals of cloning. Although… you can talk to your future owners about morals,” she said thoughtfully, “maybe they’ll want to make you their pony waifu. However, almost everypony is utilized for sexual purposes and is then eaten up. So yeah, we don’t let clones weigh in on any aspect of how the business is run. Your orders.”
Tia turned her gaze towards the cavern ceiling. “Mother of me, what have I done?”
Just then, Tia heard a calm, familiar voice behind her. “Hello there. I can see that you are having a hard time adjusting.” Tia turned around to see the very image of herself. Same posture, same regal bearing, same everything.
Celestia’s voice made Tia want to cower inside, but she was not going to let it show. “After speaking to Sunset, I’ve come to understand that I may be a clone. Tell me about you, though, how is it you know that you are the real Celestia?”
Celestia shrugged. “I just know. Usually all I have to do is point out I’m the one wearing a crown, but you too have donned the full royal regalia. Who gave those to you?”
Tia huffed. “I got this crown for being the princess.”
Sunset answered, “The mirror pool created it. We’re not sure why that happens, but the ponies at the factory are working on solving it.”
Celestia sighed, “Sunset, can you think of a way to officially tell the difference between me and this sad, confused copy of me?”
Sunset put her hoof to her chin. “Raising the sun?”
Celestia rolled her eyes. “Come on, Sunset, think about where we are. You’d have to fly above the Everfree canopy just to be a referee.”
“Oh, crap.” Sunset blushed and thought. “Okay, I’ve got it! Since mirror clones have a magic power level that is almost nothing compared to the real Celestias, you’ll have to have a magic duel.”
Celestia thought about that. “Okay, but I’m worried about the collateral damage. We need something simple, quick, and controlled. One spell.”
“You have strong fire magic. Why don’t we see which one of you can fast-fry a Pinkie clone and which one merely singes her fur?”
Celestia contemplated, “Hmmm… I don’t want the workplace smelling like charred pony flesh, but we have nothing else on hoof to test our firepower. Pinkie will do.”
Tia was appalled at the idea of murdering a Pinkie, even if clones were doomed in the long run. She tried to get a sense of her own magic power level and she felt that something was off. Still, if she could just channel enough power she would prove that she was the real one and this would all be a misunderstanding. She bravely stated, “I want a chance to prove myself. I know that I’m the true Celestia at heart.”
Celestia suddenly became agitated. “I don’t know why I should waste my energy. Sunset, are you saying you are entertaining this phony clone’s story?”
“Of course not, Celestia. I just wanted to watch you put this impostor in her proper place.” She put her hoof to her stomach. “Also, it’s almost lunch time and, well, I got to eat some pony,” she said with an apologetic tone, smiling innocently.
Celestia nodded. “Alright, I guess it may be prudent to prove to everypony that I am the real deal once in a while. Sunset, go grab us a Pinkie Pie.”
“We’re just going to be cooking up one Pinkie?” asked Sunset, pouting.
“I think so. I’m letting my impostor have the first turn.”
Pony Meat Business – Dissent
Sunset prowled over to a mixed group of Pinkie Pies and a couple Fluttershys. Most of the clones had been carted off by the slavers, but the remaining ones were playing idly in the open.
Her horn glowed as her teeth became slightly sharper. Licking her lips, she watched the group of ponies intently. A forlorn looking Fluttershy started crying which caused a Pinkie to rush over and give her a hug. “It’s going to be okay, Fluttershy; you’ve never had more friends,” said Pinkie Pie lovingly.
Fluttershy still looked worried. “I’ve got more friends to lose and I don’t want to lose any . I’ve heard that there’s a mean monster that runs the factory named KARiN. She’s half pony, half machine, and she causes everypony to die the most painful, gruesome deaths.”
Pinkie giggled. “There’s fun ponies there too, like Darth Pie and we also might end up in some commercials.”
“I never should have cloned myself. Nothing was worth this, I’m scared, and I want to go home to my animals.” Fluttershy tugged on her mane nervously. “I’ve never felt worse.”
Pinkie hugged her tightly. “It may sound crazy, but I really do feel happy, and it’s because I get to be with you. It doesn’t matter who we are, we still have our friendship.”
Sunset didn’t need to look any further for a better Pinkie Pie to trigger her carnivorous desires, to slide down her throat one savory mouthful at a time. She also wanted to claim the sad Fluttershy, lick up her tears, and be the one comforting her until it was time to feed. She swallowed in anticipation, trying not to let her ravenous nature get the best of her. For the task at hoof she had to select the comforting Pinkie who seemed to be a healthy specimen, both physically and mentally.
