Chapters Voyage on the Midnight Princess
It was a sunny day at the beautiful town of Midava. Everyone was walking around, talking, and hanging out. But at the famous restaurant, The Sparkling Star, many people and ponies were hanging around. But there was a person and a pony hanging with the bartender. The blue pegasus who was drinking apple cider was Rainbow Dash. The man in green waiting for his drink was Lloyd Garmadon. And the squid bartender serving Lloyd's drink was Squidward Tentacles.
"Wow, today's going to be very usual." Lloyd said. "You guys think the same?"
"If it weren't so usually boring." Rainbow replied.
Squidward sighed. "Rainbow, there's no need to be all angry about today."
"Rainbow, we always come here for fun." Lloyd said to Rainbow. "I know you have a taste for awesomeness, but why act that way?"
"Don't you get it?" Rainbow asked. "It's the same thing everyday. I wake up, go outside, and go with you guys to here. It's like deja vu! A time lapse!"
"Well it's not like this job is no good for me." Squidward replied. "And it sometimes bothers me working with the entertainers over there. Is there something you want to do that can satisfy your taste?"
"I have something in mind, Squidward." Rainbow added. "Isn't it too much to asked for, I don't know, something new? Something awesome? Something I do best? An adventure would do so." She continued with her cider.
Lloyd sighed. 'Ponies.'
Suddenly, a gray pegasus comes into the restaurant as everyone noticed her. On her name tag, it said 'Hello. My name is Derpy'. Derpy gets out a poster. "Attention, everyone! The Midnight Princess has come for requests for a voyage to search for a treasure island! Whoever wants to join the crew is welcome!"
No one in the restaurant was interested, but Rainbow was.
"Guys! We have to get to that ship!" Rainbow exclaimed.
"Why? I have a job to do." Squidward replied.
"And I have errands to run." Lloyd said.
Rainbow rolled her eyes. "I know that's a lie, Lloyd. And Squidward, you can always take a vacation. It's going to be a luxury."
"No thanks." Lloyd and Squidward said in unison.
Rainbow groaned. "If you guys insist for not coming. And if you need me, I'll be at the Midnight Princess minding my own business. Whoever wants to join me is welcome." She said flying out of the restaurant. Rainbow looked around and saw a big ship with a blue sail with white dots that looked like the night sky. She smiled and flew to the ship. She landed and found two twin siblings at a desk that said 'Sign-Ups'. On their name tags, they said 'Dipper Pines' and 'Mabel Pines'.
Rainbow walked up to the twins and they noticed her. "Hello there. I'm here to join your crew."
Dipper got out a clipboard. "Name?"
"Rainbow Dash." Rainbow said. "But you can call me Rainbow or Dash. So where do I sign?"
"There's no need for signatures." Mabel added as she took out a bunny that looked strict. "It's up to Angel to decide if you're worthy or not."
Angel observed Rainbow to check if she was worthy enough. He turned to the twins and nodded in approval.
"Angel says you're good to be on the crew." Dipper said.
Rainbow smiled and flew onto the ship. She landed on the deck and looked at all the details of the ship. She also saw some people that also joined the crew. Rainbow walked to one of the volunteers, a little pink bunny. "Hey there, kid. You're volunteering too?"
The bunny turned and saw Rainbow. "Oh. I am volunteering."
"Well, I'm Rainbow Dash." Rainbow said. "I'm volunteering just for adventure."
"My name's Anais Watterson." The rabbit known as Anais replied. "I only came here because my family's poor. And I need to get some money for them."
"Wow that's just sad." Rainbow said as she looked up and saw brown raccoon at the top of the ship that looked like he was there for days. "Um, what's with that guy over there?"
Anais looked up and saw the raccoon. "I'm not really sure. He looks like he was up there for days."
Back at the Sparkling Star, Squidward finished his shift and had a drink with Lloyd.
"I wonder how Rainbow's doing by herself." Squidward said. "I've seen Rainbow angry before, but I haven't seen her bored of the same thing we do everyday."
Lloyd sighed. "Maybe we've been too ignorant on her. Maybe it's about time that we join her."
"Go ahead." Squidward replied. "I won't stop you."
Lloyd grabbed Squidward's arm and walked out the building. He walked to the Midnight Princess all the way to the Sign-Up desk. "Excuse me, have any of you seen a blue pegasus come over here?"
