Ponysona 3: The Nightmare Hour

I was walking back to the dorm after buying some things for the others, when I bummped into a young pony, he looked like he was ten years old.

"Oh, i'm sorry, here let me help." I said as I extended my hand to him, he took my hand and I helped him up.

"It's no problem, it's my fault." He said as he pulled his hand away.

"Where are your parents?" I asked, he looked sad after I said that.

"I-I don't have any parents." He said.

"Oh, that's sad, well you're not the first pony I met that's an orphan." I said, he looked up at me. "You see, i'm a part of this club, and the club leader has no parents either, why don't you come with me and he could talk with you."

"Y-yeah, i'd like that." He said as he gave a big smile. "Oh, by the way, my name's Silver Screen, and i'm a fifth grader at Canterlot elementary."

"So you're ten years old?" I asked.

"I'm not ten, i'm eleven." He said in an angry tone.

"Oops, my mistake, i'm Silver Wing, oh my, both of our names is Silver." I said as I giggled.

"Hey, you're right, that's kinda funny." Silver Screen said as he laughed with me. I then started to lead him to the dorm.

I was sitting in the lobby of the dorm with Silver Screen, waiting for the others to show up.

"Miss Silver Wing, where are the others?" He asked me.

"They should be here any minute now." I said as I started getting worried that they didn't get my texts.

"Hey so where's this kid?" I heard Star say. Star walked into the lobby and looked at me and Silver Screen.

"I-i'm here." Silver Screen said.

"Hey, i'm StarFly, Silver here told me about you and how you're the same as me." He said as he sat down next to us. "So what's your name?"

"I'm Silver Screen." Silver Screen replied.

"Whoa, two Silver's, hey what if I call you Screen?" Star asked.

"Sure, it'll help get the confusion out of the way." Screen said.

"So, tell me what you remember about your parent's deaths." Star said.

"Well, I was one at the time, I do remember something though, a big monster attacked and killed them, but there was something wrong with the sky, it was purple." Screen said.

"The Nightmare Hour." Star said. "If you were able to remember that happening, that must mean you have the potential"

"What's that?" Screen asked.

"The potential is this power we have that allows us to operate in this special hour at the end, and beginning of the day." Star explained. "The world changes, monsters appear called shadows, and the sky becomes purple while buildings are warped into monstrous looking things, and the moon, is red"

"Shadows?" Screen asked. "I haven't run into monsters, but the world has changed like you said, It happened last night, i remember because I was running away from my orphanage."

"Then why don't you stay with us, we can take care of you, and help you find the monster that killed your parents." Star said.

"I-i'd like that, thank you." Screen said as he flopped down on the couch and fell asleep.

"Being up all night will make anyone his age tired." I said.

"Yeah, i'll have a room prepared for him on this floor." Star said as he walked down the hallway to the rooms.

Later that day we all gathered for dinner together. Screen was awake and sitting next to Star asking him questions about the Nightmare Hour, and the shadows.

"I have made dinner for everypony, it is made to accommodate your preferences." Melody said while bringing out food for everypony. We all accepted the food and began eating, the food Melody made was delicious, I could taste bitterness, but sweetness, along with it being salty, making it bitter sweet.

"Delicious as always." Star said.

"Thank you for the compliment StarFly." Melody said, I looked at her and saw a slight hint of a blush.

"So these shadows could be what killed my parents?" Screen asked.

"Yes, your fuzzy memory of that day could help us find out weather or not you're a persona user." Twilight said.

"Yeah, and if you are, then we can begin your training, first you'd need protein." Sentinel said

"Don't even start with that shit again." Flash said as he held his head.

"Protein is a necessary part of any diet, and you need it to be strong." Sentinel yelled.

"Is it always like this here?" Screen asked.

"Yeah, it's pathetic." Star said. "But that's what makes it home, the fights we get into with one another make us stronger as friends, and family."

"That was a very, nice way, of putting it." Melody said.

"That is true, so we should seize every chance we get of this quiet." Twilight said. "Even if it's not that quiet, do you two want to be executed?" Twilight yelled at Flash and Sentinel.

"hehe, a kid his age still needs to be tucked in at night." I said as I was tucking Screen into his bed. "Well I guess it just makes him cuter like that."

I started to walk outside of his room, so that the rest of us could start heading to tartarus to fight the next big shadow.

"Is he asleep?" Star asked.

"Yes, I tucked him in just now, now let's go get that shadow." I replied

"This is going to be a tough mission were going on, so make sure you're ready." Twilight said.

"Don't worry, if any of you get hurt, I can heal you, and I can tell you the shadows weaknesses." I said.

"Yes, that is true, Silver Wing, will not, let us down." Melody said.

"Then let's go." Sentinel said. "The Biga Shadow is waiting for us to kill it.

"Yeah!" We all yelled as we walked into the night, ready for another battle.