She snuck up on the two silently hugging ponies, her mouth salivating. She needed to have a pre-taste, to get her fix early. Reaching her mouth over to Pinkie’s ear, she nipped it with her sharp teeth.
Pinkie yelped in surprise and turned around to come face to face with Sunset. “Hey! What gives?” she asked, running a hoof over her ear a few times.
Sunset swallowed a single drop of blood and grinned showing her teeth, simply stating, “I couldn’t resist. Anyway, do you see those two Celestias talking over there?”
Pinkie Pie gasped dramatically. “OH. WOW. There are two of them!”
“Well,” Sunset sighed, “this is the cloning pond. That’s the problem. We need your help determining which Celestia is real and which one is a clone.”
Pinkie jumped in the air. “Oh no, you can’t tell them apart!? We’ve got to make sure she doesn’t end up at the meat factory. We can’t let Princess Celestia be somepony’s dinner.” She made a weird face as she thought of Celestia’s majestic body being served on a fancy table.
Sunset could read Pinkie’s face like a book. She smiled rapturously and spaced out, thinking she could almost taste the succulent royal flanks. She abruptly shook her head to clear it, “Yes, the stakes are high and we need to correctly sort them out.”
"Wait, just how am I going to recognize the real Celestia?" questioned Pinkie.
Sunset looked over at the pair of Celestias. "As much as I'd like to do a taste test, I don't know what the real Celestia would taste like. Instead, the plan is for them to conduct a magic duel to prove who the clone is."
Pinkie laughed. “Oh, like Twilight and Trixie? Are they going to make me super-old or change my gender?”
Sunset frowned slightly. “eh… I hope not. We’ll see what happens when we get you over there.”
Pinkie Pie stood up. "Okay, but first let me say goodbye to Fluttershy." Pinkie Pie walked over to the pony that was softly crying and wrapped a caring hoof around her. "Don't worry, you're gonna love the factory. There's so many conveyor belts and cool gadgets; oh, and clones! You're always gonna have somepony to hug, so you'll never be alone. Okay?" The yellow pony smiled and slowly nodded.
Sunset and Pinkie trotted back to the pair of arguing Celestias.
"I distinctly remember that you wouldn't take my hoof," Celestia pointed her hoof at Tia and then retracted it. "No, you had a look of horror on your face as you swam to get away. That is why you woke up in the pool and I was never in the pool. If you say you don't remember any of that, then you're deceiving everypony because I am sure that I cast a memory spell as I performed the ritual."
"I'm not deceiving anypony," said Tia with a sigh. "I'm just trying to figure out where everything went wrong and what I can do to set things right again."
Celestia glared back at her. “A lot of things are wrong. What makes you feel so entitled to fix anything? You’re just a clone with no powers.”
“I don’t care what you think I’m entitled to.” Tia turned her attention to her new company. “Sunset, Pinkie Pie! I’m glad you’re here.”
Sunset grinned wolfishly. “I wouldn’t leave you hanging; I know you’re fighting for your life. Now then, about that Pinkie flambé...”
“What?” Pinkie gave her a puzzled look.
Sunset averted her eyes, but still couldn’t hold back a smile.
Celestia nodded. “Well done, my faithful student. It won’t be long now before you get exactly what you want.”
Tia looked aghast. “I guess it happened too gradually for you to notice, but Sunset has been desensitized to death. She would have benefited from a steadfast guardian and mentor to help her make better choices, but now you’ve turned your back on every moral in order to make a profit.”
Celestia started looking a bit irritable at her duplicate. "I'm about to call this entire contest off, as there is clearly only one Celestia here who is interested in saving Equestria by running this business at a profit."
Suddenly, a cacophony of metallic clangs rang out from the entrance to the cavern. All of the ponies looked up to see KARiN holding a dented metal cage with two pink ponies inside, sobbing. The metal mastermind lifted the cage and threw it down the ramp as the ponies inside screamed in fear and pain.
KARiN’s slightly mechanical voice boomed out. “It appears that we've overstocked on Pinkie Pies.”
Everypony present felt some level of fear in the presence of the factory 'supervisor', but Celestia had never shown any signs of weakness when dealing with KARiN, and didn't intend to do so now. As she walked towards the ramp, she looked back and said "Sunset, go and hide. I don't want there to be any... accidents." Tia and Pinkie made themselves scarce, not wanting to attract the attention of the malevolent machine.