Dipper looked up and saw Lloyd and Squidward. "Yeah. She signed up."
"Well we're here to join your pirate crew." Lloyd said.
Mabel took out Angel. Angel looked at Squidward and fixed his tie. The he looked at Lloyd and saw a piece of his hair sticking out. Angel fixed Lloyd's hair and nodded in approval.
"You're good to go." Mabel said.
Lloyd walked up the ship dragging Squidward up to the ship with him.
Dipper turned and saw a blue unicorn with a white and blue mane and purple eyes holding a burnt apple fritter. On her name tag, it said 'Trixie Lulamoon'.
Trixie puts the fritter onto the desk. "This is my burnt fritter! If I was a detective, I would find one of you burning my fritters like you two always do!"
Dipper sighed and pulled a lever that said 'Get Rid of Jerk'.
Trixie fell into the Jerk Hole screaming is shock.
"Are you sure this is such a good idea?" Squidward asked. "I think this is a bit dangerous."
Lloyd turned and saw Rainbow. He ran to Rainbow letting go of Squidward's arm.
Rainbow turned and saw Lloyd running to her. "So you and Squidward decided to join me?"
"I'm sorry, Rainbow." Lloyd said. "I thought about, and I thought that we were very ignorant." He turned and saw the brown raccoon. "Why is he up there?"
"I'm not really sure." Rainbow replied. She turned and saw a sponge and a starfish walk up into the ship that look like they work on the Midnight Princess. And on their name tags, they said 'Spongebob Squarepants' and 'Patrick Star'.
Spongebob looked up and saw the raccoon. "Rigby! It's about time that you come down from there. You've been up there for days."
"Not now!" The raccoon known as Rigby said. "I'm busy!"
Dipper and Mabel walked up the ship.
"What's going on?" Rainbow asked.
"We're about to set sail." Mabel answered.
"No other people were interested." Dipper said.
"Why keep the gate open?" Squidward asked.
"We don't want to leave the captain behind." Patrick added. "Her name is Twilight Sparkle. She was the most faithful captain in the history of captains. And she is often serious."
"Where is she?" Rainbow asked.
"She's at a meeting with the mayor of Midava." Dipper answered. "She'll come after the meeting ends."
"Maybe we'll wait until your captain gets here." Lloyd said.
Voyage on the Midnight Princess
Chapter 2: Captain Twilight Sparkle
Meanwhile at the mayor's mansion, the mayor of Midava, Jake the Dog, was having a conversation with the captain.
"So, Ms. Sparkle," Jake said. "About the voyage, you're just getting the treasure just to give it to the poor, right?"
"It is certain." A female voice agreed.
Jake gets out a gold coin. "If I give you this, will that be a promise?"
A purple alicorn with an indigo mane with a pink and purple streak and purple eyes picks up the coin and puts it into the pocket of her night blue coat. "It's a promise, Mr. Mayor."
"Good." Jake said in relief. "Come back in one piece, okay."
Twilight nodded as she got out of her seat and walked out the door. She turned and saw her assistant, Sandy Cheeks, leaning against the wall if the building.
Sandy turned and saw Twilight. "So how'd it go?"
Twilight smiled. "It's a promise."
"Now that's great news!" Sandy said.
After they left the mansion, they walked back to the Midnight Princess.
Sandy turned to Twilight. "I've been thinking about the recruits Dipper and Mabel hired over at the ship. I wonder who they are."
"Maybe many people or ponies were interested." Twilight said.
As they reach the ship, they find Dipper and Mabel taking roll call on the recruits.
Spongebob looked over and saw Twilight and Sandy as he turned to the rest. "Everyone! The captain and her assistant is coming!"
Everyone went in a straight line. Patrick punched the pillar causing Rigby to fall on a pile of pillows. Rigby slid off the pile and walked into the line. Twilight walked in front of the recruits and turned to them.
"That's Captain Twilight?" Rainbow asked.
"The legendary Captain Twilight Sparkle." Dipper said.
Angel rolled a picture of the map to Twilight.
"Alright, everyone," Twilight said. "This is an important mission to get to that treasure island. We're only doing this for the poor. But we'll have to face consequences while we're on our journey. If we die, we die trying. Do I make myself clear?"
Everyone nodded to Twilight's question.
"Then let's get this voyage started." Twilight said in a determined tone.
Patrick lifted the anchor as Rigby grabbed the wheel which made the ship move.
