How I Lived In Equestria
Chapter 3-5: A Meet with the Princesses
Previous ChapterNext ChapterShadow laid awake as the sun peaked over the horizon, its bright rays cutting through the morning gray and stinging his eyes. He groaned, blinking and rubbing his eyes against the light, looking over to his wife, who was still sound asleep. As he got up, he quickly pecked her cheek before making his way down to the kitchen, making himself breakfast while becoming clouded in thought..
He sat munching toast when a sudden crashing sound snapped him out of his reverie. He turned around to find Spike laying on the floor surrounded by broken glass.
“You just had to break the goddamn window...” Shadow lamented. “Now I gotta have that fixed... Why did you come through the window and not the door anyways?”
“Well… You see—” Spike began to say before being interrupted.
“Nevermind, I don’t care.” Shadow interrupted bluntly.
“Hmph.” Spike crossed his arms. “Whatever… Why do you look like you haven’t slept in days?”
“It’s cause I haven’t.” Shadow monotoned, taking another bite of his toast.
“Oh.” Spike blinked. “Why?”
“Doesn’t matter why.” Shadow shook his head. “What does matter is something I need you to do…”
“Uh… Sure…” Spike nodded slowly. “What do you need?”
“I need you go get Fluttershy for me. I need her to take care of Twi for me while I’m gone.” Shadow explained.
“Where are you heading?”
“Canterlot?” Jorge raised an eyebrow. “The hell you going there for?”
“And possibly the Crystal Kingdom...” Shadow added.
“Again. The hell you going there for?” Jorge deadpanned.
“Where?” Shadow asked, “Canterlot or the Crystal Kingdom?”
“Both.”
“I need to talk to the Princesses.”
“And you’re telling me this… why?” Jorge asked.
“In case Twilight comes here looking for me.”
Jorge shrugged. “Alright… Have fun, I guess?”
“I’ll come see you when I get back.” Shadow noted. “Although..while I’m there..want me to pick you up any Celestial Bananas?”
“Sure.” Jorge nodded. “I’ll be sure to stab you with all the ones you bring.”
“...Nevermind, then…”
As the train arrived at the Canterlot train station, Shadow calmly made his way out, making his way to the castle. Passing by multiple buildings, houses, shops, until he’d finally made it.
He walked up to the castle doors, noticing the two guards standing in front of them. He simply ignored them, reaching his hoof towards the door.
“HALT!” One of the guards shouted.
“THE CASTLE IS NOT ACCEPTING VISITORS AT THIS TIME!” The other guard shouted.
“I’m not a vis—”
“PLEASE COME BACK AT A LATER TIME!” They both shouted in unison.
“I’m a prince, you dumbasses…” Shadow groaned. “Remember? Princess Twilight’s wedding? Remember the faggot she married? I’m that faggo— I… didn’t word that correctly…”
The guards looked at each other, then looked at Shadow, immediately recognizing him now that they thought back to what he mentioned.
“Apologies, Prince Shadow.” One of the guards spoke.
“It’s been awhile since you’ve been in Canterlot, we’ve nearly forgotten.” The other guard spoke.
As if on cue, they both opened the door behind them with their magic, moving out of the way as they bowed their heads slightly. “Enjoy your visit.” They both said in unison.
“That’s… gonna take some getting used to…” Shadow thought to himself, slowly walking into the castle.
He began to wander around the halls, moving from room to room as he continued his leisurely walk around the castle. If he would’ve known any better, he would’ve said he was lost.
If he hadn’t accidentally found the throne room…
“Shadow?” He heard a voice speak off in the distance.
He looked towards the source of the voice, finding Celestia sitting upon her throne. “Oh… Guess I’m not lost anymore…”
“What brings you here?” Celestia raised an eyebrow.
“Oh, uh. I wanted to ask you something.”
“Oh?”
Shadow walked up to her throne, clearing his throat as he prepared to speak.
“So, Twilight’s pregnancy is starting to become out of hoof for me to handle. Her mood swings range from being pissed as fuck, to clingy at the rarest occasion. So, I was wondering… Could I have ma—”
“No.”
Shadow blinked, not expecting to have been completely interrupted in such a rude fashion. “But you didn’t let me finish my—”
“No.”
“Why no—”
“No!”
“Why won’t you let me have magic?” Shadow stomped his hoof on the ground.
“You got yourself into this mess without magic. Now you’ll deal with it without magic as well.” Celestia bluntly explained.
