(Golden Oaks Library, Ponyville, Torian`s POV)

After another day of sailing, We`d finally arrived back into the magical world of Equestria with Jerry Vinstire. After Pinkie Pie returned the sailboat, We all headed down to the Library to talk about how Jerry ended up in Equestria and how were things back on Earth after my disappearance. So many questions flooded into my head that I wanted to know everything and it seems as I will as we all gathered around.

"Well Jerry, What have I missed since I was gone?" I asked as Jerry began to explain.

"Well, After the Morrison sunk in Okinawa and I was rescued, I didnt see you surface and thought you died. After the battle ended, I was reassigned to the USS South Dakota and continued to see relentless fighting on Okinawa til the end of April. But it was sad to say that President Roosevelt didnt live to see that day nor in the European theater."

"Wait, who is this President Roosevelt?" Luna asked.

"President Franklin Delano Roosevelt was our leader who received 4 terms of President, two more than any president should, He also helped us out of the Great Depression." I replied remembering how he was a great American President.

"But, you said he didn`t live to see the victories, did he die in combat?" Rainbow chipped in.

"No, he was in a building called The White House, which isnt a small house painted white and our nations headquarters. He also died of a stroke while he was getting his portrait painted." Jerry answered.

"So, what happened then?" Twilight asked eager to hear the tale.

"After Roosevelt`s death, His Vice President Harry S. Truman took over and helped put a project I never knew, building Hydrogen Bombs that can destroy a village this size in a matter of seconds." The ponies gasped at this and never knew that we were extremely advanced to build a bomb with that kind of power. "In August, 2 months after Okinawa was taken, the first bomb was dropped on the Japanese city of Hiroshima and killed more than 146,000 people and 3 days later, another bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, killing more than 80,000 people in an instant. Afterwards the Japanese finally surrenders and the Americans won the Pacific war, I even brought this newspaper with me."

As the newspaper was passed around, I didnt know what to think, About 200,000 Japanese souls were lost in those 2 bombs combined, but it wasnt as bad as the Holocaust in Europe so I was at least happy that the war was finally over.

"Why did they hit those two cities?" Celestia asked.

"We wanted to show Japan we have the power to end the war quickly and we sure showed them, After the treaty was signed a law passed saying the prohibition of building weapons of mass destruction." Jerry replied bringing a sigh to know that humans wouldn`t build another hydrogen bomb.

"So how did you end up here, darling?" Rarity wondered.

"Well, I was on an LT unit heading back to Hawaii so I can head home, but I was caught in a typhoon and the LT Boat sank killing everyone but me. I survived by inflating the life raft Torian found me in and slept through the storm in hopes it would pass. Then I was awoken by an engine sound and saw it was Torian." Jerry explained.

"That is really baffling, it must have sounded like you went through some kind of wormhole or something." I hypothesized.

"Quite possibly, but it is awesome to see you again, Golden, but what now, I don`t have a home to go to, nor anybody to see on that matter." Jerry said as Rarity immediately stepped in.

"I can also make you some more suitable garments."

"And we`d be happy to lend you enough bits to cover the expenses of your new living quarters." Luna finished.

"That`s really cool of you, Thank you, you are all really good friends." Jerry said as we all came in for a group hug.

Then Minuette motioned me to follow her. "Excuse me, but it seems as if I have some maintenance on my aircraft to work on, so I`ll catch you all later."

I left as all my friends waved and saw Minuette standing patiently waiting for me. "So what`s up?"

"Since we found your friend and you seem to be in much higher spirits, I was wondering if you would like to go out for another date, I mean its been a while since our last night together and it seemed-" I cut her off there with a firm a kiss that seemed to make her melt in happiness.

"Minuette, I`m more than happy to go on a date with you, your always going to be my little dentist no matter what happens." I stared at her in her blue eyes pouring out my love toward her and she blushed deeply. "So whens the date?"

"Tomorrow at the lake." She said while still blushing after what I said.

"Alright, see you tomorrow." I then headed home to get some rest.

(Meanwhile at the Crystal Empire)

King Sombra looks over the Empire with a devious grin as an army arises behind him, an army of Changelings.

"Finally, I can take over once more and with my new army, it shall fall easily and I`ll finally end that retched human, who killed my apprentice."

"My King, the army is ready at your signal, that shield won`t last long if we hit it hard." The General Changeling informs him.

"Attack at will and subdue all guards and the Prince and Princess that rule here." Sombra said as the General begins the assault of the Crystal Empire.

Hey ponies and bronies Golden here and man is this one a fun one to write, but in all seriousness I`m going to leak this one thing for you all that will take hold for the future chapter.
