Twilight and I

"College is nearly over!" I cheered to my self while jumping up from my chair. Everyone just glared at me.

"Sit down Alex!" the teacher shouted while slapping her book on the desk which made the desk sound like a piece of steel. Everyone was still looking at me, like something was amiss. I just looked down at my desk reading my English book.

With that, college had finished. Students were running past me as they tried to escape the hectic place. They were like birds who had just been let out of a cage. Free and nothing could stop them. I didn't run of course as I had nothing to look forward to except from going home to watch MLP. I let out a big sigh and started walking home.

"When will there be someone else who actually cares about me and stays with me instead of leaving me on my own 24/7."

After about 20 minutes of walking, I finally got home. But something was strange. The living room door was open. I swear I closed it when I went out and it couldn't be my grandparents as they were away as I said before. I was a bit scared as the first thought what came into my mind was "maybe it could be robbers?" I walked into the living room and saw there was nothing there so I went to turn on my laptop when I heard something from upstairs.

"What the fuck was that?"

At this point I was literally shitting myself. I went into the kitchen, grabbed a normal kitchen knife and headed upstairs quietly. Now don't get me wrong, I hated violence. But if there were any robbers in my house or something, I'd have to use force. Anyway as I got to the top of the stairs, I could see that my bedroom door was open. I went in and was shocked at what I saw.

"Is that..........no it couldn't be."

In front of me, laid out on the bed asleep, was a purple pony sort of creature. It had a horn and a mane running down its back what was a weird colour. I stood there, my mouth wide open in shock, staring at the creature. It must have heard me walking up to the bed because it woke up and stared at me. What was worse is....it started talking.

"Oh...I am so sorry. I didn't think that this house was occupied. Please don't hurt me!"

I could see she was really scared of me as when I went towards her, she backed off in pure fear.

"Please...Please don't hurt me! I'm so sorry!"

At this point she was literally crying. This made me feel really bad inside. As I walked towards her, I noticed her horn was glowing.

"It's ok. I'm not going to hurt you. I promise."

"Oh....."

Her horn had stopped glowing now and she was looking up at me, still crying and still scared to death.

"I will leave immediately. I feel so......"

I stopped her there and sat down on the bed.

"Wait...I know you. You're Twilight Sparkle...correct?"

"Yes. How did you know that?"

"Oh my god.....how did you even get here?"

She was staring at me, confused and disturbed by how I knew her.

"Well...I'll explain in a second...First, how do you know me?"

"Well.....I don't know how to say this so I'll just come straight out with it. In this world, you're a made up cartoon character."

She looked down at the floor and looked back up at me. Tears still flowing from her eyes.

"What's a...cartoon?"

"It's....too hard to explain right now. Look, you don't have to go. I'm not mad at you for being in my house, in my bed."

"Ohh...thank you. Could I maybe....stay here until I can find a way to get back to my world?"

"Yes. Of course you can."

"Thank you. You are being so kind to me even though I barged into your house and slept in your bed. Why?"

"Because I know who you are and you are just totally awesome."

She now looked at me in confusion.

"Can we go downstairs and talk about how you know me??"

"Sure."

We headed downstairs. While she sat down, I asked her if she wanted anything to eat. She plainly asked for grass, which was a bit weird in my opinion. But after about 5 seconds of me processing the strange request, I went out and got her some grass from my garden. I gave her the grass, sat down and started looking at her.

"Right. How do I explain this....I said that you were a made up cartoon character right?"

"Yes."

"Well.....you technically aren't real....in this world. You are a made up character in a cartoon. Cartoons are broadcast over a television, a device what lets us watch things, for little children to see and enjoy."

She spat out her grass and looked at me in disbelief.

"You mean.....in this world....I'm not real."

"Basically yes. You shouldn't even be here. How did you even get into this world?"

She ignored my question and looked at me, shocked. I could see the tears welling up in her eyes.

"I'm not real here........I'm a made up character. That's........awful."

She started crying, yet again. But she was worse this time and wouldn't stop sobbing. After about a minute of this, I finally got the courage to try and comfort her. I held her hoof in my hands and looked into her soft, sobbing eyes.

"Look Twilight, don't worry. Your very famous here, even if you are made up in this world. A lot of people love you."

At this she smiled, but also confused.

