The Horn 6- Season 1
Forgive us.

Both Twilight and Moondancer looked over the list of ponies they had to apologize on Celestia's behalf, but were fairly surprised at how small the list was: A farmer pony named 'Applejack', a weather pegasus pony named 'Rainbow Dash', a unicorn named 'Rarity', another pegasus called 'Fluttershy', and finally, another earth pony named Pinkie Pie.
"Is it me," Moondancer commented "or do all of these names state the ponies' personalities and looks?"
"What do you mean?" Twilight asked
"It's just something on my mind for a while. It seems that everypony has a name that states their personality and destiny. I'm just asking this; are we truly free?"
Out in space, again, Celestia's mother heard this and saw the two unicorns walking next to each other, heading to Sweet Apple Acres.
"...Eh, I guess you have a point there." she shrugged, levitating a bowl of popcorn and started to eat it. "I do want to see what this universe is up to, though. Last universe's season finale was great, so I might as well watch this until the next season."
Both Twilight and Moondancer approached the farm, but saw that it was empty.
"Think they're away?" Moondancer asked
"Not very likely." Twilight replied "From what I've read, farmers are very territorial over their property, so don't touch anything that will set them off."
~CRUNCH!!!~
Twilight turned around to see Moondancer took a bite from one of the apples.
"Oh Sweet Celestia!" Moondancer moaned "These are the best apples in all of-"
"MOONDACNER!!!" Twilight yelled. The ground shook ah a cloud of dust surrounded the two mares. The dust soon cleared, and a bunch of earth ponies surrounded them. Moondancer and Twilight stood tail-to-tail.
"What do we do, Twilight?"
"Whatever we do, don't provoke them any further." She cleared her throat "Who are you?" A lone, orange mare with a blonde mane in a ponytail, freckles on her face, and wore a stetson approached them.
"The Name's Applejack," she answered "and we are the Farmers Who Say... 'Neigh'!"
"...What? the farners Who Say 'neigh'?"
"The same!"
"And... what are all of you, exactly?"
"We are the keepers of the sacred words: Neigh, Apple, and Howdy!" A collection of 'Howdy's' were heard around them.
"Well... my name is Twilight Sparkle, and this is my friend, Moondancer."
"...Hi" Moondancer replied meekly. Applejack gave a curious look.
"Ya'll are friends?" she asked "I though the two of you were sis's or related."
"I get the feeling we're going to get this a lot." Twilight spoke to Moondancer, then turned to Applejack & the other farmers. "We're both here to apologize on Celestia's behalf."
"Oh! And what took Celestia so long to not come and meet our town? Are them rumors true about her cake habits?"
"No, you see-"
"Eh, nevermind. Ah guess we can accept Celestia's apology."
"Oh good. Now, we'll be on our way to-"
"Not so fast! The farmers Who Say 'neigh' demand a sacrifice!"
"But Farmers of Neigh," Moondancer spoke "we are but simple mares who saved Equestria recently from the terrors of Nightmare-"
"NEIGH!!!" All the farmers around yelled 'Neigh' over and over, causing Twilight and Moondancer to fall over in pain. Even the sound caused Celetia's mother to cover her ears and wince in pain. "We shall say 'neigh' again to you if you do not follow us."
"Well, what is it you want?" Twilight asked
"We want... a shrubbery!" A dramatic chord was heard.
"A what?"
"And where did that come from?" Moondancer asked. At that moment, all the farmemrs yelled 'Neigh' again, causing them to fall in pain again.
"Ow! Please, please! No more! We will find you a shrubbery!"
"Ya'll must return here with a shrubbery or else ya'll never get back to Celestia."
"O Knights of Neighi, you are just and fair, and we will return with a shrubbery."
"One that looks nice."
"Of course.
"And not too expensive."
"Yes.
"Now git!" Twilight ran out of the farm. Moondancer, however, stood. "What do ya'll want?" Without saying anything, her horn glowed, and a shrubbery appeared in front of A.J.
"There you go." She replied "One shrubbery; nice looking and not too expensive." Applejack looked at it carefully, then shrugged.
"Eh, good enough. Alright ya'll, drop the act." All the ponies around fell to the floor from exhaustion.
"...This was an act?"
"Kinda. If ya'll want to look tough, it's best to out this on. Plus, that dramatic cord may be from Pinkie herself. Welcome to Ponyville, you two love birds."