Sunset backed up, looking left and right to make sure she was clear as Fluttershy, fleeing in a blind panic, collided with her hind end. The unicorn got back on her hooves and brushed herself off, looking down at the terrified butter-yellow pegasus and seeing how cute and helpless she looked. Sunset relaxed the sly look on her face to hide her inner hunger. "Fluttershy, do you know who I am?"
“Sunset? or a clone?”
“I’m your friend; I’m the real Sunset that you may have memories of having a friendship with.” Sunset used a hoof to ruffle her pink mane. “I know you’re a clone, I saw you from before. But that doesn’t mean we’re not friends. Our bond runs deeper than that.”
Fluttershy tensed up. “You work here. That means you are probably not interested in saving me.”
Sunset smiled, probably a bit wider than she had intended, and hugged her. "I can assure you that I don't want to see you in a state like this. Would a true, true friend abandon you when you're feeling this frightened and alone like this? I know how serious this is; you don't want to go into the factory and you don't have to."
Fluttershy looked dumbfounded at her. “Really? I don’t?” I smile played at her lips.
"That's right, my little flutter butter; just stay and trust in me."
Just then they heard more commotion from the front. Fluttershy huddled delicately in Sunset’s arms.
Everypony watched as KARiN grabbed a Pinkie clone by her neck. “Don’t kill me,” she squeaked.
"I'm sorry, but I'm afraid that there is just not enough room for all of you in the factory. However, we may be able to fit you in if we cut you into smaller sizes. Please relax while I seperate your appendages." Loud chainsaw-like sounds roared to life and filled the caverns as the Pinkie Pie's head was severed, followed by the rest of her major body parts. Many of the surviving clones screamed, panicked, and tried to run as much as their bindings allowed.
Celestia stood as close as she felt comfortable to the half-machine monster. “KARiN, I can tell you’re upset.”
"I don't get upset. I observed that the production schedules for..." KARiN made some beeping and 'schwirr'ing data-processing noises, "Project: Our Town have not been met and I have come to see if you have been cloning... the minimal acceptable quantities of their populace. I now see that you are incapable to accomplishing the job set for you. So sad..."
“There have been problems negotiating contracts with Starlight Glimmer and the rest. Not every pony is so eager to sell themselves out, but I assure you we’ll come to an agreement.”
“I know a better agreement: if she does not agree to your terms by tomorrow she will be terminated.”
“That’s not how I run my business; I’ve never violated the rights of any of the original Equestrian citizenry. There are absolutely no exceptions.”
KARiN prowled towards a group of frightened clones. “Well maybe it’s time you did. The humans are expecting the new lineup on a promised date and I will not be forced to compromise the quality of our product because you’re willfully wasting time.” She swished out her tail and choked a random Fluttershy clone.
“Please… nooo…” Fluttershy gasped as she suffocated.
KARiN flung her corpse with her tail all the way into the pool. “Garbage in, garbage out.”
The Fluttershy in Sunset’s arms started shaking again. “Oh Celestia, it’s so awful. I don’t want to be here.”
Pony Meat Business – Dissent
*This is a character building chapter. It takes place five years ago, when Sunset was 13.*
Sunset lounged beside her mentor Celestia in the otherwise vacant throne room, grumbling in boredom as she watched the alicorn princess peruse yet another scroll. She was very grateful to be Celestia's student, but simply waiting for hours by her side while she dealt with the problems of the realm was agonizing for the young, energetic mare.
To make matters worse, she would have to accompany Celestia to meet with some foreign dignitaries later, which promised hours filled with pointless courtesies and platitudes that would bore even the most dedicated pony.
The young mare's thoughts began to wander to her bedroom, the one place she could be her deviant self and promised an end to the tedium. In her bed her imagination and her hoof sliding between her legs could take her on fantastic, blissful journeys where no kink was too strange and no lust forbidden.
As she started to imagine herself free to enjoy her sexual side, a warmth started to grow in her nethers, dragging her thoughts inward to her most closely-held lewd and arousing scenarios. Sunset thought to herself. I might as well cycle through my fantasies now to pass the time. Maybe I’ll come up with something to get excited about.
Sunset started eyeing over Celestia’s magnificent body. Hmmm, I should skip to my royalty specific fantasies while I’ve got this view to work with. So, princess, you’re just innocently reading your scroll, and then slurp! Sunset swallowed. Okay, I’ve got to back up. Ahem, you do all this tedious work for your country, but deep down you’ve wanted to be liberated for a thousand years, to be the simplicity of being food and digested.
