(Torian`s POV, 2 weeks later)

During the past 2 weeks, I have been doing very well, Ive been making money with Vinyl to buy more food and other essential needs, hanging out with my friends and going on a date with my dentist marefriend. But something I had predicted quite some time ago was about to come back and haunt me and having this nagging fear, Ive been using my Grandfather`s training to prepare. During this time, I was even able to fight in multiple enemy battles in case I was outnumbered.

During a fine day and autumn was closing in, I was outside forging for some berries to harvest and have a storage in case markets were closed and food was limited. We weren`t far from the Evefree Forest and we were also near a large lake that looked about a mile deep. I was even with Twilight, Minuette, Applejack, and Fluttershy who were helping me collect berries more efficiently like the Bessemer Process (A method developed by Bessemer to make steel at a more economical and efficient during the Gilded Age of the Industrial Revolution.)

"I can`t believe summer is almost over, its been going by quickly." Twilight said as she wiped her forehead.

"You said it, soon its gonna be Apple Buck Season and the entire eastern orchard needs to be harvested." Applejack agreed.

"Well, I still need to get some of my animals ready for hibernation." Fluttershy added.

"Alright, this should do it." I said as I loaded the last basket onto a cart Applejack loaned to me which carries 10 baskets filled with berries. But as I was about to pull, I felt something unnerving as if something was watching us. "Wait a moment we aren`t alone." I whispered as I moved my hand onto the sword and got ready.

"What is it? Whats going on?" Minuette said in a little panic.

Then coming from the Everfree Forest not too far away, 3 Timberwolves charged toward us almost at full speed. I unsheathed my sword and the others got ready for a fight but instead of going after my friends they just circled me and 2 more came out and tried to force my friends away.

My mind was racing until my prediction of this day came true, The battle-scared Alpha timber wolf arrived with the same scar across his face I set on him last time we fought.

"We meet once again." I said subtly as the Alpha growled and we began circling each other as the other 3 surrounding wolves just watched us.

I eyed him and awaited an opening until he jumped first. I slid to the left as he pounced as I grazed his right paw. Then I jumped up and tried to stab his head, but I believed he anticipated and quickly turned and swiped his claws causing me to hit the ground hard. With tears in my shirt and not a single wound except for the pain in my back, I took off the shirt and exposed my old wound to him as I gave the Alpha a glare.

The large wooden wolf growled as I charged once more as it tried to swipe me with its claws, luckily I blocked the attack and tried to use my strength to keep his claws at bay with my blade. I stared deep into his eyes with anger then I smirked as I quickly released from the block and flew over him to give him a good slice on his back. The wolf howled in pain as I landed behind him and ran away while decapitating the wolf in front of me. I headed to the the lake and I could see my friends running toward me and the Alpha. I was at the waters edge when I stopped and turned around.

The 2 other Timberwolves attacked me and I killed one by stabbing its heart and the other bit my right arm, causing me to drop my sword. I was bleeding, but not severely before grabbing his top and lower jaws and pushing them open further with all my strength before his mouth ripped open and the pile of wood dropped to the ground. The Alpha had caught up with me and tried to bite me before I dodged and casued it to trip near the water.

"Had enough yet, ya big toothpick!" I shouted getting into my fighting stance.

The wolf snarled at me and howled as I got my answer. "So be it then." I then ran full speed toward the wolf as it did the same with me. Then My friends show up after defeating the other 2 wolves to see me running at the Alpha.

"What in the hay is he doin?" Applejack asked in complete shock.

Then the Alpha opened its mouth and seeing my opportunity I hooped right inside and down its throat. I was navigated all the way into its stomach and I went to find it`s heart and seeing this weird beating wooden heart I ripped it out before breaking free of the wolf as I saw daylight again.

Crawling out the dying wolf I came by its head and gave him a victorious smile, My friends were happy I was alive, but more Timberwolves arrived to see the me kill their leader and the Alpha finally died.

'Im your Alpha now, Bow before me or be killed!" I ordered. as the Timberwolves knelled to me. "Dont attack this town and its inhabitants ever again and go stay deep within the woods far away, GO NOW!" I shouted as the Timberwolves ran away.

The ponies cheered and were glad they will never see those wooden puppies again.

"That was amazing!" Minuette said with happiness.

"That was so... assertive." Fluttershy added.

"Just happy to help you and I knew this day would come, An animal never forgets." I said before grabbing my sword. "Lets go home and get the berries if you please." I asked as we all headed back into Ponyville.
