Love vs. Madness

Scientific Method awoke to be face to face with Fluttershy, her face full of concern. After he fainted Fluttershy rush to his side to make sure he was OK, which he was. Scientific slowly stood up with the help of Fluttershy, and he looked around.

"Who are you people and why or how are you in my house," Scientific Method asked harshly

"Well its you welcome party, silly," Pinkie says hoping to him, " Remember i told you there would be one before you went to see the mayor."

"Oh yeah I remember," Scientific said while thinking back, " But who are you people?"

"I'm Rainbow Dash, the Fastest flier in all of Equestria," Rainbow said with flair.

"Well, howdy I'm Applejack," Applejack said, " I run Sweet Apple Acres with my family, i reckon you will be meeting them soon."

"Um... Hi... I'm Fluttershy... i take care of animals who need... um... help, " Fluttershy said quietly almost a whisper by the end.

"Hey, I'm Spike," Spike blurted out, " I'm a baby dragon and i help Twilight as her assistant." Up next is Twilight Sparkle, but all she does when she speaks is stutter and giggle. Her face gets redder and redder until she is so embarrassed that she runs home to the library.

"Whats with her," Scientific Method asks, " Is it something i did?"

"I don't think so sugercube," Applejack said with a sigh, "Come on girls lets check on her." With that the ponies and spike all left Scientific Method's home and went to check on Twilight. After they were all gone he closed the door locked it, he walked to his bedroom, but grabbed a piece of cake on the way, ate it, then snuggled into his bed and went off to sleep. Just as he enters dream land he is stopped by somepony or something gnawing on his foreleg, it didn't hurt because it had no teeth. he lifted his foreleg and lit up his horn to find a alligator with no teeth chewing on him. He screams and jumps up out of bed, just then Pinkie walks in and grabbed her pet alligator.

"No, bad gummy," Pinkie said, " Sorry Sci." Pinkie left and Scientific laid back down and started to sleep, but he remembered he locked his door, how did Pinkie get in here thought, but the burden of the day got to him and he fell asleep like that.

The gang left Scientific Method's house and went after Twilight, they decided that she probably went to the library. They arrived at the library, but they hesitated to knock on the door. They all looked at each other like they were trying to figure out who should do it. Finally Rainbow Dash spoke up,

"I'll do it ya scaredy ponies, eh.. but I'm not the one to talking to her.."

"Oh, i can do that," Fluttershy spoke up, "I'm good at talking to things that aren't feeling well." So Rainbow Dash knocked on the door, to find it just push open. Rainbow Dash pushed the door open all the way to be greeted by soft sobbing coming from the bed room. She quickly flew behind Fluttershy and pushed her into the tree. The rest of them followed, but stayed in the main room. Fluttershy move up the stairs quietly.

"Twilight... um can i come in," Fluttershy asked while knocking, this was answered by a mumble, "Ok." Fluttershy opened the door and walked into the room, after a minute or so later the sobs stopped and Fluttershy and Twilight walked down to meet the other ponies.

"Whats wrong sugercube," Applejack asked.

"Yes, darling what is it that has you riled up," Rarity said while putting a hoof around Twilight.

"Hey, that is just what i asked Rarity," Applejack exclaimed. Rarity just stuck her tongue out at Applejack. They both growled at each other,

"GIRLS!" Fluttershy yelled with a very angry look on her face, " We have to help Twilight, now stop fighting!" Everyone was shocked to see Fluttershy so upset, and they all listened.

"Did that unicorn do anything to you," Rainbow Dash growled, "Cause if he did I'll beat his Canterlot as-"

"No, Rainbow Dash, he didn't... or well not on purpose," Twilight said softly, "It's just that i think I'm in love and i didn't know how to react so i broke down, my books never explains that sort of thing very well."

"Well Darling, books can't teach you everything," Rarity said while hugging her friend, " I guess we all over reacted, now lets get some rest we can talk about this tomorrow." all the ponies left the Library, Pinkie drops off Spike in his bed then leaves. Twilight just sits on her bed thinking about him....
