A Fierce Affair
Chapter 1: Return of Majora
Previous ChapterNext ChapterHow wonderful, defeated again by my cursed rival, the Fierce Deity. He always was ruining my plans, like a bothersome parent always coming in and checking on their child, making sure you it doesn't cause trouble. I hate that Deity. Regardless, my plans for Termina were out of the window and a complete wash, like a sand message written on the beach of Great Bay. However, I still had enough power to leave that pitiful land, and since I was free of the mask, I was free to go somewhere else, wherever I chose. Using the, 'who cares take me anywhere' method, I soon arrived in another land, a strange land; one that was simply oozing with magic power that I could draw upon and use. I used the ambient magic to fashion a mask just like the one I had been once imprisoned in and flew around, inspecting the new land I was to destroy, drawing more magic as I went, quickly beginning to regain the strength I had lost. The inhabitants made me laugh, for they were ponies, of all styles sizes and colors, but most were just as a bit taller than the Skull Kid I had once possessed. However, they all possessed a fundamental and very basic understanding of using magic, which made me even more excited. "If I could just find one more capable wielder of magic and one less weak... Yeeeeeeeees... I think I can restart," I thought to myself. There were few to choose from. One pony I found was called Trixie, and she seemed like a potential candidate, until i discovered that she actually was very poor at using magic, and her weakness were far too many... no, she could not be the one. There was another, a Princess Celestia, who was a ruler of the land and had great magical prowess and was fairly strong, but she lacked the same characteristics of me, she would be too difficult to control. But then... there was her younger sister, Princess Luna. She was younger, just as strong and I also sensed she had a root of evil in her heart, one that hadn't been drowned in the sickening floods of magic of love, caring, and friendship. It was her I chose to by my host, and she would serve nicely...
Meanwhile, in Termina...

It was done. Majora had been defeated, and Termina was saved. Tatl and I had parted ways, and I was riding off to find my way back to Hyrule. I thought my journey was done, and that it was time to head back to Hyrule. I remembered that I had entered Termina through a strange passage that had led to the Clock Tower, so that was my destination. "Hiyah!" I yelled as I prompted Epona to go faster.
I rode for the Clock Tower and entered Clock Town through the South Gate. I burst into the tower riding Epona, and, to my surprise, the Happy Mask Salesman was there. I dismounted and looked at him curiously.
He let out his trademark creepy chuckle and said with a disturbing grin, "I knew you could do it! You believed in your strengths, and you have gotten my mask back. And, my... you sure managed to make a great deal of people happy," said the Happy Mask Salesman. However, his grin suddenly changed to a frown and he said, "But something is wrong: even though you have done what you set fourth to do, I sense that you have one more adventure ahead of you. Go, and begin your new adventure."
As soon as I turned back to where he was, he and Epona were gone. I was concerned about Epona's safety, but when I heard a loud grinding noise, I quickly rushed to the source and found the large stone door that had blocked my path to Hyrule had been opened. I hesitated for a moment, but then, I went it. However, something familiar happened: I fell down a seemingly bottomless pit. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" I yelled. "Not again!" I thought.
Meanwhile, In the Canterlot Palace Gardens...

I was very excited as I put myself down just a few feet from where she was walking. Suddenly, I heard footsteps. I then saw a large blue pony walk up to me. Yes, everything was going according to plan... First, I'd slowly gain her trust, get underneath her guard and then, when the time was right, I would convince her to don me and my restoration would be complete and I could carry out my real intention: destroying this land like Termina! I was very satisfied, for I knew that no one could lay a hoof or finger on me, even her older sister couldn't stop me, I was more powerful the both of them combined and anything else in this land.

Now this was strange, a mask was lying right in the middle of a path in the Palace Gardens. "How did this get here?" I asked myself. Suddenly, I felt a strong urge to pick it up, so I picked up the mask and then got an idea to try it on. I did, and it was a perfect fit! I then took it off and became very suspicious. Something wasn't right, this was no ordinary mask... I had put it on with out any car or prudence at all, but I became confused and didn't really know what to do. I decided that I would put it in the Royal Vault so that nopony else could get their hooves on it. However, I felt something starting to grow in m, something that I hoped had been erased from my heart: my hate of ponies for not loving me and my moon.
"I can help you," said a strange and powerful voice in my head.
I yelped and dropped the mask.
"My name is Majora, and I can help you with your problem..." said the voice again, which sounded like it was coming from the mask.
"You... can?" I asked suspiciously.
"Yes, put me on and I will take care of aaaaaaaaaaaaaaall your problems..." said the mask.
