The crowed cheered as the two walked off stage after bowing to them. Before the couple got to their table, David quickly stopped Aiden.

"Oh," David replied,"Wait, are you sure that today isn't just a normal day?"
"Nope," Aiden replied,"Pretty sure of what it is. I even looked at the calendar." David sighed. He turned over, and pretended to be sleeping. "Oh come on sleepy head! Lets get ready. I have a big day planned ahead of us. I was thinking of going out to a restaurant, have some wine, go out for a walk, and at the end of the day, they're having a dance in the town hall. I wanted to take you there."
"Well, wake me up when that dance is on another day." David said.

"You can save me that waltz for another day." David replied.

David sighed heavily. "I knew this day would come. I couldn't stop it even if I tried," David said. He finally turned around to face his lover, and without hesitation said these words, "I hate Valentine's Day."

The couple walked over to the town hall for the dance. Aiden wore a black suit, and a purple tie. David wore a pink dress, and a pair of high heels. His hair was done to part both ways on his head. "I would've rather spent time with you on a different day!" David shouted,"It would've been better than this God forbidden day!" David began to tear up. His tears made the make-up into black streaks of liquid,"Look, I love you,ok? I always will. And, if you love me back... just... just... FOR THIS ONE DAY, LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!" David shouted as he turned his back and started to run. He sobbed so loud you could hear him far away. Aiden wanted to go after him, but he decided not to. He just walked along the walkway. He stopped by a flower shop and bought a bouquet of roses. He didn't know where David went, so he decided to head home, and try to call him to see where he went. But once he opened the door, there was a sound of sobbing upstairs.
Aiden walked up the stair, and opened the bedroom door. The room was completely dark, the only light from the hallway. David laid on the bed, sobbing.
"David?" Aiden called," Look, I'm sorry, ok? I shouldn't have forced you to enjoy a day you've had a past with. I should've left you alone."
"No," David replied,"I should be the sorry one. I should've been more grateful. So many others, ignoring me on this day. I should've been happy my own fiance decided to be different. I'm sorry honey." Aiden set the roses down, and crawled into the bed with David. He held him close, and tried to comfort him (it worked). He kissed his cheek, and told him it'd be ok.
"How about this?" Aiden asked," If you decide to be in bed all day next year, I'll be here with you." Aiden said as he handed David the roses.
David sniffed the roses and sighed with content. "Thank you Aiden. Maybe I'll reconsider, but... it may take some guts." David looked at the roses,"They're beautiful."
"Just like you." Aiden replied. David wiped his tears, and held Aiden close, while laying down, snuggling his lover.
The last thing David though before drifting off was,"Best Valentine's Day ever."

PROLOGUE
"Oh c'mon guys!" Aiden told them,"Let him join. I promise he won't be a problem. He's a great stallion. He can play piano, he can sing pretty good. He'll be perfect!"
"I'm not sure," a stallion replied,"I mean we do need a piano player. And you're giving a suggestion, so..."
"Well, how about we give him a chance?" Another stallion said,"It wouldn't hurt. We could audition him."
"Yeah!" A third stallion shouted,"We could use another member."
"Ok," The first stallion said,"I'll give him a shot. Bring him in sometime this week while we practice, and I'll give him a shot."
"Thank you!" Aiden replied,"I promise you won't be disappointed."

The next day, the couple laid in bed early the next morning. Aiden woke up before David did, and looked at him with passion.
"He looks so cute when he's asleep." He whispered to himself. He kissed David's lips softly. This woke him up, and his only reaction was to kiss him back. "Enjoy my wake up call, baby?" Aiden asked him.
David laughed softly,"Yeah, I did." He replied with a tired voice. He got up, and got himself ready. He had to go to work that day at the restaurant. After eating breakfast, and spending the morning with his fiance, he got ready to leave. He kissed his fiance good-bye, and walked out the door.
"Come back safely," Aiden told him.
"I will," David replied,"See you in a little bit babe." He walked off, waving, and blowing kisses.

David sat down at his piano as the crowd cheered him on. He sat down, and tested the microphone.
"Hello everypony. How are you today?" The crowd shouted their responses to David. David smiled,"Alright. I'm going to do a number here. This song is known for having an unknown meaning, as well as being one of the greatest songs by the band it came from. Tjis song I'm going to do for you is Strawberry Fields Forever."

