(Detroit, Michigan, 1908)

After explaining the Reconstruction Era and entering the 20th century, We looked at the advancing technological machines that seem to become a huge hit for business, in this case a very well-known car.

"What is this place?" Minuette asked looking at the car parts and workers.

"And who is that?" Lyra pointed at the man who would make history; Henry Ford.

"That is Henry Ford and this is one of his companys many assembly factories in the U.S." I answered and then pointed over at the production line. "Now here, Ford is going to make a small but effective change where the products come to the workers known as an assembly line. Although he didnt invent it, but he did perfect it and in a few years, he will have made over 15 million Model Ts." I explained.

"He made that many, they must have been quite popular." Luna pointed out and she was correct actually.

"Yes, because of the car`s price, because no matter what class you were in America, Henry made these cars affordable to all." I then entered the watch for another date and we teleported to Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. In a field, the fathers of flight themselves, Wilbur and Orville Wright.

"what is that thing?" Vinyl asked.

"That is the Wright Brother`s aircraft, the first aircraft to be correct." I answered as Wilbur took off and flew over the North Carolinian field.

"So, after this plane, everyone wanted one like it?" Celestia pondered.

"Not exactly, it took some more encouragement for planes to become popular and I know who can show us." I then typed in a new date and we all went to New York on an airstrip to see Charles Lindbergh and his planes 'The Spirit of St. Louise'.

"This man here is going to make history as he will become the first man to fly across the Atlantic Ocean by himself." I explained as Charles started up his plane.

"So how long does it take him?" Rarity asked.

"It took him about 33 and a half hours which was a day and a couple hours." I answered as the ponies were stunned at that record but Rainbow wasn`t impressed.

"Please, I bet I could fly over an ocean in 10 seconds flat."

"You sure about that, because there are icy cold winds that can blow at almost 10 miles an hour, storms you may encounter, and other rough elements." I cautioned her, she seemed to have taken them into consideration and didn`t say anything, so I decided to time skip some more and we entered the age of the 1st World War.

(Austria-Hungary, 1914)

As we arrived, there was a castle surrounded by citizens awaiting to see their prince and princess arrive through the doors. The ponies felt saw the celebration and were delighted by this.

"So where are we?" Lyra asked.

"We are not in America for once, but in a European nation called Austria-Hungary, where we are about to witness one of the most darkest acts in history." I said as we all looked at the Duke and Dutchess and awaiting the event to kick off the chain reaction.

"Who is that, a prince?" Twilight questioned with a smile.

"That man is Archduke Ferdinand, heir to the Austrian throne, but at any moment something will happen." I said with remorse as the shrilling sound of 2 gunshots were fired and screams filled the air. I looked at the ponies and I could see the sadness in their eyes. "This is the act of war from Serbia and with it, Austria-Hungary declared war on them. With the alliance treaty in effect, multiple countries helped out their allies and becomes the First World War." I said as I began to transport us all to the U.S, where President Woodrow Wilson made a clear statement on what the U.S will do while Europe is at war.

"So does the U.S help out in the war?" Luna asked.

" Yes and no, because we didn`t want anything to do with war, but we had to help England and France because of our alliance." I answered as I sped up and over the 2 years Germany began to use submarine warfare, England started a blockade, and Trench warfare began in France.

(Atlantic Ocean, Off the Irish Coast, May,7,1917)

"So why are we over an ocean?" Vinyl asked looking around.

"Here is where one of the biggest acts of war occurs and brings the U.S closer to entering the war just look over there." I pointed over to a ship with 4 black funnels and steaming toward Ireland. "That is the Cunard liner, RMS Lusitania."

"So what does this ship have to do with-" I cut Luna off before she could ask.

"Just watch and do you see the submarine over there?" I pointed over at the U-Boat. "That is a German U-Boat."

The U-Boat then launches a torpedo at the ship and within a few anxious minutes, A large explosion erupts on the ship as the ponies saw many men women and children desperately try to get the lifeboats lowered and launched. But as each minute passes, the ship lists more and the bow gets submerged as 15 minutes pass and the ship slips beneath the waves dragging more than 1,997 passengers, including 100 children and 128 Americans.

"It only took 15 minutes for a large liner to sink?" Twilight asked in pure horror.

"Im afraid so, but the explosion was caused by the ammunition the Lusitania was secretly carrying in hopes to help the allies. After President Wilson heard about this, He threatened to enter the war if Germany did not stop sinking oceans liners without a warning or offering assistance to the survivors." I explained but they were still sad to see all the people in the water struggling to survive. I decided to show them another push to Americas entry in the war.

In the U.S communication center where all telegraphs were sent or received from across the globe. One message would enrage Americans and thrust us closer to war.

"So what`s going on in this place?" Rarity asked looking around the room.

"Here is another event that enraged Americans we like to call 'The Zimmerman Telegraph'." I pick up the look at the telegram and read it aloud.

"We intend to begin on the first of February unrestricted submarine warfare. We shall endeavor in spite to keep the United States of America neutral. In the event of this not succeeding, we make Mexico a proposal of alliance on the following basis: make war together, make peace together, generous financial support and an understanding of our part that Mexico is to reconquer the lost territory of Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. The settlement in detail is left to you. You will inform the President of above most secretly as soon as the outbreak of war with the United States of America is certain and to add the suggestion that he should, on his own initiative, invade Japan to immediate adherence and at the same time mediate Japan between ourselves. Please call the President`s attention to the fact that ruthless employment of our submarines now offers the prospect of compelling England in a few months to make peace."

"So Germany was trying to make an alliance to Mexico to regain loss territory if Mexico helped them?" Vinyl tried to summarize.

"Exactly, but Mexico declined and this only made the neutral nation want to be in the war, but one more event pushed us over." I said as we then teleported to the Atlantic in time for another infamous attack, The French ferry SS Sussex.

"That ferry will be the last set of cards to cause the house to come crashing down." I emphasized as the ponies looked on the ferry and saw a torpedo heading for the ship. In a violent explosion, the ship`s bow was ripped apart in the blast and some lifeboats were destroyed. Passengers and crew tried to launch the boats, but some capsized and people drowned.

The ship`s stern remained afloat and was towed away stern first to port. The ponies seemed upset that Germany would attack an innocent ferry even I was mad at them for causing such strife to the families that may have lost a relative.

"Out of the 53 crew and 325 passengers aboard, about 50 or more were killed and after that Wilson asked Congress to declare war on Germany." I said as we then began talking about the invention of tanks to break the trench warfare stalemate and the wars end with Germany paying the damages of World War 1, limiting its army, and taking away some of their land to make Poland.

Hello ponies and bronies, Golden here and the next chapter will be the last of the segment and well kick things back off in Equestria and they will not industrialize after seeing the effects of Americas industrialization.

With Thanksgiving closing in and also Black Friday, Im beginning to start looking for work so I can raise some money for the holidays so I may be late on some uploads but, Ill see what I can do.
