It was a bit after I had left the castle, and I was currently in the middle of something very important... something every man does when alone, something the human race has done since the beginning of time and space itself. So important, it was blasphemy to anyone who did not do it...

I was on the couch... eating Ice Cream, dressed in my underpants, watching a cartoon about talking candy canes. You know, the usual sunday thing that I do. It was not boring, and I had a friend with me! Looking over to my left, I saw a large white spider with a red marking on its back, it sat on the top of the couch's backrest munching on a small bug it found. It was a spider that Bon Bon and Lyra had named Scary, Bon Bon was in my kitchen with Lyra, both needing to borrow it for something and they brought along the spider, not wanting to leave it alone.

He was pretty fun.

"Mmm... Ice Creamy goodness~" I murmured as I jammed a spoonful of it into my mouth, tasting the delectable dairy concoction. Scary nodded in agreement, however he probably thought I was talking about the show, it was good too it not a bit cheesy. But I was too busy eating my munchies, so... yeah... But, like always, all good things must come to an end, as Twilight interrupted my manly ice cream time by transporting into my living room, in front of my TV no less. The smell of ozone and a sharp pop accompanied her as she appeared before me like a fairy.

"Hey Lee! I hav-" She stopped short when she saw me reclining on the couch and her eyes drifted downwards, then a massive blush appeared on her face before she coughed awkwardly and turned away. Now, maybe you're wondering, why is she blushing? Well, for one thing I'm still in my underwear, and the next reason is probably because my legs are spread out quite a bit and I'm wearing my loose boxers instead of my tightie whities. So I guess my junk was on display or something. "Umm..."

"Admiring me Twily?" I asked, grinning idiotically. "I know, I am such a sight, amirite?" When she blushed and said nothing, I laughed, "Okay okay, what are you doing here, got another rock to show me?" I inquired, maybe she found what was worn off somewhere? I hate never finding out the ending.

Shaking her head, she produced a letter from... somewhere, and held it up in front of me, still looking away. I snatched it out of the air and looked it over, spotting the royal seal and the cursive writing of Princess Cadence. I felt one of my eyebrows rise up gloriously in question.

"Hmm... why show me this?" I asked, opening it up.

Twilight cleared her throat, grabbing the blanket I had on my couch and throwing it over my lap before making eye contact. "She sent this letter just this morning and I forgot to show it to you!" She giggled happily as Bon Bon and Lyra came into the living room, spotting Twilight they pranced over to her.

As they talked about, whatever, I opened up the letter. It was strange to see a letter when usually the royalty sent scrolls, guess Cadence works differently? I wouldn't know, we haven't talked much aside from the odd scroll sent back and forth between ourselves. I started to read it, even though I had a hard time reading cursive, stop being so damn fancy people.

Hi Twilight! Its me Cadence, but you probably already knew that from the seal, silly me.

Anyway, I just wanted to tell you me and Shiny's anniversary is coming up soon, and I wanted to invite you and Aunty Celly and Luna, and your friends to spend the week with us in the Crystal Empire! Oh! And be sure to bring Lee along, I miss him a lot, if you see him, tell him we need to hang out some more.

I hope you decide to come Twily!

My eyes widened, seeing Cadence again would be awesome! I turned to ask Twilight if she was going to, but I instead found my eyes were locked on my empty tub of Ice Cream I had placed to the side... the entire thing was licked clean... I had at least half of that still left! Furrowing my brows in confusion, I looked around for the culprit, only to spot Scary... a little bit of Ice Cream stuck on his mandibles.

"... I don't even want to know how you did that." I said as I stood up, tossing my cover back onto the couch.

A Night With: Rainbow Dash 2

After talking with Twilight, Bonny and Lyra, Twilight and I had set out to find the girls while Lyra and Bonny stayed at my house. I trusted Bonny, to not wreck everything, but Lyra... not so much, she's a bro, much like Dashie, but she can be a bit... wonky sometimes, hehe. They were still messing round with my stove, why is that? Anywho... The two of us walked along the dirt path into Ponyville, the air was blowing slightly and the sun was shining brightly like always. Oh, before I left, I decided to dress myself in some duds that brought a sense of nostalgia to me. My clothes I wore when I first appeared in this lovely realm.