“You’re seriously gonna let me deal with—”
“Yep.” Celestia nodded.
“It’s not even my fault! If anything, Twilight planned the whole thing without me!”
“Did you use magic to conceive the foal?”
“No…”
“Then you won’t use magic to help you with the pregnancy.”
“But—”
“End of Discussion.” Celestia bluntly stated.
“Bu—”
“End. Of. Discussion!”
Shadow groaned softly, tapping impatiently on the ground. “Fine. When’s your sister getting up?”
“In a few hours, why do you as—”
“‘Kay, thanks, bye!” Shadow was already halfway through the door, walking away from the room entirely.
“...I will never understand why Twilight married him…”
“I heard that!”
Shadow rolled his eyes, upset over Celestia’s refusal to give him magic. He would ask Luna, but he’d probably get the same result, so he decided he wouldn’t. However, he still had to talk to her regardless. It was the only way he would find out why his dreams have been troubling him so.
He soon somehow found himself in front of Luna’s chamber doors, which were guarded by another pair of guards. He raised an eyebrow, wondering what they were doing there in the first place.
He walked up to the door, hoping the guards would simply let him on his way through the door. But, to his dismay, they both reached their hooves out, blocking Shadow from the door.
“And what do you think you’re doing?” One of the guards asked.
“If you think I’m a visitor, I’m not…” Shadow groaned. “...Well, kinda. I’m a prince, though!”
The guards looked at each other, their eyebrows raised, then back to Shadow. “And?” They both asked in unison.
“Fuck. I was hoping that would shut them up…” Shadow thought to himself, clearing his throat softly. “So… can’t you just move out of the way and let me in?”
“This is Princess Luna’s chamber, what business do you have in there?” One of the guards inquired.
“Besides, she is still asleep.” The other guard added.
“One, I need to speak with her…” Shadow explained. “And two… so?”
Both of the guards deadpanned, looking at each other, then back at Shadow.
“Very well.” One of the guards spoke, stepping out of the way.
“Proceed with caution.” The other guard spoke.
Shadow raised an eyebrow at their comment, shrugging it off nearly instantly as he pushed the door open, making his way into her room.
The deeper he got into the room, the darker it seemed to get. And when the guards closed the door behind him, the entire room was pitch black, void of any light whatsoever. He tried to maneuver through the darkness without bumping into anything as he tried to find a light switch, or anything that would illuminate the room.
Eventually, Shadow’s random movements somehow ended with him practically stabbing a bed with his hoof. He blinked as he immediately stopped in his tracks, avoiding possibly waking up the alicorn mare.
He rubbed his eyes softly, trying to get his eyes adjusted to the dark, and hopefully see what he was doing, even if just barely.
Soon enough, he found himself able to just barely see the alicorn mare in front of him, wrapped under her blankets while she was curled up like a large ball.
“Should I wake her up…? Nah, she’s adorable sleeping…” Shadow begin to mentally debate with himself. “But... I really need to talk to her… but it could wait till she wakes up on her own… nah... I need to talk to her badly… just how to do it...” He looked over to his wing, smiling a bit as he now knew exactly what to do.
He extended his wing, reaching over top to above her nose, rubbing one of his feathers against it softly.
The sleeping mare slowly moved her face away, burying her muzzle in her blankets, groaning softly as she did so.
Shadow narrowed his eyes, deciding to move on to plan B. “C’mon, Luna… Time to wake up…” He grabbed Luna’s blankets, and yanked them off of her.
Luna’s eyes shot wide open. “INTRUDER!” She shouted loudly, immediately pointing her horn in Shadow’s direction, firing a large blast at magic at him. He reacted fast enough to nearly completely dodge the blast, having only singed part of his mane off. Luckily, it wasn’t very noticeable.
“I’M NOT AN INTRUDER!” Shadow shouted back. “HOLY FUCK!”
“THEN WHO ART THOU?” Luna asked in her Royal ‘Canterlot voice’ “AND WHY ART THOU WAKENING ME IN MINE CHAMBERS?”
“IT’S ME, SHADOW!” Shadow explained, still shouting like a madman. “I’M NOT A RAPIST, I’M NOT AN INTRUDER, I’M JUST SHADOW!”
“Please stop yelling now… Why have thou awaken me?” Luna rubbed her eyes softly, forcing herself awake. “I would’ve gotten up soon anyways...”
