Chapter 4

"Why do we have to share the showers?" asked Storm with wide eyes looking into the bathroom as Rainbow shrugged.

"Lighting Streak broke the showers last week  and it's still not fixed in the colts bathroom, it's been kinda awkward even though we don't wear any clothes... besides I can see your father." smirked Rainbow as Storm looked at her blankly.

"Uhm can you not say that in front of me?" asked Storm.

"Wha- oh uhm right." mumbled Rainbow rubbing a hoof behind her neck before going into the bathrooms.

"Huh your mums nice when she isn't in commander mode..." mumbled Night.

"Yeah! I like her!" exclaimed Fury.

"Uhm you heard the slightest bit of her and you two say that..." mumbled Flaring as they both shrugged and walked in the bathroom.

"Whoa... this IS gonna be awkward." said Storm seeing the showers was obviously separated with mares on one side and the stallions on the other.

"What's up with this? Eh? This is luxury." sighed a voice behind them as they turned around.

The mare behind them had a light blue coat, light blue eyes with a white and yellow mane, drooling onto the floor looking past them.

"Ace! That's rude I mean lik- Oh uhm sorry about Ace..." mumbled a light red mare stopping as she saw the other 4 looking at her.

"It's fine Whirling." smiled Flaring.

"A-anyway uhm come one Ace..." said Whirling quietly tugging on Ace's cadet costume whilst Ace was just ignoring her.

"Ugh I'm going to get this over with." whined Storm going to the showers on the mares side as she glanced at Rainbow, who had a blank look on her face water running down her body, staring at Soarin on the colts side.

"Uhm Mum?" asked Storm waving a hoof in front of her face as she blinked and shook her head.

"Oh uh yeah." said Rainbow awkwardly waving a hoof glancing about before throwing a towel on her self and making her way over to her locker.

Storm rolled her eyes and went in the shower Rainbow left on.

-After showering-

"Mum could you send this to pony ville?" asked Storm giving Rainbow a letter on her desk as Rainbow rolled her eyes.

"Stormie can you ever knock?" asked Rainbow as Storm blushed.

"One, no I can't, two, please can you not call me Stormie in public... or at least not around my friends." grumbled Storm.

"Can't I tease you?" snickered Rainbow.

"No!" whined Storm.

"Ok, ok jeex, yeah yeah, I'll get Fast Clip to send it for you." nodded Rainbow.

"Ok, thanks! Cya mum, love ya." smiled Storm.

"Uh huh, love ya blah blah blah, bye!" said Rainbow reading a book called 'how to annoy your children at the age of 14 or 15.', unknown to Storm.

"Hey uh Storm." said Swept standing outside Rainbow's office purposely waiting for her.

Storm yelped and looked around before looking at Swept and she sighed.

"Don't do that Swept, anyway, what's up?" asked Storm.

"Oh uhm sorry, anyway I wanted to know if you uhm..." a blush started to form on his face as he hesitated for a moment before speaking up, "If you want to uhh h-hang out?"

"Uhh, sure, don't have anything better to do." smiled Storm not taking in any note that he was blushing in front of her.

"Oh uhm ok..."

"You wanna go racing? I'm always up for a race!" smirked Storm. (Ughhhr hhikahd I put Rainbow again... x3)

"Yeah, sure, warning you I'm one for speed." smirked Swept a little more confident than before as Storm smiled.

"Oh yeah? Prove it!" exclaimed Storm as they shot each other knowing looks then zooming outside.

"Hah... they're such a couple." smirked Rainbow punching Fire's shoulder at the end of the corridor, Rainbow somehow getting out of her office.

Fire raised an eye brow and snickered.

"You really wanna be related to Lightning?" asked Fire looking down at her as she paused and glared at him.

"You know that! He's so annoying, Sheesh he liked me once." grumbled Rainbow as he smirked.

"ONCE?"

"Ok, all his life, literally, I bet he liked me when we were 5." grumbled Rainbow.

"And your 100% right! He liked every single filly when he was 5!"

"Including Flight??" snickered Rainbow.

"... Maybe not her, Flight just CRUSHED on him..." mumbled Fire.

"Heh, I wouldn't mind being related to you or Misty though." smirked Rainbow.

"Mhmm..."

-At 7-

"Nice hanging with you Storm." smiled Swept blushing a little.

"Mhmm, you too Swept." smiled Storm.

"So uhm I better be going now..." mumbled Swept.

"Oh uh ok..."