"...How did you-?"
"Ah can tell in yer eyes. Your friend, not so much, but give it time." Moondancer smiled and nodded.
"Thank you."
"No problem. Now get out before mah family gets up." Moondancer ran away from the family.
"Twilight! Wait up!!!"
Twilight and Moondancer walked to the side, seeing a lot more clouds around.
"Strange," Twilight commented "I thought the sky would've remained clear."
"Don't clouds usually come back?" Moondancer asked
"Not like this. Cloudsale isn't above us yet, so the clouds can't come in this early." Loud snoring could be heard above.
"Who is that?"
"It's probably the one in charge of clearing the sky; Rainbow Dash. How are we going to find her?"
"Hm... I think I have the thing." Moondancer levitated a rock and tossed it into the clouds.
"...Ow!" A raspy voice yelled "Who did that!?" Popping out of the clouds, a cyan pegasus with a rainbow mane popped out. "Did you throw this at me?"
"No." they both spoke in unison. She gave them both a stern look.
"Pardon us for ruining your nap," Twilight spoke "but I am Twilight Sparkle."
"Moondancer." Moondancer added
"And we're both here on Celestia's behalf to apologize for missing out on the Summer Sunset celebration."
"...Apologize?" Rainbow Dash asked. She flapped her wings and landed in front of the two. "What do you mean? The celebration is in a few hours."
"...You... didn't notice anything different?" Twilight asked
"How has anything changed? I was just in the middle of my daily afternoon nap. Heh, I got a few more hours before I gotta clear these clouds for the celebration tonight." The two unicorns looked at each other, trying to hide their laughter, but snickered. "What? What's so funny!?"
"Um... how do I put this? Uh-"
"You slept through the whole day away!" Moondancer interrupted, bursting into laughter. Twilight joined, falling to the floor and laughing.
"...What!?" Rainbow Dash asked in shock. "But-but it was just a small nap."
"Your 'nap' lasted much longer than you thought!"
"Yeah!" Twilight added "You slept through everything!"
"I-I did!?" She asked again. She flapped her wings and began to clear the clouds, spewing profanity out of her mouth and hoped that she wouldn't be fired. It took her exactly one minute to clear the sky, and even then, she landed, sweating and breathing hard "I... gotta... stay... awake."
"You should." Moondancer replied bluntly. "With you sleeping like that, you'll probably never make it into some flight team like the Wonderbolts."
"...I guess you're right."
"And don't worry," Twilight reassured. "We won't tell anypony about this."
"...Thank you. I-I won't do that again." She fell to the floor and slept.
"Huh." Moondancer commented "She seems weird."
"I just hope the others aren't as weird." Twilight added.
Twilight jinxed it. Town hall was empty, and the other unicorn they had to go to, Rarity, was in her boutique, which looked liked a carousel. They were immediately meet by a white unicorn with a very fancy looking, blue-purple mane.
"Oh my word!" she spoke "I've never seen you two before! New here?"
"Very new." Moondancer replied
"We came here from Canterlot to-" Twilight spoke
"CANTERLOT!?!?!?" Rarity yelled, bringing them both to her with her magic. "I must simply know you both! Oh look at you, what are you wearing!?"
"Me?" Moondancer asked "I'm just wearing this sweater I got from-"
"Oh hush! You can look so much better along with your sister."
"But we're not related." Twilight spoke. Rarity blinked.
"You're... not sisters? Then why do you-?"
"You don't want to know."
"...oh-hohoho!!! I see why!" Twilight blushed
"No! It's not like-"
"We're taking this slowly," Moondancer spoke for the embarrassed Twilight "And, if it works out, then we'll take another step ahead."
"Ah! Well, love works in weird ways." Rarity inquired "And whatever happens, I hope you two find something that works together. Now, where was I?" Without saying anything to each other, both unicorns knew what to say.
"We were here on Celestia's behalf to apologize for not appearing at the Summer-Sunset celebration." Twilight spoke.
"Celestia wanted to come, but complications happened." Moondancer added
"She's certain you worked hard to make the place look presentable for royalty."
"And she hopes to make it up to you in one way or another."
"...Oh." Rarity said "Well... truth be told... I didn't work that hard. It just came to me naturally. But, at least I know why. Tell you what, next time you come over here, you both get a dress, free of charge." Both Twilight and Moondancer nodded.
