Knockout Party
Blood Bath
Previous ChapterNext ChapterSour Sweet and Sonata spent the next two months stealing blood.
But they didn't know that with every song, they were losing more of their own blood.
With every song, they were closer to death.
But that day, Sonata chose to take everything too far...
Sour Sweet fumbled to get ready for school. She felt weak.
"Come on! School starts in ten minutes!" her mom called.
"Can I stay home? I feel like I'm dying or something!" she screamed.
Her mom walked in. "Are you ok?"
Sour Sweet looked at her scarred hand. "I don't know. I'm just really tired."
She put her cold hand on Sour Sweet's forehead. "You feel fine. I have to go to work, but I'll call Dean Cadence and tell her you won't be at
school today. You can call me if you need to."
"Ok, thanks."
She pulled at her necklace ribbon. The tie didn't move.
It glowed in her dark room.
Her phone rang.
"Hey, Sonata," she said.
"You're not coming to school."
Sour Sweet blinked. "Are you asking me?"
Sonata laughed. "No, I'm telling you."
"How did you know?"
There was a long pause. "The blood on the shirt. Shows me everything you do."
Her necklace glittered. "Come over to my house."
"Um, open your door."
Sour Sweet got out of her bed, and walked to the door. She opened it, and screamed.
Sonata was right there.
"How did you get here?" she asked.
"You really don't know how to hide a house key," Sonata told her.
"That was my mom."
Blood was rolling down Sonata's arm.
Sour Sweet pointed. "What did you do?"
*please note, about to get a little bit violent.*
"I didn't do that. I just cut my arm on a tree branch," she said.
"You don't have to be defensive. I just want to help. Come on. Just tell me."
Sonata glared at her. "Don't you understand what no means?"
"Please, tell me."
"I said no!"
She ripped a knife out, and pushed Sour Sweet into the wall. She stabbed her in the side.
"Get off!" Sour Sweet screamed.
"Shut up!"
Tears were pouring from her eyes.
Blood gushed from Sour Sweet's side.
Sonata pulled the knife back, and threw it at Sour Sweet's neck. She moved, and the blade pierced the wall.
Sour Sweet fell. She was choking on blood. Everything started to turn black, and she fainted.
Her pulse slowed.
Sonata started to sing some notes.
"Down, down deep in a blood bath,
Swallowed by my wrath
Now your blood will be mine
But you can still be fine."
Her necklace pulled in all the blood that had flowed out of Sour Sweet's side.
She ran out of the house.
Sour Sweet lay on the floor until her mom got home.
*note, her mom's name is Grace Nectar*
Grace gasped. She ran to her daughter's body. "Sweetie? Sweetie!" she screamed.
She ran out to her husband.
"Tyler!" she screamed.
He looked at her.
She was shaking. "It's Sweetie! I think she's dead!"
They ran back to her room.
"I just came in, and she was on the floor!" she cried.
They heard sirens.
He hugged her. "The ambulance is here."
The people loaded her on a stretcher, and put it up in the ambulance.
"She'll be ok, Grace."
She nodded. "I hope."