David reached for the key to the door. He opened the door, and paused when he heard the sound of music coming from the basement. He started his way down to the basement. He opened the door, and heard a loud blast of music. It wasn't bad, but there were some things David noticed could be fixed. But then he heard a familiar voice. The voice of his own darling, Aiden. He went in further, and saw Aiden singing into a microphone, and a few other stallions playing instruments. David looked around at them. He called out, and that's when everypony stopped. Aiden looked at David, and was a little shocked, yet relieved.
"Oh, David!" Aiden said,"I didn't know you were coming home this early."
"Yeah, they let me off early." David replied,"Who are these ponies?"
"Oh, let me introduce them to you," Aiden replied,"This is Star Gaze," Aiden said pointing to a blue stallion with a blue, sparkling mane,"Pepper," pointing to a yellow stallion with an orange mane,"And Lightning Strike," pointing to a green stallion with a yellow mane in a lightning type of style. David bowed to them as a greeting.
"I didn't know you were part of a band, Aiden!" David said excitedly.
Aiden blushed,"Surprise," he said nervously.
"Well, Aiden has told us about you," Lightning Strike said,"Says you're good at playing the piano. Well, we want you to audition. Perhaps we can allow you to join us."
"Sure, it'd be an honor,"David replied, sitting at a keyboard, setting it to "Grand Piano" mode. "This song I have been practicing on. It was a song written for that horror game, Five Nights At Freddy's. Here we go... 1, 2, 3, 4."

The others said the best they could. He played well, and the others were convinced. David bowed with admiration.
"Thank you guys." David said with a blush.
"Well, Aiden, I'm convinced," Lightning said,"I think we should let him join. He'll help us win by a landslide."
"Win?" David asked in confusion.
"Yep, win." Lightning replied,"You see, we want to make it big. And the perfect way to become that big, is we want to win the upcoming 'Battle Of The Rock Bands' competition. It's next week, so we should start practicing."
"Great Idea," Star Gaze said in agreement..
"Well, alright. Where's the sheet music?" David asked for. The others looked in confusion, including Aiden.
"What do you mean?" Pepper asked.
"You know, music. On paper? With notes?" David asked,"You guys seriously don't know what I'm talking about." The others shook their heads no. "C'mon, Sgt. Pepper, you've gotta know." Pepper looked at him with confusion,"You've got to be kidding!"
Audience: THEY MUST BE!!
"You bet," David replied. The others sat wondering, except for Aiden, who knew who David was actually talking to.
"Well, we'd better get started. David, play me a tune," Star Gaze said. David played a few notes before he realized what they were playing.

The band stopped, and panted at the ultimate energy that went through them,"I think we're ready." Lightning said.

After a week, the band went to the concert hall where the contest was taking place. The others waited for David and Aiden, who haven't arrived yet (obviously). After about an hour, the two finally arrived. Aiden wore a red suit, with a white undershirt. He also wore a purple tie. David wore a pink, sparkling shirt. His hair was combed back, and in it was a pink rose. The band practiced for a while. Afterwords they complemented on each others' uniforms. The others wore mostly gold, and sparkles. As they were lining up waiting for their turn to show what they can do, Lightning stopped David for a second.
"What is it?" David asked.
"Well, since we're allowing you to sing lead on the actual competition, I wanted to ask you a favor."
"Well, what is it?" David asked.
"Well, I want you to dedicate a song to Aiden for me. You see, I kinda... have a crush on him." Lightning told him.
David looked at him with surprise," Hasn't he told you? Me and him are engaged."
"What?! He hasn't told me. I don't think he told the whole band yet..." Lightning looked down with a sad face,"Never mind."
"Hey, how about this," David began,"I'm dedicating two songs to him, but the first one I'll include you. Ok?"
"Ok, sure!" Lightning said. The others went out and took their places on stage.
"So, thank you for having us tonight," Star Gaze told the judges,"This song we're about to play for you is one that many may know by heart. Here we go."

A while passed and the band listened to the other contestants, getting nervous about how well the others sounded. They were called by the gopher of backstage. They walked out on stage. Sweat fell from them, except David. He was ready. He had practiced his lines, chords, you name it. He even tuned his piano. He sat down as the rest of the band took their place.
"Well, thank you for having us,"David spoke into the mic,"These two songs are love songs. They were picked carefully. And, well, if you must know, I want to dedicate these two songs to my fiance who's in the band as well, Aiden Crawford." The crowd cheered as Aiden blushed,"But this first song is from me, and Lightning. I love you Aiden, and thanks for giving me a chance."

The crowd cheers as the music dies off. The band smiled as they were surprised that made no problem. They were all nervous they'd mess up at least twice, but no. None of them messed up at all. David gave them a look that said "Good job you guys" and sat down again.

The crowd cheered as the band went offstage. Before David could relax, Aiden hugged him close and tight. He kissed his cheek, until he held David's face, and kissed him on the lips. The others watching said "Aww", even so did Lightning without envy.