Celestia shifted her weight in her seat and her flanks shook slightly. Sunset grinned to herself. You know you can’t run this country forever, so you plan to train your pupil to take over your duties so that you can finally give into the ecstasy of being broken down into energy. And you want me to do it; there’s no other pony that would be more appropriate. I may be small but I can still eat you up. I want it, you want it, and I will take your place to rule all of Equestria.
Sunset wanted to rub herself, but that might look suspicious. She looked around the room for an object to put under her to grind on. There were some possible candidates across the room but the princess would notice if she floated them over. She sighed. I’ll just touch myself, she’s not paying any attention. I’ll watch her closely and have time to react if she turns her head.
She very subtly pressed her hoof against her marehood once and Celestia didn’t notice. Just rub veeeery slowly. Breath is normal, heart rate is normal. She started silently hoofing herself slowly while keeping her eyes glued to Celestia reading. She didn’t want to go all the way, but it made her feel a rush to be enjoying her fantasies under these circumstances.
Celestia flexed her left wing off-hoofedly and Sunset spotted the tender area near the base. That’s where my teeth are going first; you’ll want me to relish biting your wings off slowly and you would moan in pleasure. “Oh, Sunset… Oh, Sunset… I can hardly believe… you’re going to consume me just like this. It’s so raw, so visceral. I’m the… hrrrrhhh… I’m the princess and you’re… so rough.” You limp around the room in a playful attempt to get away from your fate.
I’m a spirited little carnivore and I’m not letting my big prize just hobble away. I make bites on the sides of your body and I don’t give you a chance to recover.
Sunset whispered softly “I want you.”
Celestia’s ear batted. “Sorry Sunset, did you say you want me for something?” she asked, not looking away from her scroll.
Sunset blinked, then blushed. “Ah, no, I was just talking to myself.”
Celestia didn’t say anything more, so Sunset decided to go ahead and rub herself a little more intensely. Her eyes lingered over Celestia’s delicious looking flanks, her mouth salivating.
Your flanks start to look bloodied and your hind hooves are starting to give out. You start dragging yourself over the floor using your front hooves. “Sunset... I never thought our relationship would end by such a... sacred natural process. It astonishes me that you would be so bold as to use the sacrifice of another to meet your needs. You are so… daring and strong… you know what needs to be done and you don’t hesitate. That is exactly the kind of warrior spirit that this country needs." Finally, you stop trying to crawl away and you lay on your back. "As my most treasured gift to you I'm giving up my body; you've earned the right to consume it utterly.”
I pounce onto your body, drawing out a wounded gasp from your pained and broken body. You whisper, "Sunset... I love you more than I could ever say." You give me the same loving looks you have all my life, but this is special because you're seeing the real me. I slowly move my teeth around your tender throat. Your breath hitches as you know your final moment is coming. I sink my teeth slowly in until your blood starts pooling out.
Sunset couldn’t resist going for an orgasm. I feel your body gradually lose the will to resist as it accepts its fate. On an instinctual level you know it feels right to be my prey and let go. This is the moment of your release from life. Sunset mouthed the words almost completely inaudibly, "and… you… die…”
Sunset's eyes shut tightly and she bit down on her tongue to stifle her squeal as her nethers spasmed around her hoof, her juices coating her. She risked a brief, shuddering sigh as she slumped against the side of Celestia's throne, her whole body shivering from the satisfaction of her powerful climax. She could taste a little blood in her mouth from biting her tongue, but the coppery tang only made her fantasy feel more real. She tried to catch her breath quietly.
She looked up a second later to find Celestia looking her direction. Sunset’s stomach quickly tied in knots. Celestia peered at her and sounded concerned. “Sunset? Are you okay?”
“Um… of course. I’m just… not feeling myself.” Sunset chuckled nervously.
Celestia's mouth formed a concerned frown. “Sunset, I can already tell you’re acting strangely, but I don’t want to come to the wrong conclusion. Can you please tell me the truth?”
Sunset stammered, “It’s not what it looks like."
"I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. So, if I may ask, what were you doing, then?"
"I... um... was playing a game... n-nothing important, I was just messing around."
"I saw you look at me strangely."
Her stomach dropped and she paused awkwardly. "I was only looking at you to make sure you weren’t… looking at me.”
Celestia frowned and softly asked, “why wouldn’t you want me looking at you?”
Tears started welling up on Sunset’s face. “Um… because I…” her voice trailed off sadly.
Celestia stood up off her throne to face her, looking deeply worried. “Sunset? Is there a problem?” she asked with concern.
Sunset sounded on the verge of crying. “Yes,” she nodded.