It consisted of my Rainbow Dash shirt, my jacket which I wore over my shirt, it was black and made of one hundred percent awesome, of course. My jeans, which were a bit torn up but still fit like a glove~ A pair of suspenders which hung off of said jeans, my wallet and chain, and my sneakers. I also had on my backpack that I wore during my collage days, I had it with me that day in the bar to hold some books, one of which happened to be my Zombie Survival Guide that Twilight has been obsessing over for quite some time.

This was my look in Collage, course I was always picked on because of my looks, I didn't care. Rainbow was my bae, and she's my girlfriend, so ha! Suck on that, haters. She's the best kind of girlfriend a guy could have, loyal, awesome, has a caring side under all the arrogance, and she is blue. What's not to love? Hehehe, man... who would have thought I would end up with a blue colored rainbow maned pegasus? No one, that's who. I could only sigh as I thought of all the time me and Dash shared in this world.

We've done a lot, faced down some baddies, gotten into some epic races and even broken a few bones together.

Awesome times.

"Heeeeeeeeeeeey STRETCH!" I heard, prompting me to whip around and catch the culprit about to blast into me. I felt the object collide into me almost at full speed causing me to dig my heels into the ground, I felt myself get pushed back as dirt was kicked up and somehow I managed to keep standing despite being hit by almost a hundred pounds of pure muscle and fluff. But, I eventually fell onto the ground, dragging the culprit with me.

"Sup Dashie? To what do I owe the pleasure of you almost killing me?" I asked with a smile as I glanced down at Rainbow, who had her arms wrapped around me. Her eyes looking up into my own.

"What? I can't crash into my coltfrend?" She asked, quickly pecking me on the cheek before leaning away to look at me. "Hey, aren't those your old clothes?" She asked, poking at my shirt.

"Eeyup." I smiled, tugging my shirt collar forward and letting it snap back. "I wish my shirt wasn't faded though," I looked down at it, seeing only bits and pieces of Rainbow's mane on my shirt. the last three years in this world had really worn it down a bit, so only Rainbow's mane, cutie mark and name remained.

Rainbow could only smile as she saw her name and mark on my shirt, no doubt liking the fact I was wearing what I wore when we first met. "You could probably get Rarity to fix it up if you wanted to," she commented, tapping my shirt with a small smile. "She'd probably jump at the chance to fix up something of yours."

I hummed in thought, maybe I should ask her. "I might, anyway." I looked over at Twilight, who was smiling towards me and Dash. "Were you doing a trick or something? Or just decided to crash into me?" I asked with a smirk.

My rainbow maned girl said nothing at first, instead looking away. "Urrm..."

"Are you too overcome by my awesome to say anything?" I wondered, poking her muzzle.

"I just... uh, wanted to crash into ya, duh." She slugged my arm...

Fucking ow... just ow... that hurts more then you think, but I'll let it slide. I rubbed my arm, wincing. "Anyway. Twi got a letter from Cadence, inviting us to the Crystal Empire." I told her, ruffling her mane much to her delight. "So we were looking for the girls to round up and ask if they were free, I'm going so here I am ask-"

"Of course I'll go with ya!" She practically yelled, waving her hooves around. I recoiled slightly from her outburst as she blushed slightly. "I mean, uh... sure, I'll go, if that's cool with you dude." Rainbow agreed, rubbing the back of her head sheepishly.

Jeez, I've never seen her like that before, hehe. I wonder what prompted that? Well she was going, that was good enough for me. I shrugged. "Cool, now we just need to get the other girls." As I started to get up, I caught Rainbow give me a half saddened look as I let her go. But she suddenly perked up, her wings standing at attention.

"I know, I'll go get them for you." Dash flapped her wings once, taking flight in the air above me. "I'll round em up in ten seconds flat!" Without another word she took off at speeds only she could do.

A sigh. "Hey Twi," I looked over at Twilight, who was scratching her chin in thought. "Does Dash seem... a bit off to you?" I asked, dusting off my pants. I needed to get these fixed, maybe I'll take Rainbow's advice to heart and ask Rarity to help me out. She did owe me after all all the times I tasted wine with her, granted I like wine as much as the next guy but sheesh. Give a guy a break, my tolerance ain't that high, unlike some people *cough*

The mare next to me only hummed in thought. "I guess she is acting a bit odd, has been for a couple of months now... you've never noticed until now?" She questioned, I could only shake my head. I didn't know that, but then again I don't notice things like that often even though I am quite observant... from time to time, anyway. "Hmm... maybe you should ask her when she gets back?"

