Eyes wide, hands clammy, hair sweaty, butthole firmly puckered up... this was terrifying in more ways then I could possibly imagine. I mean... I've seen plenty of crazy looking ponies, but this Magma chick was by far, the most scary looking. She looked like something out of a fucking demon movie, staring the devil as a main character. She was, relatively tall, maybe a foot or so taller then Rainbow Dash. She had scary looking fire red eyes narrowed into slits, and a red/orange mane and tail that reminded me of lava, her body was red, like... fire red, she was a lot of red. The bottom of her hooves and her fetlocks, to my surprise were blackened, with deep gashes glowing red/orange, pulsating like a heartbeat.

She was... shockingly attractive. I shook my head, Rainbow was my girl, not this, pony? Was she a pony?

The four guards of mine got into a defensive position in front of me, wielding their weapons without a second thought. Breaking Dawn drug me back, grabbing my shirt in her teeth and yanking me back. "Shit!" I cursed, getting up and yanking out my sword.

Magma just eyed the five of us, her eyes locked on my own. "Are you not well?" She asked me, her very words carried something and it scared me.

The fuck is she?! I wondered as breaking Dawn looked about ready to break some shit. I held my blade in a defensive position, eyeing the mare. If i got into a fight with her, would I even win this shit?! She was practically melting the hallway with her heat, or power or whatever the fuck it was she was doing.

"Who are you!?" The Major questioned as she lifted her spear, pointing it at the mare who eyed the instrument with an eyebrow raise. "State your business!"

Magma's right wing twitched, and i felt a breeze of hot air rush over me before I heard a yelp of pain. Looking towards the Major I saw her hooves were on fire and her spear tip had melted. Rushing over I ripped of my jacket and covered her hooves in them, putting out the fire and raising my blade towards the mare. "Back off! Who are you and what do you want!"

"I say, this is now what I expected to see when I came back to the training room." I heard Luna say from behind Magma. Looking over behind the mare I saw the princess of the night looking at Magma with a tired look in her eyes. "Would you mind?" She asked.

Magma bowed her head, "My deepest apologies your majesty." she said, her flames dissipating and the room going back to its normal temperature. "I seem to be a bit rusty..."

My eyebrows twitched dangerously, teeth grinding as I fell to my knees... the sword dropped to my side, I held my hands up high, throwing my head back and yelling two words that fully expressed my full and uncensored feelings unto the others...

"BUCK FUTT!"

Rainbow's Perspective

"Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow," I moaned, getting up and dusting off my wings, I shook my head next, regretting the action instantly as I opened my eyes...

Darkness.

This is absolute shit! I cursed inwardly, trying to see in the darkness. I could't, however... there was no light to be seen anywhere. Just my luck, stupid voice made me go down here and no I'm trapped in the darkness with no way out!

"~There is light, you just have to look hard enough~"

"~I am going to punch you in the teeth~" I told the voice, growling as I tried to feel around for anymore holes leading to more impending darkness.

"~I know you are angry right now, but I am not tricking you,~" She told me, making me frown anyways. "~Look ahead.~"

I shook my head, trying to look forward, I saw nothing at first. But squinting my eyes, I could make out a faint sparkling light, I growled under my breath, taking a shaky step forward and heading for the light. As I did, I thought about Lee, how was he doing with his thing with Luna? I hope he was learning something good, we need to be prepared if Sombra's going to attack us all. So do I. I noted, I still needed a better way to fight, everypony did. Twilight had her magic, she was pretty much good in terms of that department.

Applejack was strong, and could crack somepony's head open if she wanted to with her applebucking skills. Fluttershy had her stare, and Discord to back her in any combat situations, Rarity was a good sort and had some fighting skills, her eye for detail and her ability at multitasking outshines even Twilight.

And Pinkie Pie... well... she's Pinkie Pie, she always has some weird thing to help out with.

I had my speed and agility, and I was really good at Hurricane Style combat. Being a master of it like my mom and dad are, and... well... most of the pegasi who've come out of the training camps I went to. Everypony had to learn Hurricane Style, it was another pegasi tradition that's slowly dying out. So many things were dying out that were pegasi pride...