"This is going to be awesome!" Rainbow exclaimed in joy. "Aren't you guys excited?" She wore a shocked face seeing Squidward throw up in a bucket. "I'll take that as a no for you, Squidward."
Suddenly, an explosion occurred from the back of the ship. The sailors turned and saw Trixie come out of the big hole.
"Finally!" Trixie yelled. "I have been digging my way out of that hole and now I will get what I want on this ship! And I'm never getting off this ship until I get my fritters!"
Twilight walked up to Trixie. "You don't have to leave. I have a job for you, Trixie."
After the talk, Trixie came out of a room holding a bucket full of soapy water and a sponge. "I cannot believe what that she-devil wanted me to do."
"I heard that." Twilight said turning to Dipper. "Dipper, can you get me a nice cup of tea?"
Dipper ran to the kitchen to get Twilight's tea. (That's right. There's a kitchen on the Midnight Princess)
Mabel slid to Trixie. "I'll give you some advice, Trixie. BE MORE LIKE DIPPER!"
"Mouth of a Megaphone." Trixie mumbled.
"I heard that!" Mabel yelled.
"Are you two sure that staying on a ship until we get to the treasure island is a good idea?" Squidward asked nervously. "I'm not really into traveling the sea. It's so inappropriate."
"Inappropriate or not?" Lloyd replied. "It's what Rainbow wanted. And she looks like she's having the time of her life."
"This is awesome!" Rainbow exclaimed. "Sailing the ocean for treasure just doing this for the poor! I love it."
"I know." Anais said. "I'm just pretty glad that I can get some of that treasure to support my family."
Dipper ran back to Twilight with a cup of tea. "I got your tea."
Twilight took the cup from Dipper. "Thank you. Now get back to work."
Trixie was scrubbing the pillars of the ship. 'This ship should've been mine.' She thought. 'I tried my best on that test at the Ronira Academy for Unicorns! And whoever passed gets to have this ship. Madam Celestia should've chose me. BUT NO! She chose Twilight Sparkle because she aced that test! And she had to name this ship the Midnight Princess!' Trixie scrubbed the pillar angrily.
"Don't scrub that pillar too hard." Patrick said. "I just polished this ship."
"I just polished this ship." Trixie copied trying to mimic Patrick's voice.
"I heard that!" Patrick replied.
Mabel sat next to Rigby looking at him in concern. "Rigby, you've been glued to that book everyday. Are you studying or something?"
Rigby sighed. "Of course I'm studying. I need to do this because my test is coming soon and if I don't pass, I don't graduate from college."
"So that's why you were up on the ship for days." Mabel said. "You're being more like Moondancer. Has she given you advice for the test?"
"Yes, Mabel." Rigby replied. "Before I left for my voyage, she gave me this book. Which means I have to study for the entire voyage."
"I bet that your friend, Mordecai, is praying that you'll ace the test." Mabel added.
Rigby scoffed. "I hope he is. He's lucky that he graduated college before me and this is my last year."
"You want something to drink?" Mabel asked.
Rigby puts the book down and turned to Dipper. "Dipper, can you get us some lemonade?"
Dipper ran to the kitchen to get the lemonade.
That night, everyone was in bed. But Rigby was wide awake reading his book.
Meanwhile in Twilight and Sandy's room, Twilight was looking at the map. But she found a ship next to hers.
Sandy turned and saw the expression on Twilight's face. "What is it?"
"We have company." Twilight said. "Get the whole crew."
Sandy nodded and ran to the recruits' room. "Everyone wake up! We have company!"
The recruits woke up.
Rainbow rubbed her eyes. "What's going on."
"We have one way to find out." Anais said.
The recruits ran on deck and saw a ghostly ship next to them and it showed ghost changelings.
"G-G-G-Ghooooosts!" Squidward yelled running inside.
"Wimp." Rigby said.
"I wouldn't call him that if I were you." Lloyd replied.
Twilight stood in front of the crew. "Spongebob, Patrick, get to the cannons. Their ship is possessed by them."
"Oui, Capitaine." Spongebob and Patrick said in unison and ran to the cannon room.
Twilight turned to Rainbow. "Rainbow, get the weapons. They have weapons that some people wield."
"Yes, ma'am." Rainbow said flying to get the weapons.
Meanwhile with Spongebob and Patrick, they were setting up the cannons.
Anais ran into the the cannon room and saw Spongebob and Patrick. "Can I help?"
