I am a spirit; some called me a protector and others called me a destructor. I was in charge of protecting Termina long ago. A spirit of evil, called Majora, haunted Termina. Wherever there is Good and Evil, soon both will clash. And so it was. The bitter battles we fought for control of Termina brought it to the brink of destruction, and the four creators of Termina, fearing for the inhabitants' lives, sealed us in masks and sent us far from each other. Centuries passed and I was all but forgotten, and so was Majora; both of us, our battles, our names… all faded into obscurity and myth. Then, a young hero by the name of Link came along. He gave all his masks away, a bold and daring move which somehow earned Majora's sympathy. Through the Mask, I restored myself and my powers. Majora was defeated, and I assured Termina's safety once more. However, Majora swore revenge, and I felt him flee to somewhere else. I knew that I had to stop him, and it seemed I'd never get the chance… until now.