I nodded, now that I think about it, she has been acting kinda weird. Sometimes I'd catch her glancing my way, only to shy away when I look towards her... kind of like when I took her out to the Green Dragon, she was acting weird because she really liked me. But... why is she acting like this now? Doesn't make any sense to me, I should ask her.

Speaking of which.

"WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

"OH MY!"

"SLOW DOWN RAINBOW, CONSARN IT!"

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Speak of the devil, and... oh shit. She brought them all... oh lordy.

"LOOK OUT BELOW!"

*CRAAAAAAASH*

I could only watch as Rainbow, along with the rest of the elements crash into Twilight. How she carried them all here I'll never know, she's got some super strength or some shit. My eyebrows twitched as the dust settled, and all my favorite elements all sat in a pile on the ground rubbing their sore flanks.

"Gosh darn it Rainbow!" AJ chided, poking the blue pegasus in the head. "Why did ya have ta snatch me up from th' farm like that?"

Rarity, meanwhile coughed up dirt and fanned the air around her. "My stars Rainbow Dash, whatever prompted you to foalnap me from my home?"

"That was fun!" Pinkie cried, hopping up and down before somehow leaping into the air and landing on my shoulder... like a parrot. I had to struggle to keep standing.

Fluttershy, bless her heart looked scared out of her mind. Deciding to stand in, I said. "Uhh, well Rainbow brought you here," I shot her a look, which she returned with a sheepish smile. "So Twi could tell you something." As I said that, every one of them looked over at Twilight who took that as her cue to pull out the letter.

"Ahem," Twilight cleared her throat. "Princess Cadence, has invited all of us to spend the weekend in the Crystal Empire!" She cheered, pulling out seven train tickets out of nowhere. A closer look would show the date stamp and such, but I wasn't paying attention to that, I was too busy wondering when I was going to get something to eat.

Ice Cream only does so much for my belly.

Looking over at the girls, I could see they were excited, Rarity in particular. "Oh my stars!" She swooned, "The Crystal Empire? Do tell me this is not a prank!"

Twilight could only chuckle. "Nope! Its the truth, she's invited us, the princesses and Lee to the Empire for the weekend."

"Its going to be awesome," I chimed in, I had never been there, so obviously I wanted to go. I've been told its hecka bright and made out of pure crystal, and the ponies were the same. Funky delicious if you ask me, hehehe. "I've always heard such good things about it, so being able to go there for the first time ought to be awesome!" A laugh escaped me as Pinkie dropped from my shoulder and landed on the ground in a weird pose. "Anyway, Twilight and I were hoping you'd all want to come with us, Rainbow's in. Are you guys?"

AJ stood up, tilting her hat back with a grin. "Well sure Ah am! Going back ta th' Empire oughtta be fun!"

"You are right my dear," Rarity piped up, nodding. "I am in as well."

"You can count me in! TO PARTY!" Pinkie Pie bounced around us with a smile on her face, I laughed at her silliness.

"I guess, I'm in also, if that's okay that is." Fluttershy agreed, hiding behind her mane as always, poking the ground shyly.

I could only smile, "This is going to be awesome!" Whipping around and pointing forward I yelled. "To the Crystal Empire!"

...

...

Silence...

"Crystal Empire's the other way, Lee." Rainbow told me, chuckling as the other girls giggled at my expense. "Fluttershy's house is that way."

I sweatdropped. "I knew that!" I pouted, crossing my arms as Pinkie slugged me in the arm.

"You're silly!"

"... so are you balloon butt!"

Laughter rang out from the girls and I threw up my arms.

"RAAAAHHGEEGEEGEEHOOOOO!"

After our little get together, we each had gone home to pack some things. We had to be quick though, the tickets were dated today, and that meant the train was leaving in about an hour or so. I had sprinted home while everyone else split up, Rainbow had darted off to her house faster then anyone could see, that girl could move fast, that's for sure...

Get your mind out of the DAVID GUTTA! Anyway, I had barged into my abode and... got lost, somehow. I didn't have much I could take with me, and my backpack was empty. Now maybe you're wondering why I was carrying around an empty pack... what good hero doesn't? I might find some neat shit on the ground, and I'll need the room, duh! But, maybe I could pack some essentials...

SNACKS!