"You can't be here!" Patrick exclaimed. "It's child labor! Even for you."
"Child labor or not?" Anais asked. "We have to do this together."
Back with the others, Rainbow came back with a bag full of swords.
"I got the weapons like you told me to." Rainbow said.
Twilight took one of the swords. "I always knew I could count on you, Rainbow."
"That's what my mom told me when I was little, Captain." Rainbow replied.
Twilight chuckled. "Please, call me Twilight."
Squidward was hiding in the kitchen. But he was found by Dipper and Mabel.
"What are you doing?" Dipper asked sternly.
"Hiding from the battle." Squidward said in a tone of fear. "I'm not going out there! I have my own life! I want to go home!"
Mabel slapped Squidward's face. "Pull yourself together! We're in a battle and you have to face your fears!"
"You can do this." Dipper added. "I believe in you."
Squidward closed the cabinet doors shut.
Dipper sighed with his face buried in his hands. "This is going to be a long battle."
A board went up to the the Midnight Princess and ghost changelings ran up to the ship. Twilight stood in front of the captain of the ghost changeling ship, Captain Chrysalis.
"Finally, I get to battle the captain of this ship." Chrysalis said. "After putting many captains in defeat, I get to kill another."
"I like to see you try." Twilight replied.
Rainbow punched and kicked many ghost changelings off the ship. One of the changelings were in front of a cannon and got shocked when in finally knew it was about to fire.
Trixie was scrubbing the floor in panic. "Seriously! Stop making a mess on this ship."
Lloyd turned to Trixie. "Can't you see we're in the middle of a battle!?"
"I noticed!" Trixie yelled.
"Just ignore her, bud." Rainbow said to Lloyd as she punched a ghost changeling from behind. "She's only trying to mess with you."
'Says you.' Lloyd thought.
Angel got out a box of dynamite out of a shed. (Just to let you know, reader, the Midnight Princess also has a shed) He went to the cannon room, lit up every stick of dynamite, stuffed them in one of the cannons, snatched gunpowder out of Patrick's hands, poured all of it into the cannon, and shot it at the possessed ship.
The ghost changelings noticed the dynamite as the dynamite blew up causing all the ghost changelings to disappear. The rest of the crew was shocked of what they saw. Spongebob, Patrick, and Anais went out of the cannon room cheering for Angel.
"Angel, you brainiac!" Anais exclaimed.
The rest of the crew were surprised that Angel saved their lives. They all cheered and clapped for Angel. Squidward came out of the kitchen and sighed in relief.
"That was awesome." Lloyd said.
"I know!" Rainbow exclaimed. "It was a blast! I told you it would be awesome. I wonder what we're going to hit next."
Voyage on the Midnight Princess
Chapter 3: The Conversation
The next day, everyone woke up going on deck meeting up with Twilight and Sandy. Ever since their ghost changeling experience, they were still shocked of what Angel did to save their souls. Even Trixie was shocked of what she and the others saw. They were on deck minding their own business.
"I almost forgot." Patrick said.
Lloyd turned to Patrick. "What?"
Patrick brought out a box and opens it. "I brought cinnamon rolls" He takes one out of the box. "One for me." He walks to Rainbow. "One for Rainbow." Rainbow takes one and thanks Patrick. Patrick walks to Lloyd. "One for Lloyd." Lloyd takes one as Patrick walks to Dipper and Mabel. "One for you two." Dipper and Mabel take one for them each. Patrick walks to Squidward. "One for Squidward." Squidward takes a cinnamon roll. "Thanks." Patrick walks to Twilight. "One for the captain." Twilight takes a roll and takes a bite of it. Patrick walks up to Spongebob. "One for Spongebob." Spongebob takes one. "Thanks, Patrick." Patrick walks to Rigby, who was reading his book. "One for Rigby." Rigby turned and saw Patrick holding the box. He takes one of the rolls. "Thanks. I needed something to eat anyway." Patrick walks to Sandy. "One for Sandy." Sandy smiled and takes a roll. Patrick walks to Anais. "One for Anais." Anais takes a roll. "Thank you, Patrick. You're not so bad after all." Patrick walks to Angel and gave the last roll to Angel. "And one for Angel." Patrick turned to Trixie. "Sorry, Trixie. I only brought twelve."
"It's okay." Trixie added. "I wasn't hungry anyway."