"So uh cya tomorrow..."

"Yeah... bye..." sighed Storm as they smiled at each other and went in opposite directions.

Storm went into her room to be greeted by Flaring and Fury who were talking on Flaring's bed.

"Oh hey, where's Sky?" asked Storm.

"He was busy." snickered Fury.

"With his mare friend!" giggled Flaring as Storm rolled her eyes.

"Ok, and whose that?" smirked Storm.

"I dunno yet but I'm prying him into it!" snickered Fury as Slinging suddenly appeared in their room.

"Slinging?" asked Flaring raising an eye brow.

"Oh that idiot." grumbled Fury.

"Hah... guess he interfered with every cadet." snickered Storm.

"SLINGING I KNOW YOU IN THERE!" shouted Rainbow kicking the door open and grabbing him.

"Wait what?" asked Storm looking down at Rainbow on the floor holding down Slinging.

"Aww! You got me commander! Play again!" squealed Slinging like a little colt as Rainbow growled.

"Well that 'little colt' has TIME OUT NOW GET THE HECK OUT AND TO MY OFFICE!" shouted Rainbow as he saluted in a goofy manner and Rainbow got off him.

Slinging stumbled out the door and down the stairs whilst Rainbow sighed.

"Sorry for interfering jeez he is an idiot." grunted Rainbow ruffling Storm's mane before flying out and closing the door.

"Yet she has to annoy me before leaving... jeez where does she get these annoying methods?" grumbled Storm as Fury shrugged and Flaring was trying to hold back giggles.

A letter came through the post box on the door and Storm went to pick it up, her face lightening when she recognised her alicorn friend's hand writing, ripping it open, whilst Fury and Flaring looked over her shoulder.

Dear Storm,

OMIGOSH HOW ARE YOU DOING?! I'M DOING GREAT, WE'RE ALL DOING GREAT, I KNOW YOUR DOING GREAT BECAUSE RIGHT NOW WHEN YOUR READING THIS YOUR IN YOUR BEDROOM, AND I JUST READ ABOUT YOUR DAY! Oh and Stormie... you forgot your cupcakes -pout- <Winter Whiz <NO RADIANCE IT'S WINTER WHIZZY!

Oh I was SO worried! I'm glad your doing okay and your made new friends! I can't wait for your next letter! And what do you mean, 'my mothers mode' ? < Harmony

"AWWW that's so cute!" squealed Flaring.

Storm and Fury looked at her confused as she shrugged.

"Pff, I know Shadow rlly loves me." smirked Storm.

"Uhh Shadow?" asked Fury.

"... Who do you think? My colt friend? No! My brother..." grumbled Storm rolling her eyes.

A knock came on the door as Flaring opened it and let them in.

Night came through the door with a smirk on his face as Fury raised an eye brow.

"Dude you look like you just got laid..." said Fury flatly as Storm bit her lip trying to keep in laughs and Flaring snickered.

"WHAAAA?! Uhh ahem, FURY! I did not get laid!" shouted Night, blushing at the thought.

"Oh ok! What's up with you then?" asked Fury smugly.

"Pff... leave him alone Fury." smirked Storm.

"Ugh... forget it." grumbled Sky.

"Whatever, I'm going to write a letter to my friends now." smiled Storm.

"Wait did you go out with Ace?" asked Fury as Night raised an eye brow.

"What?! No! Sure she has an attitude but shes not my thing."

"Are you sure~?" smirked Fury.

Storm rolled her eyes and set down her friends letter before getting out a quill and scroll.

To, Winter, Radiance, Sweet, Stream and Harmony,

Hope the weeks will go away fast too. I sometimes wonder if me, Spectra and Shadow can get along... anyway, I got your letter and it's nice knowing your all fine. Winter, I did NOT forget those cupcakes, I only took a few since you literally iced and made HUNDREDS...

I met a few more friends today, they were in my team, two colts called Night Sky, and Fury. They're really nice, and Stream, NO! I don't have a liking in them, well not that way anyway. There's also this other colt in my team called Dynamite. I think he's knows LOADS about flying, it's just that he doesn't know how to act properly. Maybe Harmony can stick a bit of kindness in him... I mean your so kind Harm.

Also, I met Misty Fly's and Fire Streak's son, I don't know what's up with me but... I feel all tingly and weird around him...

Anyway, awaiting your next letter in training, I hope your all doing fine! Tell my bro and sis dad totally wants to see them.