"Thankyou....but it seems a bit strange that I'm famous in a different world, where I don't exist and that another species actually loves me."

I clenched her hoof harder in my hands.

"Well you might not be real here but I still think your amazing. Now I'm guessing you have 5 friends right??"

"Thankyou ever so much. Yes I have 5 friends. They are called....."

I cut her off as I knew what she was going to say.

"Let me guess. Their names are Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy?"

"Why yes...they are called that. I'm guessing their not real here either are they?"

"No. None of your world is real here. Even Equestria is made up in our world. It is made up by us humans.

She started to get even more sad now which made me feel bad as I tried to comfort her, but instead made her worse.

"The whole of Equestria is made up in this world and doesn't exist here?!"

"No. It does not."

She started sobbing yet again which brought a tear to my eye. I tried to comfort her again but hopefully I would do better this time.

"Don't cry Twilight. Look, I promise I will do my best to help you stay safe in this world while your here."

She smiled and hugged me, which in turn made me blush.

"You humans are so kind!"

I smiled at her compliment.

"Its ok Twilight. So, how did you even get here then?"

She backed away from the embrace and looked at me once again.

"Well....I was casting a magic spell when all of a sudden, it backfired and created a massive flash of light which blinded me. When I came too, I was in your garden. At this point in time I had no clue what this place was or if anyone lived here so I came in to take shelter."

"That's quite bad. How long do you think it'll take you to get back to Equestria?"

"Well, considering I do get back.....it'll be at least a week or 2 as Celestia will hopefully come into this world and try to bring me back to my world."

"Wait wait....you mean Princess Celestia....right?"

"Yes, that is correct."

I started smiling like an idiot. She noticed this and looked confused at why I was smiling.

"Shes my 2nd best pony on the show! Now your telling me she is actually real like you are?!"

"Yes, she is. By what you've told me about this show, then I would say whatever is in the show is real in my world. Such as my world is Equestria and that's what it is in the cartoon...right?"

I simply nodded.

"Well....once again, thankyou for letting me stay here for a bit. You said you are a human?? Is that what your entire species, on this planet, is called?"

"Yes. My species is called humans and we are the main inhabitants of our planet, which is called Earth. But we also have different animals here."

"Such as???..."

"Well there's a million different species of animals on this earth. Including chickens, pigs, sheep, horses, ponies...."

She cut me off before I could finish.

"Wait...did you just say ponies?"

"Yes I did."

"So there's others like me?"

"No. They are nothing like you or your species from Eqeustria. They are....weird looking, they don't talk, and they ain't as clever as you or your species."

She smiled and slightly blushed at the comment.

"Well....I wouldn't say I'm clever....but thankyou for the compliment. Also, I'm sorry, I forget to ask....whats your name?"

"My names Alex, I'm 19, I go to college and I live with my grandparents. You?"

"Well you already know my name. But I'm 18, I love reading books, studying and writing friendship letters to Princess Celestia, as she is my tutor in magic."

I thought about this for a second and realised this was all in the show.

"So your only a year younger then me?..."

"Yes."

"Strange. I'm much bigger then you. But that's to be expected seen as your a pony and I'm a human."

She laughed at my statement.

"Just because I'm smaller doesn't mean I'm not as clever as you "humans".

I looked at her and saw she had a cheeky grin on her face. I started to laugh as well.

"Of course not. Your probably smarter then most of the humans on this damb planet".

She smiled once again and blushed. Her face went bright red.

"Hahaha....I'm sure that's not true. But once again, thankyou ever so much for the statement."

"Its fine."

We started to talk about how her world was much different to Earth and I told her about the horrible things us humans do. Including war. After we talked for about an hour, she asked a really.....awkward question.

"I noticed you've not eaten anything since you've been here with me. What exactly do humans eat?"

I was trying to think of a answer because if she was a talking pony and Equestria was filled with talking ponies....there might be talking chickens, pigs, sheep, etc.

"Ermmm.....well we are omnivores,"

She seemed to know what it mean't as she looked at me in horror and backed away.

"Omnivores eat plants and meat......don't they?"

I simply nodded to her. She backed away even further and started to look really frightened of me once again.

"What meat do humans actually eat?....you....you don't eat ponies do you?!"

"Of course we don't Twilight. We only really eat fish, mostly"

After hearing this, she calmed down a bit and came to sit back down next to me. She was still shocked.