Dipper looked at Trixie with a sad face and walked up to her.
Trixie turned and saw Dipper offering his roll.
"You can have mine." Dipper said.
"I can't." Trixie replied.
Dipper placed it in front of Trixie. "I insist."
Trixie took the roll and took a bite.
Dipper walked back to Mabel.
"Dipper, that was for you." Patrick said.
"That's what generosity's all about." Dipper added as he got out a journal. He wrote 'Day 2: It was a total shocker seeing Angel defeat that ghost ship last night. But today, Patrick gave everyone cinnamon rolls except Trixie, so I gave her mine. I didn't want to be a total jerk by NOT giving her my roll. That's what generosity's all about, giving something you love to someone else. I guess. I'm just trying to be a nice guy, though.'. He closed his journal and sighed.
"So, what now?" Rainbow asked. "I mean, how long will we be at that treasure island?"
"Soon." Twilight answered. "We'll be there sooner or later."
"Maybe we'll be away from Midava for a while." Anais guessed.
"Yeah." Squidward replied. "But we have to be patient. We might be gone for days, weeks, or-"
"Wait," Trixie interrupted. "What do you think you're doing?"
"Trixie, Squidward's only trying to help." Lloyd said.
"Well, he's not helping." Trixie added.
"I'm right here, you know." Squidward said in a stern tone. "Can't you just give me a chance for once?"
"Why should I?" Trixie asked in an annoyed tone. "You're the only one wearing that lame coat."
The rest gasped of what Trixie said.
"Uh oh." Anais added.
"Uh oh, indeed." Rainbow replied.
Squidward's wore an annoyed and angry face. "Take. That. Back."
"I can't." Trixie replied. "And I wouldn't."
"This coat was given from my father." Squidward said sternly. "It is a symbol for good luck, loyalty, and peace."
"You don't scare me." Trixie added. "Neither do your threats. Even though we've been here yesterday, I still don't trust you."
"Mabel was right about you." Squidward shot back. "Why can't you be more like Dipper?"
Trixie turned to Lloyd. "Your friend here is being rude."
Twilight got up. "Let's just drop it for now."
Rainbow wore a confused face.
"It means to calm down." Anais explained.
"Why don't I just walk the plank and leave you alone?" Squidward asked.
"You're not leaving this ship." Sandy said. "Not until we go home."
"Sandy's right." Rigby added. "We're not done with our voyage."
Trixie scoffed. "Let him leave if he wants to."
Squidward was about to jump off the ship, but Twilight stopped him by teleporting in his way.
"You're not going anywhere." Twilight added.
Trixie wore a shocked face and shook her head. "Captain-"
"We're on the same team now." Twilight interrupted. "Squidward is staying, no matter what."
Trixie crossed her arms in an unamused way.
"You have to embrace it, Trixie." Lloyd told Trixie.
"You have to embrace it, Trixie." Trixie mocked.
"I heard that." Lloyd said.
Rainbow turned and saw Twilight walking into her room. She followed her and found her looking at a picture with her and a white unicorn with a pink mane and teal eyes next to her. She walked up to Twilight. "Twilight, you okay?"
Twilight turned and saw Rainbow. "Well, it's not that important to talk about."
"Twilight, you can tell me anything." Rainbow said.
Twilight sighed. "When I was a filly, I had this friend of mine that was honest, brave, stood up for others, and strong. Her name was Applejack. She fought many creatures and protected her loved ones. But when we grew up, a tragedy struck. After I got this ship, I went on my first voyage with Applejack by my side. We found this island. It was dark, cold, and a bit scary. We weren't afraid of anything that comes out of the dark, even if it was dangerous. I had a bunch of scars, I was very exhausted, and my hooves were in pain. But I ignored it. But for Applejack, she was tough as a rock. But then, we stumbled upon a dark cave wondering what was inside. What we saw was glowing red eyes staring back at us. Little did we know, it was something called a Timberwolf. A wolf made of nothing but wood. We escaped, luckily. But what I saw scarred me a lot. But Applejack told me to imagine that never happened. But then Applejack and I made some new friends when we went from one place to another. But one day, Applejack retired from the crew and got a job as a bartender at Ponyville. I was going to miss her so much, and I was sad that Applejack was leaving the crew. And that was the last time I saw her."
"Wow." Rainbow said. "I'm so sorry. I never knew much about you until now."
"I know." Twilight replied. "But I get to write letters to her."