“WHAT?” Shadow raised an eyebrow. “I CAN’T HEAR YOU! I THINK YOU KILLED MY EARDRUMS!”
Luna deadpanned, pausing for a moment, then slapping him with her hoof.
“Better?” She cocked her head to the side.
“Oww…” Shadow rubbed the side of his face. “Yeah… You didn’t have to slap me, though…”
“Yes, but thou were annoying me.” Luna stated bluntly, sighing as she slowly got off of her bed. “I shall return for whatever thou must discuss so urgently after I have raised the moon.”
Shadow blinked. “Oh. Alright.” He watched as she left the room.
“G-Good evening, Princess Luna!” He heard one of the guards say from behind the door.
“Yes, thou art correct. Tis a good evening and it shall soon be a good night!”
“Of course it will, Princess! I’m sure of it!”
“Now, do not let anypony into my room, I have a visitor, and I would like to speak with him in private once I return.”
“Yes, Princess! Consider it done!”
Shadow sat down, patiently waiting for Luna to return. He began to look around, and realized Luna had forgotten to turn the lights on. “I wonder if she’ll mention the nightmares… Although, I’ve never seen her in my dreams…” Shadow’s mind began to wander off. “I wonder how she’ll react to me not sleeping for four days…” Soon, he found himself blankly staring off into space.
Then, his train of thought was snapped by one of the guards. “Princess! Back so soon?”
“It does not take much effort for me to raise the moon.” Luna began, partially entering her chambers before stopping and speaking to the guards once more, “I shall be returning to mine chambers now, while I am speaking with my visitor please ensure that not even mine sister is permitted to enter.”
“Will do, Princess.”
Shadow watched as Luna entered and shut her chamber doors once more. Lighting a candle as she sat in front of him. Once she was settled, he started to explain, “Luna...I came to talk to you about these dreams I’ve been having, at first they were every now and again but now they are frequent… I haven't slept in 4 days because of them...”
“Well, I am here now, please explain this dream of yours to me.” Luna replied calmly, with care laced throughout her soft voice.
“Well, it starts off with me being in the throne room of this castle…”
Celestia walked around the castle, making her way to her sister’s room. She ignored the two guards that stood in her way, and walked directly to the door.
“HALT!” One of the guards shouted, catching Celestia completely off guard.
“Princess Luna has us under strict orders not to let anypony in.”
“But I’m a Princes—”
“That includes her sister.” The other guard interrupted. “Which is, of course, you.”
“Hmph.” Celestia huffed. “Fine. I’ll leave her be…”
She walked away slowly, hiding off in another room. “You asked for this, Luna…” She levitated a mask in front of her. Flipping it over so she could see the front of it, she chuckled lightly, trying not to laugh at her masterpiece.
The guards remained in their place, standing perfectly still as they continued to do their job. But it wasn’t even minutes later for Celestia to return, wearing a mask that looked exactly like Jorge’s face, before he turned into a pony.
“Princess, what’re you do—”
“Hold up, guys…” Celestia spoke, trying her best to imitate the cuban. “Twilight screwed up a spell, and now I somehow look like Celestia… And my mouth somehow isn’t moving…” She explained. “I just need to get in there to get Shadow’s help with something…”
The guards looked at each other, their eyebrows raised, then looked back at “Jorge”.
“Uh-huh… And how did you know Prince Shadow was in here?”
“Celestia told me.”
“Oh, okay.” The guards nodded, quickly stepping out of the way. “Right this way…”
“Thanks!” ‘Jorge’ nodded, making his way into the room, but pausing right at the door as ‘he’ pulled something out of nowhere. “Here, have a banana.” Once the banana was in the guard’s hooves, then ‘he’ made his way inside.
Once she was halfway inside, she pulled the mask off, grinning wildly as she began to speak. “So, Luna…!” In an instant, she froze right in her tracks.
Luna was glaring angrily right at the white alicorn as Shadow was embraced by her wings while he was softly, yet audibly, sobbing into her. “You just had to enter anyways...well seeing you’re here, go send word for the need of a train to the Crystal Kingdom immediately.”
“But—”
“NO BUTS!”
Somehow, Jorge felt a disturbance. And it bothered him greatly, as his whole body began to cringe softly as long as he continued to think about it.
“Jorge?” Dash raised an eyebrow. “You okay?”
“Someone… Just tried to imitate me… and failed… incredibly…” Jorge muttered, trying to focus back on their movie.
