Twilight was in her castle that stood tall and shined in Ponyville. She was in her room laying down on her bed while Spike was beside the bed, on a basket with a soft cusion, a blanket, and a pillow. He snored loudly but Twilight was used to it. It was 6:00 In the morning, Spike woke up immediately as he puked a letter. Spike didn't wanna wake Twilight, but he saw on the letter a red ribbon with Celestias's cutie mark. So he did wake Twilight up. Twilight got up, hardly awake with her eyes just a little open. She was horrible! Her mane was curly, her eyes were red, and she stayed up all night studiying and reading books! Twilight groaned, "What Spike?" Spike said in reply "Twilight! I am sorry to wake you up butI have a letter from Celestia! Twilight got the letter with her lavender magic and she unwrapped the bow. The letter said "Twilight, my dearest student. Since you are a princess now you need a royal guard at your side and aid protecting you!" Twilight said to herself "A royal gaurd? Pfft. I dont need th-" Spike and Twilight herd a knock on her door. She opened it with her magic. A pony with gaurd armor puted his hoof on his head. "Princess Twilight!" He said as it was a lightish and darkish tone. "Princess Celestia sent me here so I could protect you." Twilight replied without looking at him "Well, I didn't think Celestia would sent a gaurd here." Twilight took a first look at him. He had orange fur and a mane that was blue. He had golden armor with his mane sticking out. It was Flash sentry! Flash Sentry would put his hoof down. "Oh uhh." Twilight said nervously as she said "Can you give me a momment?" Flash would nod a yes. Twilight would run up to her room and comb her mane. She looked perfectly beautiful as she said "Was that really Flash Sentry? I dont know!" Spike would wave a hi to Flash as Flash gave a smile as he closed the door and walked in the castle. Twilight would get out of her room looking perfect walking down. Flash said "I dont really know what to do right now, but I will listen to your commands your highness." Twilight said with a slight blush on her cheeks but she wasn't sure she was Flash. "You may call me Twilight." Flash replied. "I can't Princess. It is my duty to respect a princess." Twilight replied "Alright then." But Flash stared deeply into Twilight's eyes and saw her sparkle. He thought that she was a beautiful mare just watching her silky mane, and her purple fur. But he shoke his head to forget his thoughts. "Hey there, is your name Flash Sentry?" Twilight asked. " Yes, how do you know?" Twilight said "Celestia told me. As she lied. "Alright. I think you should go to sleep Princess." Twilight nodded as she went into her room. Flash stood in front of her door to her room. Twilight was not taking rest but Spike was already asleep. Twilight just studied all night when she was moaning cause she could not get some rest. Flash heard her moaning as Flash went into her room. "Princess?" Flash said. Twilight smiled as her eye was red "Yes? I am busy studying." Twilight said as Flash vlosed the book with his hoof. "Twilight, why dont you get rest?" He said as Twilight rejected. "But you have to. I have to do my duties to keep you safe with no medical problems." Twilight blushed but she would cover them with her hooves as Flash would not spot them. "Alright." Twilight said as Flash smiled. Flash exited the room and gaurded the room.

Flash ran in front of her door and opend it to see if it was an enemy, Twilight said "Oh Flash, you really are the gentlecolt." Flash said "Thank you Princess, but it's my duty to show respect to royalty." As Flash opend the door he saw 5 ponies. One with a rainbow-colored mane, and one with a pink one that was curled, one soft pink silky mane, a pony with freckles and a beautiful pony with a curled mane and spwhite fur. Why yes, it is the mane 6! (Err, I mean Mane 5.) Twilight was smiling at them as she waved. Rarity asked "Who is this gaurd?" Twilight said "He i-" Pinkie Pie ran infront of Twilight and said "He is a royal gaurd from Canterlot that Celestia sended to gaurd Twilight and he is the one Twilight met at the hand world that played guitar and had a crush on Twilight!" Flash did not pay attention to what Pinkie said but Twilight's jaw dropped. Rarity, Apple Jack, Rainbow Dash said "That is ridiculous!" Twilight said "How did you know that?" Pinkie said "Just a hunch." Flash Sentry looked around Twilight's castle and he walked away into a hallway as he was far from the Mane 6. Rarity said "He is your crush right?" Twilight said "No! I mean yes! I dont know! I dont even knoe if he has feelings for me!" Rarity smiled as Applejack said "Well there sugarcube, ya'll gotta go to sugarcube cornor." Applejack said to the other 4. The 5 said Bye to Twilight as Twilight said goodbye. Flash walked into the room Twilight was in. Twilight wasn't looking, aswell as Flash. Twilight sat down as Flash looked into the painting that were into the room and he bumped into Twilight once again! They both fell and Flash was on top of Twilight and Twilight was laying down under Flash's four hooves, but Flash helped her up. They both faced away cause there faces were red as a tomato. Twilight said "Woops! We bumped again!" Flash smiled and said "It is cute when w-" He shook his head and said in his thoughts you cant fall in love with a princess! Flash said "There you are anyways. I looked for you as I got lost in you're castle." Twilight smiled and she didn't hear anything cause Flash talked to fast, and walked while Flash followed.