Rushing into my kitchen and yanking open my cupboard, I was deftly made aware of the fact I had no food. "Damn it." I cursed, shaking my head. I needed to restock when I got back home... home... that word, for me had a double meaning. My home was here, in Ponyville, where my friends were, where I had been living for the past three years, (I spent the first year with Luna and Celly in the castle)... but my real home, was back on earth, in New York, in my apartment flat on 32nd street on the fifteenth floor next door to a guy who was obsessed with the Apocalypse, Nacho Cheese Doritos and Pokemon.

Back home on earth was... harsh if i was being honest. While I was close to finishing collage, I still had a job and it was far from being the best kind. I was working in a subway, not Subway the delicious food place, but a nasty ass subway filled with every disease known to mankind. Trust me, look hard enough and you'll come across them somewhere down in that cesspool of disease. It was... moderately decent pay, that and coupled with my art that I sold online and what small venues I played with my violin kept me from becoming homeless. Yeah I was pretty, decently talented in a lot of fields. I had too much free time on my hands and I could stay up for hours learning something.

So I ended up learning the violin, drawing and painting, and a bit of other stuff too. Anything that could help me make money, and it turned out well in the end. But when I wasn't doing all that, I worked in the subway as a janitor... a fucking janitor of all things. I didn't qualify to operate the trains, I was deemed unfit... how the hell can one be fit to drive a train? I know how to work the danged switches, not my fault I almost ended up killing like sixty people during the training thing.

Jeez.

Turning away from my kitchen I rushed into my bedroom and went to my closet, and opening it up I saw... absolutely nothing. What can I say? I had nothing to my name except this house and the clothes on my back, and pile of dirty clothes sitting on the floor of my closet. "Eh, better then nothing." I mused as I grabbed a shirt, some other pants and a pair of boots Rarity made me for when she and I traveled into the mountains for some gemstones.

After throwing them into my backpack, I grabbed my sketchpad, some pencils and erasers, and my camera. Putting those away, I smiled to myself, got... well... everything actually. Hell my house is empty as fuck, I have nothing in this place, jeez. Like I said before, I need to get some stuff when I get back. Turning on my heel I started out the door, all of us were going to meet at the train station in a few minutes.

Here's hoping I can get there without running into anythi-

"Hey Lee!" Three happy young squeaky voices cried in joy.

Rainbow's Perspective

Buuuuuuuuck I'm going to end up being late because of this. I scolded myself as I threw one of my Daring Do books into my bag, along with a small box. I took a quick moment to look at myself in the mirror of my room, my mane had grown out quite a bit in the last few months, mostly because I let it grow out. I remember Lee saying how much he liked it and well... this ended up happening. I chuckled. I can't believe myself... I end up with a stallio-err... human, and I end up changing myself to please him... what's happened to me?

It was true, I did change myself a bit, mostly my looks. My name and tail grew out longer, my wings were a tad fluffier, and I had that tuft of fur growing out on my chest. Looking down at it, I prodded it with a hoof and smiled softly.

I should tell Lee what that means, among other things. With a sigh I took a look back at the small box I had thrown into my bag. That was something I was going to give him... something that I wanted to give him to really show how much I love him. Soon Dash, soon... Zipping over to my bag I closed it up and threw it over my back, after making sure it was going to stay I flapped my wings and took flight and out my window, as I eyed the train station I could make out Twilight's form standing around waiting. "Leave it to the egghead to make it there first." Without another word I dashed on over.

I loved the feeling of the wind as I flew as fast as I could, it was... an amazing feeling tat I couldn't describe perfectly if you asked me. You just have to feel it for yourself, its just... that feeling of being free, without bounds... its beautiful in a sense. I'm no poet but, come on.

Eventually - actually ten seconds flat! - I arrived at the terminal and landed next to Twilight who looked at me with a smile. "Hi Dash, glad you could make it. Now if only the others would arrive." She muttered, hopping in place.

I had to stifle a laugh before setting a hoof on her shoulder to calm her down. "Jeez, calm down Twilight, they'll be here, not everypony has to be right on time like you, egghead." I laughed, getting an eyeroll in response.

Twilight sighed before pulling out, much to my surprise, a notepad with a checklist. "Rainbow, check."

I facehoofed. "Really?"

"Yes really, being orderly is essential to a healthy life."

I thought about that for a moment, shaking my head and saying. "... is not!"

She gave me a look. "Is so!"

I shot one back. "Is not!"

Twilight stepped up to me, getting in my face. "Is so!"

I stepped forward as well, meeting her halfway. "Is not!"