“And you know this… how?”
Jorge stayed silent for a moment, trying to understand how he was able to sense this horrendous act. Then, in an instant, it clicked in his head.
“Celestia…”
Shadow grabbed onto his seat as tight as he could, trying not to go crashing into walls with the train’s current ridiculous speed.
Luna did exactly what he asked. She booked him the fastest train to the Crystal Kingdom.
What he didn’t expect, however, was the train actually hitting hyperspace. It could’ve at least failed at that like the Millenium Falcon.
“LUNA! THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULLLLLT!” He shouted, despite being the only one in the train, he still felt the need to shout it out.
In a matter of minutes, the train made the sharpest stop in the world, stopping nearly instantly at its station. Causing Shadow to be flung off towards the front of the train, crashing into the wall.
Groaning, Shadow rubbed his head, regaining his balance as he tried to stand back up. He slowly made his way out of the train, still rubbing his head. He looked off in the distance, seeing the rather large castle where Shining and Cadance resided.
“Welp… I’m here…”
Shadow began to wander around the castle. Not being familiar with its rooms and overall interior. He was more lost here than he was back in Canterlot, it also didn’t help he hasn’t slept in four and a half days, now. He continued walking from room to room, randomly wandering as he tried to find Cadance.
He continued walking around, observing his surroundings as he walked, to the point where he wasn’t even paying attention to where he was walking.
Then, he bumped into somepony.
Both Shadow and the pony fell into the ground, smashing their faces onto the crystal floor.
Shadow slowly raised his head, groaning softly as he tried to get back up. He looked at the pony in front of him, noticing it was a stallion. He barely recognized the stallion, and figured he’d probably know him better if he got a better look at his face.
If only it wasn’t smashed against the floor…
The stallion in front of him growled, pulling his head off from the ground. “Hey! Watch where you’re go—” He looked up at Shadow, realizing who he was now talking to.
“O-Oh! Sorry, Prince Shadow!” Flash Sentry’s eyes widened, immediately bowing down after his apology. “I-I should’ve looked where I was going!”
Shadow recognized the pegasus guard, and quickly attempted to stand perfectly straight, as well as keeping his head up, trying to look as regal as possible, only for him to trip slightly, nearly falling over like an idiot once more. “R-Right…” He muttered. “It’s fine… It’s mostly my fault, anyways…”
Flash raised an eyebrow, noticing his bloodshot eyes. “A-Are you alright, Prince Shad—”
“Just call me Shadow…”
Flash cleared his throat softly. “Are you alright… Shadow?” He asked. “You look like you haven’t slept in a while…”
“I haven’t…” Shadow sighed. “I’ve been having a bad week, lately…”
“I’m sorry to hear that, Shadow…” Flash pouted, his ears flopping back. “Is there anything I can do to help?”
“Well… Actually…”
Flash had led Shadow all the way to Cadance’s chambers, standing right outside her large, wooden doors. Flash simply nodded, and walked away.
Shadow blinked. “Where are you going?”
Flash froze in his tracks, turning his head back at Shadow. “Are you kidding me? I’m not getting involved in waking up Princess Cadance from her nap…”
“Why not?”
“Find out for yourself, I’m staying as far away from those doors as possible.”
In an instant, Shadow blinked as the pegasus guard went as far as using his wings to get a boost to run away from the scene. He then shrugged, not seeming to care anymore. He looked back at the doors in front of him, grabbing one of the handles, and giving it a gentle tug.
After a couple of attempts, Shadow realized his efforts were futile, as the doors would not budge. He raised an eyebrow, attempting to pull on the door harder, only for that to fail as well.
Mere moments later, Shadow came up the perfect plan.
He grabbed a phone he had on him...somewhere… and guessed his way through the password lock.
Luckily, he wasn’t greeted by a wallpaper that was as mentally scarring as the last time he held this phone. He turned the volume up to its complete maximum, looked through the songs carried in the phone, and began to play it, with the phone’s speakers facing Cadance’s door.
“NOW WATCH ME WHIP. NOW WATCH ME NAE NA—”
In an instant, the doors were slammed open, one of them smashing right into his face. With a soft thump, Shadow fell to the ground, nearly passing out from the intense blow to the face.
“WHOEVER IS PLAYING THAT INFERNAL SHIT EXTREMELY LOUD IS GOING STRAIGHT TO THE DUNGEON!”