He whisperd to himself "She looks so perfect even when she is asleep." Spike peeked a eye open while Flash did'nt notice. Spike herd everything Flash said. But Flash went closer tiphooving to. Twilight. Spike peeked cause he wasn't spotted. Flash pecked Twilight's forehead with his muzzle. Twilight didn't notice cause she was deep asleep. But Spike was shocked! Flash went out of her room quietly shuting the door and gaurding her, like always. It was 12:00. 7 Hours Later Twilight woke up with a bright smile. Her mane was not ruined, and the bright sun was up. Spike was waiting for her to wake up and he shouted "TWILIGHT! TWILIGHT!" Twilight said "Yes?" Spike replied "Did you feel what happend last night?" Twilight "No?!" Spike said "Alright....." Twilight went out her room and saw flash sitting down bowing his head, snoring with his eyes closed. Twilight forgot about Flash outside his door. "Let me try my magic!" Said Twilight. Twilight used her magic to levitate Flash to ththe guest room, and Twilight was tired because his armor was heavy! Twilight set him on the Guest's Room Bed. Twilight looked at Flash in a deep sleep and she pecked Flash's cheek with her muzzle. Flash didn't feel it cause he was in a deep sleep. Twilight shuted the door of the guest room, and she made breakfast and spike ate gems, as twilight ate hay cereal. Flash woke up on the bed, shocked. "Did I teleport?" Flash said. Anyways he got up and went to Twilight's kitchen. Twilight smiled at Flash while Spike was looking a raise on his eyebrow after what Flash did last night. Flash smiled back. Twilight gave Flash a hay salad, as Flash thanked Twilight. Neither of them wanted ti confess their feelings for each other, since they both think they dont like one another.

She said with a grin. Flash looked at her room with alot of books and he saw her crown. Flash wanted to ask why she didn't wear it, but she was asleep, and didn't want to inturupt her. Twilight woke up without Flash noticing and he saw that he was tired. Twilight said surprisingly "Flash, you look tired, would you wanna sleep aside me?" Flash was shocked as his cheeks was red as a cherry, but he wanted to deny it, but he seemed tired. Flash said "Alright, just a few hour rest." They both giggled ad Flash took off his armor and walked to the bed, he layed down while Twilight was smiling, and blushing. Flash was still awake and Twilight was too, but Twilight put her hooves and hugged Flash Sentry. Flash was blushing and Twilight was too. In his thoughts he said "Am I really dreaming? I cant date a Princess!but they went asleep while Spike did not notice them two. (BTW, they did not make out.) It was 1:00, as the hours passed it was 10:00 as Spike was still asleep and Flash and Twilight were awake. Twilight put her head on Flash's chest. "Uhh, Princess?" Flash said "Yes Flash?" Flash would have mixed emotions. "I wanted to s-" Twilight's hoof coverd Flash's mouth. "I need to say something." Said Twilight as Flash nodded. "Well, you know... I think it is stupid from the start that Celestia sent a gaurd here.... But I-I-think I've fallen in love with you." Twilight felt good as she let her expression out. Flash was supprised and told her "I do too Twilight, but we cant be together." Twilight got teary eyes as Flash said "My duty here is too protect you, not to date you.."Even Flash was teary. Twight said "I know." As Twilight got tears from her eyes. "Maybe someday my Flashy?" Flash responded "Yes, I promise my Twily." They both got out of Twilight's bed as Flash putted his armor on and they both walked outside. Spike got out of his bed and they all ate breakfast, just as ome happy family.

Twilight took a peek outside her door and saw Flash humming and Twilight saw bags under his eyes. His eyes were red. Twilight said "Hey, you seem tired." Flash looked up and said to her "Duties Princess." Twilight said "Alright." Twilight realized he needed rest. "Flash Sentry, you need rest!" Twilight would point her hooves to a guest room. Flash said "I cant Princess. I need to gaurd you." Twilight would do puppy eyes as Flash stared into her eyes. Twilight said "Pretty please?" Flash replied to her and said "Fine. And just they are a Princess's commands." But Flash whisperd to himself. "And just because your cute." Twilight didn't hear it but she asked "What did you say?" Flash responded "Nothing." He walked to the guest room as he tooked off his armor as he layed down on the bed sleeping. Twilight would take a peek in the guest room and see his mane and his orange fur. Twilight didn't knew she was in love, nor she didn't know what she was feeling. Twilight went back to sleep, as Flash woke up at 6:00. He said in his thoughts "I cant be loving a Princess." He said putting on his armor walking up to Twiliht's Door to her room, gaurding her. Twilight was still asleep as she had dreams about her and Flash. She woke up and fixed her mane as she walked out her door closing it as she would smile at Flash and say "Hi!" and Flash responded "Good Morning Princess." Spike woke up and went down the kitchen eating a bowl of gems. "Mmm!" Spike would say. Twilight would grab a box of hay cereal as she poured them in a bowl, with milk and utensils. She used her magic to eat and she eated fastly! Flash smiled as Twilight realised. "I forgot your food!" Flash had a rumbling stomach but he said "Uhh, I dont need food right now," "Oh really?" Twilight said as she grabbed out a box of hay burgers. Flash said "Well, I cant resist the food, so I will take one I guess." As Flash grabbed a hay burger, he struggled as he used only his hoof. Twilight used her magic to levitate the food as she hoverd it infrount of Flash. Flash would take a smile. Spike would go back to his room as he had a big belly.