"~Teach your foals, when you have them of course.~" The voice told me, making me stop in my tracks.

"What?!" I screamed, my voice echoing around the cave. F-foals?! "I'm not having foals!"

"~Maybe not as of this very moment, Rainbow Dash,~" The voice told me once again, making me shiver. "~But someday you will.~"

My head shook, and I spoke before I could think. "I can't... not with Lee." Another head shake. "But it doesn't matter, we're not exactly planning on having any to begin with, we're still young and... I have the Wonderbolts, and he doesn't want to... Why am I talking about this?!" I fumed, walking towards the light, why was I talking or even thinking about this to begin with? I'm only twenty two for crying out loud, I'm barely at that point in life to start thinking about wanting kids...

I mean... at some point I... I might but...

Just stop thinking about it. I told myself, this was ridiculous.

The journey through the cavern was long, and it annoyed me, not knowing whether or not I was going to fall into another hole or even water. Lee had told me in excruciating detail on how much he hated being in dark places trapped in water, he had it happen to him once back on Earth and it nearly killed his confidence of going into places. Of course he's better now, but still. I don't know what that would be like, but thinking about it made me shiver.

I was a born flyer, I loved flying and being in dark confining places was not my cup of tea.

Nope.

Up ahead I could see the light getting brighter and brighter, and it made the path in front of me visible. I smiled, speeding up and making my way over to it. Now that I was closer, I could see it was an entrance, where it led I didn't know. But I guess I would be finding out. Making my way over to it, I slipped in through the entrance, and I saw...

"Holy shit."

Yep, that's pretty accurate.

The entire, room, I guess you could call it, was huge and well lit from whatever light source was down here. Looking closer, I could see the room was pure crystal, a sort of crystal that was brighter than a torch and filled the room with a rainbow hued brilliant light. Arches of crystal grew within, jutting out of the walls and the ceiling, colored every hue of the rainbow. I could see a bridge made of crystal formed in the middle, I was standing on it actually. But in the middle of this place, I saw a tower of rainbow colored crystal, and next to it... stood a single pony.

A pony with a rainbow mane.

"Hello Rainbow Dash." She greeted me, smiling.

I just stared.

"The feck?"

Lee's Perspective

"..." I just stared at the two alicorns and the smouldering pegasus in between then.

"..." Luna was quiet.

"..." Celestia was as well.

"..." As was Magma.

"... The ever living fuck, I hate secrets." I told them, crossing my arms. I wanted them all to know I hate secrets with a bloody passion, especially when they are kept from deliberatly. "Seriously?"

Celly nodded her head. "Yes, I am quite serious."

"You knew this entire time?"

"Yes."

"... a part of me wants to punch your teeth down your throat," I told her pointedly, poking my finger at her. "For reals, I quite literally told you to stahp keeping secrets from me, especially if they were a Type Three!"

Sharp Sight raised her hoof beside me. "What's that?"

Luna sighed. "Lee has a list of various things to not keep from him, this is classified as a type three." She told the mare as I fished out my journal which I carried with me everywhere. Inside was a lot of shit I've written down, stuff that is very important.

I flipped through it, looking for the page I had the thing written on. When I found it, I stabbed my finger at the ink and recited what was written. "Type Three - spectral beings, the knowledge of spirits, beings, souls, etc, trapped, possessed or enchanted within a weapon, object, clothing, etc, shall not be kept secret from one: Lee Jacobson. The punishment for breaking said rule is cake withdrawal." I leveled my gaze at Celly, eyeballing the princess of the day as she heaved a sigh. Her horn glowed a bright golden color and then I heard a pop sound, and floating in front of me was one of her cakes. "Gimme!" I said, snatching said cake and devouring it in front of her slowly.

Celestia only sighed. "Anyway, both Luna and I both knew of her existence ever since the blade was discovered centuries ago." Celestia looked at Magma, making me raised an eyebrow. "She is... was one of Faust's original Elements of Harmony."

That made me cough, holy shit! After managing not to choke to death on the cake I devoured, I asked, "Wait wait wait, she was an Element of Harmony?" I pointed right at Magma, and she didn't even seem perturbed, only stone faced like always...