"Thank you, Rarity," Twilight replied "I'm certain that we'll get a dress soon." They both turned around and prepared to leave.
"Oh! That's what I forgot! Moondancer~!"
"RUN!!!" Moondancer yelled. They both ran for their lives out of the shop.
From what the local town ponies said, Fluttershy was in her cottage, most likely tending to her animals. Twilight and Moondancer approached the cottage, seeing all of the animals around that, though would hunt or run away from each other, seemed to live in harmony. Twilight knocked on the door to Fluttershy's home, all the while Moondancer tried to wave the animals away.
"Go away!" Moondancer waved her hoof at the small animals around her. "Shoo! Shoo!"
"I don't that's going to help." Twilight commented. The door opened and a butter yellow pegasus with a long, pink mane answered the door.
"Um... hello." she sheepishly spoke. "Um... who are you two?"
"Greetings!" Twilight introduced herself. The fluttershy squeaked and ducked, shivering in fear. "Oh my! I'm so sorry. Who are you?"
"Um... I'm... Flutterhy."
"What was that?"
"...I'm Fluttershy."
"Didn't quite catch that." The pegasus whimpered. "...Okay then. I... I guess I'll leave you to your animals." Twilight turned around, only to see that Moondacner was covered with animals all over her, covering every part of her but her face.
"Can we go now?" Moondancer asked bluntly. "I think the animals think of me as their mother."
"I can help." the low voice of Fluttershy spoke. A low whistle was needed to get all the animals off of Moondancer and onto Fluttershy instead. Moondancer most of the hairs & feathers off of her, thought some stayed attached to her and some of the animals left some surprises on her.
"Ugh! Disgusting!!! I'm gonna have to wash this tonight, you know that!?"
"Oh, I'm sorry. They didn't mean it, did you little guys?" Moondancer groaned and walked away.
"I'm sorry for my friend," Twilight spoke "I guess animals aren't her forte."
"Not a problem. What were you here for?"
"Oh! We came along on Celestia's behalf to apologize for her not coming on the Summer Sunset celebration, though I'm not sure what you were suppose to do... Fluttershy."
"Oh, it's okay. My birds weren't ready, either way, so no real harm was done. I... I hope we can... hang out, some time?"
"...Maybe."
"Oh... that's okay." she went back in her house and shut the door quietly.
"Are you coming!?" Moondancer yelled.
"I'm coming!" Twilight yelled back "Sheesh, try to be patient next time!"
It was getting late and the two mares returned to their library. Moondancer took her coat off and grumbled under her breath on how badly she wanted to beat the animals until they were unconscious. Twilight told Moondancer to calm down; she was going to wash her coat tonight and they'll apologize to Pinkie Pie tomorrow. This calmed Moondancer greatly, though she wanted to fire a turtle out of a canon for some weird reason. They entered their house, seeing the place was nearly pitch black.
"Ugh! Where's spike!?" Twilight asked "Spike! Are you here!?"
"Maybe... he's sleeping?" Moondancer suggested.
"He can't be asleep now, Moondancer. He's suppose to help unload our stuff."
"Ah, let him have his sleep. He's worked on his own, remember?"
"... I guess you're right. Want to help me set the place up?"
"I was thinking of... other things we can do."
"Other things? Moondancer, what are you-?" She froze and stared at Moondancer. Moondancer moved her eyebrows seductively. "MOONDANCER!!!"
"Come on! Spike's asleep, and it's just you, me, and-" the lights turned on, revealing multiple ponies inside the house! Both Moondancer and Twilight screamed their heads off, then fell to the floor, unconscious. Spike, their friends from Canterlot, and a pink pony with a darker colored, poofy mane & tail approached them.
"Think we over did it?" Minuette asked
"I don't think so," Lemonhearts replied "I think we really just caught them off guard."
"I guess that was kinda mean of us." Twinkleshine commented
"Well, at least we stopped them." Spike commented, poking Twilight with a stick.
"So~... do we party?" Lyra asked the pink pony.
"... We'll set them to bed, THEN we'll par-tay!!!" she answered. The crowd cheered as the Pink Pony placed them both in their room, on the same bed inside. Immediately, Moondacer placed her right foreleg around Twilight. "Aw, you're both so adorable!"
Author's Note
Yes, there'll be two running gags for this: Ponies assuming that Moondancer & Twilight are sisters, and Celestia's mother, Lauren Faust, commentating every now and then with what is the magical form of Netflix.
