Previous ChapterNext ChapterPrince Blueblood stretched out his snout and smelled the incredible aroma of clean air in Sweet Apple Acres. He eyed a mahogany tree with it's incredible branches that held the beautiful and delicious looking red apples. His stomach hungrily rumbled at the sight of such ripe delicacy. He touched the corse and rough surface of the strong apple tree and gently caressed the bark with a careful hoof. Blueblood excitedly smiled at the rare sensation. A strong wave of wind assaulted him and he felt the cool breeze relax him and his hungry temperament.
Prince Blueblood backed away from his chosen wood to look upon the substantial amount of apple trees that graced Sweet Apple Acre's land. The massive land of apples, breached all the way to The Everfree Forest, barely leaving space for air between. He glanced at such a sight, the length of the farm seemed ever endless that only a god or a massive monster could be able to eat all the apples. He giggled at the thought of her aunt engorging herself on the buffet of Apples, but, fun aside, he surmised that she probably could eat all of them if she wanted to. Prince Blueblood held on to his whining stomach, it rumbled fiercely a sound akin to a purring lion.
Blueblood's ears ringed with the heavy screech of the hinges of a rusty door. He looked upon the origin of the sound to find his voracious eyes staring at the essence of beauty itself. A coat so deliciously green and vibrant with life, her brilliant orange eyes masked with the lie of old age. Her hindquarters placed a delicious and decadent looking apple pie that almost looked like it smoked with heat. Her elegantly pulled back white mane and tail expertly tied up for convenience. Her sagging eyes and line infested mouth, with her rickety bones and weak legs and silver cane that looked cold to the touch.
The Prince was devastated by such entrancing and endearing beauty from such a pony so aged to perfection. She was the paragon of old mare's everywhere. He could only stare tranced by her very existence, his eyes were widely agape with astonishment. Imagined light perpetuated her very aura as she slowly trotted up to the inspired stallion. Her shining ball of godlike light neared him and Prince Blueblood felt a healing surge of adrenaline envelope his entire body.
Muffled sound generated from her perfect mouth for The Prince was in incredible awe.
"Mmeh, Mmeh, Mmeh Mmeh Mmeh Mmeh?", The Prince was stuck in dumbfounded realization of incredibility that he stared motionless as if turned to stone by the feared, mythical gorgon herself. A stinging pain smeared his neurons all across his tranced face. He regained his conscience and found a very angry, granny mare waiting impatiently for his reply. Prince Blueblood was held back by her strike and caressed his injured face as if struck by a luminous angel. He straightened up and met with Granny Smith, face-to-face.
"Wiel? Young'in what business ya have here and why were ya lookin all funny like dat?", Granny Smith awaited patiently with anger struck in her mental cord. Prince Blueblood shook his head like a salt shaker to awaken himself from his dreamlike stupor.
""ahem", heh, heh, sorry about that I was just... dreaming of something... apples, heh, sorry...", nervousness was evident in The Prince as he scratched his head from embarrassment. Granny Smith's patience had just ran out.
"What do you wan't!? Are ya here to steal somma my apples!?", Well den I assure dere will be no quarter for ya if ya do!", Granny Smith's aggression was evident, her metal cane was lifted up in a position to bludgeon. Prince Blueblood fell on his spine and dragged himself back with the full-force of his back hoofs. Granny stalked her cowardly enemy until he crashed in to a strong apple tree.
"Wait, You don't understand! I came here just for some party supplies!", Granny raised her cane high above spelling death for her little trespasser. The Prince shut his eyes whilst gritting his bared teeth tightly in feared anticipation. Granny slammed the metal cane on to the ground purposely missing the frightened, full-grown stallion before her. Prince Blueblood hesitantly raised a eyelid to see. Granny Smith's eyes were tense with impatience as she balanced herself on her metal cane. Prince Blueblood arose clumsily, dragging his hoofs on the tree he hugged against for protection. He stood up, placing his hoofs on to the grass once more.