Shadow dropped the phone, rubbing his muzzle with both of his hooves. “Ow…” He groaned. “I think you broke my nose, sis…”
Cadance blinked, looking behind the open door to find the stallion in pain. “Oh. It’s you.” Her anger seemed to fade away in seconds, as she quickly began to laugh softly. “I’d feel bad and all, but… That’s payback for the jelly donut. It took me a damn week just to get the visible jelly out of my mane… In fact, you’re lucky I was able to pull it off for the wedding...”
“I blame the fact your mane’s colored like jelly.” Shadow muttered, still rubbing his muzzle as he tried to make the pain fade away.
“Do you want another broken body part?” Cadance raised an eyebrow.
Shadow’s eyes widened as he quickly shook his head in response.
“That’s what I thought.” Cadance smirked, only for it to fade away as she could still hear the annoying song playing. She looked over at the source of the song, preparing to lift a hoof to smash it.
Shadow looked at the phone, then quickly grabbed it as he turned the song off.
“...That’s not your phone, is it?” Cadance deadpanned.
“No. No it’s not.”
“Does it belong to who I think it belongs to…?”
“Dashie? Have you seen my phone?”
“Not since Shadow left yesterday, no.”
Jorge deadpanned, growling softly as he immediately knew what happened to his phone.
“Shadow…”
“Yes. Yes it does.”
“Why do you have Jorge’s phone?”
“Why not?” Shadow raised an eyebrow.
Cadance eyed her brother-in-law, her eyebrow raised slightly as she looked at him with an unamused expression. Seconds later, she rolled her eyes, and shrugged. “Whatever. You woke me up, I’m awake. What do you want?”
“I wanted to talk…” Shadow simply huffed as he tried to cross his hooves in his current position. “Didn’t have to be so rude about it…”
Cadance simply deadpanned.
“Look. I haven’t slept in almost five days and I really just need to talk with my sister!”
Cadance realized what the sleep-deprived stallion had said, noticing his bloodshot eyes, drooping wings, slight wobbling, all backing up his statement. She looked at him with worry, reaching out a hoof to help him up. Once she had helped him up, she spoke.
“Let’s take this to my room, alright?”
As Shadow sat at the edge of Cadance’s bed, he looked over to her sitting beside him.
“Well... there has been a lot on my mind… I-I have been having nightmares for a few days… and I just haven’t been able to sleep because of it...” Shadow muttered, mustering strength to continue.
“Alright…” Cadance sighed softly. “Just… start from the beginning…”
“Well… it all started when…”
“I can hardly stay focused anymore...” Shadow fell silent, as he laid down resting his head on his hooves.
“Well...” Cadance started, as she draped a wing over Shadow, but was cut short as Shining let himself into the room
“What’re we talking about?” He nonchalantly said, coming the rest of the way through the door.
Cadance merely glared at him.
“...When’d Shadow get here?” he asked, noticing the despondent stallion. “And what’s wrong with him, did something important happen?”
Cadance said nothing, as she continued to glare.
Shining, finally noticing the look his lovely wife was giving him, quickly said “I can help, I swear.”
“You have five seconds until I show Shadow that sisterly love is nothing compared to my love for you.” She calmly stated
“Isn't it a bit early for wifely duties, Cadance?”
“One...”
“Honey, are you sure I can’t help...? Shadow looks a little worse for wear...” Shining now stammered.
“Two...”
“That’s my queue, I’m out.” He said, preparing to leave. “Never let her get to three, Shadow.” He commented behind him as he went out the window.
“I thought it was to a count of five...” Shadow half-heartedly wearied.
“Exactly.” commented Shining, now sitting on the balcony.
“Three...” Cadance calmly shouts after him.
“Fuck…” Shining said, vainly trying to find a way off the balcony. “Shadow, you gotta help me! You don’t know what she’s capable of!”
Shadow just sat there with his head on his hooves as Cadance gave him a hug and got up, making her way over to Shining.
“Four...” Cadance snarled.
Shining, now back inside the room, scrambled to find an escape, but just ended up in the corner of the room farthest from Cadance. “Honey please, what did I even do?” He pleaded.
Cadance now loomed over him, looking like something from a nightmare. Then she spoke, her voice brimming with rage.
“Five.”
“Why didn’t you help me…?” Shining groaned, rubbing his head as he tried to poke the watermelon stuck on his horn without hurting himself more. “Whatever happened to ‘bros before hoes’?”