I wonder if she's related to Maud somehow?

"Yes she was, Lee," Luna started, looking at the mare herself. "She represented the Element of Laughter."

I found my eyes locked with Magma, the mare doing the same. This pegasus was the same element as Pinkie Pie!? Oh... ohoho... oh lordy, the Irony of this is astoundingly large. But she was with Faust? The second I heard about Faust being a legit thing in this world, I had to learn a little more about her. Turns out she had the Elements of Harmony with her, but I didn't know they were actual ponies, I thought she used the like Celly and Luna did. In crystal form or whatever.

But if Magma was an element, then... who were the other five?

"So Magma was Laughter?" I chuckled, the mare nodding to what I said. "Oh the irony... okay, I can roll with that information, but why is she..." I waved my fingers about, getting some looks from my guards. "What's the word?"

"Out?" Sharp Sight threw out hopefully with a smile.

"Mmm, nope." I said, making her pout cutely. Oh gawd don't do that.

"Escaped?" Breaking Dawn wondered.

"Uh uh." I shook my head, making her snort.

"Manifested?" Major Black Heart asked.

I snapped my fingers, "Something like that," I shrugged.

"I think the word you are looking for is, why has Magma appeared now?" Celestia asked, again I shrugged. Celestia just gestured to Magma. "Magma is... centuries old, Lee... older then me and Luna even, she is a warrior that knows no equal, and has been forever faithful to Equestria since Faust's reign." Finally, Celly's eyes locked on my own, and for a brief moment I felt a bit scared. "She has appeared, to fight alongside you much like she has done for Luna and I."

I found my head tilting at an angle, and it kept going until my head was almost sideways. No seriously, if it kept going I'd probably snap my neck. "So... Magma is..."

"I am here to be your guardian, young Lee." Magma told me, her voice still as hot as ever... I mean it, I was sweating just listening to her, Jesus fucking Christ! "My blade is yours to command." She bowed her head, the heat in the room cooling down considerably.

Rainbow's Perspective

I stared at the pony next to the crystal tower, she was... whoa. She had a pure white coat, almost as white as Princess Celestia's and just as shiny, her eyes... her eyes were crazy, both of them were colored like both of our manes, rainbow hues. It was, strange but... it fit somehow. And her mane was almost a mock of mine, but hers was longer, and the colors were more prominent then my own.

The mare was beautiful... very.

"Rainbow Dash?" She asked, melodic tones shocking me from my stare.

"Uh... who are you?" I asked, the sight of her drew me in somehow, making me step closer. Who was she?

The mare smiled, then I heard "~I am Faith~" She said, her voice sounding much clearer then before.

"Wait..." I stopped moving, my eyes locking on hers. "You're... you'e the voice i my head?"

She nodded. "Yes, I apologize if you expected something... else." The mare smiled once more, beckoning me closer. I decided why not? If she tried anything, I could always punch her teeth in.

Moving closer, I asked, "Okay, if you're the voice in my head... then what's your real name?" My eyes narrowed at her, and she seemed amused. "Cause I doubt your name is actually Faith."

Another smile. "You are right, my name is not Faith... is it... Prism." Craning her head towards the tower, she asked. "Do you know what this place is?"

I gave the area another look around, nothing came to mind. "Uh, no... my history lessons are a bit lacking." I deadpanned, turning to face her as she sat down, I joined her and found both of us to be of similar height, but she was a bit taller then me by a few inches.

"This place, is not know by many save for the Princesses, the Queen, and a few others who have been trusted with this place's location." She told me sagely, "This cave, this tower, everything you see here." Rainbow eyes locked on magenta ones, and she said, "it is the birthplace of the Elements of Harmony."

"..." My eyes widened, mouth falling open. "Wait... that can't be, the Tree of Harmony..."

"Is where they were kept safe," She told me, I could only sit and listen as she started her tale. "Eons ago, before Queen Faust's rule, there was a period of darkness that engulfed this world..." Her voice sounded distant as she recalled the memories, a few crystals next to us sprouted up, and I saw flashes of images, some that showed a white earth pony foal with a small body. "This poor soul was born an Earth Pony, a gaunt little thing with barely any strange in her body. Sickly, really."

