Doctor Whooves: Friendship Games Part 1
Cyber Encounter
Previous ChapterNext ChapterMusky. That was how the janitors closet felt. It was old, and moldy, and there were cobwebs in the corners on the room. And, Adagio's tears weren't helping either, as they had created a tiny puddle under her face. She wasn't sure how long she'd been there, but the tears kept flowing.
Why was she crying? She never dried before. Before, if Luna had spoken to her like that, Adagio would've done two things. 1: Slap her across the cheek, and 2: Use her magic to charm her into embarrassing herself.
But, Adagio didn't have her magic, as her new jewel had yet to finish growing. Instead, it was just a plant growing on the side of the school. But, it hadn't even occurred to her to try and hurt Luna. Was she trying to change? Her mind said yes, her heart was unsure. If she thought someone was wrong, she'd make them know it. But, what if someone did her wrong?
She continued sobbing. The puddle under her grew, and she stayed in the closet, curled up, with her head in between her legs. Then she heard a loud noise, like a banging.
She looked up, and wiped the tears from her face. There was a shadow of a man in the corner. "Is someone there?" Adagio asked, wiping away the sorrow in her tone.
She slowly walked towards the silhouette. "Are you okay?"
The man slowly stepped into the light, revealing the metal surrounding his body. "You will be deleted."
Adagio screamed.
"What was that!?" The Doctor asked, whipping around towards the source of the sound.
"It sounded like something crashed." Twilight said.
Then there was a scream. The Doctor took off, following the source of the scream, the seven girls following him.
There was a massive road block in the hallway, and the Doctor spotted Adagio rushing through the crowd, shoving students out of her way, making her way towards the Doctor's position.
The Doctor stopped, and Adagio all but collided with him. "Metal...man...closet..." She gasped between breaths.
"Hold on, hold on, slow down!" The Doctor shouted, grabbing Adagio by the shoulders. "What exactly did you see?"
By now the seven girls were standing alongside the Doctor, and Adagio whipped around and pointed in front of her. "That!"
There was a metal man shoving students out of it's way, making it's way to the Doctor and his friends. "Cyberman!" The Doctor shouted, "Get down!" He pulled the girls into the art wing, just as a red laser bolt shot past them.
"What the hell is that!?" Rainbow Dash asked, as a crowd of students rushed past them.
"A Cyberman!" the Doctor answered, "sort of a half-human, half-robot thing! But, how did it get here?"
"Never mind that, how do we stop it?!" Adagio shouted.
"Let's see, we're in a school..." The Doctor pondered, "Is there anything we can drop on it? Something heavy?"
"Like what?!" Rainbow shouted.
"I don't know!" The Doctor shouted back, "What do you drop on a bullet-proof metal man?!"
A laser bolt whizzed past the Doctor's ear.
"I got it!" the Doctor shouted. "Lure it into the gym!"
"And how do we do that?" Applejack shouted.
"Just do as I do!" The Doctor shouted. He turned and ran into the hallway, stopped, arms and legs spread out, and shouted, "Look at me I'm a target!!!" He ducked behind a staircase, as several red laser bolts tried to hit him.
"You want us to do that?!" Sunset shouted.
"Don't worry! It's only got one laser arm!" The Doctor shouted.
"Just stall it for a few minutes, and get it into the gym!" The Doctor ran off, leaving the six girls alone.
"He's insane!" Rarity shouted.
"Very much so!" Sunset shouted. She straitened her jacket, and said, "Oh, Geronimo!" And, she ran into the hallway, heading towards the gym, laser bolts streaming past her.
Within the next few minutes, each of the girls had made their way to the gym, all except Twilight. "Oh, why am I the last one?" Twilight asked herself.
The Cyberman was very close now. Twilight had died once before, se really didn't want to again. She whipped around the corner, and ran out, laser bolts streaming past her.
The Cyberman chased her, as she bolted for the gym.
She entered the gym, and ran it. The Doctor and the others were standing at the end of it. Twilight ran toward them, and the Cyberman entered.
