Trixie looses her memories of a year's worth of a relationship with Twilight, under mysterious causes in a very peculiar setting: Equestria is suffering it's coldest temperature drop ever recorded.

With the taste of Trixie's defeat, after the conflict with the Alicorn Amulet, still sour in her mind: she wants nothing to do with Twilight Sparkle. However, a greater force of an Resistant Movement targets Trixie's head, believing she only gotten together with Twilight for political reasons. A mob, if you will, if Trixie was ever to break Twilight's heart. So Trixie is left with the choice of pretending to be Twilight's lover in exchange for her freedom, or leave it all behind with the rage of goddesses following her where-ever she goes?

A greater force, the Author of Fates, moves in to reveal the full story of the year behind Trixie, working with the dazed mare to find out why Trixie looses her memory instead of what Trixie's missing.