Faust? I wondered, who was that?

Turned her attention to a crystal, she continued. "Nopony thought she was going to survive for very long, given her poor health and weak body, but somehow, through force of will she lived. years later," Another crystal popped up, one showing the same filly, only grown up. "She grew sick and tired of her life within her village, and had left on a journey, for what no pony knew." The crystal switched to show the filly trotting down a dark road, the filly covered in dirt and grime. "As it turns out, the filly had a vision when she was younger, six objects of great power that called to her."

"What did she do?" I wondered.

"She sough them out, of course." Prism said, looking down at the filly in the crystal. "She wanted to change Equestria, and she would do anything, even if it meant traversing across a dangerous land to get them." Another image popped up, showing the filly grown up a bit more, but still rather sickly looking, however... she wasn't alone. "Along the way, she encountered another Earth pony, a stallion whom she befriended and joined her journey, seeking an honest life for himself." More crystals grew, and I wondered if she was an Alicorn with a hidden horn or something. "But, the longer her journey took her, the more comrades she encountered... five others joined her."

When I saw the image, I saw the filly had grown even more, and her traveling buddies all looked different. Two of them were unicorns, one was darkened brown color and had a messy mane, the second unicorn was blue and was wearing an eyepatch. The other two were earth ponies, and the others pegasi. One of the pegasi... looked strangely familar.

"Hey... is that..." I whispered, looking at the pegasi in the picture in the image.

"That pony was an odd one, the only one in all of Equestria with a pure white body and a rainbow colored mane, and eyes." She giggled.

I looked at Prism... "That's you isn't it..."

She nodded. "Yes... it is me." Her smile had waned now, and looked more... sad, then it was before. "And those ponies are my friends... were... my friends... anyway." A sigh. "To cut the story short... the Elements were found within this cave, and by found... I mean they were grown," Looking around at the crystals, Prism held out her hoof to one of the and touched it, a faint sound could be heard, like humming. "That filly, and her friends came to this place, finding it deep within their hearts they represented something Equestria would need..."

"And what is that?"

She looked at me, her smile returning. "Friendship." Another humming noise. "They found friendship within their hearts, and each one of them used a special part of themselves to create six powerful objects..." She looked down at her chest, her hoof reaching up and rubbing the place where a small tuft of fur stuck out. "The Elements of Harmony."

My mind felt... overwhelmed by all of this. "You're one of the original Elements... aren't you?" I asked her, seeing her nod, I cursed Lee and Twilight... they were making me smart.

"I was your element," She looked up at me. "Loyalty, through thick and thin, all of the hardships my friends endured, I stuck by their sides through it all." her eyes seemed downcast, and misty. "It was hard to find friendship and loyalty in Old Equestria... if was everypony for themselves." Sitting up straight and wiping her eyes, she cleared her throat. "But, that's in the past... and this is now." Looking towards the tower, she asked, "Do you truly wish to help your coltfriend, Lee?"

I stood up, nodding my head. "Of course I am, otherwise I wouldn't have fallen down a fucking hole to begin with." I frowned, narrowing one eye at her.

Another smile. "Well then... I hope you're ready." Her hoof touched the crystal tower, and everything went white.

Lee's Perspective - Two Hours Later

"BALLS!" I yelled, standing outside in the city, my lips puckered, my butt cheeks clenched tightly enough to crack a walnut, and my arms limp like soggy ass noodles. Several ponies looked at me, including Celestia who was walking by my side, Magma couldn't give a bigger shit it seemed as she kept walking with her eyes forward. My guards were likewise the same, Sharp sight flying overhead and the others off to one side.

"Problems Lee?" Celly asked me, raising an eyebrow.

"Tired... very tried." I admitted, the thought of this upcoming battle wearing me out.

"MONKEY!" I heard.

I replied in the way a gentleman always replies. "GODDAMN IT!" I screamed, whipping around and facing the assnugget who I should bake into a cupcake. Standing behind me, with more ponies then before, was Firespin. "Seriously? New Insult I command it!"

