(Equestrian Sea, Torian`s POV)

After a day of sailing through the river and into the ocean, We had finally arrived to where I believed I found the life raft with my old war buddy, Jerry Vinstile. The sailboat Pinkie borrowed was very roomy in the cabin below deck while I maintained the duty of sailing, even in the night. Even though the Japanese mastered this skill earlier in the war, American sailors including myself were taught as well.

It was early in the morning as Celestias sun began to rise over the horizon, I looked over the sea to spot the liferaft in the vast empty ocean. Finally, at a distance away, the liferaft was sighted on the starboard bow almost 3 miles away and it seemed as if Jerry was asleep, or so I think hoping he wasnt dead.

But I went down to the cabin below and rung the bell inside waking everypony. "Good morning everypony, Id like to let you know of two things, One, Ive spotted the liferaft containing Jerry." The ponies cheered at the news before calming down to allow me to finish. "Two, I need you all to stay in the hold for a while after I get Jerry."

"Why is that?" Twilight asked confused.

"Because I dont know how hell react to talking ponies and seeing mythological creatures and make sure he settles in with it well." I explain.

"We understand, We`ll give you all the time you require." Luna agreed and soon the others followed. I simply nodded and went back to the helm and began to maneuver the boat to the liferaft and slow down to a stop when I got close to it.

Getting close to the raft, I saw the condition of the raft and it seemed to have been out for about 2 days and it was obviously been through some-sort of typhoon due to the tears in some places. Looking inside the raft, Jerry`s body came to view, and now that the boat was at a full stop, I lowered a ladder into the raft and got inside.

I shook Jerry to see if he was asleep, then checked his pulse and thank god he wasn`t dead yet. I tried waking him again and it seemed as if one look he sprung himself into a bone-crushing embrace.

"Torian, great to see you again, my friend!"

"Great to see you too, Jerry" I replied as we let go of our embrace. "How was the war treating you?" I asked

"Bro, the War`s over? Where were you after Okinawa?" Jerry asked confused.

"Well Jerry there is something I need to talk to you about and that is... Its that we arent in the Pacific anymore." I said unsure how he`ll react. This was really difficult to explain, but I hope he would at least trust me and he could easily trust my friends.

"What did I end up in another ocean or something?" Jerry asked.

"No, Well yes, but we aren`t exactly on Earth anymore, but more like Equestria." I tried to explain to him.

"I can`t recall hearing that place before, you better not be joking with me." Jerry said becoming frustrated.

"No Jerry, I`m serious as a heart attack, but there is something about this place that is simply amazing, the creatures are as intelligent as we are, and not human too, more like mythological creatures we never thought existed." I explained but Jerry was unamused and I saw this right away. "If you want proof, its on this boat, follow me." I climbed out the raft with Jerry behind me as we came onto the deck.

"Alright, you can come out." I called out and my friends and marefriend began to come out onto the deck and Jerry seemed to have been blown away.

"I-I-I What in the name of Christ?" Was all Jerry could muster. When I first met these ponies, I didn`t know what to think other than them being part of the Japanese to gain American intel.

"Jerry these are the ponies I call my friends." I started.

"I`m Twilight Sparkle, you must be Jerry correct?" Twilight chimed in with her cheery voice.

Jerry seemed to have calmed down and couldn`t believe what he was seeing and hearing ponies talking, pegasi flying, unicorns and alicorns for the first time. Finally he was able to reply to Twilight. "Yes, that would be me."

"Excellent, This is Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Minuette." Twilight pointed to her friends as called while they greeted the new human. "I`m also Princess Celestia and my little sister Luna, co-rulers of Equestria." Celestia added as Jerry tipped his hat.

"Pleasure to meet you all and I hope we can become great friends." Jerry smiled as the ponies cheered for their new friend. With the help of Celestia, we compacted Jerry`s raft to fit into the cabin while, I set a course for home. Jerry and my friends seemed to be getting along well as my dentist marefriend came to me.

"I`m glad to have met your friend, he seems nice."

"Yeah, but I want to know how the war ended and how he came here." I said with curiosity in my head.

"Im sure youll find out, but for now how about we head home and probably..." I cut her off there before the converstion took a new direction.

"Whoa there Minuette, I love you too, but at least keep it down to where it doesn`t become public news."

She giggles at this and understands as I gave her a passion filled kiss which always leaves her blushing which I still found cute as we sailed home to Equestria with my war buddy, Jerry.

Author's Note

Hello ponies and bronies, Golden here and there we have Jerry has met them, but how did the war end or how did he even arrive in Equestria in the first place? Read on to the future to find out.

Secondly, I wish to inform people that I may need a break from the story for a while, I`m not abandoning it, It will be on hold for a while after the next chapter, so I hope you enjoy this surprise chapter.