Outside Twilight's room, Rigby was reading his book. (Obviously studying) Lloyd was curious about what Rigby was reading, so he walked up to him and sat next to him.
"So, Rigby, what are you studying for that test of yours?" Lloyd asked.
"A history test." Rigby answered. "I'm just studying because I seriously need to graduate from college."
"So, about what Mabel said," Lloyd said. "Who's Moondancer?"
"She's a friend of me and my friend, Mordecai." Rigby explained. "She has been our friend when we were in high school. Everyone in all of our classes called her the 'Class Nerd'. But she didn't care about that. And today, she and Mordecai graduated last year, and it is my last year of college. And if I don't study for the test, I won't be able to graduate."
Lloyd patted Rigby's back. "Just take it easy there, Rigby. And good luck on that test. I bet your friend is praying."
'That's what they all say.' Rigby thought.
Hours passed, and there was no sign of land anywhere. Anais was next to Angel having a conversation with him. (Even though both of them are bunnies and Angel can't talk)
"How long are we going to be on this ship?" Anais asked.
Angel shrugged.
Anais sighed. "This might look like child labor, but I have to do this for my family. My mom works for hours to get some money, but the amount is not enough. And that's why I'm here on this ship. To support my family."
Angel patted Anais in assurance.
Anais picked up Angel and hugged him. "Thanks for helping me with my struggles, Angel."
Angel smiled and hugged her back.
Voyage on the Midnight Princess
Days and nights have passed for the crew, and they didn't see a piece of land. And Rainbow was being patient to find that treasure island that Twilight was talking about since the first day of the voyage. But Squidward wasn't enjoying himself now. Everyday, he's been getting more fearful and losing his mind. And he's been starting to chew on things he shouldn't.
Anais sighed. "Rainbow, your friend is starting to get very impatient. And he's chewing on the rim of the ship."
"Don't worry, kid." Rainbow said. "Squidward will get over it sooner or later. Maybe he might calm down once we find that island."
"Isn't it weird that Rigby's studying for a history test while we're on this voyage?" Anais asked.
"I use to say that reading was for eggheads." Rainbow explained. "But I read this series of books called 'Daring Do', and I realized reading wasn't so bad after all." She turned to Squidward, who was now chewing a barrel. "I guess Squidward really misses home. But this is only for the poor. And for your family."
"It was hard being part of a poor family." Anais added. "But I have to doing this, just for them."
"I understand, Anais." Rainbow replied. "But at least we're giving parts of the treasure to the people who seriously need money."
Dipper finished writing in his journal and sighed. He walked up to the ship's telescope and found a huge piece of land. "Guys! I found something!
Mabel picked up Angel and ran to Dipper. Then she looking into the telescope and saw what Dipper saw. Then she ran to the bell and rang it. The rest heard the bell and ran on deck. Twilight and Sandy ran out of the kitchen.
"What is it?" Twilight asked seeing Dipper making a gesture telling her to come. She ran to Dipper and saw the big piece of land. She then checked the map and it matched the big island. "We made it! The treasure island!"
Squidward stopped chewing and cheering in joy. "Finally! After days of chewing on items I shouldn't, I get to get off this ship!"
"Not until we get what we needed and go home." Trixie said.
"I know!" Squidward yelled in joy.
Rigby ran to the wheel. "Alright, ship. Take us to that island." She spun the wheel which made it go left.
After they reached the island, they went off the boat seeing it's beauty.
"Be careful." Twilight said. "This place is filled with traps, dangerous creatures, and lots of things that might try to kill you." She got out the map and started walking.
The rest followed Twilight.
So, Twilight, is there a way to get to what we're looking for?" Lloyd asked.
"There are some carts at the entrance." Twilight answered. "But they sometimes take you to something dangerous."
Mabel looked around and saw lots of bones. "Something tells me that many people on this island before us didn't survive."
Angel was hiding in Dipper's bag trying not to get caught by anything that wants him for dinner. The crew suddenly saw two ways. One going left, and one going right. Twilight suggested that they should split up into groups. So Rainbow, Lloyd, Sandy, Twilight, Spongebob, Patrick, and Rigby went right, and Squidward, Trixie, Dipper, Mabel, Anais, and Angel went left.
"So, Trixie, why did you decide to join this crew?" Squidward asked.
"I needed a job." Trixie answered.
