Pinkie lives a normal life, at least normal to Ponyville standards and to her roll as the element of laughter. When she's not planning parties that even the god would want invites to she's saving the world from some powerful threat from the past. And while she did it all with the worlds larges smile, it sometimes becomes too much. Sometimes she'll find the stresses of her every day life to build up to a point where she has to let it all out.

But while she's more than capable of doing it to herself, she begins to fear if her friends can accomplish this as easily as she can. So of course, being the friend that she is, Pinkie decides that she'll help her friends with their stresses, one at a time.