Celestia stretched out a hoof in embrace. Sunset quickly walked forward to hug and she started crying.
“It doesn’t matter what the problem is, Sunset. I love you.”
Sunset leaned against her, softly sobbing for several minutes.
Finally Sunset broke the embrace. She sat back and looked at Celestia tearfully. “I feel like I’m being transformed… I’m scared of what I’m becoming.”
Celestia scanned her magic field just to be sure. “What do you mean, Sunset?”
Sunset hesitated, fear entering the pit of her stomach. “I’m just going to have to go ahead and say it. I… I… I feel the need to eat… other ponies.” She looked at the floor and cried anew.
Celestia gazed at Sunset Shimmer with confusion at first, and then hugged her even tighter. “It’s okay. Please don’t cry, Sunset.”
Sunset looked up tearfully and asked tentatively, “You’re not upset?”
Celestia shook her head, tears coming out of her eyes. “Of course not. Whatever is happening to you, I’ll always love you. I don’t want to see you hurting.”
Sunset took a few deep breaths and cried all over again. They embraced silently and Sunset allowed herself to feel just like a small filly basking in the princesses compassion until her emotional pain healed.
After a long time, Celestia said, "You don't have to go to see the dignitaries or participate in any events today. None of that really matters. I... just don't want you to be sad."
Sunset dried her eyes. "That's okay, I want to go. I want to be near you because I know you love me."
Celestia smiled and hugged Sunset tightly to her chest, her only concern being her student's happiness.

Fluttershy squeaked. “I don’t want to see any more death.”
Sunset whispered softly into her ear. “You don’t have to... I’ll take you to safety right now if you agree to be all mine: my special somepony.”
Fluttershy blushed in spite of herself. The fear of going to the factory and the hope of being saved from that fate combined with the suggestive nature of what Sunset was offering caught her off guard. "Special somepony? How do you mean?" She asks timidly, acting like a schoolfilly being asked on a date.
“Dawww, your innocent nature is so cute. I mean exactly what I said. I’m happy to be the one to swoop in and save you and you can return the favor just as dramatically by loving me back. There won't be any agonizing deaths for you, my cute little filly." Sunset booped her on the nose. "What you'll get instead is me and my passionate, romantic affections. All you have to do is follow me to safety.”
Fluttershy felt relief flood through her, to the point where her legs nearly give out under her. "Thank you, I promise I'll be a good mare and do anything you need." She said softly, smiling gratefully at Sunset.
Sunset smiled back. “You really are the best pony. Mmmm, your adorable little legs are trembling. Here, we can hold hooves. Let's go, lovey dovey.”
Fluttershy blushed and offered a hoof to Sunset, even being so bold as to give her a soft little nuzzle.
Sunset led them towards the back of the caverns behind some rocks. “You can’t see it yet, but I have a little magic door here. There's a tunnel that leads to a quiet place we can cuddle.”

The real Celestia grimaced. “I know that my enterprise may seem immoral, but I need to protect it because it’s an economic imperative. You’ve seen the numbers. You know my values and I do put Equestria first. If we don’t go forward, the economy is doomed.”
Tia countered, “The souls of the mirror pool are the ones who are truly doomed. It’s an endless cycle of torture and death! How could you allow such exploitation of the innocent? We’re not worth less than real ponies, we’re equals!”
Celestia sighed. “I’ve absolutely had enough. What are we going to do with the two of them?”

Sunset whimpered. “Tia, I never wanted to be like this. And now it’s too late.”
“I don’t think it’s too late," said Tia.

“Pinkie can you get her to the hospital?”

Tia patted Sunset’s mane. “I think it would be good if you were to get as far away from this business as you can. You are never going to feel any better about this life you’ve been trying to live because it isn’t you.”
Sunset smiled. “I’m not a killer.”
“No, you’re not," agreed Tia.
Pinkie jumped up and down excitedly. “This calls for a I’m-not-gonna-eat-ponies-anymore-party!”
Tia laughed. “You have a happy life ahead of you.”
Sunset thought for a moment. “I can talk to Celestia about ending the pony meat business.”
Tia shook her head, “Thanks, but I would feel the most peace of mind if you just walked away. You have your own problems to take care of.”
Sunset turned her head weakly to look at Pinkie. “Pinkie Pie, can you please stay by my side and make sure I’m okay? I’m harmless, and I don’t want to hurt anypony. I mean it.”

Pony Meat Business – Dissent
After Tia saw them safely through the forest, she had to depart. Sunset had a week long stay at the hospital and got all the help she could, but there was little they could do to reverse the damage.