Anais turned to Trixie. "Would you fight ten hundred angry killer bees or five hungry bat ponies?"
"What kind of question is that?" Trixie asked.
"It's what my mom asked me before I left on this journey." Anais answered. "I chose angry bees. Why? I'm not afraid. So, choose wisely."
"I'll think about it." Trixie said.
Dipper heard many people speaking backwards. "Do any of you guys here some people speaking backwards?"
The rest heard it as well. And it was coming from behind a bush. They went to the bush and looked over. What they saw was many color-coated ponies, but what freaked them out the most was the way their mouths were. The strange ponies turned to them wearing confused faces.
"Everyone, stay still." Dipper whispered. "Something tells me that those weird ponies can sense fear in our hearts."
One of the ponies spoke a question backwards.
Trixie screamed in fear and ran away. The rest did the same, but Angel fell out of Dipper's bag. The strange ponies walked up to Angel, who was wearing a scared face. An idea popped into one of the ponies' head and talked to that other strange. The other ponies cheered backwards. Meanwhile, Squidward, Trixie, Dipper, Mabel, and Anais stopped running taking a breather.
Squidward suddenly had a thought in his head. "Where's Angel?"
Dipper checked his bag, and Angel wasn't there. "That's odd. He was in by bag minutes ago."
"If Angel isn't in Dipper's bag," Anais added. "Then he must be with-" Then she puts a shocked face on. "Oh no."
"Those weird ponies must have got him." Mabel said. "Or maybe he fell out when we ran."
"We have to go back!" Trixie suggested. "But not without help."
Meanwhile, the crew was waiting for the others to come. They've waited for minutes, not knowing where they are. Twilight turned and saw Squidward running to them.
Rainbow got up. "What took you so long? And where are the others?"
"We need...help." Squidward panted.
The crew puts on a shocked face. After being touched by Squidward's plead, they went to where Squidward and the others went. They then looked over a bush and saw the weird ponies dancing around Angel, who was tied on a spit.
"Oh no." Rigby added.
"What are those ponies?" Dipper asked.
"UzaPonies." Twilight answered. "One of the most strangest ponies of history."
"You might think they're cute, But don't let their cuteness fool you." Sandy added. "Sometimes they can be very dangerous once you get near them."
"I have to admit," Lloyd said. "They are very weird once you look at them twice."
"I know." Trixie replied. "It's looks like they're made of molten plastic."
"We just need someone to distract those ponies while we get Angel off that spit." Twilight said.
The crew then turned to Trixie, then push her into the UzaPonies' grounds. The UzaPonies turn to Trixie looking confused.
"Um, hello." Trixie stammered. "I'm T-Trixie Lulamoon and I'm here to be your friend." She smiled nervously.
The UzaPonies walked up to Trixie not knowing that Dipper walked out of the bush to get Angel. As he walked up close to the spit, Dipper got out a pocket knife and sliced the rope to free Angel.
"I'm sorry, Angel." Dipper whispered putting Angel into his grasp.
As Dipper was about to walk back to the others, he accidentally stepped on a twig, which caught the ears of the UzaPonies. The odd ponies turned and saw Dipper holding Angel.
Trixie looked over the UzaPonies. "Thanks a lot, Dipper."
The crew then ran away from the UzaPonies screaming in fear with the strange ponies following them. They found a cave to hide in and ran into it. Then a rock avalanche covered the entrance.
"Well, we're stuck here." Squidward added.
"At least we got Angel." Mabel replied.
Patrick heard his stomach rumble. "I'm hungry!"
"We been on that ship for days, and now you're hungry?" Rainbow asked. "I say we spend our days here without food!"
"We're all hungry." Anais said. "And I have an idea. I say we eat Squidward."
"Don't even try." Squidward added. "But Dipper has nutrients. And he has loads of meat on him."
"Hey!" Dipper yelled.
"No. We must eat the captain." Trixie demanded.
Twilight was shocked, but shook her head. "No one is eating anyone. We have to find a way out of this cave. But there's a path here. And we should follow it." She turned to Patrick. "Sorry, Patrick. You might have to wait."
Patrick wore a gloomy face.
"I agree with Twilight." Rainbow said. "I am not eating by being a cannibal. Let's move!"
"Fine." The others said in unison following Rainbow and Twilight.
Twilight turned to Rainbow. "Thanks for being understanding, Rainbow."
Rainbow smiled. "You're welcome."
