(2 weeks after the Gala, Torian`s POV)

For the past 2 weeks, it has been hard to pass over the loss of family, I got over my parents and sisters deaths, but my brother was entirely different. I gave him a chance to change, but he went with the way of evil. Minuette was only knocked out, but I had a few bruises, a black eye, and a 3 inch cut on my back, which wasn`t serious, but still hurt like hell.

On a fine day as Winter drew ever so closely, I needed time to get my head in a familiar environment where I can finally get over my brother`s death and move on and what better environment then in the air and over the sea. I left a note on my door to let ponies know I would not be about for the day and opened my hanger door to reveal the F6F I held dearly.

"Alright beauty, lets fly." I said to myself as I hopped inside the cockpit, turned on the engine, closed the canopy, and taxied the plane onto the runway.

It didnt take long to speed down the pavement and lift off into the air and flew East to the Equestrian Sea which was about 50 miles away. I leveled off at 6000 ft and began to clear my mind of the stress Ive been through and all I need are my friends and Minuette to be happy. I smiled at all the fun and adventurous times we`ve spent until I had realized I was over the ocean which felt like 30 minuetes, which turned out to be an hour.

"Time flies when you zone out." I thought as I looked over the ocean and admired the blue water. But then something yellow appeared into my view like a small boat and appeared to have something in it and was waving. Then it clicked, another human had arrived in Equestria, but another question remained for it to be American or Japanese and if Japanese I will kill him. I dove in and slowed down so I don`t go too quick but just a speed for me to get a look at the occupant.

As I passed by, I couldnt believe my eyes, Jerry Vinstile, My naval buddy is in Equestria. As I turned and came in for another run I signalled him that I will be back soon and flew off back to my base and to Ponyville. During the flight home, all I was thinking about was my old sea friend I havent seen since the Morrison sank in Okinawa and when he climbed into the LT Boat.

When I returned to my airstrip, I saw all my friends and the Princesses at my door which was a surprise to me. Once I parked the aircraft and shut off the engine. I walked over to them and greeted them.

"Hello to you and are you feeling any better, darling?" Rarity asked.

"Yeah, because we haven`t seen you since we came back from the Gala." Rainbow included.

"You didn`t even talk to us when we returned and you only ran off." Applejack finished.

"Im sorry if I were rude to all of you, its just that, I killed my own brother during our confrontation and wasn`t feeling right also had to bandage my back wound and clear my mind." I answered with a sigh and with some regret showing and looked at Minuette. "But I do have to thank you Minuette, for saving my life."

Minuette blushed in embarrassment while recalling to the memory. "I-It was nothing, I had to save you, because I had to return the favor." She said with modesty.

"But, I have something incredible to tell you, My naval friend, Jerry Vinstile is here in Equestria!" The ponies looked surprised that another human is in Equestria and he is my old war buddy.

"Where is he now?" Celestia asked.

"He`s stranded in a liferaft in the Equestrian sea almost 50 miles from the shore and I need a boat to rescue him." I replied.

"Don`t worry everypony!" Pinkie said with glee. "I know a pony who can let s borrow a boat." And she zipped off faster than a torpedo. I was about to question it, but decided not to and began to think about seeing my friend again, but I wondered how he ended up here in the first place. Then Luna came up to me.

"You never once mentioned you had this 'Jerry' as a friend, mind if you told us about him?" I never talked about Jerry for reasons unknown, yet I still think about him every once and a while, but I guess now is a good a time as any to talk about him.

"Where do I begin, He`s been more like a brother to me, Dependable, Kind, a real marksmen when it came to combat and helped me from time to time." I began as my friends crowded to hear what Jerry is like to me. "We started of in Naval Training together, He and I helped each other in every challenge thrown at us and because of that is how he and I had the highest rank in our class. We were both assigned to the Morrison and both did our duties. Every time a General Quarters alarm sounded we were ready to take on the challenge together, until I arrived here at least."

My friends took a deep understanding of how close we were and Pinkie arrived hauling a sailboat that looked to weigh about 3 tons and she was carrying it like it`s an empty cart. "How strong is this mare" I thought.

"Alright, I got the boat, now let the search party begin!" Pinkie shouted excitedly.

"Well then, lets save your friend, Torian." Twilight praised. She then pulled out a map and pointed at the nearby river that lead into the Equestrian Sea and we can use the boat to sail us there.

I still couldnt believe it, my friend I considered family was in Equestria. But time was at the essences, I dont know how long he has been in the raft so we had to get to him as quick as possible. As Pinkie slid the sailboat into the water, we all climbed aboard, set the sails, and I manned the rudder and we began to sail down the river.

Hello ponies and bronies, Golden here and man oh man is this a great feeling to have, when a friend youve known for so long ends up in a place you do after not seeing each other in a long time, but how did he get there and how much have things changed? Youll have to read yo find out.