"Screw you monkey boy!" He yelled, flying in my face and apparently the sight of a giant white Alicorn, four bat pony guards and a smoldering pegasus were off his radar at the moment. "I've got backup this time!" He laughed, turning around to get his boys to attack me, only they were all frozen. "Let's beat down this fool!"

"..."

"..."

"..."

Firespin just narrowed his eyes at them. "What are you waiting for!? Your mama to tell you what to do?!"

"B-b-boss! Its th-"

"Th-th-th-th-th what you idiot!"

"Ahem." A dainty voice to my right cleared.

Northern Horizon Hay bales, 35 bits.

Sweet Apple Acres Apple pie, 12 bits.

Pinkie Pie's Cupcakes, 4 bits.

Firespin's reaction to Celestia... priceless.

"Pr-pri-pri-" He couldn't even finish, I'm pretty sure he was about so shit himself.

That... might explain the smell I'm smelling right now.

Celestia narrowed her eyes. "I remember you, Firespin, son of Wind Rider."

I almost coughed on my spit again. He's the son ofthat asshole?! I looked at Firespin and narrowed my own eyes at him, you have to be kidding me.

"Pri-Pri-Princess Celestia!?" He choked, he was sweating quite a bit.

"I heard from my friend Lee here... you attacked my niece." She snorted, steam leaving her nostrils.

Uh oh, she mad.

"Uh, well... you see, um..." Firespin laughed nervously, looking to both sides.

Nigga trying ta escape?!

"Well?" Celestia stepped closer, making him flap his wings a bit to retreat. My guards had landed now and were advancing from behind on all sides, and Magma was standing to one side, blocking any escape route. I joined in on the fun, effectively boxing him in. His friends had did the smart thing and ran away, leaving behind a smoke trail.

Firespin gulped, beads of seat trailing down his head as his eyes darted all around. "Screw you all!" He screamed, bolting up.

Fuck.

Firepin shot off into the sky faster then I thought he could and, to the audacity of most of us, shot off at speeds close to Rainbow Dash and disappeared... what the ever living fuck? I decided to make my thoughts known. "What the fuck?!" I yelled, "fucking coward!" I bellowed as his orange blur disappeared off into the horizon. I was about to scream some more profanities, but Celestia put a hoof on my shoulder.

"Let him go."

"Are you cereal right now?" I asked her, turning to face the princess. She couldn't be serious?!

She nodded, much to my disdain. "I believe you and Cadence when you both told me what happened, and I'm sure the bystanders can couch for you both. As of now, he is a criminal, and will be hunted down so do not worry yourself."

I could only sigh, shoulders slumping. "I should have punched him in the nutsack." I muttered, crossing my arms. I should have done something, but nope...

"Don't sweat it!" Sharp Sight said, her light form landing on my back as she looped her arms around my neck in a sort of hug, something Rainbow Dash did. "We'll find that prick! No biggie!"

The others nodded their heads, Breaking Dawn stepped forward with a stony expression. "if he tires anything against you or you marefriend, we'll stop him."

Major Black Heart and Lieutenant Gentle Breeze saluted. "We'll guard you."

I smiled and returned their salute. "Right on guys."

*CRACK BOOM*

That was a sound I knew well. I turned around at the sound, looking into the sky above, I could barely make out the mountains from here, but I could see the tale tale sign of Rainbow's Sonic Rainboom. The explosion was massive and took over the whole sky, what little clouds that remained in the skies were blown away by the blast as the rainboom took over. I could make out a very small speck heading towards the city, and I watched as it soared overhead with a thunderous boom and circled the castle twice before coming overhead once again and stopping, I was about to greet said sky colored blob when I inspected her a bit more closely, my eyes widened as she landed in front of us.

Rainbow smiled at me, whipping her mane back. "Sup Lee?"

I stared... "Wat?"

Could this day get any weirder?

Suddenly, my question was answered.

"Muahahahahaha!" Dark shadowy laughter sounded.

I facepalmed. "Taint nuggets."