After all the bands went out, the judges had come to the decision. The audience was anticipating on who won.
"In third place," Said the mare,"Is The wonderful Pretty Princesses!" The crowd gave a cheer,"Now, the last two, are The Gold Wings, and The Crawlers. The grand prize goes to:" There was a long, quiet pause,"The Crawlers!!" Little of the crowd cheered, but most of them booed at the winning band. The Gold Wings and The Crawlers took their awards.\
"Well, second place isn't bad, is it?" David asked.
"It isn't," Star Gaze replied,"But we could've done better." The band immediately went silent when they heard a sound outside (and in the audience) they were shouting a chant-like saying and stomping their hooves.
"Gold Wings!" They shouted,"Gold Wings! Gold Wings! Gold Wings!"
Audience: GOLD WINGS! GOLD WINGS!
"They love us." Aiden said in excitement,"We have to give them an encore!" The band went out to the stage and the crowd immediately cheered loudly. The band bowed and took their places.

"Great job you guys," David said as he handed Pepper a copy of Stg. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band,"I love you all." They all went for a hug.
"And I love you David," Aiden said kissing his lips again.

David is a yellow stallion with John Travolta like hair. His cutie mark is a NES controller to show his love for Nintendo. He has two friends and a family. But, he feels he's missing something. He wants somepony to call his own. You may think, "Well, he has a family and friends. Why would he want more?" Well, you see... his friends live far from him, and they can't visit him every moment in life. And David hates his family. They're mean to him, and his parent aren't proud of what he does. That's where Aiden Crawford comes in. He's an alicorn. He is orange with red, and blue in his hair. His cutie-mark is a mixing bowl with a spoon, which is why friends call him"Toffee". Aiden lives alone, but he lives close to his parents. He loves them, unlike David. One day, the two,coincidentally, go to a coffee shop. Aiden sits down at a table, and opens his laptop. He opens "Minecraft" and plays. David just ordered a hot green tea. As he was walking to a table, David trips, and... spaghetti falls out his pockets (Nah! Just kidding), he drops his tea. Aiden goes to his assist.
"Are you okay?" Aiden asked. He helped David to his feet.
"Yeah, unless I was suffering third-degree burns. I have first." David replied. He looked around. Aiden offered to pay for another. After this, they both sat down at the table Aiden was first sitting at. David looked at what Aiden was doing.
"You play Minecraft," David asked. Aiden nodded. "Have you found Jolly Ranchers yet?"
"No" Aiden replied, confused. "What are Jolly Ranchers?"
"Oh, sorry," David replied. "Jolly Ranchers are what I call diamonds. They have a resemblance." Aiden giggled. He looked at David's right ear. It had a pearl earring.
"I like your earring," Aiden told him," It's cute."
"Oh. Thanks," David replied, "It was a gift from my mother. The only one I love in my family. Who says it's a wedding gift?" David laughed.
"Well," Aiden began, "do you want to... go out to eat sometime. It doesn't have to be a 'date', just to hang out. You know?"
"I'd love that," David replied, "Here's my address. Meet me at my house at 8:00, and don't be late. I get dressed pretty quickly." David handed Aiden the paper, and left. Little did either of them know... they both had a crush on each other. :)

Aiden left his house at 7:30 and arrived at David's house at 7:59. He knocked on David's door, and David answered immediately.
"Oh, hey Aiden. I knew you'd show on time." David told him. They walked to Aiden's car, and they entered. They drove to an Italian restaurant, and they sat down.
"This place looks nice." Aiden told David. There was a piano player on the stage.
"This place is the place I get my money," David, replied, "I do play piano." The waiter came and asked them what they would like to drink.
"Vodka, please" They said at the same time. They got very excited, and then calmed down. The waiter came back with the bottle of Skyy vodka, and served it in their glasses. The manager came to their table, and told David he was on in five minutes.
"Do you have any requests?" David asked Aiden. "
"Yes. Do you know Can you feel the love tonight?" Aiden requested. David nodded, and left to the stage. He sat down and played his first song.

"Okay, I want to give a shout out to a good friend of mine." He told the audience,"He requested this song, and I'm gonna play it for him. Because he's made me happy, like I wanted for many years." He then played the song:

. He then started to get off the stage, and was greeted by Aiden. Aiden ran up to David, and wrapped him around his hooves.
"That... was... BEAUTIFUL!" He told him. He then kissed him on the lips. David blushed, but then closed his eyes, and got into the kiss. "I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me." He looked away.
"Well," David replied," I fell in love with you too. Do you..." David blushes" do you want to be my special somepony?"
"I'd love to." Aiden said with a smile. They then kissed again. This time open mouth. Aiden drove David home, and gave him a quick kiss.
"We should do this again sometime," David told him, "Maybe a sleepover at your house?"
"Yes," Aiden replied. David walked to his front door, and blew Aiden a kiss. He caught it, and blew another one back, and left.