After about 4 hours of talking, we finally decided it was time for bed. She started surveying the room which made me a bit curious. I walked up next to her.

"What you looking for Twilight?"

She stopped staring at the room and looked at me with a confused face.

"Well I was just wondering.....where can I sleep?"

"You can sleep with me if you like?"

She blushed a little.

"Oh....well I don't want to....disturb you or wake you up...I mean I don't mind at all but....."

I patted her on the back while laughing.

"Trust me Twilight, you won't disturb me or wake me up. When I'm asleep, not even an earthquake can get me up."

She started laughing along with me. After we had finished joking around, she asked me yet another question.

"Have you got any books I could possibly read. That's...if its not too much trouble?"

I remembered that I had quite a few books on world war 2 as I was interested in that type of stuff.

"Yes I do. But the only books I have are about something called "world war 2". I don't think you'de like that considering its about this massive war us humans had about 60 or 70 years ago which involved most of the world. Hence the name world war 2."

"Ohh....well war is horrible. But I would be very interested to see how you humans fight. As I do know you probably don't use magic. So what do you use?"

"Well instead of magic, we have technology."

"Such as??"

"We have guns, which is a metal object what fires something called a bullet which is a metal object what fires out of the gun so fast, it goes straight through a humans body. We use these to kill other humans in either self defense or in war. We also have other things."

"That sounds......horrible. Why would you humans want to kill one another?"

She now had a sad expression on her face.

"I hate violence and I never want to see another war like that ever. But some humans do it because they don't like eachother, they are insane or they are fighting eachother for supplies or other things."

"Oh.......well I am really happy that you do not like violence. I think its horrible. Anyway, should we go to bed now?? And if its not any trouble....could you maybe get me that book you were talking about?"

"Sure I can."

I went to get the one of the world war 2 books. I found one in the kitchen. God knows how it got there. When I got up stairs, she was already under the covers, sat up like a human would.

"Don't you feel awkward sitting like that?"

"No. Why?"

"I was just wondering because us humans sit up like that aswell. Except we don't have hooves."

"Also, I forgot to mention, could you maybe read it to me. I would normally read it and flip the pages using my magic, but my magic doesn't seem to work here."

"Sure I can."

As I took my top off, she looked at me with a confused face.

"Why do you humans were clothes all the time except from when you go to bed?"

I blushed a little as this was a bit awkward telling her why we keep our bodies hidden.

"Well......us humans don't like to walk around naked and show our.....bodies and middle parts off."

"Your middle parts?...what do you mean?"

Now my face had turned bright red. How could I tell Twilight, a pony, why we keep our bodies hidden?

"Ermmmmm......when I say middle parts I mean.....well......"

"You mean your genitalia right?"

I was a bit disturbed at how she knew what I mean't.

"Yes. How did you know that?....."

She grinned at me.

"Well we do have genitalia as well you know. Us mares have vaginas while the stallions have something called a penis which the stallion sticks in the....."

I went red raw as I knew what she was going to say so I cut her off .

"Yes I know what a penis and a vagina does Twilight, we have them as well. The males, such as me, have a penis while the females have a vagina."

She blushed really, really badly.

"Oh...well that is a bit awkward. As we are getting in bed together and we have the same genitalia even though we are different...."

"I know Twilight. But trust me, I won't try anything. I'm not like that."

She breathed in relaxation.

"Oh that's good. Thankyou for making me feel less.....awkward."

"Its fine. I'll leave my top on if you like so you don't have to see my chest?"

"No it's ok. It looks fine. Quite nice actually."

I blushed again, got into bed and started reading the book to her.

After I finished reading the book to her, she turned over to my side.

"Thankyou....that was very interesting. But it was horrible when it showed what "dead mans land" was. I was also quite horrified about how everyone was killing each other. But I really liked you reading it to me. It made me feel that I was actually wanted for once in my life."

I smiled at her while I held her hoof.

"Of course your wanted by all your friends, family and all the other ponies."

She smiled back and nuzzled me with her nose, which I guessed was their form of a kiss.

"Thankyou Alex. Goodnight."

"Goodnight Twilight."

"Please, just call me Twi."

"Ok. Night Twi."

I turned off the light and fell to sleep with a silly grin on my face. I thought to my self.....

"What will happen tomorrow?..... "