The Doctor had his screwdriver drawn, and stepped forward to face the Cyberman.
"You will be assimilated." The Cyberman said, raising it's arm.
"Sorry, but, I'm not exactly compatible." the Doctor held his screwdriver in the air, and pressed the button, as the sound of the screwdriver filled the room.
The Cyberman's arm was raised, and it's laser gun had been drawn out of his arm. But, before the Cyberman could fire, a supporting beam from the ceiling fell down, and collapsed directly on the Cyberman's head, crushing it, and causing the Cyberman to topple the floor, as blue liquid leaked onto the floor.
The Doctor walked over to the Cyberman, while the girls cheered, all except Twilight, who examined the Cyberman too. "How did this get here?" The Doctor asked himself. "This is an older model of Cyberman. Look at the chest plate, it still has the Cybus Industries logo. The new ones have a glowing blue light."
"What if there's more of them?" Twilight asked.
"Not likely." The Doctor said. "According to Adagio, it just showed up in the closet she was in. Cybermen don't come alone, they always travel in packs. This one is alone. But, how did it get here?" The Doctor reached into his pocket, and put on a pair of 3D glasses. "Hm..."
"What is it?" Twilight asked.
"Well-"
"What is going on here?!" A voice shouted from the gym entrance. The Doctor stood up, and saw Principal Celestia, with a deep scowl on her face, and her hands on her hips. She looked at the Doctor. "Dr. Smith, would you like to explain why there's a huge disaster in the middle of the gym?"
The Doctor stepped forward. "Sorry about the mess." the Doctor said, "but, you had a cybernetic man trying to kill your students, so I, with the help of these students here, lured it into the gym, and unscrewed one of the beams from the ceiling and had the beam fall onto the metal man smashing it's head."
Celestia looked at the ceiling. "How did you unscrew it?"
"With a screwdriver, what else?" The Doctor said, rubbing his hands together.
Celestia rubbed her forehead. "I don't have time for this. We need to get this place cleaned up quickly. Within an hour, at most. Dr. Smith, could you handle it?"
"Of course!" The Doctor said, nodding.
"Pinkie Pie!" Celestia shouted, and Pinkie hopped up to her. "Pinkie, do you think you could get this place decorated before tomorrow?"
"I know I can!" Pinkie said, gleefully.
"Good. You need to hurry. Will the rest of you come here?" Celestia asked, and the other six girls walked up to her.
"Yes, Principal Celestia?" Sunset asked.
"We need to bring concessions tomorrow, for both the Wondercolts, and the Shadowbolts." Celestia explained. "I'd like each of you to bring something. Twilight, Sunset, Applejack, I'd like each of you to bring the main course. Bring several, as we don't know if any of the Shadowbolts are vegetarians."
"You can count on us." Sunset said.
"Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, I'd like you three to bring snacks. Potato chips, small sandwiches, thing among those lines."
"You got it!" Rainbow Dash said with confidence.
"Good. Pinkie Pie, Adagio, I'd like you two to work on dessert. I believe that will be no issue?"
"None at all!" Pinkie said, happily, "I love baking!"
"Dr. Smith, if you could bring something as well, it would be helpful." Celestia said, breaking the Doctor out of his concentration.
"What? Oh, yes, I was just thinking of something to bring!" The Doctor said, grinning.
"Good. Now get started, you're on the clock." Celestia nodded, and walked off.
The Doctor whipped around. "Okay, here's what I need: A large rubbish bin-"
"Five streamer rolls," Pinkie Pie added.
"The Football Team-"
"The Banners that were made-"
"A mop-"
"Twenty packs of balloons-"
"A bucket of water-"
"Some markers-"
"Twelve Jammie Dodgers-"
"Five bottles of glue-"
"And a fez." The Doctor finished.
Everyone stared at him and Pinkie. "Well, go on, get started, we're on the clock!"
Everyone rushed to grab the set items, but the Doctor stopped Adagio. "I need to see the closet where you saw the Cyberman."