She got in my face, her snout pressed up against my own. "Is so!"

I pushed back, baring my teeth. "Is not!"

"How is it not?" Twilight questioned, shooting me a look once more.

"I'm never orderly, and look how I turned out!" I told her, stepped back and showing off. "Look at my body, I'm toned to perfection!" I told her, flexing my forelegs like Lee does with his arms. "Look at these muscles! I'm the epitome of sexy, I could be a model if I wanted to!"

"I dare say Rainbow Dash, I might be able to help you with that." A rather sophisticated voice from behind us said with an amused tone.

Looking behind myself, I saw Fancy Pants standing next to his wife with an amused expression on his face, his wife having a similar one on hers. I suddenly felt like my face was on fire. Moving quickly I got back down onto all fours and coughed. "Hey there Fancy, how are you doing?" Asked, smiling as i puffed out my chest, my face still felt hot. Hehehe... oi.

Fancy Pants laughed kindheartedly and looked over at Twilight. "Greetings Princess Twilight," He bowed a curtsy bow. "And I'm doing quite fine Miss Dash, how are you two doing?" He eyed our bags, and hummed. "Going somewhere on a trip?"

Twilight nodded. "Yes we are actually, Princess Cadence sent us an invitation to the Crystal Empire! So me and the girls are heading down to spend the week with them."

Fancy nodded as Fleur came over to me. "That does sound quite fun, say, is Lee going with you?" I guess he wanted to know how he was doing.

"Yes he is, he should be here in a bit." Twilight answered as Fleur asked me something.

"Hello Rainbow Dash, how are you doing mon ami?" She greeted me, giving me a quick hug which I returned. You probably didn't know this, but me and Fleur were actually pretty good friends... don't ask how, or why. We just are.

"I'm doing well, thanks for asking." I smiled as Twilight and Fancy Pants got into a deep conversation involving bananas and socks... Oh goddess why even? "How about you?"

"Oh I am doing well, Fancy and I are heading to zee Crystal Empire as well, it will be a fun trip for us all, no?" She smiled that pretty smile of hers.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not into fillies (not a whole lot, I'm bi, but Lee doesn't know that) but Fleur had such a beautiful smile, and a damn good body. I would say I'm jealous, but I'm pretty damn good looking, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten Lee. "Yeah, I'm sure it will be pretty exciting." Then, suddenly, the conversation in the train station ceased to a halt as a scream broke out. Everypony looked over to where it came from and to my shock and slight amusement I saw Lee hogtied, in the crusader's wagon, being pulled by the three a speeds that shouldn't have been possible. "Oh buck."

*CRASH*

Lee made a noise akin to a cat whining. "My face! My beautiful face!" Lee cried.

I saw Apple Bloom stand up from the cart, looking at my human with a giggle. "Your face ain't beautiful Lee!" A filly laughed.

"You're just jealous!" Lee retorted.

Laughter rang out from the three as the rest of the girls came up, eyeing the crash with different expressions. "What in tarnation?"

A gasp. "Its our sisters! CODE BLACK! CODE BLACK!" Apple Bloom cried, hiding behind Lee's form with the other two.

Lee looked over at the girls looking at him with amused expressions, his face having a bit of blood on it as he was still tied up. "Your sisters broke my handsome manly man face."

Sweetie peaked out from behind him. "We were just trying to get our hog tying cutie marks." She squeaked.

Lee groaned. "I am neither a hog nor a person to be tied up! You're lucky you three are absolutely cute and snuggable, otherwise I'd punt you half way cross the country." Lee pouted, struggling to get out of his bindings. "Halp meh!"

I sighed, trotting over to him. What a day.

"Be gentle! Scootaloo broke my butt muscles, I cannot, for the life of me, flex them appropriately."

"Well, you shouldn't be so fat!" Said pegasus filly retorted as she poked him with her hoof, pouting.

"I am not fat! I am festively plump!" Lee bit back, frowning in her direction before licking her face, causing her to squeal in disgust and blush.

"Ewwww! Human cooties!"

Sweetie and Apple Bloom looked to each other as I undid one of the ropes and together, they yelled. "CUTIE MARK CRUSADER COOTIE DOCTORS YAY!" Then pulled out... doctors tools?

Scootaloo looked between them both. "Uh oh."

"Run Scoots run!" Lee cackled as the two fillies chased after her, the pegasus screaming as the two tried to 'operate' on her.

Crystal Empire, here we come.