“Are you calling your wife a hoe?” Shadow raised an eyebrow, sitting down on the floor.
“That’s besides the point.” Shining moved his hoof in a shooing gesture. “What matters i—”
“So you are calling your wife a hoe!”
“It’s just a metaphor, shuddap!” Shining retorted. “You still could’ve helped me!”
“No I couldn’t have.”
“Why’s that?”
“One. I’m tired as fuck. I can barely move my body, let alone react to anything or help anyone.” Shadow explained. “Two. I’ve already learned my lesson to not become the target of an angry Princess of Love. Three. This is payback for when I asked for your help back in Ponyville.”
“B-But—”
“And four… It’s really funny seeing you locked up in your own dungeon.”
“Dammit, Shadow!” Shining stomped the ground with a hoof, wincing in pain as his sudden movements shook the watermelon stuck to his horn.
“But hey, look on the bright side, melon-head.” Shadow chuckled. “At least you’ll be safe from Cadance’s wrath for a while.”
“How so?”
“I dunno, I’m just assuming Cadance is gonna be too lazy to come back down here.”
“You’re just assuming?”
Shadow shrugged. “I’m tired, I’m sleepy, I can’t sleep. I’m basically awake and asleep at the same time. Cut me some slack today...”
Shining simply deadpanned.
“Anyway…” Shadow groaned, slowly getting back up. “My work here is done. I’ll be seein’ ya, Shining.”
“Wait! Shadow! You can’t leave me in here!” Shining shouted, holding on to the bars in front of him with his hooves, watching as his brother-in-law simply continued on his path. “Shadow!”
“SHADOWWWWWW!”
Jorge stood by the train station, waiting for his Canadian friend once again. Shadow had given him a close estimate of when he would return, and hopefully his estimations were correct. Otherwise all this time the Cuban had spent would have all gone to waste.
Soon enough, a train came rolling by, seemingly empty. It slowly made its stop, its doors opening, revealing a familiar dark grey stallion walking through it.
“Right on time.” Jorge nodded. “Didn’t think you’d actually be here at the time you told me.”
“I’m a prince, Jorge.” Shadow rolled his eyes. “I can get things done.”
“Showoff.” Jorge huffed. “Well… How was your trip?”
“Pretty meh.” Shadow admitted. “I got the answers and help I needed, though.”
“Glad to hear…” Jorge patted Shadow on the back with a hoof. “Maybe now you can actually get some sleep.”
“Cadance knocked me out with some spell. And then tossed me into a train back home.” Shadow sheepishly smiled. “To be honest, me being here on time was a coincidence.”
Jorge deadpanned. “So if it weren’t for Cadance, you might’ve not even made it back in time…”
“Uh… Kinda?”
“...At this point, that doesn’t surprise me anymore.”
Shadow blinked, having instantly remembered something from his entire trip. “That reminds me…” He dug into his saddlebag, pulling a smaller paper bag from it. “I brought you some souvenirs.”
Jorge raised an eyebrow, taking the bag from his friend’s grasp, looking inside it. “Shadow? This is my phone…”
“Oh. Yeah, I brought your phone back too…” Shadow looked at him with a sheepish grin. “Almost forgot about that…”
Jorge narrowed his eyes, looking further into the bag, deadpanning as soon as he saw a certain object under his phone. He stuck his hoof in the bag, pulling out a gold banana. “Seriously?”
“Hm?” Shadow looked over at him, noticing the gold banana. “What? It’s a gold banana.”
“Seriously?”
“Celestia told me to bring it, I’m just the messenger!”
“Do you know where this banana is going?”
“To the black market? That shit’s real gold…”
“Nope.”
“Up Celestia’s ass?”
“Shadow…” Jorge looked at him with the most deadpan expression he’d ever seen. “This banana’s going to the black market, after it’s been shoved up your ass!”
Shadow went wide-eyed. “You wouldn’t dare.”
Jorge narrowed his eyes. “Try me.”
“Jorge…” Shadow took a step back, noticing his cuban friend slowly walking towards him. “Don’t do it, Jorge…”
Unfortunately, Jorge didn’t seem to listen, causing Shadow to panic slightly more. “Jorge…”
In an instant, both of the pegasi flared their wings open, preparing to fly.
“JORGE NO!” Shadow shouted.
Jorge shouted back. “JORGE YES!”
